We hadn’t booked, but staff accommodated us and found us a table, for our pre-show meal. Service was brilliant. Staff attentive even though the restaurant was full. Decor was relaxing, a real cosy Italian feel to the place. Our drinks then food arrived quickly. It was hot and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was welcoming and friendly. Definitely eat here again when next in London.

We tracked down from Argyll street BI (which google said was open but it doesn’t exist!) to Leicester Square who would not sit us because they were taking a delivery in the middle of lunch hour (good business sense!) to this little BI on the corner near now closed Portrait Gallery ( this outlet was also supposed to take a delivery but agreed to accommodate our party). We appreciated their flexibility and sat outside, it was mid week and not busy as there are very few tourists around still. The food arrived quickly, despite them warning us of delays- it was a pleasant surprise. We had pasta dishes all round: Bolognese, lasagna, creamy mushroom and duck ragu. My family wolfed theirs and didn’t complain, washing it down with an ok-ish Moltepulciano. For me, duck pasta was a little on the cold side. But tasty nonetheless. The portions are not huge. The native Italian waiter called Fabiano made up for the food with his banter and lifted our tired spirits. Would probably not come back unless I am starving and nothing else is open.

We left the Garrick Theatre looking for the Italian Restaurant where we had booked a table and unwittingly entered Bella Italia by mistake! On entering Taoufik, the manager, greeted us warmly and showed us to a table. We were the only customers at 5pm but within an hour it was very busy. Baba the waiter was super efficient , nothing was too much trouble. Great pasta dishes, generous portions and can certainly recommend!

Pouring rain, needed somewhere to eat and quickly. Stumbled into this place mainly as the quickest way to get warm and dry. Staff quickly organised a table for us. Great service, super friendly staff. Order taken quickly and food arrived promptly. It looked great and tasted great, salads were fresh, the pasta dishes full of flavour. You don't always expect great food, service and value when you're eating in the heart of a tourist area, but this place delivered for sure. As a Londoner, I'd be happy to go back.

I came in yesterday with my wife. We didn't have to wait very long. Had a fantastic meal. I would recommend the lasagne. We've been to many Bella Italias and this one is by far our favourite. Iasmin, is one of the best of the best at Bella Italia, my mother and I have been coming to Bella Italia since I was very young, since the day we first arrived at Bella Italia, Iasmin has tended to us with the most respect and attention, and had made sure that we are always well looked after and every time he is present he always greets us with a smile He is certainly admired by my mother and I, and we are always looking to come back for more, because he is the heart and soul of Bella Italia, and it wouldn’t be the same without him.

I love this chain however have popped into this branch several times. Last time we visited was after a show and arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. Was expected to be rushed however this was far from the experience. Food was delicious and staff were extremely friendly. One group of women were needlessly trying to argue with the waiter - asking to see the sauce jar - however being extremely rude but they handled it well throughout, even after closing Hats off to them

Food and drinks were great and tasted fantastic. Service however could be improved. Went on a quiet Monday night with 2 friends. We had some drinks as mentioned and even though others got asked for 2nd drinks, we weren't. There was a promotion about a set meal course for 12.49 (or something) and I ordered what was on there but did not mention the deal when ordering. When the waiter came with the bill later the discount was not applied. On request the waiter rudely replied that I did not mention the deal when ordering and I can't have it now. Paying a bill over £100 worth in good and drinks I would have expected more! Would not go again!

Nice quiet pub in a good location. If you want to have a few drinks and a good natter then this pub is your thing. No loud music or crowds to fight through to get to the bar. Their chips are lush so recommend them. Just watch out for the low ceiling in the toilet.

Went here on Sunday 7th April for lunch. We had a waitress with red hair, she was new but very good and friendly (sorry I can’t remember her name). Her service was probably the best part of the dinning experience. Prices were high, but within the normal range for the City of London. I had the bolognese, and they were very stingy on the sauce, making it tasteless. I asked for more sauce and they did bring me a bowl with it, but they put so much tomato sauce in it to make up for the lack of meat, which for that price, is not acceptable.
