We originally were going to let our friend photograph our wedding as he has a good camera but I could see the pressure that put on him under as he’d never shot a wedding before, so we looked around for a professional. We came across Gary from a Google search and checked out his site, stunning work and sooo much good information about weddings. So glad we decided to book him, it took the pressure off our friend, yeah we had to spend a little bit of money but it was worth it. Our wedding images are incredible and you were so nice on the day, even the guests commented on how well you dealt with groups, kids and my Mum! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We chose Gary as our wedding photographer and have to say that he is absolutely fantastic! Before the wedding, he took the time to have a phone call to discuss details and gave us good advice on best family photos. He was flexible and was directly onboard when we brought forward different ideas like the “first look” shoot. On the day, he was very professional and personable and made Silvia and myself feel at ease directly. He blended into the day perfectly while making the most gorgeous photos, capturing the day exactly how we wanted. We are so happy to have had him as our photographer and cannot recommend him enough. We couldn't have wished for anything else. We got married in late 2019, Gary had 1 remaining date in November so we decided he was the photographer for us. His chat on the phone put us at ease as we were previously let down by somebody else. Gary was totally amazing and we realised quickly that he's not just a fab photographer but an amazing people person, making us all feel so comfortable, something I was really worried about. Gary was the only photographer that made us feel special and important from the very start. He came out to see us (none of the others we spoke to even offered!). He is a really lovely guy and wanted to get to know us so he could tell our story through his stunning photos. we got married once Sicily and he came out a few days before to get to know the area, the sun set locations, the venues and our guests. He captured the most amazing photos of us the day before the wedding, throughout the getting ready stage and all through the day and night. He bought his drone, loads of cameras and lenses and even some new tech that made some awesome videos. We didn’t want too many staged photos, we just wanted to enjoy the day and have some “in the moment” photos. Have a look at our blog Gary kindly wrote to see some of the amazing snaps he got. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Wow!! What a fabulous wedding photographer! Gary recently photographed our wedding day at Ashridge house and he went above and beyond what we could have dreamed of. From the first informal chat and booking him, the engagement shoot, the planning and our ideas, down to the wedding day itself, Gary has always been a calming and professional presence. Our engagement shoot was very relaxed (wellies on in a woodland bluebell shoot) which was one year before the wedding, so we knew we were in for a real treat for the actual day. He looked great all suited and booted on our wedding day, our guests barely noticed him blend in (in a good way!), and he was my talking clock, helping me keep organised, calm and collected and he went with the flow when the Great British Weather came into full force making us shuffle around our couple shot timings. But most of all, our dog adored him which in our eyes is the most important thing of all! Our wedding photography has come out beautifully and we absolutely love it, treasured memories to keep forever. Thank you so much! Where to start? Gary is the ultimate professional. From start to finish he made the entire process a dream which is exactly what you need when you’re trying to manage a wedding. The initial Skype meeting put us at ease straight away and meant that we knew what to expect on the big day. Couldn’t recommend Gary more and the photos are perfect. He was so great, that people from our wedding are having him at theirs too!

Gary did a fantastic job with our wedding photos, we absolutely love them! His approach at telling the story of your day, rather than focusing on the set portrait shots, meant that looking through our album really felt like we were reliving our day! It was so lovely to see so many of our favourite moments captured in the photographs. Gary also braved arctic temperatures to get some really beautiful outside shots - we are amazed he managed to feel his fingers or toes after the unexpected minus 8 degree winds. Toby and I couldn’t find anybody local that we clicked with or had the same look we were after for our wedding. Photography was absolutely key for us, we are travelling photographers ourselves and have a good idea what decent photograph should be. Natural yet creative was our request. Gary was just superb! From integrating with our friends and family to the quality of his work. He works so hard during the day we now understand why wedding photographers cost so much, it's not just 1 days hard work lol. He was able to point us to his blog where he shares tips which are great, some I already knew but some were gold and really helped with the flow of our day. We were recommend Gary by 2 friends who had also booked him to photograph their weddings and I seen him in action before so already knew how he worked. Super lovely guy to have around with such a talent for creating such beautiful weddings images, some of which we had no idea he was taking. Not only does Gary produce gorgeous work (I know as I’m a photographer myself), he is completely hands on with everything else too! Even took my Mum and Dads luggage in his car because there was not enough space in his. Was amazing with all the kids, he was like a Pied Piper by the end of the night. When you can multitask like this as a professional photographer and still produce magazine standard imagery you know you have found the right one. Gary came with us to Italy to photograph our wedding. Organising a destination wedding isn’t as easy as you may think. Because he’s done lots of weddings abroad he was able to provide lots of helpful info which was a huge bonus and also organised his own flights and accommodation leaving us to focus on the rest of the trip. We wanted candid wedding photography, relaxed but quality and we were so happy with what he managed to take, just amazing, lasting memories.
