The osteopathy treatment for my lower back has been amazing. Working to unlock the back muscles and return mobility Paige has worked wonders combined with suggested exercises and stretches to reinforce and build on the sessions. The pilates reformer classes are very well run and very challenging working to help my recovery and strengthen my body while adding flexibility. I can total recommend the classes run by Eva.

I first went to see Mary after my dodgy knees got injured playing sports. She's got me back running, cycling and playing korfball- would definitely recommend for sports injuries, and fixing things before they get worse! She set out a sensible and achievable programme taking into account what's realistic and what I wanted to prioritise in my activities. She also set out what I could do at home with body weight and the limited weights selection I have. I also didn't feel like she kept me coming back for the sake of it, rather she monitored my progress and checked in to make sure I was ok and effectively built up my strength.

After a rugby injury caused sciatica I booked in to see Aga, I was in tremendous pain which I described as 9/10, within 4/5 sessions I am pain free. Aga explained in detail exactly why the pain was there, how it was caused and more importantly how she was going to treat the injury, throughout each session her knowledge was amazing. Your own experience of ReCentre will depend on the type of treatment or therapist you come for (for me, a superb Osteopath), but the common elements are the helpful and professional team on reception and the pleasant, relaxed surroundings. For some therapies you may be able to block book a number of treatments in advance to reduce the cost per session. A few minutes walk from Tooting Bec tube or Balham tube/rail and on main bus routes (155, 355, 249), it's also close to a couple of decent cafes (Dee-Light, Joice) for a post-treatment cake and coffee.

Had a very bad sprain about 5 weeks back and this was recommended by the GP. So glad I went as I felt reassured, my ankle was looked at properly with care, and Nicola made me feel very confident with the next steps I should be taking to speed up the recovery. Had some acupuncture done, along with a very good massage to move the swelling around and then was given exercises to do at home. Best after injury advice I have been given in 5 weeks including three trips to the GP and two trips to A&E.

I was recently treated at Recentre for tennis elbow. The Physiotherapist was thoroughly professional and enjoyable to work with. He quickly identified the sources of the problem and gave me a series of exercises. I was better following three treatments and able to return to cycling and golf. Have had a few sports massages here - though I don't make it as often as I'd like! Usually from Audrey, also Joanne recently, both excellent and very knowledgeable, I say this as someone who did a sports science degree and has had many sports massages over the years. Highly recommended.

Only two sessions with Sally so far but am very happy and noticing differences. A holistic approach to my lower back pains, including talking about any emotional history that might be part of the problem. Had the most amazing experience at the reCentre. Started with a Reiki treatment with Melania and it was powerful. She is very good and intuitive too. Would recommend her to anyone and I will be having further treaments. Then I followed up with a facial with Elaine. This has got to be the most holistic facial I have ever experienced. Elaine worked the muscles and increased circulation leaving my skin glowing and my face looking relaxed. I slept very soundly after my time at the reCentre. And yes ladies I did get some blueberries later along with lots of water.

I had a deep tissue massage with Vagner who is also the Physio there. He really understood the muscle groups he was treating and as a result, and as painful as it was, I felt so much better afterwards. He checked in with me regularly to ensure I was ok and for any adjustments (although I didn’t need any).

I can't recommend this place enough! I went for a running assessment at reCentre-Health after a recurrent injury. At first, I was sceptical that they'd be able to deliver all that they promised within a single appointment. I couldn't have been more wrong. Toby was fantastic from start to finish, and, best of all, the drills that I took away have started to make a real difference to my running!

All the staff at the Centre are amazing, including the receptionists. I have had issues with my back and neck for many years but Paige and Shawna (physiotherapist) have really helped me to manage these in recent times. The physios have a sensitive, holistic approach, taking the time to talk to you at each appointment to see what has changed for you and discuss how to adjust your treatment to account for that. Cannot thank them enough. I have used the Centre for other people in my family, including my daughter. Aga is a brilliant at deep tissue massages too and has great expertise.

Samantha has treated me twice and both times she returned to fitness very quickly with no reoccurrence of injury. Prior to attending the ReCentre, I had 5 sessions of physio with another practice as well as an appointment with a specialist but both failed to deliver any meaningful recovery and misdiagnosed. After just one week of treatment and adherence to Samantha’s rehab plan I started to see significant improvements. I would highly recommend.

I have been to see Mary for two separate issues relating to my back and knee over the course of the past 12 months. Both times she has got to the root of the issue quickly and has been clear and concise with instructions on how to manage both injuries moving forward. The clinic is clean with great facilities and Mary is extremely professional but also very friendly and personable. Recentre have been great. Mary helped not only last year when I had a torn calf and got me back running but when I broke my ankle this year she's been brilliant. She's a firm but fair physio - making sure you don't slack off! Aga is also amazing for sports massages! Between the two of them they are getting me mobile again!

Very very happy with the treatment and advice I’ve received from recentre. Had a lower back injury going back years and frequently causing significant pain. Had a few great sessions with Mary to build strength and flexibility in my lower back and hips which helped a great deal. But was still having issues. In one consultation Mary recognised some, what she called “connective tissues symptoms” that’s she said could be treated by one of her colleagues Aga. The treatment by Aga, miyofacial (feel free to spell check!) is very specialised and incredibly interesting. Aga somehow traces lines on the body looking for particular pain spots that are a result of previous, sometimes very old injuries, and works them out. The treatment can be a little uncomfortable. But it’s so immediately obvious that she has found something under the surface that has been causing grief for some time. But once it’s gone, the increased flexibility through the removal of a significant restriction is obvious. Five sessions with Aga worked out about 20 or so of these issues and I feel great. Back with Mary for a few more session to continue work on strength and flexibility and I feel great. Training at the gym was restricted and generally going backwards, running was a no no… But now straight back into it and making good progress again… should have done it years ago… Thanks to both!!
