O. R.My favourite restaurant in Glasgow. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming! Love the wide selection that they have on their menu and I'm yet to have a disappointing meal. Solid five 🌟s.
V.Let me just straight get to the point! There’s something for everyone here, and there’s also one thing for everyone- the not to missed STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU. That’s not the name on the menu, but I’m not arguing with the bard, so what’s in a name?
This exceptional dessert, which is Homemade, (like their regular tiramisu, which is also excellent) was made fresh in the morning, and it’s melt in the mouth goodness, except with the gentle and only a very tad tangy was like a hug of sweet delight!
Big Thank you to the cheerful young lady who told us that it had been made just that morning and suggested we try it!
This place is right by our hotel. The rooms do not have a fridge, so we made a very wise executive decision. We purchased our dessert for the next day, and requested that the restaurant save it for us in their fridge. We’re set for today.
And, oh yes! They have quite a variety on their menu. Options for Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free included. Everything else we took was good, Two pizzas, one dish of lasagne, and one fillet of bass with freshly cooked vegetables. It was all good!
Oh, and house white wine, good opening notes, then a tad dry, peroni on tap, also good.
Of course, the regular coffee chocolate homemade Tiramisu which was excellent, and the Strawberry on the cake? It was the Homemade STRAWBERRY TIRAMISU, flush with the sweetness of young love! And, we have some for today!

BOOK A TABLE!
We didn't book a table, and since it's a very popular restaurant, we were lucky to get a table. Unfortunately we got a 2-person table for 4 people, so it was tight, but it didn't ruin our night.
Even at 9pm, when we were done, there were still a lot of people waiting outside to be seated, so book a table!
Wonderful place, and I'll visit the restaurant next time I'm in Glasgow.

S. B.Oh my what a delight this place is! Authentic Italian cuisine - no junk, no fuss. Immediately I’m going to say to you - book your table because you may find it hard to get in otherwise. While I was there, five or six walk in tables were turned away. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and attentive.
I went on a late Saturday afternoon when it was busy, busy, busy - mainly with Italian families presumably eating the food from home. That’s the best part - the food. I had a large seafood stew filled with everything - mussels, prawns, clams, squid etc etc all served in a hearty broth. Then on top of the great size pot, a big round warm focaccia to dip in all that broth.a great portion, steaming hot. Prices seem very reasonable for the portions - but to be honest I would have paid a lot more for the dish I received.
The restaurant was clean and though busy, was efficient. There is an open kitchen at the back where the food is cooked.
Perhaps the glass could have been chilled before serving the rose wine - but so minor a point it seems hardly worth mentioning. Will I go back - absolutely, again and again. Even if just for the shellfish stew and the good time. Well done everyone at Sarti, this is genuinely a place worth visiting time and time again.

T. P. S.Wow! what a fantastic service! First time ordering a Christmas hamper from Sarti for friends and I'm so pleased I did! I had been searching online for a decent Italian hamper and couldn't find any. Then we thought of Sarti, old haunt of ours from old, (I'm Glasgow Italian). From order to delivery, the attention to customer service was phenomenal.
Got a call, (and I live in Italy!,) from Ashleigh as soon as I ordered as I asked if it were possible to include cannoli's. She was so nice and helpful, taking the time to explain the process and what is included. She said she would send a photo of the hamper once it was ready, and she did while being on annual leave!, and complimenti a Julie!, who takes the time to create these individual hampers. It looked so impressive, much better than any seen online with other retailers. It was duly delivered when they said it would be and our friends were absolutely overjoyed with their gift.
If anyone is thinking of ordering a hamper, Sarti should be your first and last stop, I cannot recommend them enough. Both Ashleigh and Julie go that extra mile and work hard to ensure you have a great service. I will certainly be using Sarti again. I just wish they could deliver their hampers to us here in Italy! Ha! Ha! Complimenti ancora, e grazie mille, ci vediamo a presto!

G. C.I remember when I first went to an Italian restaurant with my Mum in the early 70s. It was cosy, the smell of pizza dough and garlic pervaded the atmosphere and the food was comforting.
That is exactly the vibe here. Family-style Italian cooking in a cozy subterranean restaurant with all those smells I loved when I first tasted Italian food.
The service was great and the pasta and ice-cream were a particular highlight.

I recently purchased, for the first time, one of Sarti's bespoke hampers, as a surprise gift for my friend's milestone birthday. The whole process, from order to delivery, was simple and fun.
I very much appreciate that a Sarti representative took time to have a chat with me about the Birthday Girl's food preferences and eating/cooking style. This meant that the hamper could be tailored, for a more personal touch.
Delivery went smoothly, and the cheery driver handed me a beautifully dressed hamper, full of luscious fayre that my friend continues to enjoy, delight in, and enthuse about.
We both recommend these hampers to anyone looking for a uniquely personalised gift. And it is a bonus to know that the hamper comes from an independent local Glasgow business.
I would have no hesitation in ordering more of these beautiful hampers, and in recommending them to others.

When I went to offer her a tip she told me it was already added on to the bill . To be honest that doesn't sit well with me it should be my choice to tip someone not automatically added on my bill . And also as me and my wife went to order the dessert we were told we wouldn't be allowed to as they closed at 8pm when I booked my table from 7pm -9pm. 3 stars is due to how good the food was.

D. H.Lively, traditional Italian restaurant with good food. There's a wide range of pizzas for £9 to £12, plus a good selection of alternative mains in the £13 - £25 range, complete with vegetables.
The staff were good humoured and helpful and there were no undue delays. The noise levels didn't preclude holding a conversation.
The only problem we had was identifying the right restaurant as there are 3 restaurants in Glasgow city centre under the Sarti name - we pitched up at the wrong one. Fortunately the waiter there phoned around, located our booking and explained the route to go.

J. S.I really love Sartis, I have been to all of them in Glasgow. This time I visited the restaurant in Bath St. Had a really great meal and cannot fault the food, their profiteroles are amazing.
I was really disappointed with the service though as they were all too busy getting organized for the evening visitors and completely ignored the diners that were still in the restaurant.
I also ordered a Limoncello to finish off my meal and was gob smacked NB when I was given a third of a shot glass as a measure. Really rich of them at £4 50 a pop.
I will be visiting Sartis again but not the Bath Street restaurant and will definitely not be ordering a Limoncello.

T.Sarti's provides a very individual experience amongst the Italian eateries in Glasgow. I'm never disappointed, it has a family feel and the wine list is very good. A wide selection of excellent wines us also available to buy at the front of the restaurant.
