J. T.I've always found it diffucult to stick to a rehab plan given by Physios as I never see any results and never sure I am doing them correctly and just give up but with the Physio Clinic Glasgow it's different they set out a rehab plan for you.
The physios work with you in their gym at each visit, they show you the technique on how to do the exercises to make sure you are doing them correctly, which is important and they also give you the confidence to then do them on your own as you do them you start seeing results fast. Patience is key.
I'm a Runner and I have been injured for 2 years I've only started a rehab plan in less than a month with Robb and already I'm back running pain free. I'm still currently rehabbing as a precaution but I'm well on my way back thanks to Robb.
*The exercises they give you are very specific to the injury that you have and I believe this has been key to a quick recovery.*
J. B.After many years of suffering from lower back problems, some quite serious, It was recommended that I see Arran at The Physio Clinic.
Straight off the bat, it needs to be said that this guys really knows his stuff. From the initial consultation straight through to the end of my 3rd session, this was a highly rewarding, first class experience.
Arran very quickly identified the cause of my issues which hadn't been identified previously and he started me on a customised rehab plan that took into account not just my overall recovery but also my broader goals and objectives.
As a weightlifter I was extremely nervous about getting back to lifting again but over the course of my sessions at The Physio Clinic my confidence grew. There were times when it felt like Arran was my coach as opposed to my physio. He was in the gym with me explaining every detail, making tweaks and supporting me fully. I believe that this dedicated one on one support is what made the difference in terms of the speed of my recovery, as it was highly motivational and made it straightforward for me to continue my rehab at home and in the gym.
After only an initial consultation and 3 sessions with Arran, I was pain free, stronger, my lifting technique had improved and I was much more confident in my abilities. I was also equipped with better knowledge regarding strength development, muscle activation and injury prevention. This is the gold standard for physio. I highly recommend The Physio Clinic.

L. W.I attended the Clinic with my 15 year old son who is a performance tennis player as he was experiencing lower back pain which left him unable to play. Arran diagnosed the problem very quickly and explained clearly what was causing the pain. He then took us to the gym where he gave Connor some exercises to do and again explained very clearly what was involved. The programme was emailed to us and was very detailed and an appointment made to return in 10 days. The exercises helped greatly and Arran could see a big difference in Connor’s movement when we returned and more importantly the pain had reduced greatly. Arran spoke to Connor about continuing his rehab and also gave him a plan to help strength and performance going forward. I was hesitant about seeking help for an ongoing ankle injury as I’d been let down by physios in the past, however after just two visits to Arran my ankle has been stronger than ever, and after over two years of avoiding running I am now able to run pain free and actually enjoy running again!
From our initial consultation to a check up, Arran was so patient and helpful, and listened to me. I also appreciated that his advice came from a professional who takes training and exercise seriously, which translated to his encouragement to get me back running again, rather than avoiding it entirely!

R. C.I went to the Physio Clinic after being told by a doctor i had pulled my rotator cuff. I was dubious on the idea of physio's as i thought its just a massage and a little bit of chat about what to do. That isnt the case here. Arran has spent a lot of time not only showing me excercises, but allowing me to use the equipment he has to perform my excercises during my apppointment. The progress that has been made with my shoulder is all down to going to the Physio Clinic and getti g the right treatment and knowledge about my injury. A huge thanks to Arran for going above and beyond to get me back playing football again. After my initial assessment he got me started with a specific exercise programme, that was easy to fit around my daily life and after a couple of weeks had really reduced my pain levels. Having went to a lot of different physios around Glasgow and the surrounding areas, The Physio Clinic Glasgow is the best I've been to. The team there for sure know there stuff and can tell then have a real passion for their job as well, plus the level of detail and the service they provide is excellent. Not only have both Arran and Robb got me back playing rugby and recovering from my injury, but they also made the rehabilitation stage enjoyable for me as well. The new types of exercises that they have introduced me to have made me feel stronger in my hamstring and shoulder than they ever were before.
Both Arran and Robb put 100% into what they do and this reflects the service they provide as well as been two great class guys.
The Location of the Clinic is also perfect with it being only a stones through away from the M8.

Not only are they based within a gym which allows them to be a lot more hands on with what your injury is and how to work around it/rehab for it whilst looking to see if there is any changes that could help with your form or warmup. N. T.Started my rehab tonight and can’t thank you enough. I’ve been to physios, orthopaedic, and GP before (well over 15 years) and continually been told it’s just inflammation/bursitis and given cortisone injections.
First appointment with Arran and I’ve learned in simple, understandable terms what is actually causing the pain and restricting my fitness progress, given a plan to rectify the problem and enable me to squat again, which I’ve been frustratingly unable to do with good form for a number of years.
Tonight I followed the rehab plan, corrected the positioning issues you identified and was able to squat low!! Couldn’t be happier!!

L. W.I had struggled with planters fasciitis in my foot and an impingement to the rotator cuff in my shoulder for some time. This was very annoying as I love the gym. I had spoken to other people and had been advised just to stretch, roll and buy insoles. None of this was helping much. Got a recommendation to see Arran who really listened to the issues properly and gave me some new excercises to build into my gym routine. I love the fact that the clinic is in a gym so you can try out the exercises properly, Arran also took time to look at my weight lifting techniques to make sure I wouldn't go back and injure myself again. He is a font of knowledge, really knows his stuff and after 4 sessions I am on the road to recovery, having built strength in the injured areas. As an active person I appreciate that he has encouraged me to keep doing everything I do and I have the confidence to know I can. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the physio clinic.

He explained to me in laymans terms the reason for my back pain, we then worked together to create a treatment programme that suited my training goals and lifestyle. J. L.I visited the Physio Clinic Glasgow as a sort of last chance saloon after 2 major knee surgeries (ACL reconstruction) due to football injuries. I had just about given up hope on returning to football after my post-surgery NHS physio was discontinued due to COVID. However, my sessions with Arran have drastically improved my strength, stability, power and overall confidence in my affected leg. In my initial assessment we thoroughly discussed my injury history and my main worries/concerns. This gave me confidence from the onset my rehab plan was being tailored to my individual needs.
The rehab exercises prescribed have been sport-specific and effective in keeping me motivated and challenged throughout the process so far. The intensity and difficulty of exercises have increased in a manageable but challenging pace to ensure I keep pushing myself and continue to maximise progress. Arran has also made himself available for any questions or concerns I have in between sessions which I have valued greatly given my initial lack of confidence. I still have a lot of work to do but Im now fully optimistic I’ll get back playing football sooner rather than later.

The weeks leading up to them I had upped my running a fair bit. And 5 days before my foot was in AGONY. Got down to The Physio Clinic 5 days before and had a consultation with Robb. He sorted me out. Was able to run and smashed the half marathon.
Went back for a follow a week later and ready to smash my second half next week!

S. A.I was seeing another physiotherapist for almost 18 months due to severe leg pain. I found it difficult to work in the fast paced role that I have within my workplace. The problem wasn’t being fixed despite regularly visiting this other physiotherapist. I was recommended to Aaron by my personal trainer & seen him for 5 sessions. Aaron identified the issue straight away & gave me various stretches/exercises to help ease the pain in my leg which I done on a daily basis. Each session I felt less pain & was able to do more in my work (12 hour shifts, busy environment & on my feet most of the dayshift & nightshift) I was also able to do more in the gym. After a recent flare up I seen Rob who also helped me with my leg. I now rarely have any issues whatsoever and I continue to do the exercises that were given to me to avoid anymore flare ups. I’d like to thank both Aaron & Rob & would recommend both to anyone looking for a physiotherapist. They were welcoming & have always replied to any message I have sent them if I’ve had any queries about anything at all.

I came in with back pain that was affecting my training and he quickly diagnosed it as sciatica. He had a look at my squat and noticed that due to the issue I was shifting my squat to the right. So we looked at ways to shift the focus back to the centre and de loaded my squat. This was 4 weeks ago, I’m free of pain and my squat has never looked or felt better.
Arran keeps the process simple and tailored to you, he is always available for support. Everything he does he explains why he is doing it and why it’s going to help you and does it in simple terms that are understandable. I went for a follow up and he is extremely happy with the progress and we’ve progressed the exercises to help me get stronger and recover quicker.
Can’t recommend Arran enough. Guys a Genius.

C. O.I met with Arran last week to discuss some irritating muscle ache I was experiencing all over the body. Now, I was never one for doing stretches before and after an exercise. When you've got Olivia Rodrigo playing in your ears, the last thing you want to do is balance on one leg and wait until you've achieved flexible enlightenment. Nonetheless, my supposition was that strectching was crucial, and I wanted an expert opinion on how I should stretch. "There's the list, away you go" and all that. Instead, I had one of the most edifying conversations with Arran, a "total nerd" (his words) when it comes to putting scientific rigour to everything a healthy individual requires. He was a sponge, absorbing all of the relevant details of my life - how I sleep, what my nutrition is like, am I stressed at work - before going on to offer fascinating explanations on why these are relevant factors, and how we go about improving each cog in the machinery. Yes, I got my rehab plan (which has certainly helped solved the issue of my one significantly weaker leg), but I also left with clarity; a sense that I could see through the presupposed blinding complexity of keeping in tip-top shape as an athlete, so long as I applied sound practices to each of the components required of a healthy individual.
Furthermore, the Instagram page is fantastic for these little nuggets of information. The Q&A session that occured the other day was a highlight. And I have been able to message Arran on that platform with any little questions I have about my training/recovery. They've got a podcast too, don't you know?

I visited The Physio Clinic after I conducted some research of local, physiotherapist practices around Glasgow. I had been suffering with a lower back injury that was interfering with my weight-based training performance and was also impacting normal day-to-day activities. Arran was polite, professional and also both knowledgeable and educational! I was given with the correct injury diagnosis after some tests and that was followed with a injury rehabilitation plan which included correction exercises. The injury has now resolved with only two physiotherapy sessions over a short time period of one month. I'll be back if I have any more injuries! Thank you!

P. B.I’m actually based in London but with lockdown in place I realised I could see a physio from anywhere! I initially saw Robb for a knee injury which with his direction cleared up within a few weeks so I decided to mention a shoulder that has been painful on and off for 18 months. I’ve had physio and seen a chiropractic about my shoulder but it only ever seemed to feel better for a couple of days. Now following Robb’s diagnosis it’s feeling a whole lot better and I’m able to do all the exercises/ weight lifting with it which I was worried about before. Robb really goes the extra mile - Checking in on you via WhatsApp between appointments and sending me some exercise bands through the post. Even when lockdown is over I will book to virtually see Robb if another injury arises!

As a Personal Trainer and owner of a business I find it can be hard on my body with the amount of one to one boxing padwork sessions I do each week. Since I spoke to "The Physio Clinic" they have given me a perfect routine to work on my shoulders and traps which has already had a huge impact on the pain I was getting. Definitely going to be going back for a few weeks to see the programme through which they have put in place for me.
m.Arran couldn't have been more helpful in getting me back running after problems with my tendon. Not only did he explain what was happening and why, he was able to talk me through how the rehab exercises would help me and stop the injury from recurring. Excellent service start to finish, couldn't recommend enough.

My experience with Aaron has been excellent. Having been to a physio twice before (once for collarbone break and once for shoulder injury), my experience this time was very different. Aaron took plenty time to thoroughly assess and explain my injury as well as giving me exercises that were manageable for my pain, lifestyle and my overall goal (to get back to impact exercise and to strengthen my ankle). A. Z.Booked in after having issues with knee pain and being unable to straighten out my leg. Robb was very knowledgeable and we talked through some history and potential causes, what his initial impressions were and outlining an early time-line for recovery.
He then ran a couple of tests to identify what the issue was most likely and got me in the adjacent gym for some basic movements and to demonstrate some exercises for rehab, and provided me with a resistance band for the exercises.
Checked back in, after a couple of weeks, and having made good progress he updated the exercises to make them more difficult to help further with the recovery.
Overall, Robb was professional and clear in his instruction (and even helped ease my worries after Googling what the issue could have been) and I'm very happy with the service provided.

A. M.I've had the unfortunate experience of having to go to quite a few different physiotherapists over the past few years, but The Physio Clinic Glasgow is by far and away the best physio I've been to.
I got an appointment with Arran after injuring my knee while training for a marathon. His enthusiasm and dedication to his work is plain to see and he was able to clearly and concisely explain what he felt the issue was. He also took his time to show how each exercise would hopefully help and why he was asking me to do them. I really appreciated when he asked me what my targets were and what I thought might be causing the pain as it led to a more collaborative effort which I feel I haven't had previously with other physiotherapists.
Over the next few months I went back to Arran once every 4 weeks and each time we altered my rehab exercises based on the feedback I was getting from my knee and what we believed would work best.
I'm now two weeks away from my first marathon and my knee is feeling so much stronger and that's down to Arran and his guidance/expertise.
Couldn't recommend them enough and they'll be my first port of call if I ever need physio again 👍

After a bad injury a few years ago Robb has done a brilliant job so far In helping me with my rehab and building my strength back up. I was very skeptical at first due to not having the best experience with another physio and coming to dead ends with doctors and specialists. I sort of accepted that I would have pain and weakness in my leg for the rest of my life however from the first session with Robb until now the advice and everything else has been second to none! The strengthening and the stretching exercises that I have been given are working brilliantly so far. The best my leg has ever felt! Very smart clinic and friendly professional advice. Perfect as my appointments can fit around my busy work schedule with me working away. Never any issue getting booked in for an appointment and Robb is happy to work round me with no dramas. I. J.I found The Physio Clinic Glasgow when I had what I thought was a muscle spasm in my back and shoulder which suddenly became worse. It left me in a lot of pain, unable to sleep and a weakness in my right arm. I got an appointment at the clinic with Robb who immediately knew that what I was experiencing was an issue with the nerves and he was able to explain all my symptoms and reassure me that we could work together to improve the situation in a couple of appointments over time. Robb gave me exercises to do in the beginning which were modified to keep me progressing over a couple of follow up appointments. The exercises were easy to accommodate in to my day, several times a day and sure enough over time the pain was reducing and strength returning. At our last session, he was honest about feeling that he didn’t need to see me again but gave me the advice I needed to progress on my own and get back to doing the exercise I enjoy but reassured me that I could go back if I had any further issues. From start to finish Robb was knowledgable, professional, personable and very helpful. I couldn’t recommend Robb or the clinic highly enough. If anyone is in any doubt about attending physio, I’d recommend giving The Physio Clinic a shout.

C. M.I went to visit Arran in November after finishing off my shinty season, where throughout the season I had been suffering with knee pain.
After the first session Arran was able to identify the issue, explain to me what was causing the issue and created an active recovery plan to initially strengthen the muscles surrounding the knee.
Throughout the following sessions we increased the load being put through the knee by introducing plyometric movements and single leg exercises.
Just had my last session today in February, just before the start of the shinty season, where I completed some single leg testing which showed my left and right were now at the same performance levels.
Moving forward I now have the knowledge on how best to protect my knee and ultimately improve my performance which I wouldn’t have been able to without the rehab provided by Arran.
I can’t recommend the service provided enough by Arran and I will be recommending any other players that have any issues to visit The Physio Clinic.

From the minute I stepped into the treatment room I was pleased with his professional, friendly manner. Arran went into depth about what I should do to help ease my discomfort & also very clear & knowledgeable in showing me how to continue using my exercises, he clearly knows his profession very well. I was so surprised to find that I only needed 2 sessions to be pain free!
I will continue to use the exercise routines Arran gave me & feel more than confidant to highly recommend The Physio Clinic. Hopefully I can continue to maintain things myself, but have no hesitation on going back should I need to for any more advice or treatment. It was also good to see sanitation measures in place.

C. M.Cant recommend the Physio Clinic enough, friendly and professional with a refreshing outlook on recovery and rehab. I've been seeing Robb for a back injury and feel like I'm seeing improvement after only a few weeks. He explained how I likely got the injury and more importantly reassured me that it's common and nothing that cant be resolved. We're currently working through a rehab plan so I can get back to deadlifting without fear of injuring myself. First physio I've seen that hasn't automatically told me to stop weight training and has invited me to have my lifting technique checked and altered in the gym attached. Confident that in another few weeks time I'll be injury free and possibly stronger.

Prior to seeing Arran, I had previously had 6 sessions with another ‘reputable’ physio, who told me no exercise whatsoever and to rest. Within 5 mins of my second session with Arran he had me completing deadlifts and squats, but not only that explaining to me why we were doing these movements, and how they’d aid my recovery.

3 weeks in and I'm pleased to say I'm noticing an improvement. But the most surprising thing for me is that I'm still motivated and sticking to my rehab plan. The advice Arran offers is simple but not simplistic, and helps me to understand what's happening and what I can expect going forward.

Came in with a sprained ankle after a dramatic outdoor climbing fall that the NHS told me I could just walk off with a bit of ice and resting, didn't even give me crutches! Once I was finally able to walk again I booked a session with Arran and in as little as 12 weeks he got me from barely walking for 5 minutes to jumping off bouldering walls and going on long walks. Climbing is so important to my mental health and Arran helped me get back to it as quick as possible. I appreciated the way he explained the science and reasons behind all his recommendations and when I felt ready to go on my own I felt in no way pressured to keep booking sessions and spending money. Really honest and professional hence the five stars!

m. m.After dislocating my shoulder 4 weeks ago, I looked for a local physio with excellent reviews to support. I got an appointment with Arran the next day and was blown away with the service. Arran ensured I understood my injury and the process to get it fully healed rather than just a quick fix. He has been super patient and so accommodating with times and exercises for my shoulder than feeling like it’s very generic information! After a consultation appointment Robb provided a clear plan on how we were going to work together to overcome the pain and get back to pain free exercising. N. A.I went to The Physio Clinic with a suspected rotator cuff injury at the start of December. My apt was with Arran, he took the time to fully understand how the injury was effecting me before doing a couple checks. He confirmed it was rotator cuff & gave me rehab exercises to do when I left. I only had to attend a couple more apts with a few tweaks in the rehab exercises before I was discharged with no more pain!! I highly recommend giving them a visit if you have any issues. Everything is fully explained, you are sent the information to read over once you leave & they will not have you coming back frequently if you don’t need to be. Very easy to talk to and I wasn’t bogged down with lots of ‘medical terms’ - which made it easy for me to understand. 10/10 service and should I ever need any help in the future I will only ever come here!

Looking to help identify the problem and work to manage the pain I seen Arran, who was very professional and informed. Throughout the appointment he told me what he was doing and why, and took time to explain why I was experiencing the pain before then looking at ways I could work towards recovery. He tailored a plan that I was comfortable with, and showed me how to do these before sending out a recovery plan with a step by step guide on how to do these. For the first time I’ve felt listened to and feel confident and comfortable with my recovery plan.

When I went to see Robb, he carried out an assessment and devised a structured training programme, focused around strengthening my knees. Robb checked in with me by carrying out video calls, to give me progressive exercises. Robb is very professional and the process was very efficient. Went to see Arran with a pulled/back spasm he gave me a massage and showed me how to stretch out etc. I started to attend to see Robb after another injury and been night and day , I did leave it at first with it only get worse. Craig is the newest member to the team and amazing at sports massage, I went in tonight with a 10/10 pain scale after pulling my back doing squats and can honestly say it’s much better, booked back in for Sunday 🙏🏻
S. D.I sprained my elbow playing golf (poor swing with driver dug into grass) I felt excruciating pain instantly. The doctor told me it was a tendon strain and gave me ibuprofen gel which I used for about 4 weeks but only gave limited relief. I checked out several reviews on physios and decided to go with The Physio Clinic Glasgow as the reviews were all 5 star. Robb did an assessment and put my mind at ease with his description on the tendon problem and how to resolve it with exercises. The timescale was at least 3 months to heal which I didn’t mind as long as it got better. Well after 2 days I couldn’t believe the improvement and stopped using the gel. It’s been 4 weeks since the first appointment and I’m well on the road to recovery. Thanks Robb see you at the next appointment.
s. d.I cannot recommend Robb enough. I worked with Robb at the start of the year due to agonizing pain in my hip/ groin area. I went to Robb seeking answers and help after a previous physio and sports therapist were unable to give me consistent answers and i was making no progress in my recovery preventing me from my sports, and at the worst points just general movements causing pain. During my consultation Robb had clearly identified and explained the cause of my pain - Hip Tendonopathy. He explained how it happened, and how we can improve on it. Robb kept in touch with me throughout my physio which in total was 4 appointments over 5 months. By the 3rd follow up I had literally zero pain and full range of movement again. It has now been 4 months since my last appointment and I have had zero set backs or niggles since. Hopefully I wont get anymore pains or niggles anywhere again, but if I do I would return without a second thought.
