We had a great experenince for my dear son's first birthday photography with Sara. Sara is just proffessional, kind, smart and so responsible for the work she is doing. Before the photography session, Sara checked in every details with me such as the most dominant color in our home, the postion of our forniture, distances and every little details that at the end of the day you see how those photos come with everything. Moreover she is a great communicator with lchildren, specially litte ones that working with them is not the easiest thing. I first came across Sara on a local parents Facebook group when looking to get some Xmas pictures of our growing family. The experience we had with her in 2019 was great, from the advice in advance about clothing and managing the weather, to her great rapport with the kids on the day, to the beautiful finished shots. We recently had another mini shoot for Xmas 2020 and again Sara went the extra mile - her communications and advice in advance were spot on again (despite the ever changing Government guidelines), and she was incredibly flexible and patient on the day when one of my children had an attack of shyness. Due to the coronavirus, I felt I had missed the window for a photoshoot but Sara was accommodating and was able to book us a session. The whole process was quick and easy; she also provided guidance on what to expect and things to bring. The session didn't go as planned due to a very fussy baby however Sara remained calm, professional and she handled the kids very well. The time flew by so I was quite worried that we didn't get enough shots but she restored my confidence and I was really pleased with the final result. You can tell she truly loves what she does which is apparent by the way she treats her customers and the amazing quality of the photos she produced. Sara combines an innate ability to calm even the youngest babies with a searing eye for detail and immense technical skill. She was extremely good natured throughout the shoot, and produced some stunning images at the end. Her studio is well equipped for all manner of settings and backdrops, it's comfortable, and I was even able to get some work done during my son's shoot. We now have some brilliant images which we will keep for the rest of our lives, and in the short term, bombard our friends and family. Lovely stuff.

We had a newborn photo session with Sarah when our baby was 12 days old (Jan 2020). We had been in contact for a few months prior to the session and Sarah was always very responsive, informative, flexible, accommodating, and lovely. The first 2 weeks of your baby’s life are sacred, protected time, and I was unsure about spending the best part of a day in a studio but I have to say it was a lovely experience. I felt 100% confident handing my baby over to her skilled hands. She was amazing with him and perhaps more impressively our 2.5 year old who we wanted in photos with the baby as well as family shots. We returned to view the photos and select a package which was also nice to do with Sarah’s guidance. We chose a full package including digital files, album and a framed picture (delayed due to corona-virus). The photos she captured are wonderful and the album is amazing. I’m happy to have such a wonderful keepsake, just wish we had done the same for our first child!

I first heard about Sara through the Baby Sensory classes where she also takes pics. On the strength of that, and having looked through her portfolio, I decided to get studio pics done with my 11 month old and husband and I but didn't really know what to expect, or how the photos would turn out. WOW, we are over the moon in terms of both our experience with Sara and the photos themselves. Sara is a very friendly, organized and an extremely helpful photographer. She really seems to love what she does! Nothing was too much trouble (I had some ideas on poses and props) and Sara even went out of her way to advise us on wardrobe choices for all of us. These proved invaluable as my previous clothing choices would have been all off! During the shoot itself, we actually had a great time including my little one. Sara is a lovely person and very relaxed during the shoot, so we never felt pressured or like we were doing something 'wrong'. Sara took the most beautiful photos of my daughter when she was a newborn. I found her just by google searching my local area and fell in love with her style of pictures. I wanted quite simple photos (no dress ups/gimmicks) and particularly loved Sara’s black and white newborn photos. The day itself was brilliant - my daughter was 9 days old so the shoot took several hours in between her feeding/napping/being changed etc. Sara made my husband and I feel so welcome, plied is with sweets and cups of tea (most appreciated!) and was wonderful with my baby.
