Reviews of Cafe Antipasti Restaurant

This place was exactly what we needed after a long day and bad travel experience. We picked this restaurant from the reviews and walked from the hotel. It did not disappoint! I'm usually not big on carb-heavy Italian food but this place knows how to do the cuisine right. Great flavors, portions, service, and prices. Excellent wine list and desserts, too.

Stopped on for a later evening dinner, and was treated to a wonderful table, amazing food, pleasant staff and excellent atmosphere. The food was hot, fresh, tasty and extremely flavourful. Do yourself a favour and make this a stop in.

Antipasti always has a big portion of food so don't exaggerate your eating! Last time I couldn't finish the starter lol. This time I tried the pre theatre menu which was very reasonable! I had a linguine with chicken breast, mushroom, spinach in cream sauce. It was great but the pasta was not linguine but spaghetti. The steak and chips were amazing too! Highly recommend. Enjoyable to have a dinner before going to watch Mamamia in the king's theatre.

I had an amazing time there The food was affordable as while and delicious especially the starter but I didn’t like their burger the taste was a little off the bread they use didn’t give that satisfying burger taste

This is the most welcoming Italian restaurant I visited on my trip to Glasgow. Lovely staff, really good food and very quick service.
Two courses and beers came in at less than £20 and the food was lush. Recommend the pesto linguine or the mushroom risotto.
So good I came back twice.

This place never fails to deliver a no nonsense but tasty selection at very reasonable prices. It is our go to Italian before a night at the Kings Theatre and will continue to be so while it delivers good food in a nice warm atmosphere.

Just had possibly the best mussels and fries I’ve ever eaten. The best big fat Scottish mussels cooked with white wine, a little cream and a tiny hint of garlic until perfectly done. My only problem was I couldn’t eat them all. Good service, reasonably priced.

Very good. They have barriers between the tables a process they keep to, all very good and positive. The bills for a few drinks 4 mains and a pud was £60.
Waitress could not have done more.
Very good, would recommend for a quick bite.

Bowl of house olives to start. Seafood linguine next. Finished off with house cheesecake and decaf coffee. Well pleased.
Ambiance, that elusive elixir, was just right smart, but not too fancy. Staff nice, service quick. Price fair.
5 stars, thank you.
