Very tasty food, the lamb was far above your average restaraunt offering as it is marinated properly for around one and a half days before it's cooked... and the service was as everyone says it is, friendly and hospitable, you are treated like one of the family. Recommended.

I ordered some food from this restaurant for my mum's birthday, a few days in advance. Due to two bad reviews, I was feeling a bit nervous, but I didn't need to be. The food was great, and when some technical issue came up with my bank where customers weren't able to access their money that day, I spoke to the restaurant, and they were amazingly helpful and nice about it, advising me not to use another card, or pay in cash, as I might end up paying twice. Thankfully, the banks technical issue was sorted by the next day, and all was well. I would recommend the food, and the portions they give you are big.

Grilled chicken salad is world class. Pistachio ice cream is also amazing. Amazing, quiet and cozy atmosphere. Clean and excellently decorated. Service is extremely friendly and very rare to find these days. Highly recommended, worth booking a table before hand but it's not too busy.

This is genuinely one of the most refined cuisines I have tasted with great service, it offers chef presentation with homemade authenticity and quality. The restaurant is a gem and the food exquisite, highly recommendable. I love their Ghorme Sabzi and range of vegetarian dishes.

Clean and tidy. The dinning room isn't particularly inviting or warm. Decent but basic service. Large portions, we tried lamb and the meat was nice, well cut and cooked. Very poor wine list. Nothing exceptional but very well priced overall.

I have eaten here many times. The food is authentic and consistently good. Service is friendly and helpful. We are always made to feel welcome. I would thoroughly recommend all the dishes, but my favourites have to be the ghorme sabzi, the slow cooked lamb shank and the saffron ice cream!

We have been to this restaurant for both eat-in and take-away on many occasions and very recently ordered different varieties of their menu for take-away for a birthday party for about 20 people. All our guests paid 5-star compliments for food, excellent taste and fresh ingredients. Staff are always friendly and provide excellent service when eat-in.

It’s so amazing! We had rice with zesty pomegranate, tender protein cooked to perfection, stuffed vine leaves full of flavour and surprisingly scrumptious saffron ice cream. 🍨 We washed it own with a pot of Persian tea which was presented so, so perfectly. ☕️ The place is priced well andit is great for groups. Great local restaurant. We were not familiar with Iranian cuisine but have become a fan. Very flavoursome recipes. We suggest you skip the grill and follow instance the waiter’s recommendations for traditional Persian dishes

Excellent Iranian food at very reasonable prices. Wonderfully tender and tasty kebabs and rich stews - strongly spiced but not hot,full of exotic combinations such as walnut and pomegranate. Only downsides were service was friendly but a little slow and wine list very limited.

Freshly cooked, unpretentious and deliciously flavoured Persian/Iranian meals. We got sabzi ghormeh (lamb stew with fenugreek, dried limes and kidney beans) and zereshk polo (saffron chicken with rice, barberries and pistachio) to take away. They were both excellent; Caspian has lots of other interesting specialities and grilled meats too. The portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. They're also selling some interesting deli goods (sweets, various syrups/juices, etc.) at the moment so definitely have a look at those. Looking forward to coming back.

Mains: Koobideh + Rice Best Persian kebab I’ve had in a long time. Most Persian restaurants I’ve tried in London are low on quality and very high in fat content plus season heavily with turmeric for flavour. This restaurant had flavour and quality. 10/10 Starters: Kashk Bademjoon and Mirza Noticed fresh ingredients used plus crunched walnuts which was a bonus. 10/10 Highly recommend. Will be visiting again soon.

Really lovely restaurant, clean very nicely presented and with a diverse menu. However, gets 4 stars instead of 5 because although there are what look like some very nice veggie dishes it has very limited options suitable for Vegans. Some suggestions, swap veggie Quorn for vegan Quorn or Tofu or Soya (or better still offer a choice) and vegetable dishes with pulses. Otherwise a really lovely restaurant and unique in the area, worth a visit.

We always held off trying this place, despite our love of middle eastern and Persian food, because whenever we walked by is was mostly empty. Given that the neighbouring restaurants are always rammed it was a bit of a red flag. However, one evening after failing to get a table at Luciano's we decided to bite the bullet and try Caspian. We tend to be quite early diners, which may explain why it was quiet, as otherwise it was great! The food is good and has some really unusual options. It's tasty and almost crazily cheap. If you live in the area it's definitely worth a pop-in for a quick and affordable meal.

On balance (price/quality) Caspian is unpretentiously offering one of the best Persian Cuisine experiences in London. It is a small, family run restaurant with warm and welcoming service. Their Baghali polo is great, their starters are almost as good as home made, stews (khoresht) are very good, the Kebabs are OK. Overall it is a decent Iranian restaurant with good service, high quality food and very reasonable prices.

One of London's best kept secrets. Delicious, unique food. The menu hasn't changed much over the years but they have become even better at cooking their classics such as fesenjan, geymeh and zereksh polo. Great value.
