I went here for an early evening meal. Only one waiter, but the place was not quite half full so service was quick, and food a wine were good value.

A lovely place to bring family and friends. Very spacious with three levels. Ground floor, step up to a first floor and a basement for much larger groups. Nice setting and ambiance. Nicely finished washrooms. The food has been bringing me back here for years. I have been the witness to a couple of first dates when dining alone, trying to block my ears to the "small talk" lol. Friendly and welcoming staff. More recently Adina has been looking after me on every visit always placing my order for "the usual". Best seafood risotto in town, cooked to perfection with no rich overpowering tomato fishy taste. Always the offer of parmesan cheese (surprisingly I am not offered this at other restaurants and not even given a bowl for the seashells). Attention to detail, plates are taken away promptly, and staff do not have to be prompted for the offer for tea/coffee drinks deserts etc. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Quaint little place huddled in a busy street nice Italian food and even nicer managers.....I couldn't finish my dinner and the lady in house got worried about the food quality....was so embarrassed...but it felt good to know that she cared about the food..and my taste.....the reason I visited again very next day for breakfast...and I wasn't disappointed at all.....

We came away from this restaurant happy. This was the first day they had opened after the Covid-19 pandemic. There was plenty of choice and the chef did a great job. I chose the steak and my wife had chicken with aubergine. I wished I had not given away half my steak to her! The house wine was amazing, and a good temperature.

Food is delicious, prices are really good comparing to other restaurants in London, and staff is quite friendly. Pasta with chicken and mushrooms is around £10, I ordered a great risotto for £12. Would definitely come back again.

Great food in a modest but vibrant restaurant directly across the road from Kings Cross station. I've been here before and the food is always good, lots of it too. If you get there before 16:30 you can catch the lunchtime special menu ! Quite possibly the best coffee in London ?

Visiting for an early evening meal on a Thursday evening, the restaurant was busy but not full. Staff attended to my requests quickly, but did not feel rushed. Food served was a good standard and priced as expected for this type of establishment. Despite being next to the main road it was quiet inside. The large glass windows give a good view of the surroundings if you are seated towards the front. Overall I would recommend this as a good experience.

Very reasonably priced. They have a lunchtime menue £14.95 for 2 courses with wine or beer. A bit less if you have a soft drink. Nice food and the waiter, who was on his own, handled a very disturbed gentlemen who kept coming in and appeared to be both drinking and possibly stoned. He handled it very well and we felt safe.

This restaurant is a nice place and the food is really good, especially the risotto. The restaurant is conveniently located near the underground station and Pullman Hotel. The only negative point is that Coca-Cola bottles were too small, but we had a great time here. Thank you !

We’ve been going there for almost 5 years. the dishes are very good, especially the lasagna and the tiramisu. The staff is great 👍🏻

Wide range of food on the menu. Attentive service and bright ambience. Was seated at the bar while table was prepared. Made very welcome and comfortable the whole time. Ordered salad nicoise with salmon. It was delicious. Other orders around me looked equally fantastic.

Not very good but not bad either. Simple straightforward Italian restaurant but do not expect anything that the pictures suggest. The presentation of the food is simple. I had a salad with Mozzarella and tomato. Got 4 slices of mozzarella, next to that 4 slices of tomota and a bit of salad. No dressing, no spices and no attention paid to the presentation. Not a major problem but the images at the site suggest otherwise. My mushroom side dish were from a tin and the chicken in the mains was not tender at all. Overall, like I said, not good but not bad either.

Not sure of this place. First time here I had a nice lunch. However, the second time was not so good. Lunch deal (starter, main course and soft drink for 12,95) is affordable, which is nice. Unfortunately, there was not much taste to it. It was not bad, but not good either. So on average I would give it 3 stars. Visit this place for an affordable lunch, but do not expect it to taste great. It is ok at most. The staff was good though!

Amazing location, an unusually good personal service for a restaurant in such a location. Generous portions, clean and well kept. Busy but not too busy. We've returned here to meet elderly relatives/ family travelling from afar who can converge at Kings Cross about 5 times and never been disappointed. This was a little gem we found by accident. The first floor is the pub area with a few tables. The dining area expands to the basement when dinner starts. The atmosphere is subtle and clean. The dining area is spacious and doesn't feel so closed in as other restaurants. Almost gave it 4 stars because we arrive just as the basement expanded and the sever wasn't quite ready. But the food made up for it. The food had great subtle flavors and didn't disappoint.

Family of 6, we reserved through the website and were seated immediately. Was a convenient walk from the St Pancras Hotel and the food was as found in your Pizzeria/Restaurant so there are many items to choose from. The staff is friendly and will pitch in to help. After a day of sight seeing this was an easy choice.

When i read the reviews i was motivated to visit this place, the prices are good and the menu seem to have a good variety and well who doesn't love good hearty italian food? My expectations were high and they were certainly met, the starters were delicious and the portions were adequate and filling, we ordered the bruschetta and the calamari, it was absolutely delicious. the calamari comes with a tangy and tasty sauce that goes perfectly well with the dish. The main was nice we ordered the prawn spaghetti in tomato sauce and chilly and the meatball spaghetti, the portions are generous and certainly value for money. the ambiance was a 5 out of 5, the staff was very attentive and helpful and the food came out within minutes of ordering. all in all i think this place is def worth the try and i certainly think they cheers our evening. would i recommend? yes i certainly would.

The food was delicious and came out quickly. More importantly, the manager (Adina) was cheery, helpful and went out of her way to make sure every customer felt welcomed and comfortable, always ready with a smile or extra napkins. A gem of a restaurant!

(Translated) We were there for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is absolutely unbeatable in terms of price. Also in the evening it was very tasty. The service is attentive. Somehow I had read in another review that there was no toilet - there is one! Just go down the stairs. (Original) Wir waren dort Frühstücken und auch Abendessen. Das Frühstück ist Preis leistungsmäßig absolut nicht zu schlagen.. auch abends war es sehr lecker. Der Service ist aufmerksam. Irgendwie hatte ich in einer anderen Bewertung gelesen es gäbe keine Toilette - es gibt eine ! Einfach die Treppe runter gehen.
