I visited this restaurant as I had a Groupon voucher. The service was amazing, staff were wonderful. The meal was out of the world. My partner had the scallop starter and said they were the best scallops he had ever had, then he had the veal which was equally wonderful. I had garlic bread starter which was delicious followed by shredded beef tagliatelle, absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be visiting again. They also do an early bird menu and lunch time menu as well which seems very reasonably priced.

Excellent meal for our family of four, using a Wowcher deal. Pizza al pomodoro, Spaghetti Bolognese, Tagliatelle Vecchia Roma (x2) & Tagliatelle nere con Capesante a Gamberi. The food was extremely tasty and service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Impromptu lunch visit as we needed to find somewhere to eat with our dog, whilst I don't know whether dogs are allowed inside the owner was happy for us to eat outside with our bundle of fluff! I had read a few reviews pre ordering but I cannot complain about our visit as the staff and food were lovely, we will return.

Depending on what food you have and your preference of taste your review can go either way! Nice family running it. Spacious, has a nice outdoor area. I had noir linguine with prawn and scallops. Was ok. Pineapple juice n lemonade was beautifully refreshing!

We went to Ciao Bella for my brother's birthday in early February there were 8 adults and an 18 month old toddler. The staff were fantastic as was the food and the service. We went for the “Early Bird” menu. There wasn’t a lot of choice and clearly the dishes were selected to suit the price point but the food was good and the waiter had all the banter 😂. There was certainly nothing to complain about having a three course meal for the price. We have also sampled the main menu on other occasions and the food did not disappoint.

We've been coming here for years for our family occasions.... friendly service, yummy food, great atmosphere. If the sun's out, the outside terrace is lovely and if its chilly, inside is spacious and warm.

I found the food fine. The chips were really good, but the service was very strange. The staff were nice but weren't allowed to do anything without the owner's say so. He wasnt there when we walked in so the staff didnt really kniw what to do with us. We asked to sit but then the owner came back and insisted we move 2 tables up. We asked for some more drinks but the owner told the waitress to do something else before getting our drinks. It felt like he was proving the point to her that she does what he says first. I felt quite uncomfortable at times and definitely won't be back.

Good food and very friendly service. The lasagne was lovely, very creamy and delicious. My cannelloni were pretty nice, but for me the taste of spinach over-powered everything which was a shame. The service were all lovely though I found it odd to be served by 5 different people in 1 meal. The tables are absolutely not 2m apart, possibly not even 1m! The 2 seater tables were quite compact - my legs felt squashed and I felt awkward sitting with them wide apart. The toilets are in much need of some TLC. My final negative is really more of a personal one; no drinks menu is always a negative in my eye - I like to browse in peace not have to ask the staff to name all the drinks. Wasn’t a terrible experience and the prices were reasonable so we’d go again, after this whole Covid thing has gone away.

Good range of quality food at reasonable prices. Specials menu offers a more unusual selection of dishes. Lovely building with original features. We found the service to be good. Had the calzone off the standard menu and black taglietelle with prawns and scallops off the specials. Large range of wines but only house wine by the glass.

We visit this restaurant quite a lot and always come out saying" that was fabulous". The food is always first class whether it's pizza or pasta and the service is friendly and efficient. If you want a brilliant Italian dining experience in leeds centre at very affordable prices, this is the place for you. In summer, the outside courtyard is a piece of quiet heaven in the middle of a busy city.

Great atmosphere in a spacious restaurant based in a converted warehouse.Humorous and attentive staff who treated you like family. The food was competitively priced and beautifully cooked. I had the Toscana pizza and the apple pie. The latter was especially lovely and not at all heavy. In our party of 10 we were all really pleased at our enjoyable evening. The toilets were scrupulously clean and a sign of attention to detail and excellent management. Bravo 👏

Have visited here nearly every time I visit Leeds. The food is always good but the service was not as prompt as other times. In excess of 15 minutes before someone came to take the food order, having taken the drink order but forgetting the water we ordered. However in saying that what we ordered was good in taste, flavour and quantity.

We have just got back from having a lovely lunch a Ciao Bella. We have been 3 times and used a Groupon deal each time. We find it unbelievable how they can make money, deliver a lovely service and serve a tasty meal lasagna/aubergine each (we plan on trying all the food!!) The owner/manager is always cracking a joke and told me I couldn't have the black linguini as they had run out of black paint. The waitress was lovely and I got a nice corner table as requested.

The old gentleman is extremely rude. We used a groupon voucher and he didn't like us using it. Previously tried to book on the phone stated we had a voucher and the same man was rude, kept repeating himself without answer our question and told us he doesn't care for the vouchers. A hidden gem. I've been wanting to come to this place for ages and it didn't dissapoint. Atmosphere, service, decor and wine were superb. I would've left a tip, but didn't have any cash and forgot to add it on to the card receipt! The food was absolutely unbelievable, on a different level to any Italian food I've had in Leeds so far. You could taste the authenticity.

There were 4 of us out to celebrate a birthday, we had a starter each and main course, all of which were extremely nice along with a bottle of white wine for the 2 adults and soft drinks for the youngsters. Our meals included a steak, veal and pastas, everything was cooked to our liking and we had no complaints at all. We had a bit of banter with waiters which was a good touch although they did seem to struggle to remember who had ordered what. This led to some confusion as the food came out. I paid the bill and rushed off as we made our way to our next birthday appointment, it wasn't until the following day we realised we'd been overcharged, it seems we had paid for the couple next to us as well! We contacted them and they sorted out the problem swiftly and with very little fuss. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable meal, good waiter service and excellent customer service. We've already said we'd go back again.... But maybe look at the bill a bit closer this time.

Although our experience started fine and the ambiance was good and food & service was good until the restaurant started to fill with bigger parties came in, then it went down hill. Options were chosen from the menu but neither the menus or the waitress mentioned that choices were unavailable, so after three attempts of the dessert which we’re unavailable they never came back before my dining partners had finished even to take my dessert Oder order the coffee orders. Shame as I will not recommend the the service as only excuses were made which we’re definitely not palatable +/- compatible 😱😒 they laughed off their professionalism & adequacy of running a busy restaurant - rubbish I wouldn’t have given a tip for this service 😨😨😨😨😨😨😨 which is unusual for me as I know how hard this Industry is - RUBBISH

I had the assorted bruchetta to start which was a very generous delicious starter and my brother had garlic bread with rosemary which again was very generous and super light. For mains I had a special of black tagliatelle with prawns and scallops and it was supposed to come with a cream sauce (I don't like cream) and the waiter offered it in a tomato sauce instead and it was gorgeous....generous portion of seafood within it to. My brother had the cod loin and sauted potatoes (he didn't want a sauce) which was cooked to perfection. We also ordered courgette fries (a first for me!) and veg which were both lovely too. I'll definitely be heading back there the next chance I get!

The food and service at the table was great, when it came to paying that was a complete let down. All five of us are on a business trip and needed to seperate our bill with a receipt to send to reclaim costs. The manger was very rude, completely refused to seperate our bill, saying he couldn't do it. I asked for a hand written which he wrote the total price and refuses to list 1 main 1 dessert. Very disappointing as the man was so rude after a great meal. Will not recommend if on a buisness trip or expect a helpful manager.

Would go again Put on edge abit but i would say due to an inexperienced member of staff. Got there, waited to be seated, waitress just stood there, another person told her to sort us, told her the booking info, and she wondered around then the other member told her where our table was. We were eating as a family of 4 on a pre paid groupon deal. We had added a fifth person but had phoned ahead to make sure beforehand was told they would just pay separate. When we were ordering drinks we said could we have the fifth person on a separate bill, she said she would ask. A manager came over and said we couldn't do that and we cant have the fifth member. We said we had rung ahead earlier in week, he said it was him and he never said we could use the voucher against set meals. Told him we never asked about set meals and found out wrong message had been said to him. Got sorted but it did affect the mood quite alot. Nice food zucchini fries are perfect

My wife and I are regular customers. The food is very tasty and good value even without the deals. But look out for the Groupon deal which is on regularly. Attentive staff, good drinks selection and the restaurant is never too busy. Probably due to location which is only 5 mins walk from the city centre but away from the annoying revelers!

I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions when travelling to Leeds. It's really handy if staying in jury's inn at kendall's wharf. Restaurant itself is friendly with lovely attentive polite staff. Dont feel awkward if sining alone as I have to sometimes. The food I've had and seem others have look and taste delicious. I love the pizza and the cheesy garlic bread is phenomenal. Try a side portion of chips. The chips are massive and with salt absolutely sublime. Worth a trip in themselves. Keep doing what you do cos it's great.

Brilliant again. So relaxing. And a fully reimbursed 50 Groupon. Interestingly re earlier post and Groupon issue, it was indeed a Groupon problem and if you had accepted the explanation then taken it up with Groupon you got full refund of cost of voucher AND got the 25 in the restsurant. We had two that had been missold. So got 50 off food for I think 8 in the end after being fully reimbursed by Groupon for their error. All this was explained to us by the manager who advised us what to do. Result.
