Rachel is the loveliest lady you will ever meet! So chilled out and made us all feel really comfortable and relaxed, not only has she got amazing photography skills but she is also absolutely outstanding with babies! She had our little one calm and sleeping ready for the photos in no time! Would 100% recommend this service! Rachel was lovely from start to finish - she added an extra studio session to squeeze us in before the second lockdown and was so calm and relaxing throughout the session. She didnt't even bat an eyelid as we turned up to her pristine white studio with a baby who had pooed through her clothes! The mark of a true professional. Rachel is a true professional. My 7-month-old son and I visited Rachel after lockdown regulations had been lifted and we had a socially distanced photoshoot. Rachel made Otis and I feel at complete ease and made sure all of our needs were met in a safe manner. The final pictures are absolutely beautiful. I can’t stop looking at them. I started researching photographers when I was pregnant with our little girl, as I was looking for someone who would be able to really capture the simple purity of our newborn without the aids of distracting props or outfit. Rachel at Authentic Baby Photography fit the bill perfectly, and I was able to see examples of her stunning work through her website and Instagram. Rachel was extremely professional and helpful during the booking process, and explained how it would work. On the day, the studio was a calm haven, and Rachel was great at helping us to put our baby at ease, and settle her to sleep for the photoshoot. We first saw Rachel when my son was 2 weeks old, experiencing one of her newborn sessions at our home. It was a lovely experience and very easy going. I had just had a cesarean, so was a bit worried about having some pictures with my baby but Rachel was very patient and had loads of different ideas of how to capture us as a family, no pressure. It was very relaxed and gentle and my son was very comfortable! The pictures were very organic, using natural lighting and beautifully simplistic. Those first few weeks with our newborn were so special but hectic and flew by fast, which made it so important to capture the tiny details before he changed! His wrinkles have now turnt to rolls and and the memories of how tiny he was were captured perfectly by Rachel! So 5 months on, we visited Rachel's new studio in Woodley yesterday, which is really easy to find and the signage is noticable from the road. There is loads of parking right out the front of the studio, which makes it really easy with little ones. The studio is lovely and warm, very relaxing and calming. You can either sit down and chill whilst Rachel works her magic or you can get involved with the pictures. Even if youre camera shy, dont worry, its just like being at home, playing with your baby! We used bells, bubbles and soft toys to interact whilst Rachel captured my son's natural reactions and expressions beautifully. We were made to feel so welcome and really enjoyed the experience. Rachel was absolutely amazing with my son, he was handled with such care and attention - Rachel is literally the baby whisperer! I am looking forward to wrapping these pictures up for christmas to give to family and would highly reccomend an Authentic baby photography experience if you are looking for photography that captures your baby as they truly are. We will see you again Rachel on his first birthday, to capture some more milestones and memories as his chubby legs turn to walking ones! X

I have had a couple of shoots with Rachel over the past year and I could not recommend her highly enough! The images that she has captured of my children are just so beautiful and natural and something I'll really treasure for years. Lots of them already decorate my walls. I chose to have newborn photos done by Rachel at Authentic baby photography after recommendations from two friends who had also had newborn shoots. The experience from first contact to the photos arriving has been excellent. The day itself was relaxed and Rachel told me what to do at home pre shoot to get a sleepy baby for pictures. Her studio is warm and clean and Rachel herself is very friendly. I am so in love with the photos taken and I will be using her again!

After having my second baby girl in September I instantly regretted not being organised and getting a newborn photoshoot booked in! I had second child mum guilt as I had done the newborn photoshoot thing with my first daughter! Rachel quickly reassured me that it is never too late to get lovely photos and encouraged me to bring my two girls together to her studio (4 months & 3 1/2 years!) to see what photos we could get. I’m not going to lie, I was SO nervous as my 3 1/2 year old is going through the refusal and meltdown stage & well 4 month olds are 4 month olds! But as soon as I walked into the studio I instantly felt relaxed! Rachel is so laid back and chilled which rubs off on everyone else! Both girls loved every minute and Rachel had lots of tricks up her sleeve! I LOVE the photos Rachel got of the girls! It really sums up their personalities and it’s so lovely to have some fantastic photos of both of them together to celebrate and display! Best thing I did! : )
