u.This was the best night ever. Saturday night is dj night. We had amazing food , amazing service and a good old dance in the isles. Honestly you have to go. The waitresses were such fun. The owner a bundle of fun. We will be back omg yes we will!!!!!!!
s. j.Tried out this place last week as one of our local Italian restaurants. We were greeted by the lovely waitress whom continued to provide excellent customer service throughout our meal. We had a pizza and the chicken special, which were both lovely however the chicken was slightly dry. The homemade cheesecake and brownie we had for dessert were absolutely Devine and overall the meal was reasonably priced. We will definitely be back, thank you!
J. C.We booked for a family meal of 6 for a joint 80th and 8 year old birthday party. We ate outside, undercover which kept everyone in our party happy in the pandemic. There were heaters, but these weren’t needed (but offered) in early August. We’re well travelled and a bit demanding about what we eat, so I was careful about where I booked for this special double birthday. Thankfully the food (and drink) was fantastic and delighted everyone. The pizzas were thin and crispy and delicious. Pasta fresh and tasty. Deserts hit the spot. The service and hospitality was superb and our children (8 and 9) were made to feel welcome and well cared for. The restaurant looked after us so well (especially my son) and the team went way, way above and beyond. If you are thinking of eating here… do it, you won’t regret it! I will be back when next in the Midlands.

S. E.I visited this delightful restaurant over a month ago for a meal and some drinks, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and I enjoyed the drinks alongside it. The waitress was excellent and welcoming. I was talking to Fran the waitress about my upcoming wedding, and a few minutes later she came back with complimentary prosecco for me & my family to congratulate me for my upcoming nuptials. I thought this was a lovely gesture and I definitely look forward to visiting this restaurant in the near future.
S. H.We went here last night for a meal! The food was amazing! I had the chicken special which was really great! They were very accommodating to my allergies. We did ask one waitress why she didn’t have a face mask on but she has health conditions and showed us her inhaler.
I must add there was a very loud table in the restaurant who were rude to them. Including language which we didn’t appreciate having our kids with us.
We felt very well looked after and would definitely return! Thanks for a lovely meal!

M. C.2nd time here was as excellent as the first, our starters of insalata caprese and prawn gamberone (best starter ever according to the hubby) were outstanding. We ordered 2 kids and one adult pizza they were all the same very generous size so none were finished although there were all delicious. Staff were happy to box them up for take away. Hubby had the arrabiata, again delicious. Staff were warm welcoming and friendly throughout, giving additional attention to the kids and their gelatos went down a storm! We've all agreed a monthly visit is needed for this beautiful Italian restaurant 😍😍
L. p.Visited La Romana last night, what a fabulous place - made to feel very welcome and loved the outside seating area. Food was fantastic, the garlic pizza bread in particular was stunning.
Very reasonably priced too , we will definitely be regulars .....

We didn't want to leave, but felt we should let others experience the authentic Italian menu, so eventually went home. They even taught us some Italian phrases!
So we would recommend La Romana to everyone, but please don't all go at once or there won't be room for us...

All the ingredients are top notch from the san marzano sauce to the artichokes, ham, salami and n'djua....Thank you La Romana...can't wait to join you for a bottle of wine, arincini and pizza when this madness ends!

La atención excelente, el personal muy amable y atento! La comida con el verdadero sabor italiano, la pizza estaba buena, la pasta estaba buena, la verdadera estrella de la noche fue sin duda el Cannoli, recien hechos, la textura perfecta y el relleno inmejorable, definitivamente el mejor que he probado en Birmingham.
