Nick photographed our wedding at Clearwell Castle in April 2022 and it was truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Right from the very first interaction we had with Nick, his kindness, dedication and passion for photography (and for making weddings special for his couples) shone through. He did all he could to help us feel prepared and excited about the day and reassured us when we shared nerves about being photographed, as neither my new husband or I felt we were particularly photogenic! We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and Nick was so helpful and understanding - we were so relieved we were able to find a new date when he was available. Finally our wedding day came around and Nick was such fun to be around - his warmth and enthusiasm made him popular with all our guests and he felt like he fitted in so well he could have been one of the family, staying well into the evening - we were sad to see him go. Nick managed to get some gorgeous photos of us which we adore. He was kind and patient with us, giving great instructions and reassurance, all while he hid in trees and lay in the daffodils to get just the right shot! Nick also arranged a second photographer for us (Andy) who was also very talented and caught a lot of shots of our friends and family enjoying the reception while we were off having our photos taken. There are also lovely photographs of all the styling details including our cake and flowers. We were delighted when we received all our photos in our own digital gallery and have spent weeks enjoying them time and time again. I would recommend Nick to ANY bride and EVERY venue. He is just a wonderful human and an incredibly talented photographer! He captured our special day so perfectly and we really loved working with him!

Can’t even tell you how good Nick was with words. We had our wedding postponed 4x because of Covid - and Nick was able to work with us throughout that time to ensure we could keep our booking. Having a vendor who was so willing to help, definitely took the pressure of us rearranging weddings. On the day, finally, with attempt #5, Nick was on time, relaxed and guided us through what to expect and what to do. He’s such a calming and positive presence that we sat him on a table with family - and they had a blast with him. It’s so nice to not have to worry about people and they’re just socially fluid enough to mingle with every single guest. Would recommend highly - especially to know that he’s capturing those memories and that they are being safeguarded. Can’t wait to display some of his images in our home.

We cannot recommend Nick enough, he was our photographer for our wedding and put us completely at ease when we first chatted with him. He is an absolute professional and isn’t afraid to do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot. We had two calls with Nick ahead of our wedding day where he made sure we had everything we needed which was so valuable as it’s easy to forget all the shots you want to remember your day by. Then on the day he was exceptional - we were so comfortable with him and he integrated amazingly with our friends and family so they were all at ease too. Nick was an absolute dream to work with when we booked him to photograph our wedding. Right from when we got engaged we knew we'd wanted to use Nick and booked him about a year and a half in advance due to seeing his wonderful back catalogue of photos and when we met up for a coffee and initial chat he couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and we were so excited. Due to COVID we moved our wedding twice and Nick was so supportive and flexible, putting us at complete ease in what could have been a stressful situation made easier with wonderful suppliers. When it looked unlikely our original plans once again weren't going to go ahead we decided to go with a micro wedding a few days before Christmas 2020 and once again Nick was BRILLIANT with the changed plans. What can I say other than Nick was a huge part in making our day so special. The day itself ended up being in lockdown in Wales, raining cold and windy and Nick worked in all of these conditions, making us and our few guests so at ease and made it so easy for us to enjoy the day. He captured our day perfectly in a way that was so 'us' and we had so much fun even in the weather. As we couldn't have a reception, we had photos at Penarth Pier and a few friends had socially distanced come down to see us and Nick incorporated them into the day with some really special photos. Everyone commented how great he was. We were delighted when we got the photos back and it means so much to share such amazing pictures that captured the spirit of the day for the people that also couldn't be there. Nick, honestly we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to everyone we know and anyone reading this- you were brilliant and helped make our day and we can't wait to have an excuse to book you again in the future. Nick shot our wedding back in 2013 and we are still in live with our photos. We knew from Nick’s website that he was amazingly talented but when we met Nick to discuss what we wanted for the day we realised we'd made the right choice. That's not even mentioning the fact he got into a tractor bucket 12ft in the air to get our group shot!!
