We all enjoy a walk in the park (....barefoot if you're Jane Fonda and Robert Redford) and we all luuuurve pizza , so isn't the idyllic union of the two things a simply dreamful thing???? Collective is a lunch Pizza parlour in the middle of the radiant Kennington Park, sourdough pizza that is, a even healthier option than the traditional yeast based one, and the one served here is good....very, we were seated in the lovely white marquee in the front, large wooden tables, staff is friendly (most of we Italians are genetically friendly), they accept cards, a very little wait for a very big pleasure you'll get when you dive in that circular source of joy ( ......I'll get mine with extra cheese please...). I love outdoors, dont'cha????

My favourite local pizza place! The staff are always super great and sociable, they've been a lovely touch point through a tough year. I think the pizzas are fantastic, well made, flavoursome and speedy. I have had so many on the park, to take away etc and really I'll keep recommending them as they haven't disappointed yet. Well done for being such a wonderful business and really being quite the cornerstone to Kennington through these months.

I've only recently started working in Kennington and the discovery of this cafe has been a nice surprise. Up till now I've only ordered coffee. Today I decided to treat myself to a pizza. I'm vegan so I ordered a vegan margherita. The pizzas though thin are quite big. I had planned to doggy bag half of the pizza, but it was so nice, I ate the whole thing. 😋

Staff are always so friendly. I've had a tough year with my mental health but it's been great having a safe place nearby where I could just process my thoughts. It's run by a lovely family and their friends. Thank you for always making me feel welcome x

Was a lovely surprise finding this place on my lunch break and at first I assumed it was just a regular cafe so of course I was really excited seeing that they did handmade pizza! The new cafe has finally opened! After a year of waiting its good to be able to get a coffee and a bite to eat when walking through the park. We ordered two lattes, two slices of cake and a pizza. The coffees were worth stopping by again for a take away. The pizza made with sour dough was a bit too soggy in the middle, we assumed it was because the duck egg was underdone. It would be good to see other meat options and a possible breakfast menu. The texture of the cakes we felt were heavy. The staff looked overwhelmed. We are locals so look forward to another meal.

Awesome wood-fired pizza in a severely underrated park. There's really not much more to be said! The pizzas are delicious pizzas (probs second only to 50Kalo IMHO). One day I'll have to try something else from the menu! But the pizzas are hard to resist & a perfect way to refuel after a hard day of chillin in the sun with some friends. Do yourself a favor & eat these pizzas in the park.

Inevitably slow service due to Covid 19 restrictions but very popular on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Good cappuccino but you should really ask people enthusiastically munching on pizzas. Very popular, indeed. Recommended.

Great pizza and friendly staff, BUT they frequently get orders wrong. I’ve ordered about 10 times, and 9 of those 10 my ‘vegetarian’ garlic bread has been vegan (ie no cheese), a couple of times my added chopped tomatoes haven’t been added (despite costing £2), and once I got completely the wrong pizza.

The staff are really friendly and the pizzas have been excellent every time we've been with only a short wait. They could be a fraction bigger for the price but I won't knock a star off since hanging out in the park with pizza is a way nicer alternative to going to any pubs or bars at the moment.

Great covid 19 forethought operating *one person or group/party* one out policy, you have to pay by credit or debit card due to current situation no cash is accepted, the toilets are currently not in use, Regular coffee is £3 which to be fair is pretty expensive when you see the size of the takeaway cup you'll understand what I mean soya milk isn't available however they they have oatmilk to be fair i would personally avoid it I found it repulsive but we all have different tastes. Pizzas available, various sandwiches, ice creams and cakes.

The BEST FODMAP friendly pizza in London! I have discovered these pizzas are FODMAP friendly and I will never eat a sad gluten free pizza again!! The sourdough is long prove (I believe they said 72 hours) so that part is FODMAP safe and the tomato sauce is garlic and onion free so also a big tick there. They also do vegan cheese if you need lactose free although I haven’t tried this/checked it for other fodmaps. SO happy to have found this place and would highly recommend the pizzas to anyone following the fodmap diet and to anyone who isn’t too because they are genuinely delicious!

A family run business managed with care and love offers beautiful sourdough pizza with top quality ingredients, for vegetarians too. And if you're more in the mood for something sweet, they have amazing home cooked cakes to have with your choice of coffee or tea. Enjoy!

The cafe's been lovingly refurbished and serves the best pizza I've had in ages. The ice creams are great too - we had the chocolate and raspberry. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. Plus looking out over the park with seating inside and out. Will be back soon.

Very lovely little cafe. My friend and I were served by an absolutely charming, friendly and kind gentleman called Oliver - if you are lucky enough to be served by him, ask him about his guinea pigs! Kennington Park is lovely, there is a fantastic area behind the cafe dedicated to bees (they have several hives) and this cafe makes a wonderful stop off point. Highly recommend.

Greetings All, I have to tell you about Kennington Park Café. I have used this place for many years now and with each year that goes by this place warms my heart. Everyone comes by babies, mums, dads, grandparents, the workers form around the area, dogs oooooh by the way many of them past by too even the dogs respect the place hahahaaa.. This place is very clean. The hot chocolate is WICKED and the food is good too, You see people meeting up also small group having meetings small private parties and art and craft group are there on a Sunday. Its the heart of the park and a big part of the community, the owner and his staff are too cool for words they will always try to help you., Knitty Bitty Crafters Just Loves This Space,

Kennington Park Cafe is now re-opened and operated by the lovely owners of Collective by Sugar Pot. They have re-constructed the old Cafe building inside and outside too. Bringing it back alive. They serve freshly baked pastry and their tasty organic pizza right from the oven too! Ice cream for kids, cold drinks for runners and smiles for everyone is served every day except Mondays. Local tip: Try the Spicy boy pizza! It's yummy!

Simple scenario - its a Saturday, your 2 year old is bored, you live in Southwark. What do you do? Kennington Park cafe sits next to an excellent play park. It sells good coffee, ice cream and CAKE! Every week now I can watch my son playing in the sandpit while enjoying a cup of coffee and a sticky bun. But the cafe itself is very smart, with good outside seating and is accessible to all. Good times. One drawback is the number of dog owners, but then it is in the middle of a park.

Pizzas are lovely. Great doughs. BUT the prices are outrages for what it is… Especially the coffee…! The oat latte, i paid £3.90…! Service is depending on who you see and when you go. Some staffs are so lovely and friendly. Some are just so rude. I have been to this place about 10 times before writing this review.
