Wow, wow, wow, where do we start. From the first time I contacted Tom he was lovely, he went through everything step by step and the packages he offered. We booked Tom and I'm so glad we did as the pictures and memories that he captured for us from our special day are truly magical. They are more than we could of ever imagined. Tom made us feel so relaxed from the minute he arrived to the moment he left, our day was an absolute blast. Tom photographed our July 2022 wedding at The Blue Pigeons in Worth, my husband & I 100% recommend him! We first met Tom in August 2020 after contacting him through Bridebook, we were absolutely stunned by the amazing images in his portfolio & gave him an instant follow on Instagram. We vibed with Tom straight away, a fellow Nerd and a kind soul who is so passionate about his work. Tom loves a candid shot, so if you're looking for someone who will capture all the emotions, the special moments & the funny moments. Tom is your guy. Something that stood out to me from the beginning was Tom's experience with photographing Dogs at weddings. It was really important to my husband & I that our dog, Goose, would be there for our ceremony & photos. Tom really came through on that one, we now have some gorgeous photos of Goose at our wedding, and a wonderful family shot with Goose & our son that we will treasure always! If you're anxious around a camera, or even if you love being in front of one, we highly recommend getting a pre-wedding shoot as part of your package. My husband & I are not used to our photo being taken professionally, and we were very nervous to get in front of the camera... Tom is amazing at making you feel confident and relaxed, you forget that the camera is there. He gets you to laugh, smile and maybe even do a little dance. We loved our photos from the pre-wedding shoot, we used some of them for our wedding program, and we had some printed to be placed around our venue. If you visit Tom's website you'll see he describes his photography skills as 'Ninja level', I can confirm that this is accurate! Even though he towers above the rest of us, he blends in with the guests perfectly, and he often appears out of nowhere ready to capture an extra special moment! You may even catch him out of the corner of your eye hiding in a bush or tree for that perfect shot! We received our wedding photos through an online gallery exactly 3 weeks after our wedding day. We were so surprised to receive them so early, and we were absolutely buzzing with excitement as we couldn't wait to see them. That evening we set up a slideshow on our big screen, to view them. Tom said his goal was to capture the story of our wedding, and that he did. My husband & I watched that story, relived those special moments, cried & discovered things we'd missed the first time round. We will be forever grateful to Tom for capturing our day so beautifully. Tom was a delight from the beginning to end. He had so much enthusiasm for everything. He is absolutely wicked with a camera at sunset, we love a good light flare. Tom took the photos during our wedding at Nettlestead place in August 2022 and they are simply the best photos we have ever been in! What an incredible eye he has for light and composition. If I could give Tom more than five stars I would!!! From the first email contacting us to the last text asking if we minded our wedding photos being submitted to a wedding magazine (Tom’s work was chosen to feature!)…. He is Kind, professional, polite, funny and very engaging. We met Tom just before the first lockdown happened and he was the only photographer we bothered to meet with… because just like when you’re marrying the person you love… “when you know they’re the one, then they’re the one” Tom was our “one” He got our sense of humour, he listened to what we wanted, he wasn’t afraid to make suggestions to us but also to let us decide. Making sure we knew it was our day and he was there to make sure we got the photos we wanted. We told Tom we didn’t want too many ‘formal’ photos. We wanted fun, relaxed and natural. He did an great mix of all of these. I cannot explain how well Tom fitted in on the wedding day. Although he is a giant and hard to miss, he was also not noticeable! He was quick, efficient, blended in with the guests, checked we were ok and came up with great ideas on the day. We were meant to marry outdoors but because of the rain and wind (October!) it wasn’t possible but Tom came armed with a clear umbrella and took the most amazing shots of us outside under the umbrella and also running in the rain! Everyone has commented on how much of a lovely guy Tom was and how friendly yet professional he was. My best friend is due to get married this year and immediately wanted Tom! Sadly he is not available for her! If you’re after a genuine person, the most epic photographer and just all round top guy to make you feel and ease and capture your most important moments (and the not so important ones!) then Tom is 100% your man. I even told my husband I want Tom as our friend! 😬🤣 PS make sure you read the contract for an amusing ‘clause’!!!

I cannot recommend Tom enough. We’re now 2 months down the line from our wedding and we still cannot believe how beautiful our photos our. Neither of us particularly enjoy having our photos taken but he made us feel so relaxed and at home in front of the camera. We wanted a combination of editorial style posed photographs and candid shots, too which he more than pulled through on. Tom was our wedding photographer and, in hindsight, I could not have asked for a better one to capture the happiest moments of our lives. From our first interaction, Tom impressed me with his planning and organisation skills: he had already researched what time the sun would set on our wedding day! Tom dedicated a lot of time understanding our needs and desires, we had lots of conversations about angles, light, serious photos, candid ones etc. We had our civil ceremony, wedding breakfast and party at Eastwell Manor, where Tom had worked before, so he was familiar with the venue and knew its photographic potential. However, we also had a church ceremony two days later and Tom has kindly accepted to capture that as well, he moved things in his diary to accommodate us - he was so flexible! He was not familiar with the church, but arrived at the venue super early, tested the light, analysed the angles and was ready for us when we arrived. We wanted to record our ceremony and Tom agreed to set a camera with a tripod in a corner of the room to capture that; he asked a friend to take care of the recording camera separately, thus allowing him to move around the room and take pictures - you literally cannot ask for more from a photographer! Tom was fun to work with, always smiling, always willing to help and please everyone. He communicated clearly, was very patient with me and my odd ideas and requests and the contracting / invoicing parts were conducted professionally. Tom delivered our final photographs (500+) and the recording of our ceremony within 3 weeks. They are a great mix of black & white and colour photos, capturing the venue, the details, the people, he captured moments we missed and moments we want to cherish forever! I love the contrast of his edits, the colours are very vivid, not pale and lifeless like I’ve seen with other photographers. I wholeheartedly recommend Tom as a wedding photographer! Your wedding pictures are going to stay with you forever and your grandchildren will get to see them too (plus tons of other people on social media etc), so you need to make sure your photographer knows what they’re doing and produces qualitative work - Tom definitely did that for us!

My wife and I got married in July 2022 and were lucky enough to book Tom as our photographer. Both of us were nervous about the idea of posing for photos as neither of us (especially me!) particularly like having our photo taken and find it quite an awkward experience. From the moment we first met Tom, he made us feel at ease. We told Tom that we want someone who can capture the day without being too intrusive as well as someone who could make us laugh and feel relaxed throughout the process - Tom was exactly this. We could not rate Tom highly enough. He is an absolute professional and we feel so lucky that he was our wedding photographer. What can I say?! I recommend Tom to anyone who asks (and most people who don't ask too...) he's absolutely fantastic, and we couldn't have found a better photographer for our special day. AND we're absolutely delighted as our lockdown wedding means we'll be having a celebration with ALL our loved ones next year, and having Tom back again! We knew Tom was our number one choice immediately. We'd met a few photographers, but he stood out immediately (and not even because of his height or Blue Peter badge, but both were added bonuses!). Tom had looked up the sunset time for our wedding six months ahead - just one example of how his organisation was absolutely on point. He took care to answer our million questions, show us some examples of his work, and tell us all about how he operates. I knew immediately that I could trust him with my family and friends, and also with what we wanted on our special day - he was immediately kind, and yet could hold his own with a rowdy bunch as needed! Tom did our engagement shoot, and he made me (as someone who absolutely hates having my photo taken) feel completely at ease. He heard our excitable plans, and remembered things we'd told him at our initial meeting. When it came to all the Covid changes, once we knew that we could have a little wedding, having Tom there made such a difference. We had no idea how precious that service would be, and he captured it beautifully. He was completely respectful of the church rules and social distancing, and he was quite happy to go with all the changes to the order of things we made through the day due to the weather, and his photo of us in the rain has changed the whole way I view a rainy day. The man is a legend. He felt like a guest - and I later discovered my Mum even emailed him separately to say thank you, she was so happy with the way he'd done it all! And the images... wow. Absolutely stunning. He was creative in the ways he used social distancing in photos to create some beautiful and unique shots, and repeatedly got soaked in the rain to create some treasured photos for us. You're completely bonkers if you don't hire Tom immediately. He was one of our best wedding decisions, and we can't wait to have him capture even more special moments next year. Thanks Tom!
