Authentic Italian at its best. An excellent lunch menu choice at a reasonable price. Service was excellent and we could see from the locals that it is a popular spot. My group had a selection of pastas and a calzone pizza, all top notch. We all had desserts - and the apple pie, Mamma Mia! Highly recommend.

I really have to be in the mood for Italian food and this restaurant didn't disappoint. The food was simply delicious. Had stuffed mushrooms to start, Lasagne (struggled to finish as a big serving) Still managed to share tiramisu for afters!! Lovely staff and reasonably priced.

We had planned heading back nearer home for food after our trip to Inflata Nation for our son’s birthday day out (mum, dad and two boys). We were all so hungry and after a check of the local area decided to go to La Fiorentina as it looked and smelled so appealing. We were not disappointed, what a place! From the minute we walked in (rather underdressed tbh) we were made feel so welcome, the staff so friendly and seated us at a lovely table near the door. The first thing you notice in La Fiorentina is the intimate dining area which is not uncomfortable but very homely. Then onto the food which is presented on a clear and varied menu. We ended up going for a set early evening menu in which we were spoilt for choice. Everything was warm, flavourful, expertly cooked and delicious. I like to try something different on occasions like this and I have to single out my risotto ai porcini, something I would never normally order but oh my goodness it was bellissimo!! The whole family left with full belly’s and warm hearts at finding this absolute gem of a spot to eat, I don’t write many reviews of places I go to but have written this as soon as I got home, can’t wait for our next trip to this area again as La Fiorentina will definitely be in the itinerary plan for our trip there. Thank you so much for a beautiful meal!!

Had been quite a whilst since I had last visited La Fiotentina but once again the service & standard of food was top class. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff , dining with my wife & 5 year old kid they supplied crayons & menu for him to colour in. The food was fantastic Scallops for starters cooked perfectly & seafood calzone. The seafood calzone came with a healthy portion of Mussels in a beautiful white wine , chilli & tomato sauce , I have visited many restaurants over the years & tried plenty of Calzone's. Quite simply this was the best I've ever had , compliments to the chef. ❤ We will back soon. xx

First time there for over 25 years! Not because we didn't like it, just that we always had something else on and not living locally, it made it hard. Had a lovely meal on Saturday 3rd, can't fault anything at all. The staff were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. Hopefully it won't be so long before we are back again.

Excellent experience at La Fiorentina! Managed to get a table fairly last minute on a Saturday Eve and they held this for us even when our Taxi was running late. Quick and freindly service. My sister ordered King Prawn started and has said it is the best thing she has ever eaten! She also ordered a seafood pasta and commented that they were the best muscles just melting in the mouth. She is excited to go back already. I had the morrzerella started and peppercorn chicken which was also lovely. Good gin menu! Will be back for sure.

Lovely little place on Paisley Rd West. The food is tasty and the service is spectacular. There was a mistake with my wife's food and they were incredibly understanding and graciously rectified the error. Service was speedy but we never felt rushed. Will definitely be coming back.

Restaurant was very busy. We ordered the Celebration Menu it took the three attempts for waitress to get the glass of Prosecco which states on arrival. We ordered the fillet steak which had a 13.50 supplement. When Steak came yes it was cooked as to how we ordered but was very dry and therefore not much taste, I thought Chios were very pale and far too many and vegetables was 2 florets of broccoli which was hardly cooked. Very disappointed in main . Starter and dessert and wine were all okay.

Great place. Enjoyed the food thoroughly but was a bit taken aback by an obese man moaning about his partners dish having a hair in it not only once but twice. I seen the large man looking for hairs and then physically placing it on food. I don't understand where this mentality comes from. Great restaurant.

Food is super but last time we went there were ants on the table. Ignored the first two thinking it may have been a flook/nothing to be overly bothered by. However, after the next few we had said to the waitress and we were able to move seat and got free garlic bread. 10/10 for handling the situation.

Great Italian food, reasonably authentic. Maybe stay away from the seafood spaghetti as its sauce is more of just an oil that is put on the noodles. All the other dishes were amazing, you have to try the garlic bread.

Staff were lovely, only 4 stars because an older waiter took our order and he mixed things up, gave me a prawn starter as well as the prawn main course I ordered, I had planned to share my husband's cheese toast starter, we accepted it as he insisted we had ordered it, when he brought my prawn main he even said you like your prawns don't you? lol!!! So beware you might end up paying for more than you bargained for! Having said that the food was so good!!

Amazing wee traditional restaurant! Myself, my mum and my 2 year old son had lunch here for my birthday and the food was delicious and the service was great! Our server had reddish hair (I think her name was Tracey as our bill stated) she was welcoming, attentive and great with my son. It was our first time trying this place and I’ll definitely be back! My mum is also gluten free and they are great at accommodating allergies!

Lovely authentic Italian Restaurant just outside Glasgow city centre on Paisley Road West. I can't believe it's taken me 26 years to return to this place for food. Was absolutely stunning and reasonably priced too. Went in a Thursday night and it was not overly busy. I booked to be on the safe side. Great service and will be back soon to try out other dishes on the menu. Loved it.

Old school Italian with excellent pre-theatre offers. Lots of families with kids when we went with ours, but the staff had thoughtfully put us together away from the couple's. Food wonderful across all 5 if us. Homemade pate especially good. Staff excellent and they may be broad Scots in real life but I like the itailo-English being spoken across the restaurant. Adds to ambiance. Having eaten at both recently, knocks the new boys like Prezzo for six!

There's really a home feel. A non pretentious restaurant that values its costumers. My partner is Italian and we live just around the corner. It is our safe place to go, when we want to go for good food and have a good time without disappointments. The staff is very nice and friendly. The service is good and kind. You must try La Fiorentina to have a truly Italian experience in Glasgow. The best Italian in town.

Currently sitting in with my other half. Regardless of how busy the place is, the staff is outstanding and the place is an absolute Oasis in the middle of Glasgow. Like everything from Italy, nothing is perfect, but every little thing makes you feel like you're eating in Italy and that makes the whole experience perfect. The food and the flavours in your plate are what you would expect if not better, and the service is relatively fast and efficient. Could not recommend enough.

Pre-theatre menu is very good value. 2 courses for £13.50 and a third could be added for an additional £4 I think. Several choices for each course and a good variety of dishes should please everyone. Service was quick and efficient, which was ideal as we were heading to the Hydro and had arrived late due to traffic. Still made it in time for the show.

For my penny's worth, the best Italian restaurant in Glasgow! The food is delicious, the wine is wonderful and the owner prides himself on only putting wine on the list he personally approves of. I've certainly never had a bad bottle there. The staff are warm and friendly and the decor is, to my tastes, kind of a scattergun italian marble and painting filled treat as there are always objects you didn't spot snuck away in a corner there against the more obvious pieces. It leaves the feeling of being large but also intimate, if that makes sense? Not cheap but well worth the treat!

If you're American, and you've never been to Italy, and had REAL Italian food, go here tonight. Also, don't make my mistake and order something non-italian like a chicken burger. It isn't bad, but I went with someone else who ordered the Lasagna classico, and it was absolutely next level. We will probably end up going back because it was just amazing. Hands down the best lasagna I've ever tasted in my life, and the person who ordered it agreed. We did have to call our waiter to get more water, or ask for our check, but maybe that's just an Eu thing? Seriously, just go here. It's amazing.

We did enjoy our meal as a family as there was 9 of us , 6 adults and 3 children but the service charge was a bit of a let down as the Sunday roast was 2 bits of meat covered in wine sauce and to charge me a service charge I think I should decide if our meal was worth the service charge , plus one of the kids got a pizza on a plate which was boiling hot so as a adult I had to cut it up for her as she was only 7 and time she got to eat it it started to go cold so that was a bit of a letdown the waiter did ask did he want to change plate but as it was from the kids menu they should have known not to put it on a plate so hot in the first place
