Fantastic service at this store. I visited this store multiple times. They have good range of stuff. They also offer repairs and maintenance for. Cameras. Also, they provide good range of products, sometimes not listed in the store but in the website. If you have anything in mind just pop and ask the staff or if you are sure of an item in the website, just ask one of them. They are really helpful, professional and patient. They answer questions and provide you with options. Also, they give you time to check things and get the experience with stuff. The tall gentleman in the front, I am sorry ai don't know his name, he is very helpful and served me twice in the store. Prices are acceptable. Definitely worth visiting again and again.

This is without a doubt the best photographic store I have visited - very easy to access with plenty of parking & a lift to the first floor showroom, extremely helpful & knowledgeable staff (Tommy was just brilliant today), a good amount of used as well as new stock, & a very efficient trade-in / part exchange service. The after sales service is also excellent - I used the online chat to clarify an issue I had, & in the past I had a problem with an item which was promptly replaced (& arrived the next day). I 100% recommend Wex Norwich.

Excellent service at Wex Photo in Norwich - Emily was very knowledgeable and took me through various different bridge cameras. She was very patient with me when I kept switching between two cameras & was also informative about suitable memory cards and bags for my new camera. The only reason it is 4 stars rather than 5, was that because of a break-in at another Wex Photo store, all the cameras had had to be moved behind glass, so weren't at their usual locations on the side next to their information and we had to double check the price and exact make of camera on their website on a couple of occasions.

I bought a used lens today, Saturday the 20th August and would like to thank Tommy for all his help and assistance in the purchase, he put me at ease in the knowledge that Wex would sort any problems with the lens should any arise. The lens was like new in appearance and I am sure it will be fine. I have dealt with Wex for a good number of years now and always found the staff helpful and caring and I would not go passed them for a competitive price and reassuring service.

Great range of camera supplies and equipment. Was recommended to visit here while on my trip, so I came here looking for tripod and a flash to go with an odd 1954 film camera (heavy with a corner tripod bolt thread) and was fortunately well-assisted by a very patient and helpful staff member called Emily. Tried and tested the equipment at the store close to 2 hours as she had to bring out models that were not on display to suit my camera, as well as testing and comparing between the Calumet and Manfrotto brands. Left the store with some nice discounts and more importantly suitable gear! Other out of stock items would then be notified to me when available in the store again. fairly priced and well stocked. the usual amount of smugness from the staff, but that's to be expected from anyone who sells any sort of tech. If entered into as a situational comedy sketch interactions can be entertaining and often informative. Several members of the team are very good at playing with my children while I look at the products. In fact I've deducted a star only because a) the best one has left (don't know here name) and b) there's no baby-gate at the top of the stairs in there. If they get a baby gate I'll add the extra star and realistically drop my kids off and never come back.

Popped into WEX Norwich today as my son wants to get into photography and wanted a camera for his birthday so I thought would let him go and have a hands on look at some so he could see what he may want. The assistant, Tommy, was very helpful, friendly and informative and was able to answer any questions we had as well as guide my son in choosing his first camera. There was no pressure from him in buying anything or over selling. But due to his help and customer service I decided to get the camera today, but unfortunately my son still needs to wait 6 weeks before he can have it. We think wex is in a good place in Norwich, as you don't have to fight your way to the city centre and the parking free. From the out side you can be forgive thinking you are in the wrong place, but boy was I wrong , as soon as you get in the door you can tell this place knows what they are doing. I was looking for a Used canon 7d, Tommy explained all the options of the camera and the grading system of Used equipment and other options, he was very helpful by listening to what had to say and helping me with my purchase. This place looked like it had all the makes of camera and scopes with a lot of accessories for all of them. Thanks to Tommy I will be out at the weekend hunting for that next best photo

Great service. Great advice. I travel for two hours each way to buy as much of my equipment in person from here as possible. Chris and his moustache have been especially helpful recently with tooling up for a short notice job. Good place, excellent range of items and one of the only places that still sells 35mm/120 film at reasonable prices. Good service from some staff but others are painfully slow in getting items from the warehouse. Stood for around 10 minutes whilst the chap went to get my item and, when he came back, realised he had the wrong one and disappeared for another 10 minutes. Good job I wasn’t in a rush

The showroom is amazing, it's like an Aladdin's cave of everything photography. I went there for a specific camera but the salesperson showed me options without any sales pressure or attempts to "up sell". The sales person was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient, listening to what I was looking for and gave me options based on my requirements, not trying to sell me the most expensive but letting me chose the camera that fitted my needs and that I felt most comfortable with, without rushing to get the sale. I don't know how long I was there but it must have been well over an hour. I could have spent longer. It's over an hours drive for me to get to Wex but if I need anything else in the photographic line I would be happy to go there again. Big thumbs up!

An excellent experience from beginning to final purchase. Got a very helpful quote for some equipment I was selling and good further advice and help in a subsequent phone-call. An appointment was easy to set up at a convenient time. Met Nicola at Wex at the appointed time and she was so helpful. Firstly she took me through the process of checking the exchange items and then, when they were swiftly transferred to the checking workshop, she took me through the purchase process and showed me the Sony A7iii that I was proposing to exchange to. Nicola was very knowledgeable concerning the product and when I had asked all I needed to know she offered me tea or coffee to drink whilst awaiting the inspection. I managed to fill the one and a half hours looking at Wex's very large range of stock and at the end of that time I was offered what I thought was a fair price for my old equipment. Nicola then collected the new camera and the purchase went through very smoothly. I will definitely go back to Wex for future purchases as I was so impressed with the quality of customer service. I've just had a really great experience at Wex in Norwich. I wanted to trade in some kit I'm not using enough and got a price over the phone that I was very happy with. When I got to the store and had the equipment (a lens and a tripod) checked over by their team, they ended up offering me more than they'd quoted (which I have never heard of before). I was then served by a guy there called Ryan who couldn't have been more helpful. I wanted to look at some used lenses and get some advice about monitors. He was really patient and thoughtful, gave me some very good advice and didn't once push me into buying anything. I ended up getting a used Sony 85mm 1.4 for about two thirds of the retail price and it looks, feels and operates like a brand new lens. Actually the whole experience was so good that I'm now only going to deal with them for kit. On the phone, in person, it was all just great and I was impressed, mainly because they're knowledgable and efficient but also because their pricing on used lenses is so competitive.

We finally decided to buy some up-to-date binoculars, our existing ones dating form around 1970. Department stores seem to have a limited range and one specialist shop in Norwich, at first glance of their website, seemed to have a large stock, but listed many of them as ‘5–7 days availability’. I don’t think you can buy something like binoculars without looking through them, so we went to Wex at Norwich. Our main decision was whether to have 8 or 10 magnification, and then sort out the cost. We must have been talking to Ryan for at least an hour, running through the variations, but he was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. I then asked about extension tubes and a telescope to camera adaptor. I thought these were somewhat obscure, but no, Ryan found them. Small problem: Wex have the retail outlet I visited and some kind of an office on another site. While my old sat-nav took me to the shop, my new one took me to the office. The chap in the office printed me out the directions to the shop. Most helpful. To avoid doing what I did, 52° 39' 08.48" N : 1° 15' 33.56" E Will get you to retail.. Edward

After hearing a lot of good things about WEX from friends I decided to upgrade my camera with one of their used selection. Wanted to trade my old camera in which was in good condition. Originally quoted £100-120 but because I didn't have the original charger dropped by £50. Hardly something that matters when it still charges the battery fine. I still purchased my new one from them but found that had a major defect where the bezel around the touchscreen was bent. However I was able to repair this myself. Overall not the quality of service I expected.

My second visit to the store. I first went there to trade up my EOS 5D Mark III for the 5D Mark IV when it was launched a couple of years ago. This time I took advantage of the trade in bonus offer to upgrade my Canon 100-400mm zoom lens to the version II of the same lens. The transaction was as smooth and relaxed as ever! I've also mail-ordered a couple of items in the past and found that service to be equally efficient. The Wex staff are professional, patient and friendly and offer good advice and suggestions without making the customer feel inadequate in their own knowledge of photography. I do a lot of online viewing and reviewing, and WEX is my most used website by far, so when we were on our holiday in Norfolk it was the obvious thing to do to go and visit the shop. It is very spacious for a camera shop, about the size of 8-10 average camera shops perhaps! I went in aiming to trade a couple of lenses, and Nicola served me. Despite the fact that I was unaware they book appointments for appraisals, she got me booked in and I got a fair price for my two lenses, which I then traded against a Panasonic 42.5mm 1.7 in pristine condition. It was much nicer going into the shop and being able to handle the kit before deciding, as cameras are a very tactile thing and you need to be happy with your purchase. As WEX Norwich is literally a warehouse, all the 2nd hand stock is located there, so anything on the website is available to look at or buy. Nicola immediately put by the lens I was interested in to avoid it being sold while I decided, and she was more than happy to fetch out other items for me to look at while I was there. Bottom line: I went, I traded, I came away happy! Recommended ☆☆☆☆☆

I went in a few days ago with a view to fix my broken Nikon D750. On arrival Nathan served us. He looked over the camera and could see the shutter was knackered. He made sure to point out exactly where so I could see. Great. Need new camera. Really thinking about going mirrorless and Nathan took the time to show me the Nikon Z camera that I could have used with my current lenses by using a mount. However I had not really budgeted spending that much in that moment. He was really good at going through what second hand items were in stock and I ended up coming away with the same camera as I was using before. Which is good enough for now because I want a Sony anyway and will save for one.

I was really pleased at the service WEX has provided. There aren't many photographic shops that provide all if not most photography equipment, as a professional photographer, I find this a challenge sometimes. I ordered some photography filters and holders (approx £300 worth) and was offered free next day delivery as my order was over a certain amount. I was pretty surprised when my order turned up the next day! As I placed it late in the afternoon. Packaging was clean and the filters all were in their warehouse packaging (bonus as you know no one has used or touched these!) Everything in my view was 100%, Thanks WEX.

The technical advice was good and helped to re-enforce that the investigation which I had previously completed was correct. Ordering the telescope was easy - but would be good if it gave better explanations to the benefit of additional pieces to the main item purchased. The delivery was a nightmare. I ordered at the weekend and paid for the next business day delivery. There were three items being delivered. Parcel force tried to deliver the following day, but, I was out at the time. I went along to the local hub at 6pm to collect the telescope. They could only find two pieces and not the third item (the actual telescope). They promised that they would deliver the third item on Tuesday. I waited at home all day, by mid Tuesday afternoon I called Wex to find out where the telescope was. They let me know that Parcelforce had sent the telescope to a different hub and it would now be delivered on Wednesday. The man on the phone offered to refund my £4.99, but in all honesty he sounded a bit bored and not very interested. I turned this down as I was to cross to be placated by a small payment and stated that I would prefer for them to penalise Parcel force due to their poor delivery service. The telescope finally arrived today. Looking forward to actually using it whenever the clouds clear.
