Me and my partner came here for our anniversary, the server was amazing and tended to all our needs. The atmosphere and location are the main wins. I enjoyed the dishes but have definitely had better Italian. The tapas concept isn’t the worst it was nice to try the different dishes. Overall would definitely come back, but for the price I’d keep it for special occasions!

Beautiful restaurant, ideal for a date or any romantic setting. Super instagrammable as well if that is your thing. The food is tapas style, fresh, good quality ingredients and beautifully presented in rustic plates. Now, we didn’t have any issues with the food but with the service, something that didn’t really make us calmly enjoy are lunch. As soon as you order, you are expected to eat as each plate arrives while being asked by the staff if you need anything. In theory it’s nice to have attentive staff but not every 15 minutes. There was overall a feeling of urgency and as soon as we were there for an hour the check-ins from the staff increased. I fully understand that the restaurant has reservations (although empty during our 1,5hrs there) and time limits on dining but the way it’s communicated ruins the atmosphere the restaurant is trying to achieve. Overall, considering everything, the food is good - not mind blowing - yet expensive. The highlight of the menu is the ferrero dessert.

First aspect about this restaurant is the decor is absolutely stunning. We really felt like we were in a garden in Italy with miniature replicas of classic Italian sculptures like Michael Angelo's David. We started off ordering drinks which was difficult. We wanted single measures for our drinks and we were told that they only sold doubles. After explaining we were driving and it was a single or water, the waiter seemed a bit flummoxed then went back to talk to the manager. I felt like I was trying to buy a car. They, thankfully, agreed to a single and we got our drinks. Food was well presented, but didn't taste as good as it looked. Nothing really blew me away, and I really wanted it to be fantastic as I am a big fan of sharing and the tapas style and had never had the pleasure of experiencing this with Italian food. We didn't take pictures of all the food, but we did order: Arancini with Parmesan and Fontina cheese - my first time tasting arancini, decent and I enjoyed it but I don't have anything to compare it to Beef Carpaccio with Pesto and Parmesan - the pesto overpowered the meat somewhat, but still good and we finished it quickly Steak Tartar with Sweet Mustard - tasted like good quality meat and the mustard gave it a nice edge Orange Salad (the correct name escapes me) - citrusy, fresh, maybe a little too sweet although I did still enjoy the combination of sweet and tangy Tagliatelle with Shaved Truffle - my favourite of the dishes we ordered, surprisingly. Given the size and uniformity in shape of the shavings, I don't think this was scraped from an actual truffle, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Overall decent food let down by service. Price is ok for the prime location. I probably won't return, but if you're looking for an Italian tapas experience there aren't many around so give it a shot. We went early at about 7.30pm and by 8.30pm the place was full so if you want some ambience, book later.

Truly a hidden gem in London. The place may not seem too glamorous from the outside, but once you step in it truly is an amazing experience. The food is incredible, the staff is great, and the atmosphere is charming. Definitely coming back here again! Charming Italian eatery in the heart of Kensington High Street. Food arrives when ready so a main can arrive before a smaller plate. We had a lovely (Romanian) waitress, I didn’t catch her name but she deserves a mention for being super friendly and knowledgeable. Food was tasty and rich and fully of flavour. The carpaccio was devine. Next time I’d choose a seat inside the restaurant.

Suuuper suuuuper delicious food! We were amazed and did not expect this food to be that tasty! This restaurant definitely deserves highest reviews as it has now (October 2021). Very nice and friendly staff! Regarding the food, I’d recommend to take burrata and aranchini for starters! Also wanna mention that in this restaurant if they say it’s made with truffles, then you can actually taste the truffles! So hit you like truffles, then I highly recommend to take dishes with truffles here! Delicious ice cream as well! And the homemade bread is supper delicious melting in the mouth! We also took the lamb chops, not the best ones in the life, but good as well. I feel they were a bit fat, the meat itself. The lobster pasta was also not for everyone. The lobster shell was a part of decoration and empty, the actual lobster meat was in the pasta. I also liked the risotto with truffles. The Ferrero roche desert was ok, I was expecting better. Was too sweet. Overall, it’s a really nice restaurant and the food is amazing, highly recommend to visit if you’ll be around this area. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food, what’s needed more for such a good restaurant?

Really nice atmosphere and delicious food. The setting is really the best part of this place, the trees and plants everywhere add a charming vibe. The best is the olive tree in the middle - I highly recommend grabbing the table at the Centre under the olive tree. Food wise, the burrata was very good, the focaccia was excellent, and the pesto pasta was very rich and flavorful. I liked the gnocchi and the fried courgette a bit less - they were fine, but a bit bland for the courgette and a bit too heavy for the gnocchi. But I’m not really a gnocchi person so that might be why.. Finally the service is really good - with friendly and attentive staff throughout the night!

A neat little italian place near Kensington Palace nestled away in busy Central London, good for a proper meetup with someone or dates. No loud music, just a proper calm ambience so you can focus on who you are with and not where you are. Its a plus that the decor is beautiful, a lot of fake greens but beautiful. The food is 10/10, one of the best Italian food in the city. Price is on the more expensive end of of spectrum but definitely not crazy expensive. Its sorta what you’d expect from the location.

Como Garden located just off the heart of High street Kensington was a lavish treat that lived up to the occasion. Como Garden is Italian restaurant which specialises on tapas or food sharing concept. The menu does not serve your typical big plates of pasta or pizza so if you want pasta or pizza this isn't for you. What they do do is fine small plates which is more flavour and quality over quantity. Food we ordered a variety across the menu so the highlights for me was the veal milanese ( fried bread crumb veal steak) which was crispy on the outside and tender succulent on the inside, the parmigiana (baked aubergine with parmesan) was absolutely delicious. You must order the Tiramisu it was so creamy and delicious, was it down with a single espresso the perfect compliment to end the meal. While the meal was absolutely great I felt for the price some dishes lacked the finesse the price tag demands. Overall it was a lovely experience the waitress we had was very attentive and funny which made the eye watering bill worth it. Definitely a one off lavish experience but we all deserve a treat like Como Gardens.

Located on Kensington High Street opposite Kensington Palace is the elegant Como Garden. The whole look and feel of the restaurant is just what makes it special for in the heart of the high street. The seating is fresh and comfortable. Italian food at it's best. Tasty and nicely portioned dishes to choose from. From the famous calamari to lasagna sea bass. The ambience is perfect for business or leisure as the bunkets allow you to be as discreet as you may need to be. Service is seamless. The wine and cocktail selection is a great variety. Pleasant experience dining out and great hospitality. The dessert a special favourite Ferrero rocher ,simply delicious. It a must restaurant to visit.

The restaurant is very cool and the staff very attentive, gentle and professional. The food is good, definitively better the appetizers. We had tonnarelli cacio e pepe and tagliatelle with mushrooms. The pasta itself was good and well cooked. The cacio e pepe was a little liquid and just tepid, the mashrooms in the tagliatelle could have been better if they were porcini (boletus edulis). We then had a veal Milanese cutlet. It was good. We are Italian so probably a little hard in our judgement. Anyway I consider this one of the nicest Italian restaurant in London (at least among the ones I've tried in the last 7 years).

On the site of the restaurant Aubaine, beware the same step down from street level! After that, experience a more intimate atmosphere and a menu with a difference. As with tapas-style dining, the recommendation is to choose 3 to 4 dishes per person but make it 3 maximum if one of them is the medium dish and no one wants to share it. The lasagne is delicious but easily enough for two if accompanied/preceded by two small dishes. The cheapest bottle of red wine (Sicilian) is £33 but French can be over £100. At my request, the music was turned down - a fraction only - so if you want to eat and talk, maybe choose a table outside. Hence only 4 stars!

Como Garden is the best Italian restaurant I have been to in all of London - and trust me I have tried many. This restaurant convinces through a very clean and modern atmosphere created by the tasteful and contemporary interior design. Furthermore, they offer soul food, which is of an amazingly high quality. The way the food is treated and presented is outstanding and every time I come here I really feel like I am sitting directly by Lake Como enjoying original food like super fresh lobster pasta and the best pesto I have ever eaten. The restaurant is very open yet exclusive and the staff is super welcoming, which gives an experience to an extent, which is as welcoming as Italian hospitality. Keep up the great work!

What can I say,definitely a place where you can experience some REAL taste of Italy,something you can not say about the most of the Italian spots around London where they serve you dishes that Italy never seen. Como Garden is different,I found the Menu very interesting, I would have tried everything, literally. I had Gnocchi With Gorgonzola And Caramelized Walnut, which was unbelievable and then I've had the Grilled Octopus, something I can't wait to eat again. Unfortunately I was not able to taste any Dessert as after those two dishes I was so full!! Claudio was just amazing, as much as the food!! See you next week!!

My wife recently took me here for my birthday and we loved it!! The service was great and the food even better (with excellent presentation). We were late for our reservation but they were extremely accommodating and sat us at a nice table. We had the Aubergine Parmigiana, Carpaccio, Truffle Tagliattoni, Baby Chicken, and Sea Bass. All were fantastic with excellent flavour profiles. The prices were a little high but not unreasonable and definitely not high considering the quality, ambiance, service, and location. Will definitely go back and recommend.

I went this week to Como for dinner for their opening week. I was absolutely amazed by the food, service and decoration! The theme has been inspired on Lake Como, and I immediately felt transported there. Although it was just newly opened, service was perfectly aligned, staff were super friendly, the dishes tasted great, and the overall experience was just fantastic. I am so happy to have this amazing Italian near me so I can go whenever I feel like having a heavenly plate of pasta! What a unique experience with a welcoming ambience! Nestled in Kensington, this Italian tapas restaurant offers fine service, a plethora of flavorful dish, and an excellent assortment of cocktails and Italian wine. The Arancini were scrumptious, the Sicilian orange salad was fresh, the fried zucchini was addictive, and the gnocchi and pasta all a Norma were outstanding. The lemon chicken dish is well worth it too. Pace yourself and savor the fine cuisine. If there is room for dessert, try the lemon meringue pie and sorbet. Mangiati!

This weekend I discovered this incredible new gem on Kensington High Street. I was completely amazed at the beauty of the restaurant which is a warm and intimate setting and transports you to Lake Como, the outstanding service and the incredible food. Honestly there is nothing like it. A must try for all: Trofie pesto pasta, Carbonara, Cacio Pepe, Gnocchi with Gorgonzola, Vitello tonato, Burrata, Sea bass. All dishes were a 10/10, I have never been so food happy before. The deserts were spectacular as well we had the tiramisu, almond cake and Como rocher. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. At the end I found out that it was from the same owners as Zuaya which is literally just next door and it all make sense as it is my favourite restaurant in Kensington. Excellent Italian restaurant in Kensington. I have ordered food for my family this weekend and we, children included, have enjoyed every bite from starters (we had arancini, carpaccio and confit artichokes) to the main courses (gnocchi, carbonara & lasagna) to the dessert (almond tart & tiramisu)! We also tried the meats and the ossobuco is the best you can find in London! I am very happy for this find and I’m looking forward to enjoying a dinner date at the restaurant! Well done Como Garden!

The ambience is so cool, it seems like you are dining abroad, in an Italian garden, the service was impeccable and the waiter took great care of our table. It is a tapas inspired menu, so we shared all the plates. You must try their arancini and their big raviolis and don't forget to order dessert, the cannolo scomposto is the best way to end a beautiful Italian meal!

I went to Como for dinner for their opening week with my boyfriend to try their Italian food in tapas style. We had ordered as a cocktails to start a Como fizz, very tasty lemon drink and Lago Amaranto a mix of limoncello and blackberries notes. As a started we had to share fried calamari with lemon and 2 arancini with parmesan and fontina cheese which were flavourful. As a main we had ordered a gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts and fresh trofie pasta with pesto . Everything was perfect from starter to main. We just felt in love and we are still ordering by delivery! We’ll go back as soon as they’ll reopen it!

Genuine Italian food - you MUST try the fontina and parmesan arancini and the tagliatelle al Ragu'. The service is attentive and impeccable and the venue is beautiful with a massive olive tree in the middle that creates a lovely and relaxing atmosphere.

This has been the best finding of this week! I am so happy that this restaurant has opened in Kensington and that, being Italian, I finally have a proper Italian restaurant in my neighbourhood!
