My visit to Chris Chesterman changed my life! For more than 1.5 years after an operation I had serious problems with walking and running. The German doctors who treated me didn't know what to do. A two hour visit to this practice not only yielded a diagnosis but also massive symptom relief. Chris was able to explain to me in a professional and friendly manner where my complaints come from and how they should be treated. The treatment was so successful that when I left the practice I had significantly less pain and my gait was significantly better than when I arrived. I have not been able to work for the past two years due to these problems, and now I can't wait to get back to my job. I have Chris’s treatment to thank for that! Went to see Chris after having some lower leg pain from running. He not only did stretching and soft tissue work but also analysed my balance and stance to get to the root of the problem, and gave me exercises to do that would help keep it under control. The follow up exercise sheets he provides are also a really great addition to the in-person treatment. Got a bad calf injury while running and had to walk home. On a friend's recommendation (whose shoulder Chris fixed in one session) visited Chris for a sports massage session in October 2019 in the hope to get it fixed. Followed his advice...took a break from running, but Chris said I could bicycle/swim so did both of these...another visit in November and I was back to my best. You don’t have to be young or fit to benefit from Chris’s targeted treatment. I’m 68 and not particularly fit and was in a lot of pain walking and climbing stairs. Chris worked on the individual muscles and made things a lot better even after one session and it’s improving with each session. I’m very lucky to have found him.

Having suffered for around two years with ever worsening headaches, I decided to try Sports Massage. I thought it could help the muscular component of the pain. After much research, I found Chris and felt he might do the trick. I have had three sessions with him (so far) and what a difference! The headaches began to improve after the first session. Just before my third session, a migraine element to my headaches, was diagnosed. The massage sessions were vital in my current situation of being just about headache free. I am able to sleep horizontally again. Before I had my first session, I was sleeping in the sitting position (not very easy at all). Just after the second one, I could sleep horizontally again. In short, I recommend Chris wholeheartedly and his prices are reasonable too.
