He was amazing, very knowledgable, clearly knew what he was doing, gave me great advice to use at home as well as effective treatments including massages that helped me overcome my injury quickly and get back to work. I’d dislocated my shoulder diving off a boat, went to see Jack for the first time October 15, during the assessment I mentioned I couldn’t sleep because of the pain, it was suggested I put a pillow under the arm as a form of support, slept like a baby that night.
The range of movement I had was very limited, through the.exercise program Jack put in place has had a really positive affect on my range of movement, pain has lessened, I’m now swimming and working on exercises that will mean I’ll be able to play tennis inside the next month.
Jack was recommended to me, in the last month, I have recommended Jack to three people.

I went to Jack several months ago with knee pain that had been ongoing for about a year and was preventing me from running much over 5km. Jack diagnosed the problem and provided me with a recovery plan of appropriate strength exercises and running rules. After the first session (of two in total) and following the plan, I was able to start gradually increasing my distance again without any problems. I am now doing 20+ mile runs pain free. I would recommend Jack to anybody and would definitely go back with any future physio needs!

Jack is a phenomenal physio who has helped me overcome chronic nerve issues (bilateral ulnar nerve) which doctors and other physios have not been able to help with. I was recommended key hole surgery, despite no clear diagnosis and told there was no solution but pain killers and steroid injections. Not only am I in less pain, but being able to lift weights; something I had not been able to do consistently or without pain for years. Jack has also helped me with my back and shin pain - he is a really well rounded individual and has engaging recovery methods. Most importantly, Jack cares for clients and operates with the highest form of integrity - i.e does not try to get you to see him a max amount of times for profit and is genuinely concerned. His concise and easily digestable communication style also means that you are always clear on your diagnosis and plan of recovery. Couldn't recommend more highly, (coming from someone whose visited 10 different physios to no avail!).

Jack has been an absolute life saver! I had been struggling with an injury for almost a year that was preventing me from working as a professional dancer. I had tried different types of therapy with little to no lasting results. Jack was so kind and patient, and I felt like he really listened to my specific needs and cared deeply for my recovery. Since having sessions with Jack my injury has improved greatly, with almost no pain, and I am getting back into dance! I feel much stronger. I will absolutely be visiting Jack again in the future, even if just for a check-up down the road. I came to see Jack with a couple injuries, one I'd had for years and the other was relatively new, both caused pain while working out.

I am currently seeing Jack for treatment on a torn meniscus. He is a fantastic professional, reassuring,friendly and very knowledgeable. I saw Jack in September for quite a painful injury to my shoulder/pectoral muscles that left me unable to even roll over in bed without wincing. Within a week of my first session with Jack and the exercises he gave the pain and inflammation had reduced. Within 2 sessions and a few weeks I was able to raise my shoulder again and start back on weights. Jack's exercises were easy to remember, perform and maintain consistently. I injured my hamstring and needed a physio urgently. I contacted Jack who gave me an appointment really quickly and helped me recover in no time. After that I started getting personal training sessions with him to get stronger in general. He was nothing but friendly, patient and very fun! He guided me in every step, offered me advice to train on my own and “engaged” me with the whole issue! Now I no longer live in London so sadly I cannot benefit from his support, but you need that extra push or help, contact Jack!

I first met Jack when we trained at the same weightlifting club and he was a student. We have remained friends since and now that I own Built Differently Gym I happily promote his service to my members as I know that not only is his knowledge exceptional, he is able to apply practicality which many others aren't. Coming from a sporting background allows Jack to relate better to a much wider range of people, body types, injuries and give personalised feedback as opposed to generic rehab exercises.
I will continue to use Jack myself for physio and sports massage - and I would never recommend a service or product that I'm not happy to use myself.

Im so grateful to Jack. When I first saw him last year my arthritic leg was causing me great problems. Walking up and down stairs was very difficult, and sometimes I found it hard to walk at all. Jack gave me a series of exercises though which gradually build up my strength so that walking is far less of a problem now and I can even do a light jog, which I hadn’t thought would be possible. At all times Jack has been very careful to ensure that I did not take things at too fast a pace. He is obviously very knowledgeable about his field. Jack is also very easy-going and pleasant to deal with. Thanks for everything Jack!

I saw Jack a month after injuring my ankle. I had a nasty sprain and an avulsion fracture. After a couple of sessions with Jack, my ankle began to feel much better and I soon became more confident going without any ankle support. He offered great direction during our sessions, and also shared lots of helpful videos and photo guides that I could use at home.

I went to see jack for physiotherapy after starting a weightlifting at the gym and uncovered some problems with my right leg and my posterior chain not functioning properly, along with some postural problems. Jack did a full assessment and then developed a program and techniques to engage muscles that were not firing and build areas that were weak. Physio Jack helped me get my strength and mobility back after a very bad shoulder dislocation whilst slipping from a rock.
Prior to sessions with Jack, I was given the option to get NHS physio sessions but sadly the sessions were not as frequent, I had to wait a few weeks and the sessions weren’t going to be as long as I got with Physio Jack. Sadly the NHS finances are lacking but luckily I was was about to do sessions with Jack.
Jack helped me get back to a level I was before the injury, in only a few weeks and mobility just about all back to normal now, despite the fracture specialist at the hospital telling me I may not ever be able to lift my arm up straight in the air as before.
I’m now back in the gym lifting weights.

Jack was great when I had a sore IT band that stopped me running 6 weeks before a marathon. He gave me exercises and stretches (and made sure I was doing them right!), looked at my running technique to give me some advice, and adapted my training programme (without stopping me running!). Four weeks on, the leg is better, the marathon is in 2 weeks - and I may even get my target time, fingers crossed!

Jack did a thorough assessment and told me exactly why I was getting shoulder pain. I had been training for some months for my first marathon. As the distances grew larger, I noticed I was having prolonged pain in my feet and legs, different to DOMS. Jack guided me on how to adapt my training to prevent further pain ensuring that my body had adequate time to rest and recover. He gave me specific exercises to do and also used advised on how to use sports tape to give my foot extra support. I have now just completed my first London Marathon :)

I called Jack on a long shot - did some desperate Googling on the Saturday afternoon of a bank holiday weekend, after getting sudden lower back pain. Waiting until Tuesday when everything would have re-opened would have been a nightmare.
