Tasha and the rest of the staff were absolutely outstanding, I arrived with 3 kids who desperately needed entertaining and the staff really liked after them, this was my girls first visit to a Pizza punks and it really was first class, nice clean and pretty cool venue, good was delicious but the thing that really made the experience was the staff! Well done all, we'll definitely be back!!

Brand new to durham we thought we’d try it before cinema. We received a warm welcome the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. We both went for a macaroni side dish and pizza and although there was a slight mix up it wasn’t a problem. Whilst my pizza was cooked to perfection my partner felt her’s was burnt underneath. We didn’t bother with dessert but both had a well made cocktail. Prices were at the high end. The menu does need work as it’s not clear and lacks choice. It was opening day and will hopefully improve

A slightly mixed review. Mostly positive but also some negative. Upon arriving we were greeted almost instantly and seated promptly as we had a booking reservation. We had literally just sat down and within 5 seconds were asked what we'd like to drink. We hadn't even had time to browse the drinks, or even pick the drinks menu up. Once we had time to browse the cocktails etc, we were waiting around 7/8 minutes before somebody came and took our drinks order, by that time we had already chosen our meals and placed our meal order at the same time as the drinks. The meals took around 30 minutes to arrive and I had noticed that people who were seated before us, must have been waiting around about the same amount of time for their order to arrive. The cocktails were delicious and worth the money that we had paid for them. If you're wanting a quick bite to eat before visiting the Odeon next door then this place probably isn't the best choice for that. After eating we waited around another 7/8 minutes before paying our bill. We were sat down at around 4:50 and left around 6:00pm before our movie started at 6:15. So you can imagine if it's a larger table than two, you're probably in for an increased wait time. The pizzas themselves were absolutely fantastic. Very delicious, not salty at all and full of flavour. I did notice that on the standard pizza menu you get fresh basil on the pepperoni pizza, but basil is not available on the CYO menu. I did ask if I could have basil on top of my CYO pizza but they either forgot it, or didn't do it as it didn't arrive with any basil on top. Not a huge disappointment but it would have been nice to have it on. Mostly positive things but only a few minor things that let it down. But, only slightly. I'll definitely be returning or having an order delivered home as it has not put me off!

Visiting Durham and enjoyed a lovely meal here! Lovely and welcoming staff. Amazing pizza and a great selection of plant based/vegan options for my friend! Highly recommend!

Nice restaurant. Love the way you can ask for exactly what you want on your pizza or pasta with unlimited ingredients from the list on the menu. I had a pasta dish, with the creamy white sauce and chose what I wanted adding. It was delicious, the only down side was the dish was quite small and could have done with some more! Hence why I've only given 4 stars. Will definitely return and would recommend to friends and family. P.S. make the bowls slightly bigger 😁

Cracking place to take the kids. Lovely welcoming staff, great music and reasonably priced food. We've had really bad experiences with Turtle Bay next door so really thankful to find this place for the kids!

Great service with a smile and tasty food to boot. Ryan behind the bar kept the booze coming and Jessica the waitress had just the right level of customer service with a smile which we appreciated. Great hand made pizzas so a well done to the chef's, and the starter was lush. Even the background music was perfect from our era, it's the little things. We recommend this restaurant.

We had a group booking last night prior to going out. We were seated straight away and as there was a small child crayons etc brought over to entertain. Service was quick and whilst waiting Charlie who was serving us came over and gave the kids pizzas to make to entertain them at no additional charge, this was a great little entertainer for them whilst waiting for their food to arrive. Food was lovely, everyone enjoyed their meal, will definitely be back. Overall great service, great food and great little entertainer for kids 👌

The food is great, my pizza had close to everything on it as they offer a make your own pizza with no maximum number of toppings. there is a good vegetarian selection also and the staff were friendly and efficient. My only issue is that they put a service charge on to the bill. this was less than I was planning on leaving as a tip so they did themselves out of a payment but adding 10-15% on at the end just came off as cheeky. The staff were friendly but the service was nothing special. If the food was more expensive and the staff were paid out of that, again I would have no problem as it was nice but adding it on after took the tip option away from the consumer and could reward even bad service

Positive: Nice location, fantastic pizzas and great cocktails/mocktails. Kids loved it. Negative: Had to wait for more than 1 hour for our pizzas on one occasion without anybody mentioning that there is such a delay.

Great visit here with the wife.just had quick pizza and drink cos going to Gala theatre. plenty of vegetarian options for us so really pleased! quick service too considering it was full. STAFF ARE SUPERB!!!!!! polite/friendly etc etc......really impressed with the staff. only 'disappointment' I really, REALLY want one of those staff Pizza Punks T shirts!!

We went to Pizza Punks only a couple of days after it opened and we were not disappointed. We focused on the main event and ordered a sourdough pizza each with our own customised topics. Overall? Delicious, will definitely be going back for the food as well as the welcoming staff. We also had a couple of cocktails each were admittedly quite pricey, but were very tasty. Definitely recommend!

I'll be fair. The food was tasty, but it took more than 1h for 3 pizzas to be served to us. During all the time that we were there, not even once the waitresses came to ask whether we needed anything or to apologize for the delay. In all fairness, it was bank holiday, but the place was not full. I don't blame the staff, the problem is more likely related to poor management and under staffing. Not the best of experiences

My pizza was OK as I used the create your own option, arrived without jalapeños which I had ordered, must of forgot to add them was the reply. Wife ordered mushroom pizza which is like a garlic bread and has potato as part of the topping?..weird. The main problem is a lot of young serving staff which meant mistakes happened such as forgetting to process my order so I was waiting quite a while. Prices for drinks on the high end and it felt like there was a commission scheme to upsell drinks.

Me and my boyfriend booked a table for lunch here. The booking process was very easy online with plenty of availability. Our server, Chloe S, was incredibly friendly and chatty, and explained everything to us as it was our first time dining there. My boyfriend had the passionfruit and coconut soda, buffalo chicken wings, and create your own pizza. I had a soft drink, antipasti (which honestly was quite expensive for what it was), and create your own pizza. The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money since the price doesn't increase with the amount of toppings! The only criticism that we had was the spice in some of the ingredients - the menu specifies which items are spicy with a chilli symbol, but they are not specified in the create your own section. The buffalo wings and the pepperoni were incredibly spicy. Overall it was really good and would definitely go again.

Best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had and the staff were great. Emily C and D get a shoutout for great service. They have a good allergy index as well so you can check individual ingredients. 10/10 would pizza again.

Myself, wife and kids where unsure of where to eat before the cinema, we were met outside by Charlie (I think) and she convinced us to come in as they had what the kids were looking for. I've been in the licence trade for over 25 years so I understand and appreciate the value of good service and the service and food were excellent. Thanks!
