We ordered a large takeaway on Christmas eve, which was delivered by 2 deliveroo riders. Unfortunately we were missing 3 meals. So I contacted La Bella Vita directly and they delivered the items themselves within 30 minutes. We use the restaurant frequently and the food is always delicious.

Every Italian restaurant I visit I compare to La Bella Vita - their pomodoro sauce is SO good. I think the trick is that they use a lot of fresh ingredients: the orange juice is freshly squeezed and the pomodoro sauce tastes like it’s made from freshly puréed tomatoes. The pasta that they use also retains the flavour of the sauce really well. I do wish that there were more vegan options however.

A truely excellent local restaurant. Lots of good choice on the menu without it being too vast. Have tried lots of different meals here from steak to pizza and they are all really really good. It's good value for money and has some nice veggie options. Well worth a visit.

Can thoroughly recommend La Bella Vita. The best truffle vegetarian burger, l have tasted. I have been to the restaurant several times, and the service has always been of a consistently high standard. The staff are hard working, friendly, polite, ensure that your order is exactly right. I had my birthday party at La Bella Vita, one of my friends, who was at my party enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant so much that he had his birthday celebration there several months later. Try La Bella Vita, and l am sure you will agree with my review.

What a wonderful experience we had at la Bella vita! Our waitress was fabulous! So wonderful with my little girl! For a group of 6 people including two children, it came to less than £60 a head, with drinks! We were pleasantly surprised at the top quality food. Personally I had the lamb shank and it was beautiful, the mashed potatoes was thick and creamy, and the portion sizes were spectacular! Thank you for having us! Will be returning soon!

Would give another half star if I could. Delicious, well presented food, the steak particularly is amazingly well cooked, as is the octopus. One of my fellow diners commented that his seafood linguine was better than his favourite uptown Italian! Deserts are beautiful and well made. Interesting selection of starters - the ones we chose were all yummy - and drinks (non alcoholic are particularly imaginative). Service was exceptional; attentive, fast and with a smile. Great evening deal where ordering 2x 3 course meals means a free bottle of wine or cocktail each. I suppose the ambiance could be better, a bit bright and music is euro-pop-y, but I'm being very picky (in that we were out for a family evening meal and there didn't seem to be any romantic couples, so it wasn't really an issue) so I won't let it affect my score. Will happily go back.

The food we ordered was nice, despite the restaurant is definitely not Italian. The waiter was nice, however when a big group of customers arrived, he lost track of our orders: he brought coffee and I had to wait 15 minutes to get sugar. At that point coffee was cold, but despite this we had to pay for it. Overall we had nice food, but the service should improve.

Food is standard, and the ambiance is nice. Nothing really amazing here, but definitely come for some tasty, homely Italian food. Staff are very kind and the atmosphere at dinner time makes for a very intimate meal.

La Bella Vita is a cracking little restaurant. It is very relaxing and the food is generally good. I go in at lunchtime mostly as Mon to Thurs you can get a very decent 2/3 course lunch for £9/11 excluding drinks, between 12 & 4pm, which I think is a bargain. I think their pasta dishes are the most tasty, good rich sauces with al dente pasta. They do a good halloumi salad and the calamari, hummus or spanokopita make decent starters. Though I wasn't keen on the burger and I think they put too much cheese on their pizza, just personal taste. The menu is extensive so there is something for everyone. The staff are very pleasant and leave you to enjoy your meal. For me this is the best place in the high street.

Lunch all freshly prepared dishes.. i had a lovely prawn linguine We were asking ourselves why would you ever eat in the local pubs when u can get this fresh home made cheaper tastier grub..and the staff who served us on both occasions were super nice..! Thoroughly recommend. This is my local cafe, and I've had many breakfasts, lunches, dinners and drinks here. Winning menu item is the mediterranean breakfast or the halloumi and hummus olive focaccia. It's a nice atmosphere - very cosy - and the lady who serves quite often in there is very sweet. Very happy to have this as my local and i'll be back as soon as lock down is over. Much love.

They used to be lovely; very tasty baked pastas, vegetarian. We ordered from them often. They then sort of took a turn, we could no longer get the tortelloni or cannelloni (lasagne may still be on the menu; don't like bechamel, though, so no joy there). So I tried the mushroom risotto. It was hard, undercooked, not very creamy. Disappointing. Their website now reads "new management", perhaps this is what's happened -- they appear to be serving different dishes from all around the Mediterranean. Like Greece and Turkey. They're still ok, just were so much better last year; a favourite takeaway. We occasionally order when we want something fast and inexpensive, but it's a struggle for me, as there isn't much on the menu that appeals to me. My BF will eat anything vegetarian, so he's fine. The baked pastas on the menu again would be a step in the right direction. I give three stars, because they used to be four to five star. I'd honestly give two if I'd just started eating there recently. Out of respect for the yummy food they used to send us, with their lovely delivery man. I'm giving them one last chance tonight. No more spending money there, if their house special pasta isn't on par. Shame; I'd much rather spend money locally, than order from Stratford and beyond.
