N. G.Visited Pizza Punks for the first time and the pizza was very fresh and tasted very close to a wood fired pizza.
I was really pleased by the experience in the place and even the starters the place offers are amazing.
Definitely recommended if you're in Belfast city centre.
Please note that it's very hard to get a seat in here so if you're planning to go there then plan it well in advance and have it booked or you'd most likely not be getting in.
M. J.Awesome restaurant from the name to the neon signs plastered throughout. Really good pizza spot that has create your own pizza styles or regular preingrediented pizza that you can choose. You can load all the topping you want onto the pizza for one price and it is relative cheap! Super tasty and the wings are good too. They come decorated with ranch and celery pieces served in a skillet bowl. Try this place out of you are looking to get some good pizza!
L. A.I really, really enjoyed this place! It was funky, clean, the staff were friendly but most importantly, the food was amazing! Really awesome starter and the option of having AS MANY TOPPINGS AS YOU LIKE all for the same price, blew me away! All of the ingredients were fresh and the pizza base itself was light, crispy but soft where it needed to be... the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we were waiting a really long time for our food... there was a large party in there too, but it was just them and a couple of others... made me question what it would be like if it was actually heaving??? It was a Sunday though and they were also doing Deliveroo orders I think... but still, when the food eventually came, it was delish! Oh and the vegan doughballs were out of this world! 🤤
P. L.Pizza punks never fails to disappoint! We went here on a busy Friday at 5:30 PM - we had a reservation - a member of staff met us right away and had a table ready for us very quickly, we ordered two mains and 4 cocktails - the mains were 10/10. Pizzas were fresh and delicious! :) Our cocktails were a solid 9/10 - v v strong and sweet so we were delighted! The crushed ice made it hard to get the essential last sips! But apart from that we were v satisfied! When paying up we were happy with the bill! And the waiting staff were also warm and friendly! Will be back again! :D
M. M.Great pizza, even gluten free. Does not disappoint and the price isn’t bad either. They’ve done some different spins on old flavours and they have knocked it out of the park.
O. D.The vegan food was super delicious. We had the doughballs, mac‘n‘chess and a Pizza. The stuff was also very nice. Just one thing: I ordered a Pepsi max in a glass and got a can with a straw. It would be more sustainable to bring a glass instead of a straw to the can, if there are only cans available.

Husband loved the fact he could have vegan mozzarella and said it was one of the best pizzas he'd ever had. Staff were friendly too. Planning our next trip to the Leicester one.
I. D.The food was fantastic. A good idea to make pizza a lot more innovative realised with excellent quality ingredients. My daughter had been before and a few items were no longer on the menu, so perhaps we are not quite as experimental as the original menu hoped lol. There is still Carbonara or Cheeseburger pizza there though so lots to try. Not quite 5 stars, service was not poor but nor was it 5 stars, quite a wait for food too. However that can all be forgiven for the caramel Biscoff pizza, no way I could eat it all but just as good as it sounds!
T. G.This is a must visit location! I strongly advise to book a table in advance as it was very popular when we arrived. The staff were great, the atmosphere was fantastic and pizza's were amazing. Being able to simply and easily create your own pizza was great for my partner and I but if you're not feeling so creative they had a good selection of classics on the menu as well as some appealing sides. The cocktail menu suited us perfectly with a great choice of fun cocktails to match the theme of the restaurant and add to the overall experience. I would highly recommend Pizza Punks to anyone visiting Belfast. We can't wait to come back!

I had v mac and cheese pasta side (needed a bit more seasoning, onion salt and herbs maybe) and the v meatball/pepperoni pizza with unlimited fresh toppings. Everything tastes fresh. Really reminded me of comfort food back when I ate meat/dairy. So good. Top of the game as far as vegan comfort food in Belfast. 😍

S.Had the most amazing pizzas here. We stopped at so many restaurants and pubs looking to eat late on a Sunday and we got in to Pizza Punks and I'm so glad we did. You can create your own pizza for £11 or there's a great choice of other pizzas. See photos for breakfast pizza, fondue pizza, and one I created.

Pizzas ranged from perfect to burnt bottom.
They have amazing selection for vegetarians looking for something new and different but poor at executing it.
Drinks menu is extremely expensive, so I wouldn't make plans to stay here long after your food.
Staff response isn't great, we asked water for all on the first time we got served, it took them about 30 minutes to bring it after the food and alcohol got served.

Our waiter Michael was so so lovely and we had great chat and he provided excellent service. Beth was also great and very attentive.

G. K.First visit, the pizzas were good and got a great coffee cocktail. We had a booking and got seated quickly enough. It was busy and we had to wait ages for our drinks but our pizzas followed quickly after. We noticed alot of people having to wait a long time, a table of 5 guys next to us left after 75 minutes as they still hadn't been served. The table next to them gave up waiting on their dessert order and got agitated that it took so long to pay. Alot of orders seemed to be getting muddled up too. We ordered dessert, waited 25 mins for the additional drink to be served and have to admit when the dessert came we would recommend skipping it! The bacon crème brulee is just a crème brulee with bacon randomly on the side of the plate. We also then waited ages for the bill despite 3 staff members standing behind us polishing cutlery so had to just get up and go to interrupt then to ask to pay for the second time. All in all we would go back for the pizza but don't go ere if you have somewhere to be after. Also think they were serving so many takeaway pizzas yet the customers in store couldn't get served on a timely manner so maybe this could betaken into consideration.

Ordered food, came out about 15 mins later, food was great, ordered the messy mexican, bloody hot so watch out. We ordered some dips which never came but hey.

This spot delivers on what you expect, good food and an edgy atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient.
Restaurant is quite lively (i.e. loud) so if you’re looking for a quiet spot then maybe avoid this one. However if you’re looking for somewhere with a bit of attitude and some dam good pizza then Pizza Punks is the one.

The food arrived quicker than I thought it would considering how busy it was and if you ask for anything different or forgot to order something, they are more than helpful to sort it for you. Service was a bit touch and go but it was very busy and the staff where ran off there feet.I think if they had a one or two more floor staff on they would be even more efficient. It was a little loud, nearly to the extent of having to shout across the table to talk to person with me, this is one of the reasons I didn't give it a five star!
Overall the food is great, the staff are helpful with a smile, the decor is cool and funky but it's just a little loud and hard to get the staffs attention.

Massive shoutout to Cara our wonderful waitress who went above and beyond with the service and chit chat tonight! To Cathal for the most welcoming of introductions. He took the courtesy to show my Gf the allergens booklet because she's Coeliac and we were so impressed by this! Finally to Simon the chef for making the most incredible Vegan mozzarella I have ever had. Pizza Punks have set the bar, reigning supreme over other Pizza restaurants and we will definitely be back!

A massive choice of toppings to pick from, as MANY as you want, all the same price, including different base sauces, cheeses, and things like pepperoni, ham, peppers, pineapple, right through to chicken tikka, Guinness beef brisket and Red Stripe chicken. Wide range for the vegetarians too, can't decide then go with the staff's favourites. The service is super quick considering it is made to order and always busy. Suggest booking at busy times. J. C.First time visiting and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The candied bacon starter/side is delicious and I followed that up with a salt and chilli chicken pizza. Not sure what genius came up with the idea of putting my favourite Chinese dish onto a pizza, but he/she deserves a round of applause!
Everything was reasonably priced. 4 or 5 years ago I'd have choked on my pint if I was charged a fiver for it, but that's pretty standard in Belfast City centre now so no complaints.
Service was good if a little slow, but they were very busy.

D. P.As the name suggests it's pizza and nothing else. Five of us ate and all had different pizzas. Four of us created our own and one had the Mexican pizza from the "set menu". The bases were good but the toppings on mine just seemed to be thrown on and were indistinguishable from each other. Maybe just down to the choice of toppings. All the others enjoyed theirs. No coffee served. All in all ok but certainly not as good as other reviewers experienced in my opinion

M.The food was so tasty and the cocktails were beautiful but unfortunately the service wasn’t the best- I’m not one to write reviews but I was disappointed, we sat outside, so maybe if we sat inside the service would have been better. We waited half an hour to order drinks every time, we left early since no one came out to take our drink order, there was no one outside keeping an eye on things, we coulda just left without paying. Obviously we didn’t since i work in hospitality myself. I was just super disappointed 😬

Toppings were lovely - I opted for the hot punk as in danger of overtopping and thought it wouldn't taste "right" with everything I wanted 😆 Second best Bellini I've ever had (the first being across the road at the Merchant 👌) BUT that freakshake. Unreal. Not choc sauce on the sides of the class. Choc buttercream. Game changer. The staff were also fantastic & just had a v nice pre night out kind of vibe.

S. G.Highly Reccomend Pizza Punks Belfast. They let us in on a last minute booking and were so friendly and helpful. I am a Coeliac and they ensured that all of my food was gluten free and double checked everything on their dietary chart to be 100% sure. I had the nicest gluten free pizza I have ever had- the messy mexican. It was super tasty and didnt taste specifically "gluten free" at all which is what you want! Every ingredient on the pizza tasted super fresh. It was also the same size as the normal pizzas which is a plus as gluten free pizza bases are usually a lot smaller!
The "make your own pizza" option let's you choose unlimited toppings which is the best thing ever (except it just makes it harder to choose what to get from the amazing menu!!) 11/10 rating. If you're in Belfast and like pizza, and especially if you are eating Gluten free, give this place a go!

A. O.Went there on Saturday night and they kindly took us without a prior booking. Staff were lovely and Michael in particular was great craic and was very kind and accommodating. Drinks were amazing and pizza was fab! Tables were spaced out well and there was plenty of hand sanitiser available and toilets were very clean. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to everyone!

Only issue I had is when I called to book table the experience wasn't good for example the lady answered with just her name and did not say anything about Pizza Punks so I had to ask if this was Pizza Punks to make sure. A small thing I know but hey always room for improvement.
C. B.Really out of this world selection of toppings from the usual to the most outlandish. I like my toppings so love the flat rate across the pizzas. The blue cheese and the garlic dips are so delicious that you won't even care about your funky breath. The cocktail menu is great and different but does lack some staples which was a bit if let down. My first visit when PP opened was really poor as the staff seemed to forget about us entirely over an hour while serving people around us and this was after us waiting on someone to take our drinks order for 25 minutes. I forgave this somewhat when the food eventually did arrive and was incredible. I have been a few times since and while the food has remained at a high level the service has been routinely poor. Everyone is always polite and friendly but the staff really seem to dodge eye contact when you are trying to catch someone to order or get the bill which often leaves you waiting for long periods while flailing your arms about yo get someone's attention. (Not even really a review point but the bathrooms are entirely self-contained and yet are still gendered. This seems redundant.)
D. M.Very impressed by my first time at pizza punks. The base is the same as a Neapolitan pizza base. Absolutely incredible. The sauce and cheese are good. There are many many toppings to choose from - many more than any other pizza restaurant. There is no limit to the number of toppings you can have on your pizza. There are many vegetarian and vegan toppings. The price is very good. This is now my favourite pizza restaurant. I highly recommend you try it out.

A. W.If you're looking for a great pizza in a casual setting this is it. The pizza and the variety of toppings is reasonably priced and quirky and very tasty, no complaints! The girl who served us, Yasmin, was lovely, prompt service and when we had been waiting a while on our ice cream she was straight out to the kitchen to sort it out. And the ice cream was also lovely!
Would say the drink is overpriced - but then again everywhere is in that area - but the red wine was very nice. The tables are a bit uncomfortable, small for 4 and felt a bit cramped. Also HATE the way the toilet door is open top and bottom in the middle of a corridor!! Staff walking back and forth when you're trying to pee is very off putting!

P. O.Just OK. Lots of weird and wonderful toppings and good service but dont seem to get the basics right. Wayyyyy too much cheese and it wasn't nice blobs of mozarella like I was expecting, rather grated dried mozarella. This impacts the cooking of the base, moistens it and totally dominates the tomato sauce. Crusts had good flavour but were not crispy on the outside and lacked aeration making them a bit chewy and not actually that enjoyable. Not for Pizza purists...

He also said management have received lots of complaints from staff about this. The only downside was the service which managed to overshadow the great food. Our server was quite rude and inattentive. Our food and drinks order was taken fine, however trying to get his attention to order more drinks, sides and then eventually pay the bill was almost impossible. When we had ordered a second drink and it hadn't come after about 5-10 minutes we eventually got his attention and reminded him we had ordered a drink. Without apology or offering to check on it he just said yeah it's been ordered. Getting the bill took about 10 minutes of trying to get his attention before just going to the till and asking another server. All in all a good food experience but the service would definitely make me think twice before returning, and I wouldn't even consider it if I had somewhere to be after.

It's rare you stumble upon such a class place to eat literally on your doorstep when your not familiar with a city. We all raved about how devine the pizzas were. The whole decor music and food all has a nice vibe and feel to it. Was a Sat evening and the staff told us there would be a wait but tbh we got a table very quick and the service was very prompt....cant wait to return next time in Belfast.

Overall I wasn't overly impressed or disappointed - good points were the staff seemed dead on & friendly, the atmosphere was really chilled, decor is unique & unlike anywhere else. Service wasn't amazing - our starter plates were cleared from the table while I was still eating away (this might not bother many people but personally it grinds my gears a bit). Wee things that make great service were overlooked. Aside from that the food was decent. We chose off the Christmas menu as it was our Christmas night out. As a vegan there was only one option for me, which is no problem, but it was very carb heavy & there were no veggies at all on the pizza to add a bit of freshness. It was all very stodgy & heavy & not a great start to a night out lol all that aside I don't think it's fair to judge the place on this menu when they offer so much more so I will be back to create my own & give them a fair shot 👍🙂

J. B.Bit hit and miss. Went two days in a row (I know, sad but was close to hotel and easy). First night great service (it was quiet), second night (was busy), couldn't get arrested. Dining solo and pretty much ignored, would have had another beer or two if a waiter had passed by. And if they hadn't run out of the beer I had the first night. (And my first choice the first night was a "we don't sell that one anymore". Really? Then re-print your menus, they were getting pretty tatty anyway.
Pizzas pretty good, better than most chains (eg nearby Pizza Express) but not quite up to the best (Flour & Ash in Bristol if you ask).
So four stars in average; four first night, three second (averaged up to four, giving them the benefit of the doubt).

Pizza Punk's highly customisable menu means that there is truly, genuinely something for everyone. I know this for a fact, because it's a common date spot for me. What better way to get to know someone than a discussion of pizza toppings? You can weigh up the benefits of being carnivorous or vegan, and have the important 'pineapple on pizza' discussion, but most importantly you guys can explore each others personality over any particularly strange topping choices, of which there are many.
I've had good dates there but I have also had bad dates. Dates where you gather your bearings after an hour and decide it best to leave. She didn't laugh at your joke about Brussels. You did an over-eager impression of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Her favourite artist was Arcade Fire. You go home, holding back tears. Will I ever find anyone who makes me feel the way she did? Luckily I was able to bring the pizza with me to eat at home whilst ugly crying to season 2 of The Office. Why can't I find the Pam to my Jim? Variety is truly the spice of life and my wide variety of date experiences has secured Pizza Punks as an excellent spot to find your special someone.
Eating their pizza makes me feel like she is holding my hand once again. Great music and welcoming service.
