Absolutely superb! If you want incredible NY style pizza wither by the slice or as a full pizza this place is awesome. The ingredients are top quality, dough is freshly made and stretched properly (not rolled!!), the staff are friendly and have a real passion for the food and the atmosphere is super cool. Check out the Grandma's Sicilian style slice for something different, truly brilliant!

Best vegan pizza I’ve had. We had a whole 20 inch Vegan Polpette and the cheese was incredible - not like any vegan cheese I’ve had on pizza before. Texture and consistency were spot on, stayed wet in the oven without crisping or drying out, melted well but was never ‘gluey’ like vegan cheese can get. Flavour was close to mozzarella and tasted great when cold too. The meat alternative on the top was really tasty and had lots of flavour with a really lovely texture. Service was fast and really good, food and drinks came out quickly and there was a great atmosphere inside. Was nice to see how busy they were on a Monday night as they clearly deserve it. So good we went back the next day and tried a vegan version of their Margherita which was perfect and simple, again the cheese was a huge winner. Three vegan options on the menu which was great to see from a non-vegan restaurant, would be amazing to see this expanded as they’ve clearly nailed the meat and cheese and would love to see how they can experiment further!

Very good food. Fast and well made. Mind that you will not get cutlery or glass plates, and it can get messy with the sauce 😅 Therefore I recomend takeaway, don't sit in. (Also seemed like most people ordered takeaway as they had put up a big table in the middle of the restaurant where couriers collected food thought our stay.) Amazing pizza and fantastic service! We ordered 4 pizzas through Uber Eats and only received 3 - when I phoned the restaurant they were so helpful and offered us free pizza with our next order, despite the missing pizza not being their fault. Would definitely recommend ordering directly from Civerinos! We've tried magic mushroom, polar pear and Scarface - all delicious! Definitely my go to pizza place from now on.

Great place, amazing value for money especially if you get a pizza to share with friends. Slices are HUGE. I was fairly full in 2. One of my smallest friends managed 4 and we were all shocked. I was fairly iffy about the actual pizza topping at first because a lot of them seemed to have one weird ingredient or the other. Ended up with silence of the lambs, I hate peas and sweet potatoes or yogurt sounded weird but it ended up tasting amazing. I even had the peas. Also, I hear they do all you can eat slices 9pm to 11pm Monday to Thursday plus a pint all for 10 pounds. Absolutely steal.

Was craving pizza all day and after a quick google discovered this place! I got the vegan meatball slice and a side of fried and didn’t quite realise how big one slice was going to be! 🍕 The slice came and it was bigger than my head 😂 The pizza tasted amazing and the fries seemed endless ( not that I was complaining ) My only regret was not getting any other flavours but I honestly was full to the brim by the time I finished the one, definitely want to visit again in the future!

Me and my son tried this for the first time. We ordered the Caprese Bomb pizza and the cheesy philly chips. Wowsers!! It was totally amazing and definitely the bestest pizza we have had in a long time and the chips were outstanding. Have to also mention that the service - front of house was first class too. Delicious pizza, one quarter slice is pretty huge and even the hungriest would likely be satisfied after two. The dough is thin but a bit chewy, a nice sourdough, and the toppings are generous. They serve a limited amount of American style deepdish also. Service was super snappy and relaxed, it was great to drop in for a quick lunch.

Although I consider that it was a good approach to Italian pizza and maybe could stand out properly in Edinburgh as a choice for pizza, mine experience unfortunately was a little awkward as the dough was overbaked and this had an effect on the taste i am afraid. If you're in the area or at the university, I'd recommend trying this place for lunch. The prices are reasonable, there's a ton of variety and it's very fast food.

Simple, down-to-earth pizza bar that provides tasty slices of pizza quickly and at a reasonable price. Very quick service both for sit in and take away. Love that the wine list is short (red, white) and comes in a tumbler – no need to be fancy! But don't get me wrong, the cool lights and tiles make it a cool place to chill for a quick bite to eat.

If you're looking for New York style pizza in the UK, this is it. The crust is thin, yet firm and foldable. They use their own sugo sauce (cooked down tomatoes) instead of tomato paste, and along with mozzarella they also use a very tasty burrata cheese on some on their pies. Toppings are tasty and plentiful - just enough but not coating the pizza so you can taste the sauce and crust. Staff was very friendly, quick and knowledgeable. Prices were good. And while inside seating can be a little tight, outside at one of their tables is the perfect place to have a couple of slices and settle in with a book or people watch. Will definitely be back when I return to the city.

Sister restaurant to Civerino's off the mile, Civerino's slice is great when you don't want the full pie. The slices are very generous in size and they have a variety of flavours, some that they rotate. The classic pepperoni is excellent. A little spicy and delicious. If you're with friends or feeling a little hungrier, you can also order 22' pizzas. A decent amount of seating inside and outside.

As a big fan of the Civerinos on Hunter Square, I was really excited at this new branch opening right near my work. Unfortunately, the quality just isn't there for the price. £4,25 for a slice of pepperoni pizza which tasted like it'd been out for while before I ordered isn't the value I associate with their sister shop. Oh and don't order on a rainy day, the plate I got did little to avoid my slice being soaked on the walk back. Stick to the main branch, it's far better and you won't be ordered from staff member to staff member.

Pros: Very good pizza Cons: Only on the second attempt. Ordered two slices one of which arrived the heavily burned but concealed beneath the other. Watched them rearrange the box contents to deliberately hide this before serving and when raised with the server they offered no apology or explanation but did immediately take away the slice and ask the kitchen for another.

Where to start...i happened across Civerinos randomly and decided to venture in. Thank god I did. I don't know if it was their monstrous gas (?) Pizza oven which can house 20" pizzas or their excellent customer service, but these guys know their pies. After a few trips here I can safely say they are pizza perfectionists, crust connoiseurs and select their toppings carefully, delivering a mouth watering range of both meaty and veggie/vegan pizzas. As if to further cement its solid foundation, their side dishes are nothing to scoff at, but rather excellently compliment the main attraction. I highly recommend visiting one of their 3 shops and hope you will enjoy their creations as much as I have.
