This is a great restaurant, delicious food and nice staff. With good service. I really loved everything about Caraffini, we called before thier closing time by an hour and they told us we can walk in and we will be seated. Its very quiet and intimate spot. We ordered, sea bass, salmon, rositio, and potato and broccoli side. I'd evaluate the cleanness and hygiene 5/5, because I saw them how they handle plates, spoons, cups...etc

Absolutely delicious. We arrived at 9.30pm on a Thursday evening and the place was full - that says something! Each of our dishes was really amazing, and I’d 100% recommend coming here. The livers and veal medallions were stand out dishes for me, but really can’t fault any. Waiters are great, not too attentive, just right. Thank you!

Popular, elegant well established restaurant. Great seating outside so avoid tables on the upper floor as it appears very cut off. Service good but staff very busy and probably need more. Best Italian outside Italy. Always feel like part of the Caraffini family. Ask for a table by the window to take in the theatre of the restaurant. Veal in lemon and white wine sauce to die for.

A very popular Italian restaurant, close to the King’s Road. A firm favourite with Chelsea folk, and usually busy - so book ahead. Extensive menu and choice of wines. Veal Milanese and grilled squid with chilli, garlic and rocket is often excellent. Service is friendly and attentive, with repeat customers welcomed back like old friends. One of the few Italian restaurants where I’ve found cassata (ice cream with candied fruit nougat 😍) on the dessert menu. The restaurant was refurbished just a few years ago, but had started looking a touch tired - hard to keep looking fresh I guess if footfall is high.

One of my favourite Italian resturants - fresh pasta - fresh fish - but "sadly" I tend to have the grilled sardines followed by the liver or veal - lovely fresh vegetables, fantastic service and a great wine selection. Always a great atmosphere whether lunch or dinner! Love the place! Thank you!

Excellent restauraunt, you must book for Saturday dinner. It was nice to have my coat hung as I arrived. Service was very good and food was even better. Main course arrived and then the vegetables were served from a stainless steel dish, the old fashion way but with modern style. Portions were just right so we all had room for desert. We will return for another meal.

Delicious traditional Italian food. Very elegant restaurant, great service. Had the grilled sardines as a starter , really good! But the best was really the linguine alla vongole. Tastebuds are still popping reminding me of my childhood experience of eating pop rocks for the first time. This restaurant is of a caliber I have yet to see here in London! Service is top shelf, the waiters are on top of everything from taking our jackets to immideate pouring of my favorite wine. As a Canadian, I’m treated to top shelf service at home on a regular basis, and with food quality that matches the best. I can truly say that here is amoung the best I have been to in the past couple months, and I say that, honestly admitting I don’t remember the last time I ate at home.

Food was alright, but what I really didn't like was the customer service, I felt they were a bit rude, not very friendly, I went by myself and felt that they just wanted me to leave, they cleared the table completely as soon as i finished my meal, brought the bill to the table without asking for it, 1 minute later brought the machine so that i could pay by card, it felt very unfriendly. It is quite a pricey place, thats how it is, but the other anmoying thing is that if you don't eat meat and only a pasta, then they charge you 2 pounds extra!, so you get pubished for not eating a big course. They have to learn more about treating people well and making them feel at home.

Walked into Caraffini one rainy evening and asked if they could seat us when they opened (tourists visiting the area for two weeks) at 6:30. They would find us a table if we could vacate it by 8PM. We agreed and returned. Warm and wonderful atmosphere, wonderful food, wonderful wine selection and advice, great service. After our first visit, they treated as a though we were "regulars." And they do have "regulars," lots of them. Join them!

Slightly old fashioned (but not in a bad way) Italian restaurant which attracts a fairly well heeled clientèle, perhaps unsurprisingly considering its location near to Sloane Square. Seems to be a mixture of an older crowd, and also some families with young children. Oh and the occasional celebrity. We've been a few times with our daughter now, it's nice to sit out on the terrace at the front where we don't feel so worried about disturbing other diners. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and very nice to kids, the pasta is reliable, and the wine list is pretty good (I discovered Campofiorin here, which has become a favourite).

This Italian has Portugese and Spanish waiters and I suspect that the kitchen is the same. The food is predicatably good but it is missing that Italian specialness. The wait staff are friendly to the point of being obsequious which explains Caraffini's popularity. It is frequented by self-important people whose cosseting is more important than culinary excellence. As usual this is expensive.
