Reviews of GoGo Pocha
M. L.
Dinner was great, it’s a small place so it’s best to call to check if they have a table. Price is really good for what you are getting. Portions are decent. Not the most authentic Korean place but close enough. No free side dishes though, so that was disappointing. But definitely coming back
C. S.
Delicious food after a hard days work, the bibimbap comes in a hot bowl and the kimchi pancake was very tasty 😋. A small place but cosy.
F. w. o.
3.8 stars / 5 it could be much better.
The fried squid and pork with spicy source is recommended.
The bibimbap is okay.
Don’t get the stew with beef - maybe get the tofu one. Because there was only a few pieces of beef and it was quite hard to chew.
The ribs look pretty good but we didn’t order.
In general, it was not a bad experience when it was freezing outside
D. M.
Really enjoyed my impromptu meal here. Good value for money, extremely tasty, super quick and great service, nice vibes. Will definitely be back
b. r.
it was a busy sunday evening, lots of groups eating hot pot and having a great time, good vibes all round.
service was good, waiter helped with the menu and the hot pot (I naively tried to serve it up before it was ready, don't do that)
menu highlights: kimchi pancake, hotpot (obv) and the pork belly.
all mighty tasty.
A. B.
We came here cause my sister recommended it and we were not sorry. The food was amazing. I had jajang and side dishes, and the rest of the party had other dishes and we just all shared. Drinks we had soju and beer. It was soooo good. Definitely would come again!
S. A.
Food is OK
Place looks a bit rustic, but in kind of a good way
Kimchi tasted very nice
Bibimbap was ok
Teriyaki chicken was a bit too overdone with the chicken, lots of overcooked crispy bits, some pieces a little too hard to chew
Salad served on side did not look too fresh, had to pass it
A. B.
Loved it. I wasn't expecting anything too unique but this place definitely had a very distinguished flavour with each dish and none were poor. The seafood pancake was soft but but had plenty of content. The vegetable glass noodles you'd think should normally be a fairly plain dish but nothing like that, it was very tasty. The meats were gizzard and beef. Both tasted very nice with the beef having a very nice smoky flavour without being chewy. And to top it up they had a great pear juice in a can, never had it before, loved it.
The place itself is small, so book in advance, but has a nice cozy feel to it. And the service was very friendly with the food served fairly quick even though the place was full.
K. R.
We needed to wait in the queue for a while but it was completely worthy!!!
The food was AWESOME!!!
Definitely coming back!
Y. K.
Went there by accident for dinner with a few drinks. Surprised to see that they serve so many interesting items for reasonable prices. Definitely wanna go back.
S. N.
I would totally recommend this small cute place! The Kimchi pancake was delicious and the staff who served us was very friendly. It wasn't that expensive either.
A.
We had a noodle dish, a stew and a seafood pancake. They all tasted very well, so we were happy.
The dishes were reasonably priced.
The service was polite and friendly. The only downside was that they brought the bill without being asked for it.
The atmosphere was alright. The set-up was a bit uncomfortable as we were quite close to others and my seat was right next to the wall.
m. c. l.
The Korean chicken was too sweet.
My tofu stew didn't have ANY mussels in it. Told the staff and they didn't give a discount, just said sorry. The portion for the stew was good. Liked everything else. Tight space though.
J. G.
Awesome little Korean spot in Waterloo, very close to the station and extremely good.
The staff were very quick and friendly. The food came out lightening fast and the whole place had a very authentic vibe. Great beef bugulgi with amazing side sauces, including their spicy sauce, be sure to add a little of that on whatever you get
L. L.
Open late on a Sunday, that was a blessing.
Although the place is small it's very cosy. The staff is great. The food is awesome. I can't wait to go back. And thanks for the Korean Hip-hop inspiration ;)
P. W.
We thought we'd give this place a go after hearing some good things, and we weren't disappointed. When we arrived there was one other table occupied, by the time we went the place was packed so that says it all. The food was excellent, good sized portions and great flavour. Bit of a hidden gem and we will definitely be back.
J. Y.
Delicious little Korean restaurant. good price and generous amount. spicy bbq pork belly one of the best I’ve ever had. Kimchi pancake was good too as well as the Mandu.would return for sure!
G. K.
Omg I love it. Little hole in the wall place, very good value Korean food, serving staff helpful and friendly and will assist you with Korean food pronunciation if you ask for help. Really cheap considering location as well and also SO tasty. Highly recommended.
B. T.
Great lunch deal from 12-3. Good selection on the lunch menu. I went for the vegetarian Bibimbap and it was £7 dine in, £6 take away. No service charge, food came quickly and was a huge portion with two sides and a soup.
They also have a chilli sauce you can use for your rice. Definitely will be back!
N. J.
Dont be fooled by its modest storefront: they provide delicious, authentic Korean fare. We were hungry when we walked in, but we were stuffed walking out.
C. B. K.
Good for what it is - more lower end of the scale of Korean fast food restaurant.
Have a good selection of food, with my favourite - Kimchi jeon.
Been here a few times now and enjoy the food each time.
C. Y.
Location! Near Waterloo Station. We fancied eating Korean food and we came across this very quiet restaurant.
Food: We ordered a Beef Udon and chicken noodle with orange juice.
The food was very nice and potions were excellent! We really enjoyed our food and we would go back again. I think that is enough to sum up the food!
Workers: The person who served us says on the receipt he is the owner. If that is true, he was excellent. He even brought us water when we didn’t ask for it! Now that is what you call great customer service!
Recommended? Yes, because we went for lunch. The price is excellent value! Infact, it is the best value Korean place. I will definitely go back that is for sure. I don’t tend to go back to placed often, and for us to say we will go back, that means we loved it!
Thank you!
L. W.
This is a fabulous place for Korean food. If I could give it 6 stars I would. The staff recommendations were amazing. Can't wait to go back very soon. Bibimbap is my new food love!!!💚
F. W.
Food was good and priced on the cheaper side of things which is always nice.
Service was also prompt. Overall no negative remarks but nothing outstanding either.
B.
Great food and drinks, good service. A really nice atmosphere!
S. S.
Lovely staff. Food is decent, nothing super special - it’s just a pretty solid place with good portion sizes and prices.
F. T.
I’ve been here many times, I like the seafood pancake which tastes crispy and not too hard or-too soft. The rice cake pot stew is perfect portion for two people to share, the soup is not too spicy but a bit sweet for me, so I would give 4.5 star this time.
C. Y. C.
Dinner was great, it’s a small place with good price
J. L.
Had rice cake, stone bibimbap and cold noodles(no.49 on the menu). Stone bibimbap was good. Rice cake was great, but the portion was toooo tiny, only about 8 rice cakes or sth. The cold noodles lacked flavour, would not recommend the cold noodles.
D. G.
Enjoyed authentic Korean food at affordable prices. Especially the Korean bbq beef and soju were reminiscent of my time in Singapore. Worth a visit
J. M.
On a Sunday afternoon we expected the place to be less crowded, but it was a packed house. My favorite would probably be the kimchi fried rice. It was spicy, nice and hot. Food was fresh and sizzling when we got them. Although the bulgogi took a little longer than the kimchi. Overall we were well satisfied with the food and price.
S.
Nice and fast but without any pressure. Sauces not too sweet, there is plenty of choice in the menu. I've got crunchy dumplings, kimchi, the rice and tofu in the hot stone and fried kimchi with bulgogi. £25. Not bad at all!
L.
I only got a take away, but it was delicious, especially the kimchi pancakes. Also, very friendly staff
D. “. D.
The food sure is very good. Beware that the place is small and if busy you will have to wait to be seated. The decoration inside is all black, somehow hiding the fact that is a pretty small place. All staff are very friendly and patient. Located near Waterloo rail and underground station.

THE PERFECT LOWER MARSH EATERY...
Having left the BFI Imax Cinema in Waterloo my guest and I were on a quest to getting something post film to eat.
Having lived in the area some years ago we opted to find out what was on Lower Marsh as all the good restaurants on Waterloo Road had long since been replaced by chains or supermarkets.
Many of the places I used to frequent on Lower Marsh had long since gone too. A walk the entire length only produced 3 options (the area seemed incredibly quiet for a Wednesday night).
GoGo had a queue outside, was buzzing and busy inside and looked like a place that had been thrown together rather than designed - which appealed immensely.
We were quickly seated at a table for 4 which very quickly had to share with another 2 guests (which was totally acceptable).
The service was warm, charming (we discovered later this was a family & friends run establishment) and efficient.
My guest ordered her first ever cold soup, the Buckwheat Noodles with Radish & Cucumber (£7), I the Fried Kimchi, Chicken & Vegetables with Spicy Sauce (£8) and we shared a Rice (£1.50) & Sweetcorn with Cheese (£5) - In essence £10 per head (without booze).
The portion sizes were excellent and the food well cooked.
My chicken was wonderfully spicy and was just the comfort food that was required.
The cheese corn was a tasty surprise.
Staff checked all was well, tap water was brought in a bottle to our table and the Korean Hite Beer was a lovely accompaniment.
Lower Marsh was always about inexpensive, home-styled food in cheap surroundings and this place matched everything perfectly.
So if you're looking for something, quick, inexpensive, spicy, filling and tasty post an IMAX Cinema or Theatre (Young & Old Vic minutes away) visit - then this is definitely the Lower March classic place to come.
S. T.
Pretty much a hole in the wall! But what food! Yum.. they do not have a lot of seating space and they ask you to wait till your turn comes. Very reasonably priced, so you won’t burn a whole in your pocket for sure. We were 4 of us and the bill was 25£per head including drinks! Seafood cake was amazing, so was the bibimbap and the soup pot. A must visit! 😊
F. A.
Amazing
I ordered mandoo, steamed eggs, kimchi and cheese chicken. I was a little greedy but that's why their food is so good. 더 음식 먹고 싶어요
Q. T.
Food is very delicious with a reasonable price. We ordered baby octopus big stew which came in a big portion with octopus and beef in it. The glass noodles are really good! Overall the stew is not so spicy and tastes good. The spicy BBQ pork also came in big portion and is tasty but we would prefer if it could be spicer and less sweet! Would go again to try bibimbap if I have the chance!
A. S.
There's a line of people there every evening, and I can understand why. They serve some authentic Korean dishes. And when I say authentic, I mean extremely spicy, in a good way. And the price is extremely good.
B. G.
Love this place. I discovered it through a friend, now every time I visit London, I go there at least once. Delicious food, good price, friendly staff.
N. C.
No.1 Korean in London, the most Korean like food I could find. My standard set is Tobokki with fish cake and the fried kimchi chicken. Never disappoints.
O. K.
The food and the service is really good. We had starters and hot pot with seafood. Previous experience was good, too. Try their salmon with teriyaki sauce. The place is often quite busy. So, you might have to wait for about 10-20 minutes to get seated.
A. L.
we love this Korean restaurant although it is a bit of walking from the underground. It is a small restaurant so so we come early to get a table. the ordered every plate dumpling spicy rice cake , pork bone soup bibimbap they were delicious. The servers are very friendly and polite We ate and chatted. They didn't rush us. the only thing I do not like this the restaurants too small. They should expend.there is wifi
R. D.
Super close to Waterloo station. A real gem of a place. Gorgeous food, lovely staff. Have been there twice and will absolutely be back again!
A. S.
Amazing and affordable Korean food!!
L. G.
Very authentic and tasty, very spicy. Service is great.
J.
Me and my friend had to wait a little bit outside before we could sit down. I went for the bibimbap and it was absolutely amazing, I wish I stayed in London for a longer period of time so I could try out more of their dishes.
I. B.
Great food, decent prices.
The kimchi pancake is super tasty.
It's a small and busy place so you may need to queue for a bit to be seated.
B.
Great place for authentic Korean food. The food and the service was great. I would recommend the kimchi pancake , rice cake , bibimbap and the tofu stews.
D. Q.
Great spot to eat! Decent prices, great for sharing. Had their octopus and rib big soup pot which was delish. It's Cash Only tho, which was abit annoying as it was raining outside
M. A.
Wonderful food and well priced. A must visit if you want to Korean food.
M. W.
Cosy and tardisous place. Food served super fast and tastes awesome. The barman and waitress are south Koreans so I guess it's authentic too. Had kimchi stew and the portion is a bit small but quite filling. Rice is amazing.
M. P.
Non-descript little place with authentic Korean food, well made, good portions and reasonably priced. Moderate selection of Korean and other alcohol, attentive and friendly service.
R.
My first time eating Korean food. GoGo Pacha has an extensive menu, so lots of dishes to try. The food was tasty and it came out the kitchen quick, and seemed fresh. Really good value for money considering the location. Attentive staff.
Unfortunately they only have tables of fours and twos, so if you're in a larger party, you may need to split up.
j. v. d. B.
Delicious kimchi and seafood pancakes. Pork belly lush. Staff friendly and helpful.
x.
Tasty, fast and decent value. What's not to like? Lovely little indie eatery in the chain-filled Waterloo area... Atmospheric and authentic, the crisped rice in the bibimbap was particularly delicious! Get here before 6 to beat the rush...
Y. L.
Love coming to this restaurant. Delicious food, quick service, could do with a better selection of non beer alcoholic drinks though. Always leave this place with a full and happy stomach 🙂
F. A.
Love the food, from simple kimchi to jajangmyeon, I love it all. Yes the place could be more confortable, true sometimes you order a beer and you get sparkling water, but personally I don't care when the food is that good and at such a low price to central London standards.
s.
Really cosy place, not hipster and decently priced food. Salmon steak and kimichi pancake recommended.
R. L.
I ordered spicy soft tofu stew from lunch menu. It was a big portion. Great price, great food.
T. L.
Large authentic menu at great prices. Cozy with local charm and nice Korean pop playing in the background. Note, was cash only when we visited.
A. H.
Small family run restaurant with good price at central location. But please be careful, the fried chicken is not deep fried chicken.
E. N.
Fast & friendly service, and the food taste are very nice.
But the place are abit small, and no washroom provided
Sometimes have to queue, suggest come after lunch times and dinner times hours
R. M. M.
Sat at the counter and had a couple of very good dishes washed down with plum wine for a reasonable price. Service was abrupt and the person I assume was the owner clearly wanted to clear the house at the end of a long day.
A counter meant that I didn't have to wait for a table to free up as the place was packed.
K. Y.
We love this place, often go for the lunch set which is only £4.99 for a big plate of delicious food, the menu has various of tasty options at a really good price!!! Highly recommended, the staffs are friendly, always a joy to go here. So glad we found it because it was a lucky find :)
A. C.
Decent Korean food, the lunch menu is particularly good value
G. G.
Mix Chinese and Korean food. We had korean pancakes and Bibimp. Delicious
P. A. P.
I love this little Korean. I've been going for a few years now and the food is fab. I love the lunchtime hotpots, they are divine. Great price too. Yum.
F. T.
it was great, its hard to find propper korean food, but this was very tasty
G. M.
Really good Korean. Great to discover authentic Korean food, hidden away in Lambeth North (of all places)!
T. M.
Authentic food at good prices.
Lovely stuff.
N. A. A. A.
Loved everything. Have been there twice will definitely come with friends next time.
S. T.
A range of dishes including sides of miso soup and vegetables all for £6. I had the spicy pork with rice, nice kick and generous portion, incredible value for sit down restaurant
J. C.
One of the few Korean restaurants serving proper raw beef and egg bimbimbap. Tables can be tight so be prepared to rub shoulders with strangers!
R. B.
Delicious food, friendly, helpful and happy staff. Will visit again!
S. L.
Very good Korean flavours in a very Korean-like environment full of mainly Koreans as customers.
A. R.
Lovely place, great service and incredible food!
c.
Very cute and small restaurant on Lower Marsh. Delicious Korean food at a very good price! Lovely staff.
J. H.
Very good food! Fast and polite service
N. W.
Very nice and decent Korean food near Waterloo. My bimbimbap was pretty good but would be keen to try more of their dishes!
F. B.
Incredible food, excellent service. Thank you!
미.
It was amazing!! Thank you very much!! I really loved the place. Definitely gonna come back 🤩😍😍
H. J. K.
Had a lovely time at this restaurant! Decided to go for a hot kimchi stew pot because it was raining and cold and it really did not disappoint! They were very generous with the ingredients and the price was very decent. Honestly one of the best Korean restaurants in central London!
R. H.
Authentic Korea food, a bit crowded but warm comfortable.
M.
Good choice, with a range of classic Korean food (bibimbap, kimchi), quick service and decent prices (mostly under £10 for a main). The lunch deal looks like a particularly good offering. This is a good place for a quick and tasty meal, rather than something slower, as staff are unsurprisingly keen to turn over the tables to new customers quickly- queues can build outside, even on a weekday.
R. E.
Full of Korean people is a great sign. Going back again
R. P.
Great Korean restaurant where you can try good rice and noodle dishes, but at the same time Korean beer and desserts
S. B.
Amazing food, first time I tried Korean food, came to the best place. Very flavorful and tasty.
c.
Used to come here regularly when located near Denmark Street before that building was flattened for redevelopment. Happy to rediscover it now in Southwark. Good atmosphere, unpretentious, 9 times out of 10 you get really tasty food (though there is the occasional off day or dish). Love the glass noodles, pancake and beef ribs.
S. H.
Good quality food and decent value for money.
J. K.
Really good food here guys. Real good
P. M.
Was looking for somewhere to eat prior to going to the Old Vic and found this great traditional Korean restaurant only 5 minutes walk away in Lower Marsh. The dumpling starter was delicious, as was the Belly pork in spicy sauce main dish. All at a very reasonable price. Be warned, the place is small and cramped and gets very busy, but service is friendly and efficient. There is a sister restaurant just around the corner that can take some of the overflow. Will be back!
E. O.
Tasty food and lovely staff but they completely forgot to bring our mains 🤣 would have loved metal chopsticks instead of throw away wooden ones but thats just personal preference :)
L. E.
Lovely food at a great price. I particularly enjoyed the Kim chi pancake and the barbecue eel. Service was pretty standard. The tea was poor and actually quite expensive given that it's a teabag and water. The seating area near the front of the restaurant is very cramped, I didn't enjoy that part of the experience at all. I will go back, only next time I'll ask to sit somewhere else.
C. L.
Decent Korean food. Has a decent selection and the quality of the food isn't bad either. Lunch it's only about £5. Dinner is only really a couple pounds now for similar dishes. It is am Asian restaurant though, so don't go in expecting first class dining service. This is no frills and worth it.
D. C.
service was a bit rushed since we were in the last 30 minutes. food was great though, came out fast, and they gave great recommendations.
J. L.
The spicy chicken with cheese was really good !!! all the food arrived quickly and hot. The staff were very friendly and inviting, served everyone with a bright smile. High recommend going here for authentic Korean food and an authentic Korean restaurant experience. Will defiantly be being coming back again and telling everyone to check it out !!!
F. C.
Love this place. I work nearby and come over from time to time when I have a long break.
It is a tiny place, with an almost post-war feeling inside. There is a wide selection of drinks, including soju cocktails. Food is down to earth and delicious, very reasonably priced for the area the restaurant is at. Staff are attentive and friendly.
t.
Freshly prepared, tasty, good authentic food, reasonably priced, friendly staff.
M. K.
Fantastic food, really good and helpful staff who can also make sure that can make the changes to your food to suit you (i.e. vegan). Authentic and very reasonably priced.
Staff have been really knowledgeable and appreciate good food. Kimchie pancake was heavenly.
The only negative is that you HAVE to make sure that you ask them to take the gratuity OUT of the final bill as it does NOT go to staff if you pay with your card . In this way you can give it to them directly as cash. I made sure the owner knew this was a terrible practice.
S. K.
I often visited around lunch time where they have a brilliant meal deal(set menu) for £6. Also food is authentic and tasty! Customer service is excellent. I've been for dinner too, around 9pm, it was quite packed. If you opt for lunch then make sure to carry cash!
E. L.
Had a tasty jajangmyon together with some music by DEAN (Korean rnb), great staff and atmosphere
P. O.
This is an authentic Korean cafe/restaurant. They do a great lunch time offer for £5 including miso soup, rice and a main. The food is fast and tasty. If you are not a fan of Asian or Korean food some of the flavors may be unfamiliar but not unpleasant. If you are a fan of Asian or Korean food you should enjoy it very much. This is not fine dining, it is a canteen style place. The staff are friendly and efficient. They serve Korean and Asian beers. Not really suitable for large groups, buggies, or wheelchairs as they don't have much space.
A. R.
While the service was nice, friendly and the atmosphere ok, the food did not raise up to the expectations. I had a Bibimbap with a side disk of kimchi and the vegetables form my Bibimbap were not fresh. They cucumber (or it was zuchinni?) tasted like it was sliced the day before, meaning it had that sour taste vegetable have when they start to spoil.
J. M.
Really good food, helpful staff when you've no idea what you want. The recommendations were spot on and the Korean tourists next to us confirmed that the food was good and typical of Korea... Can't get a better endorsement than that!
K. T.
We arrived just after 6:30 and the place started filling up after us. The staff were very friendly and I was impressed with the menu. There was a lot to choose from and we decided to go for their bimbimbaps and kimchi pancake. They came very quickly and tasted great! They were served in a sizzling stone pot which when mixed made the meal delicious.
I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to try some Korean food!
R. L.
Awesome spot for some Korean food. They bring it out quick but you may have to order extras because the portions can leave you hungry for more. Lovely little hole in the wall with extremely patient staff!
R. W.
A really good, laid-back Korean restaurant. The food here is really good (the stone Bibimbab is fantastic, and the egg roll with cheese a really tasty side) and it's very chilled, unfussed and simple. The only reason I've not given it five stars is that the staff seemed a little disinterested and, whilst friendly enough, weren't quite as warm and welcoming as I've experienced in other restaurants. But for a simple, nourishing, good-quality Korean meal, this is a great spot.
M. K.
A small restaurant with some delicious food. The staff was very friendly as well.
K. S.
Amazing little Korean restaurant in the heart of Waterloo. Cheap and cheerful, fast service and very good food. The lunchtime specials are tasty, well prepared and quick. Well worth a visit for a bite to eat in your lunch hour
A. T.
I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Korean food, I crave it really badly then I’m always disappointed 🙁. This time we went to Po Cha in Waterloo for dinner and it wasn’t bad at all! I opted for the bibimbap and rice cake and they were both so good. I chose the seafood bibimbap and there was so much squid in it and not enough prawns. Other than that, the stone bowls came in sizzling and the rice was so warm it was delicious.
M. B.
Iv'e been here brfore for an evening meal, but tried them for lunch this time.
I sat at the 'bar' which is ideal if you are eating on your own. You can nod to your fellow singletons or prop you phone up and ignore everyone :)
I ordered a lunch bibimbap, which is nice because it comes with a small soup portion and some side dishes of picles. I like this because my pet hate is going to Korean places where you just get the dishes you ordered, and all extra 'pickle dishes' come as an extra - usually at a stupidly high price for what they are - grrrrr.
Food was very good and I think I was in and out for under £8 which is pretty good for central London.
B. F.
Stumbled on this gem. The Korean stews are really good and value for money, perfect on a cold day. Conveniently situated right next to Waterloo station. The staff were really helpful as well. Will be going back again!
M. M.
Good Korean food in the Waterloo area.
I've come here for lunch only and I dined in. They do a great lunch deal here with many dishes to choose from however you must pay cash only if you wish to take advantage of this deal.
The restaurant itself is rather small inside but cosy!
There is no wheelchair access to this restaurant.
Y. C.
I don't see the point of the long queues, food is ok.
S. P.
Excellent little restaurant, handily positioned within easy distance of Waterloo. Mains under £10, starters less worthwhile (a bit pricy for what you get(. Kim chi costs extra - that would never happen in Seoul!! Often there are queues into the street at busy times a day
M. 2.
This place is great. I have been a couple of times. Once on a Friday evening, fairly busy and once on a Sunday afternoon, which was not so busy. Both times I was made to feel welcome. The food was good. Quickly prepared and all at a reasonable price. He honest the food was delicious and the main courses are filling. I recommend you try it.
E. E.
Five stars! Really good authentic Korean food, reasonable priced and nice atmosphere in this tiny place around the corner from Waterloo station. Fully stocked on Korean beer and booze too.
M. S.
Lovely little Korean restaurant. Food is good and decent price, staff are lovely too. But be warned, it is a very small place and you will have to squeeze past people/chairs.
E. T.
Decent Korean place on Waterloo where I usually don't know where to go eat. Very fast too get food after order, food tastes good!
Place is quite small and cramped otherwise, and they only allowed us to pay via two cards per table.
C. M. Y.
i love this place a lot that it makes me emotional only thinking about it the food is just AMAAAAZING its so cheap compared to other Asian restaurants and it just has this vibe as if you’re dining in Seoul LOVE LOVE LOVE <3 (i go here literally every week and could go everyday)
M. N.
Food very nice - a good bowl of super spicy kimchi stew plus generous rice portion for £6. Beer a bit expensive. Friendly and quick service. Good atmosphere

Great korean food with quite a good price. My boyfriend's udon was amazing, but I ordered a pork belly bbq hot plate, it was good but it was quite dry compared to usual korean bbq hot plate, it was just the meat and chopped onion covered in goujhang paste. Good price tho so I can't complain. Will come back!

Amazing hidden gem! The dishes are mouth watering. We tried their sea food bibimbap, fired marinated beef, and fried kimchi and chicken, all very good, especially the beef dish. Great and fast services. Highly recommended.
M. J.
Great little place. Very authentic. Tasty food. Very reasonable prices. Would have loved a few more gluten free options though. Hopefully will be next time!
L. Y.
Very tasty food. However, I got a piece of plastic in my hot pot last time. The staff didn’t explain about the plastic, instead he just added some pieces of meat and vegetable to the pot and walked away. (I didn’t ask for and didn’t really need that. I’d rather to have a proper apology.)
Later on I found another tiny piece of plastic in the pot but not bother to tell them again as they won’t investigate.
It maybe just me being unlucky.
Y. L.
Very good Korea food, but rice could be better
T. K.
Having moved from Tottenham Court Road, it has taken them some time to find their feet and get their alcohol licence. Each time I visit though it improves slightly.
The food is decent and not too expensive. It doesn't have the same feel as the old establishment though.
P. B.
Too much kimchi ... Maybe I need to pick better.
J. G.
Probably the best Korean food I've had in London. Basic interior, but the staff are friendly. We tried some of the Korean classics (eg. Kimchee, bulgogi beef, BBQ pork) - all were really good.
S. P.
Been searching for a korean resto that's not overpriced in London & somewhere with korean street food other than bibimbap (which is still great). I'm SO happy to finally have found a korean restaurant with korean street food / finger food for soju nights. This will be my go-to korean place now.
H. O.
great menu and pricing
c. o.
A hidden gem on Lower Marsh - amazing food at a really reasonable price.
We had 2 starters (one of them was out of this world - the seafood Pancake) 2 mains and a beer for me: £30 on the nose.
Highly recommended
R. S.
Not a big place so seating is abit tight but the portions are great for the price; not too spicy and Flavours spot on. Would recommend Bulgogi, some rice and hey, I saw they have a lunch set for £5
L.
Such a cosy little korean restaurant, loved the autentic vibe! The food tasted great, especially the ddoekpokki, everyone should try it, such a rich sauce without being too spicy.
The only thing that threw my off was that they named a stir fry chicken dish to " fried chicken " , which I wasn't at all prepared to when it arrived and was a bit confused at the time. But it turned out to be delicious anyhow! Recommend to give it a try it you're near waterloo station :)
A. G.
Loved the food, definitely coming back again soon!
J. A. (. t. C.
Very solid food and friendly staff. The place is pretty small though so they have to pack people in and you may have to wait a bit outside for a table. But that’s kind of the fun of it!
O. B.
Excellent good quality food at an extremely decent price. Very popular with the locals. Can be busy at times so you may have a slight wait for a table.
D. W.
Wee place that serves amazing Korean food. The kimchi pancake being the highlight. Super fast (done in 45 mins) which is great for pre theatre at the Old Vic. Definitely will be coming back to try other dishes. Cash only and more tables in a second room at the back
Y. Y.
Each time I go to London by train from my place in Hampshire, I have lunch or dinner in this restaurant. The food is very tasty, authentic and of good price. Moreover, I like the simple and bold deco of this resturant as it really fits into the genuine concept of 'pocha'. A short form of 'pojang macha', it was originally canopied ('pojang') food carts ('macha') in the street, and then gradually changed into simple indoor bars with some side dishes.
Whenever I have a meal or a drink with some side dishes in this restaurant, I feel my yearning for good Korean food and nostalgia for the good olden days quenched to a great extent.
M. Z.
I've had bibimbap with beef, pork and one seems to be better. Kimchi and picked radish were great though, good place for a quick snack! I've had better Korean though, in other places around London.
F. B.
Nice and small. Really appreciate beca8se is not noisy. Food is great I had a pork liver soups and bibimbap seafood with plum wine. They taste amazing and prize was about 25pound.
S. S.
Charming little Korean restaurant where you can pop in for a brisk and tasty £5 lunch, very much in the street food vibe. I particularly recommend the bulgogi. A very welcome addition to the eclectic selection of independent businesses that make up Lower Marsh.
T. P.
Charged me 3.50 compulsory service charge and tbh they did nothing, nor were friendly and I had to repeat my order about 4 times. Other than that the food was nice but the kimchi had far too much garlic!
L. S.
I love GoGo Pocha- absolute hidden gem. The Kimchee fried rice with a fried egg is so delicious. rough around the edges with great atmosphere .. nothing pretentious- just great food.
N. R.
If you need to eat Korean food, that is delicious, hot, fresh and not over priced please come here. The place is not pretentious and knows how to deal with heavy demand of food and customers.
N. K.
Lovely small Korean restaurant with great food and fast & friendly service. Prepare to wait if you're coming during Friday evening hours because this place gets packed quickly!
g. g.
good food. friendly staff. reasonable prices! 😊
H. J.
Lovely authentic Korean food. Home style cooking in a cosy restaurant. All the staff were lovely and the food was great. I'll certainly be visiting again.
B. K.
Very decent and cozy restaurant that I would come back again. Amazing price of lunch for only £5. I would highly recommend bibimbam and if you want something bit hot, chicken with cheese.
R. T.
Nice food and atmosphere. Staff were super friendly, very nice to our 5-year old boy. Good prices. Very busy but drinks and food were served quickly. Try it!
L. D.
Very good foods and friendly staff
R. C.
Small, cozy place. Kind and fast waiters. They serve great food, it is frequented by Koreans. It is a must if you are around the area.
B. B.
Absolutely loved the food!
Place is packed and after having eaten here I know why. Will come here again and again.
Definitely worth a detour!
S. H.
Good atmosphere and nice staffs! Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy Korean foods and drinks! :) would love to come again!
s. p.
Good Korean food at good prices. Beer a little pricey but you have to make some money somehow.
Friendly stress-free staff. Nice experience
S. N.
Nailed it lads. Very yummy and reasonably priced. Friendly service. Thank you. But when will we, as a nation, stop pretending Hite is good beer because Its Authentic. Come on everyone.
R.
Amazing place, my favourite food here is probably the Bibimbap, it's a hot rock bowl with rice, served different meat toppings
E. L.
A hidden gem in Lower Marsh, this place is a must visit for delicious, authentic Korean cuisine. One of my favourite places to eat in London!
C. G. D.
GoGo is YumYum: Korean grub with welcoming vibe. Kind and welcoming staff turn weary locals, Korean nationals and tourists alike into smiling, well-fed customers. Good local Korean - if that's not an oxymoron. This is proper K. F. C.
P. G.
Really flip in decent! Reccomend!
N. H.
Fantastic little place that serves great food quickly in a no fuss manner. Licensed and has warm sake and cold beer. Good location close to Waterloo.
S. S.
Wanted to try this place based on the reviews, went for early weekend lunch, Bimbimbap was alright, but you can't really go wrong with that dish,
everything else was just so so and lukewarm.
N. A.
Always great service and food
P. K.
Great and friendly Korean place. They used the have the bigger portions, but the taste is still good!
R. T.
A simple place for a not-so-simple Korean fest! Food and sauces are very flavorful. Make sure you try the rice cakes.
T. X.
Very delicious food! I have go here many times!
Their beef pot is the best !!
r.
I like the super spicy ramen and gyoza and get the bibimbap on special occasions, seafood not great but overall good place to eat.
I live super close so go often.
E. H.
Very tasty authentic Korean food that is quick, reasonably priced. Excellent hot pot bibimbap.
O. E.
Great food. So good there are always other Koreans in there dining. Love their jokbal (pork trotters).
J. J.
The bibimbap is good. £6 lunch specials! This spot is cash only, so make sure you go to a cash point first!
E.
Amazing quality hotpot and fast service. Was however exceedingly busy so may be worth checking out their nearby sister restaurant which I am told is close nearby .
M. R.
Delicious everything
The people amazing
T. Z.
Very. Very. Very good. Just sayin'
I. M.
It was bland
Food was hot and presentation was a three
Portion size a four
Price was a five
Toilet was nasty and needs renewing
Service was good
Cash only
Good for students and low budget workers
But as a place that sells food it works
So yes i give this place a four
There is lots i can write
Quality 3
Quantity 4
Presentation 3
Service 5
Value for money 5
But you decide
A must go place
M. F.
Best Korean in Southwark Hands down . Their Chicken Dumplings and
Kimchi is amazing.
J. M.
Great Authentic food and fast service
L. G.
Hidden gem on Lower Marsh - really good, inexpensive Korean food. Surroundings are very basic but the food more than makes up for it.
K. E.
I went there for the superb £6 lunch menu. Yummy and authentic. Not a hard location to find. Nice staff and service
K. D.

I definitely need to go back and try some other dishes.
g.
really amazing food and super friendly staff. really nice interior design, super pretty and would definitely recommend and visit again. 감사합니다!!
P. W.
The food is OK, feels like it's made on the cheap which the prices only somewhat reflect. The staff is full of attitude and it isn't the attitude you want.
W. K.
Very small, but very tasty and cheap for the area. Most mains were £8 or under. Service was a bit chaotic but nothing outrageous.
a. b.
A bit of a wait for 5 people but it was all worth it - Bibimbap, kimchi pancake, dumplings were delish - service is fast and staff very polite!
B. A. O.
Had three very tasty well served dinners! I like the confused hut like feel too. Good price.
E. N.
Great food - the dish with bulgogi + squid is mind-blowing! and don't forget to ask for kimchi with cucumber! It's on the starter menu 👍🏽

It was OK until they needed our table and quickly asked us if we had finished and placed the bill on the table, quite rude
