After struggling with my neck and shoulder for 3 years, and spending a fortune in regular physiotherapy, Martin helped me overcome my posture and chronic pain issues with his pioneering approach. It only took one visit to Martin's practice for him to understand and treat my issues. I can see and feel the benefits of his treatment immediately, I am stronger than ever. Martin is really friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I cannot recommend him and his approach enough.

I've known Martin for a couple of years and he is hands down the best physio I have had the pleasure of meeting in the UK. Very courteous, caring and knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond and has a deep understanding of the human body which goes beyond basic physiotherapy concepts in order to resolve the root cause of many chronic patterns of muscle dysfunction causing pain. I would recommend this gentleman to all my patients, he has helped me tremendously with my issues and continues to do so

Martin had manage to do what I thought was the impossible! I had seen numerous physiotherapists and specialists due to multiple locations of pain and dysfunction. But Martin was the first to recognise that my points of pain were related and hence needed a holistic, full body approach. As a result of Martin's treatments, I am now able to do activities, such as martial arts and gym training, which I haven't been able to do for around 10 years.

Martin cured my plantar fasciitis when no-one else could!
I had struggled with it during recovery from a stress fracture of my leg. A year of conventional treatment hadn't touched it and I was getting really sick of it.
Martin's approach is very holistic, looking at the function of the whole body. It might seem a bit strange, but it certainly works.
My plantar fasciitis has gone, and so have lots of other aches and pains I had in my back, neck and shoulders.
Highly recommended.

After 3 yrs of back problems and numerous visits to a chiropractors I actually went to see Martin about pains that had developed in my arms and shoulders. I could barely do the breast stroke they were that bad. Martins approach to treat me as a whole and not just my symptoms amazed me. Between my 1st and 2nd session the exercises I was given managed to cure my back and feel like it was back to "factory settings'. I could not believe how quick this happened! The arms and shoulders came after and now 6 sessions in I can honestly say my body feels 100%. So glad a friend recommended Matin to me and I would to anyone else. Thanks Martin!

Martin is the first out of several pyshios/chiros I have visited in recent years who within just a single session managed to shine more light on the issues I have experiences with bad posture than any of the other clinics I have previously visited put together. Martins approach stands in contrast to the usual physio streches or chiro manual therapy, in that he focuses first and foremost on the root cause of the dysfunction.

I had been around the 'medical merry go-round' for years with various recurring injuries- lower back & shoulder pain. Martin offered a different approach to treatment & I saw positive results immediately. Rather than looking at where I had pain, he focused on how my entire body works together, which was initially strange, but now I am completely pain free, so I can't recommend him enough. Excellent.

Martin Higgins is a miracle worker and the best physiotherapist I've ever come across. If you train hard, or are a professional athlete, Martin can help you achieve new levels of performance, whilst reducing the risk of injury. Thank you Martin!

Martin is a game changer. Twice now he has literally changed my life.
After twenty years of running, I was forced to stop due to hip pain. Two MRI scans failed to identify the problem and I genuinely believed that I would have the injury for life. My GP’s advice was to take up cycling as it looked like my running days were over.
Martin solved my problem by looking at my jaw. I had recently had a brace removed, which had changed my bite and given me a clicking jaw. He showed me how to manage this and explained how something seeming completely unrelated to your hip could indeed be the source of the problem. His diagnosis was correct. Not only did the pain disappear, I was able to run better and with more ease than ever before.
The second time I went to see him was to get help to strengthen the left side of my body. I had always been aware that my left side was considerably weaker than my right side (most people have this type of imbalance), but it had really started to hinder my training. I felt weak and unstable, no matter how much I tried to improve the imbalance with strength training.
After just one visit to his clinic, I went back to the gym the next day and tried to do something I have been trying to do for three years: to kick to a handstand using my left leg as the balancing leg and leading with my right leg. I succeeded in doing it on my very first attempt!
Press-ups now feel more equal, and I no longer feel like my right side is doing 70% of the work.
I do a lot of calisthenics and body movement type training, and, now that I have better balance and stability, I now feel I can continue to improve and achieve so much more.
Training is a very important part of my life and I cannot overemphasise how much Martin has helped me. I cannot recommend him enough.

Working with Martin was a great experience. I went to Martin as he was the only PRI specialist in the UK and I learnt a great deal to help with my performance and training. Martin has also followed up after the session and provided me with help and support beyond the initial session.

Martin is one of the best in the business, when it comes to treating the root-cause of injuries.
