Reviews of BrewDog North Street Leeds
N. “. D.
Great bar with good beers! It gets quite busy on the weekends but it is more relaxed during weekdays. And the best thing, they allow dogs in!
D. S.
They sell Brewdog. So its basically paradise.
But they had no chips which was an issue.
J. H.
Love it here!
Big selection of craft beers
Arcade games to play downstairs!
Shuffle board also downstairs to play!
Pizza was really good!
Fun to come here for a good time , relaxed time, new time ☺️
L. B.
Amazing! The staff are absolutely lovely, James in particular was fab, so helpful and knowledgeable! The drinks are amazing, first time here and I would definitely come back!! Such a comfortable bar :)
B. E.
If you've been to Brewdog Leeds you may think about skipping this one, especially considering it's on the fringes of the main city.
However, I'd strongly recommend you make the effort to go.
It's considerable larger and has more beer available on tap, it also does food, pizza to be precise, we didn't eat but it looked and smelt superb.
There's fridge with BD beers and guest beers to take out plus a range of BD merchandise.
It's quite light and airy upstairs with shuffle board and old skool arcade games downstairs.
The staff are friendly and talkative, as a whole it's one of my favourite bars in Leeds.
S. P.
Great beer and choice but seems slightly uncomfortable compared to other Brewdog bars which I've always given five stars. Not sure if it's the staff or vibe. Much prefer the original Brewdog venue in Leeds
J. S.
Good bar with plenty of beers on offer. Food options are a bit more limited with mainly just pizza. Friendly and helpful service.
J.
BrewDog bar serving (surprise surprise) BrewDog beers & spirits. They generally have a wide selection of beers (including some guest beers from various craft brewers). They also serve pizza, but the main attraction is the basement games room, featuring a variety of classic Arcade machines and several Shuffleboard tables.
G. W.
Always like the feel of BrewDogs and this one is as good as the others! It has plenty of seating and games etc! Beer always good, but I was given a pre poured pint of Punk. It was sat at the taps and had a head added to it for me. I wanted something different (They have so much choice) but the bar talked me in to having the punk. So it's lost a star for that and unfortunately for the Pizza. We eat quite a bit of Pizza in Leeds and just felt it was over priced for the size. It was very good pizza just on the small size for the price. 2 pints and 2 small/medium pizzas almost £29, bit steep for Leeds. Will of course return for the beer, just not the Pizza.
T. S.
Great beer and food staff friendly too
A. M.
Popped in for the one. I'm an Equity Punk so I get to the Brewdog bars as much as I can. 2nd time here and it's just a really nice bar. Beer decent and service impeccable. Can't recommend this place enough. The beer in the photo is a pint of Small Screen Hero. It's dare I say, a cheeky little number...
M. C.
Amazing beer, fun games and tge longest shuffle board ever
A. B.
Shuffle board is good fun. Lots of arcade machines too. Good selection of beer and spacious
L. F.
Great pub just on the edge of Leeds Town centre
H. P.
The food and beer were very over priced... £1 just for garlic mayo! Pizza when they arrived were good. Service was slow and the guy who served us was very rude. Very disappointing since we went out of our way to come here from Leeds
J. S.
Wings were very nice, friendly and helpful staff, good range of beers.
T. P.
Beer overpriced can get the same pint of punk ipa for half the price at any given spoons, service was slow and met with some arrogance. Food was good but again very over priced.
O. S.
Great venue, normal Brewdog selection of beers, with an amazing sticky toffee Strannick on offer when I visited. There are arcade games, and shuffle board games available downstairs too.
M. A.
Really liked this BrewDog. A very modern building, set out in the awesome Brewdog mould. Unsurprisingly, many top beers available.
B. F.
The halloumi pizza was delicious. Very large seating area and shuffleboard downstairs!
R. S.
Lovely choice of beer mixed with some awesome games! You must go just to play shuffle board and play some retro arcade games... Must go place!
C. C.
Recently visited BrewDog North Street Leeds, in Leeds and had a wonderful few hours. Made sure we had a table by booking and the staff were great. BrewDog are really taking current events seriously and making sure everyone is as safe as they can be there. The Beers were brilliant and they get replaced frequently. The pizza was delicious and the vegan Seitan Wings were lovely, just as good as actual chicken wings, but less of a faff! Will definitely return to BrewDog North Street Leeds next time I'm in Leeds
S. M.
They have a quite large selection of beers and the shuffleboard and arcade area downstairs is very fun
R. H.
Shuffleboard is great fun, nice to visit and play during the day as it's a lot quieter. Reasonable pricing, decent atmosphere. I'm a stout and dark beer person so sometimes it's hard to find a decent choice depending on what's on offer.. otherwise no complaints. This location is double or triple the size of the brewdog near call lane.
I. H.
Two members of staff on the bar were supremely wonderful. Very quiet sunday early afternoon and still engaged. The lager tastes as if it is well kept. Yes the price is slightly more than a larger chain bar yet it is 100 fold better! Would recommend if you want a nice relaxed atmosphere and a good pint1
S. M.
Good place to hang out with friends. Wide selection of board games, shuffleboard and arcade games are great.
I have only been once and the arcade games all had lots of free credits which was awesome, but I have a feeling this may have been leftover from a private hire.
The only potential downsides were that I believe drinks are quite expensive and from my one visit I thought the staff could have been a bit more welcoming / friendly but this could have just been a one off.
A. M.
Excellent quality beer, great selection and the pizzas were surprisingly good. Whoever decided to put a shuffleboard in a bar is a genius, absolutely brilliant fun. Would have been 5 stars but even taking into consideration the quality of the beer I find it unnecessarily expensive for what you get. Doesn't stop me going from time to time though!
L. A.
One of my favourite places to go on a night out. The staff are brilliant, can always rely on them for suggestions. Food is delicious. Being able to play games at the table is an added bonus which makes for a good night and Shuffleboard is extremely addictive. Also love the retro games downstairs. Will come back time after time!
J. H.
We made a booking for Brewdog in post lockdown, with the new Covid-19 measures and our experience was sensational. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so attentive and welcoming. The customer service was faultless and the venue seemed like they genuinely cared for their customers. The staff went out of their way to provide us with the best experience possible. Shuffleboard was so much fun too! This is a must visit.... You will not be disappointed
N. W.
Great choice of draft beer and comfortable seating. Good place to stay a while and talk as the music isn't loud. Bit out of the way but that can be a good thing depending on the type of night you're on.
K. O.
Great venue! Came here for a work social and it was spot on, the shuffleboard was a really good activity that everyone could pick up quickly and take part in and everyone was really happy with the buffet that was put on.
The staff were really accommodating around the budget that was available and we did a drinks token system which worked really well.
Everyone was really happy with the evening so thank you very much to the staff for making it so awesome.
J. A.
I'm not a massive fan of IPA however the offer of trying different drinks is fab... I would never have tried many if these drinks. The staff are friendly. Played shuffle board had such a laugh!!. Pizzas are good.
A. R.
Really enjoyed this bar. Absolutely loved the collection and variety of beers. Had no idea what I was choosing though. Loved the shuffleboard downstairs, I couldn't help but beat all I came into contact with.
It was quiet for a Saturday night but that is what we were looking for anyway, so no complaints from me!
A. J.
Visited here whilst working near Leeds, there is a really good selection of real and artisan ales to try.
I always think it's a good bar service when you are unsure what to drink, as there is so much selection and the names are plain wild, and you are offered a small sample to try. What more is there to say other than I enjoyed drinking here.
M. C.
Usual selection of Brewdog and Guest beers. Only downside was it took a while to get served as the only barman front of house was talking/dealing with another table.
J. F.
An excellent bar to go with there outstanding beers.
S. H.
Worth seeking out as it's on the fringe of the main pubs and clubs area. Very spacious indide with shuffle boards and arcade games downstairs. Usually a great selection of craft beer including interesting guest brews. Food definitely recommended also.
R. H.
We mainly go here for a few games of shuffleboard downstairs, which is a great way to spend an hour. The boards are in very good nick and there are clear instructions posted for people who haven't played before. We usually follow this up with pizzas and a few drinks. The pizzas are really nice with some carefully thought out topping combos and some solid vegetarian options.
E. C.
BrewDog is the best bar. Enjoy visiting it in any city
A. B.
Great Brewdog bar with a vast number of lines - every kind of craft beer imaginable, served by experts. You can set up a tab, get discount if you're a shareholder, order some pizza (pretty average if I'm honest), and play shuffleboard downstairs! If you never have, it's simple, great fun, and addictive... Lovely atmosphere, great staff.
A. A.
Good drinks and no long queues on weekends because it is a bit out of the centre. Which is good for people who want to go out on a Friday night to a nice uncrowded place.
We played shuffleboard which was super fun and a must do. Going back definitely soon.
J. H.
Outstanding range of keg and bottled craft beers (as you'd expect) along with plenty of arcade games downstairs. It's larger than the original Leeds Brewdog and has vastly more beers on tap as a result. Well worth going along with a few friends to play shuffleboard as well.
r.
Great place for food and drink. And just busy enough you can still get served and play the games.
A. B.
Shuffleboard is just great, if you haven't tried it you must. Great beers too. Waited for pizza a bit too long though and pizza was just ok. There is also a great selection of arcade games...accepts new pound coins...Street Fighter is there:). Parking nearby only with Leeds council approved app, which is almost a scam.
R. G.
It's a cool bar with the shuffleboard and the arcades. My pint was a bit flat compared to when i had the same brew in their Manchester bar and one of their staff knocked a glass of beer over which covered my legs on beer when it smashed and he said nowt. Usually love brewdog, but it wasn't killing it on this visit.
L. C.
Come here regularly and they are all so lovely. My dog is quite nervous and barks at a lot of people and the staff are so understanding and patient with him. Great beer and the wings are to die for!
T. G.
The shuffle boards are great fun and the beer is of course pretty decent
G. S.
Popped into this Brewdog bar after a work meeting I'd had in Leeds. Expected selection of lovely Brewdog beers. Really friendly staff who weren't afraid to answer questions and recommend to people's tastes. Was shocked to pop downstairs for the toilet a few minutes before I left and realised they had a massive & impressive selection of arcade games in the basement(!) which I didn't have the time to go on but could do with a bit more promotion.
C. H.
Lovely place. Staff were excellent. Nice pizza and beers. Thank you.
J. S.
Do I need to explain why Brewdog is awesome?
C. G.
A decent bar with lots of drink options, lots of tables and arcade machines in the basement as well as three shuffleboard tables that are great fun (£5 for half an hour of playing).
The arcade machines aren't all on and don't take new £1 coins (or any coins at all in some instances) and it can get very busy and loud, so try to avoid peak hours on Friday and Saturday if you can.
E. K.
It is a great BrewDog pub. This place has many cooler than usual entertainment pieces. There are arcade machines like Pac-man and mortal kombat, shuffleboard (table curling) and pin ball tables. Place is big and suitable for couples, small groups and huge groups up to 20 people. Ales and other drinks are superb taste and quality and disserve admiration.
M. S.
Nice concept away from the usual BD bars. Found the staff to be great, even gave us some extra cans to look at while we sat in the booth. Nice arcade games down stairs along with the unique shuffle boards.
C. C. H.
Great craft brewery accessible with ramp and accessible toilet. Good vegan pizzas and cauliflowers wings.
S. H.
Love Brewdog, kind friendly local type attitude to place. Family feel on entry. Ashame the stamp to the beer visa wasn't a little better aligned 😂 If that's my only gripe, it must be good! No outdoor seating however the inside is a bit of a suntrap yet feels nice and cool.
M. H.
Seems out of the way but this gem of a bar is a treasure trove of entertainment. If you are knocking about in the Belgrave Music Hall area then you might as well step over here. The usual delicious Brewdog beers AND classic pinball AND shuffleboard. Not much food but what there is is nicely kept and worth eating; pizza, cheese and charcuterie boards.
M. R.
Like BrewDog but a bit pricey for a pint of larger
T. B.
Good space and games, ok pizza but small for £9. Not great selection on the taps, mostly brewdogs own supermarket craft with a few guest and more interesting brews.
O. B.
Brilliant beer, very nice light pizzas and a big games room downstairs! (Shuffleboard, pinball and arcade.) One of the best palaces to relax.
T. H.
I’m only giving this three stars because I beer is life but otherwise pretty rubbish I think, tried to play shuffle board with my cousin for her birthday 🍰 last year and she got sand in her eye and had to go to hospital later that night, 🩺😱
Had som alright beers ok but a beer bar and no smoothflow🤔smh I’m sorry but that just won’t do for me but I did like the punk (cheaper at my local Tesco’s though he he he)
M. R.
Friendly welcome even though we were claiming a free beer. At one end of a Leeds pub crawl but a decent bar to start it finish at. A selection of classic games including Mortal Kombat keep you entertained! Lots and lots and lots of different beer mainly from the Brewdog themselves
J. B.
Great range of tasty beers, helpful.and knowledgeable staff. I like the retro appearance if all BD bars. It's not the sort of place that does 10 shots for a tenner, or pints of horse water for £2 so that keeps the knuckle draggers out.
A. P.
Much bigger than the Brewdog by the Corn Exchange. Great beers on tap and bottle, suitable for a wide range of tastes. Designated drivers, there's an amazing alcohol free beer on tap here
M.
I’d say this is my favourite pub in Leeds.
Just on the outskirts so away from the idiots. Massive selection of Brewdog and other beers. Pinball machines and shuffleboard.
Pizzas there ok if you get peckish
S. S.
Went with the GF with a beer tasting voucher from Groupon. I have to say that this was a great deal. 5x 1/3 pint each and a cheese and meat platter.
You also get one of brewdogs barman to join you and talk through each of the beers and how it's made and the differences between them as well as the history of brewdog.
Great value.
I definitely enjoyed some of the special beers that were on at the time.
S. p.
Large traditional Shuffleboard tables in the basement, some retro arcade games. Beer is somewhat over-hopped for my taste, but good if you like strong IPA style beers.
A. G.
Friendly knowledgeable staff and amazing beers
M. P.
Good fun with retro arcade downstairs! Shuffle board is a must (though don't get the board in the middle!).
Beer is a tad expense but that's par for the course and I've seen worse!
M.
Good selection of beers. Staff helpful and allow you to try before purchasing. Great games room with shuffleboard, pinball, etc.
M. G.
Brilliant 1st visit, staff are very helpful beer is spot on.
Really enjoyed a game of shuffleboard with the mrs shame it ended up a draw. Will deffo be coming again.
D. B.
Always go here for a drink love them. But there food was a big disappointment ordered two pizzas at premium price and when it come it was cold and not much to the topping big let down.
L. L.
Nice stout 10%, not as busy as usual after Xmas, but will visit again in New year for sure. Out of town at North Street but worth searching out, plus a few bars opposite and adjacent.
S. C.
First time we've ventured to the second Leeds Brewdog. Nice building by the road just east of the main shopping district. As you expect, plenty of beers and this one serves pizza as well.
G. R.
Has both the friendliest and best looking staff in Leeds. Good recommendations and great selection of beers!
A. V.
Good deal. Eat owt to help owt - last day of the scheme. Buy one get one free. Very cheap eat all in all. Very helpful staff, from the North East so goes without saying...
P. W.
Large number of taps with a good mix of guests and brewdog. Shuffle boards are good fun. Staff are helpful and friendly. Do tastey pizza
C. R.
As usual with all the BrewDog bars, excellent selection of beers and plenty of space over the two floors. Retro arcade downstairs rounded off a great visit.
J. R.
The wings and pizza are absolutely amazing! And the fresh craft beer is second to none. Cannot recommend enough
J. R.
Great spot. Good beer. Nice atmosphere. Fun games downstairs (forget what it's called but it's like mini curling).
A. S.
The best brewdog in Leeds. More taps, bigger fridge selection, arcade machines, pinball, shuffleboard, pizza and more. Worth the walk and plenty of places to eat nearby.
J. G.
Went in for a beer on quiz night, this was really entertaining and funny. Excellent selection of Brewdog and local craft beers.
K. G.
Excellent place to try something different. Great variety of homemade beers (from Scotland). It is a bit expensive but you can taste the quality of their beers.
K. R.
Although the kitchen wasn't in service we still had a really great time! If games are what you are wanting, down stairs is where it's at. Have fun!
L. J.
Worst brewdog I've been too, the staff were surprisingly not great, there was no atmosphere as it was empty and massive. Not a great selection of drinks on at the time either
k. w.
Went to both brewdog pubs in Leeds Always a pleasurable experience, staff are always polite, friendly and have a good knowledge of the products on sale and a broad knowledge of other beers and breweries around the area and further afield, will deffo be going back
J. B.
Gutted we only found the second floor. As we were.readying to leave. This is everything my husband wants from a bar. Great beers. Video Games and Pinball. We will be back.
G. S. L. #.
Shared Shuffleboard and a Flight Board with the family - great fun and great beer!
What more could you ask for?
Oh yeah! Wicked pizza too!
N. F.
Great craft beer. Good atmosphere. The staff is really nice. Good to chill, drink some beer and play some games.
A. J.
Superb selection of beers and not overly busy due to its location on the edge of the city. Always a beer worth trying on the guest or specials
W. D. C.
Great pub. Try and get a window seat and watch the world rush about
K. G.
Great pin ball tables good pizza. Great shuffle boards a unique pub high priced beers let it down.
P. H.
Good selection of beers, nice atmosphere. Good arcade type room downstairs with shuffleboard tables and arcade machines etc.
G.
Really nice bar, great beers atmosphere and plenty of games to play, try the shuffleboards!
D. S.
More taps than an average Brewdog. Free WiFi. There's a fridge with beers to takeaway. Nice atmosphere.
L. E.
Fabulous gin, gorgeous smelling pizza that we have to try next time, and great music last Saturday. The shufflboards are great too.
M. P.
Good friendly atmosphere. Plenty of space. Good selection of Brew Dog. Games downstairs. Needs a new lock on mens wc
l. s.
Quiet, friendly staff and the drink was very good.
M. P.
Great place to socialise. Shuffleboarding was really good fun! It helps if you like brew dog beers!
P. C.
Lovely airy bar with a friendly team. We always visit when we are in Leeds.
E. A.
Shuffleboard is a really fun game to play in a group, and Shuffledog ups the fun with pinball, retro arcade games and an interesting selection of home and abroad beers.
T. M.
nice pint of session le, really hit the spot but was quite expensive. Don;t like games and had to suffer some forced fun but otherwise no complaints. Bit out of the way.
C. N.
Great bar with enough space. A large underground room with a lot of flippers, video games and 3 huge olympic shufflepuck boards.
R. v. D.
Good pub with excellent selection of beer. I am pretty confident anyone can find a beer matching their personal preference.
K. B.
As with all Brewdog pubs, a good selection of craft beers from the brewery and a nice range of other small brewer's beers. Also, basement arcade games!
J. B.
Great beer, great staff, great venue.
D. “.
Serves a great range of craft beer. Nice chill out area upstairs with a games room downstairs.
O. T.
Good beer, good food, good atmosphere. Shuffle board downstairs is great!
J. B.
Stunning beers, friendly and knowledgeable staff, free tastings and full size shuffleboard tabled downstairs.
L. S.
Good beer. Liked pinball. Did not eat. Location is OK relatively close to the centre.
R.
We loved it! Awesome atmosphere, great music, good beer....Sorry we broke things though.
C. T.
lovely place to relax and watch the world go by. However they do need to update their wine selection, they have nothing by partner likes so I don't visit as often as I could.
w. J.
It has a great selection of beers. You can sample before you buy and also buy take a ways and other brewdog souvenirs.
A. M.
A brew dog, if you’ve been to one you know what to expect, a good range of beers looked after to a good degree, nothing amazing but it does have a good downstairs games area
A. “. C.
Great staff. The shuffleboard is a good laugh if you can get a table. Brewdog beer. Enough said.
B. P.
Great place to chill. Friendly staff and great value for money with the Jamuary free refills on alcohol free beer.
D. L.
I find ShuffleDog a little bit unatmospheric compared to the other Brew Dog bar in Leeds, but they have the same great beer and it's a little less claustrophobic.
S. M.
Great place. Great beer. Great food. Definitely worth a visit!
D. D.
Great service, friendly staff and very welcoming , recommended a good tasty sour pizzas are very nice and delicious, and very filling 😋 🍕🍷🥤
T. C. S.
Awesome full length shuffleboards downstairs. And it's Brewdog so brilliant selection of craft beers.

A. F. A. R.

Superb Brewdog, has everything you expect. Great beer, great feel to the venue, great staff, and the usual quirky surroundings.
T. M.
Great beer, great staff, great industrial decor. A bit pricey....
G. H.
great beers, knowledgeable staff and fantastic games of shuffleboard for a very different night out.
L. G.
Wide selection of beers with regular rotating specials and guest beers - the kebabs are especially delicious also!
A. W.
Smaller than most brewdogs and a little bit chilly in cold weather but still nice beers.
A. E.
Drinks are average but I love going there to play shuffle board with friends in the basement.
