Enjoyed a really nice pasta meal here, was a lunch time deal too so really good value. Only reason I've not 5* it is because we only had the 2 dishes off the menu on our first ever visit. If I go again and it's the same would 5* it. Lovely,, thank you!!

Can’t go wrong with the pizza calzone. Drinks were a bit expensive but can’t complain as it is London and not my local.

Went here for the cheap takeaway pizza for £5 (assuming this is temporary). Good basic pizza. Would have benefitted from more toppings. Note to management - I will definitely order again if you add a few more toppings as the pizza was a bit sparse!

You do get quite big portions, of the cheaper elements of the meal (pasta, potatoes and veg). The more excitement parts (cheese, meat) were not only much smaller portions than we expected (the meatballs was one big, tough meatball cut in half) but also not very good quality. We both enjoyed our pasta dishes. It's OK for somewhere to fill you up, but it's not that cheap.

Always friendly with good very reasonably priced food. The £5.80 lunch offer is good - you can get pizza or pasta dishes from a broad range. Portions generous. I'll miss coming here when I change jobs!

Nice place! I think they just refurbished it, it looks like it , friendly staff, good food, good prices, and it's just outside the station, so it's the best option when you are standing outside the station waiting for a friend with no plans of where to go and eat, it didnt disappoint :)

Nice Italian to grab a bite to eat. Right by Highbury & Islington station, on the door step. Good friendly service and classis Italian food. Pizzas big and tasty, seafood spaghetti was nice. Garlic bread good, calamari a little tough but ok. Good mixed salad. Reasonably priced with offers available. House wine very drinkable.

This is a very nice place for lunch. Excellent service from very polite staff. The food is homemade and extraordinarily cheap for the quality and size of portion. Really superb.

Hit and miss. Good service, but the quality of food seems to depend on the day you visit. We visited on a non-match day and had great food, but recently went back following an Arsenal match and the food was pretty bad. The restaurant has recently been renovated - may still be worth a visit.

A lovely restaurant that makes you feel you are somewhere other than Highbury Corner! We popped in for drinks but the pizza smells delish so will be back. The wine, service and atmosphere were top notch so happy to reccomend. Located at the end of Holloway Road right by Highbury & Islington tube and overground station.

Ideal for a quick bite! The decor in here is almost like a burger bar with fixed booths which makes it a little impersonal. The menu was pretty extensive with plenty of choice. The service was efficient and speedy which was great as we were going to a gig over the road. All the food was delicious. The study drinks came out tepid and I think they should at least offer ice and a slice Would definitely recommend it for an easy meal, but don't expect an attention to detail

Have popped in here a few times now and quality is very reliable. The restaurant is right next to Highbury and Islington station and close to Highbury Fields park, so very convenient. It has the feel of a real Italian family restaurant with authentic dishes. Very familiar friendly as well! The pizza base is a little bit bland, very crispy and fluffy with delicious toppings, trypical Italian style pizza! The pasta dishes I've tried were all fantastic. Prices are very good, especially for the area. Service has always been friendly, but a little slow and not very attentive. Great little restaurant in a convenient location!

My second visit to La Pasta, the first being several years ago. Very friendly owner, makes you feel welcome. Had the Penne vegetable on the lunchtime menu. Food is very good and very reasonably priced. Mainly a pizza pasta restaurant but they have specials like fish and lamb also. Recommended. La pasta was full tonight due to Arsenal playing at the Emirates. Food always very good here, a favourite of mine.

This place is the bees knees for food, I come here every time I’m in the area. Pizza, pasta it’s all amazing and you can tell it’s freshly made. Staff are nice and friendly. And cheap as chips! What more do you want?!

I was really baffled when I read some of the reviews people have left in the past, but I can hand on heart say this place is a little gem to have come across. The staff are friendly, both with customers and with each other, and the food was beautiful. Brilliant prices and great portions! I ordered the penne arrabiata, the mix veg on the side, and my partner ordered the la reine pizza. Everything was packed with flavour! We will definitely be back ☺️
