J.Warm and attentive service, excellent recommendation of wine. One of the staff seem unwell (coughing) and would have appreciated if he was wearing a mask.
j. a.Delicious tasting authentic Italian food with great service. Really enjoyed a meal here and the menu is superb. Great choice with lots of variety with info showing where the food is sourced. The specials are great the location with outside gazebos really is a nice touch. Would recommend
M.The red wine exclusive to Il Portico - expensive but you HAVE to try it. I’ve never had a better red wine in my life.
Rack of lamb with polenta cakes. Polenta cakes could do with a touch of salt but absolutely lovely all round.

L. V.Good Italian restaurant with the look and feel of your local family friendly Italian. The service is really good and the food is also good. The wine selection is what you expect from a completely authentic Italian and the menu has got all the classics. I'm not giving a 5 stars to Il Portico because the pork ragu lacks the amazing flavour I was expecting, but it a place worth paying a visit.
