We arrived at the Murcure London Bridge Hotel middayish and within five minutes were met by a greeter from Marco's. She welcomed us and assured us of our reservation for the evening. At 7.15 we presented ourselves at the restaurant with the Buyagift voucher to be welcomed again and given an explanation of the menu. When our choices arrived they were very well presented and tasted delicious. The service was excellent and the whole evening could not have been better.

Had a wonderful time here, the staff were incredible and the food was sublime! We used a red letter day voucher for a 3 course meal and glass of prosecco for 2 and it was the best meal either of us have ever had! I had the bruschetta to start, which was gorgeous, and the spaghetti Al Pesto genovese for main which was probably the best pasta dish I've ever had. My partner had the ribs to start and burger for main which he said was incredible. He even said the ribs were by far the best he has had and they just fell off the bone. The good came in great time and the service was incredible! Ali was our server for the night and he was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening - we will definitely be back!

The service is a little slow for my liking for example we had to wait a little too long between the courses. We finished with the starter and it took long before the main and the same thing with the dessert. In fact, we had to call them to order the dessert as we had been waiting and no one in sight or attending to us. The starter- American Nachos were really nice, I had roast chicken with mac and cheese and mushrooms. Now the chicken was bland, not much flavour, the mac and cheese was literally water in macaroni, I couldn't taste the sauce or any other flavour expected of mac and cheese. I liked the mushrooms and they tasted the best. The person I was with had a sirloin steak- they had asked for it to be well done. First attempt was not well done but they took it back and on returning it, it had been prepared to that person's request. The review from the steak is that after it had been done well, it was good and was greatly complimented by the rocket salad that comes with it. The chips were also nice and it was nice that when they returned the steak, they had given fresh chips. This meal was enjoyed with a zinfandel Rosè wine which for us was really nice and better than their house Rosè which we had been offered initially. We had some prosecco which was also really nice. Overall, the place was quiet and setting generally ok and clean. It was a little disappointing that were still eating and they were clearing and rearranging the restaurant in our presence. Then someone was being trained a few feet from our table and being taught how to use the tills etc. It felt as though they needed us to be quick with theb meal as they were closing but once they finished cleaning, no one was in sight again and we couldn't order dessert or pay for ages.

Overall an underwhelming experience. We had a voucher for 3 course meal with bubbly. The starters were good, but the burger for main was not at all juicy, and the brownie for dessert tasted nice, but was dry. They also weren't particularly accomodating - we didn't want to drink alcohol, but were not allowed some of the soft drinks, even though they were cheaper than prosecco; not terrible, but wasn't a very good vibe.

Staff really friendly, food lovely and as we mentioned it was out anniversary and my husbands birthday and they brought out our puds with birthday and anniversary message on both. I would definately recommend. We went in buyagift voucher and we we had a set menu of starters, mains and puds . New York cheesecake is a must

Had a lovely time at an afternoon tea at Marco's New York Italian. The area seemed to be reserved just for Buyagift afternoon tea sessions but that was fine by us. Service was good and staff were always glancing over to make sure we were okay. The downside would be that there wasn't much choice for tea. Consequently the idea of an afternoon tea becomes quite a bit more restrictive when you only have either a English breakfast tea, or alternatives like green tea, rooibos etc. And no other black teas. All in all though, we did enjoy ourselves and did walk away feeling like we had a nice time.

Very nice restaurant, clean toilets, but very slow service. It could also do with back ground music as it's very quiet in the area where we had (afternoon Tea). The sandwiches were very nice and so we're the cakes,( tasted fresh). My two negatives are it would of been nice to have the option of coffee/late, cappuccino or hot chocolate and for the heater to be turned on as today was extremely cold.

Honestly, this was a little disappointing. We were given vouchers as part of a gift for our wedding. We'd done the shard experience earlier in the day. This was supposed to be a lovely end to the evening and, for the most part, it was. First impressions were not good as the street address takes you in the back way which run-down and looks bleak. Then, once inside, it was not clear where we were supposed to go in order to be seated. So we were sort of stood there, with staff walking past us for some time. Once seated, we were handed a dirty printed paper menu. We were not given an option to upgrade or anything, even though we would have happily spent more money to do so. The food we ordered was really lovely, although not amazing and not exactly what I would expect with Marco's name attached. Service was patchy throughout. Servers were erratic and disorganised. They brought our mains out without the salads, but servers were polite and pleasant and actually quite funny. Overall, an underwhelming if comedic experience. It was nice enough, but I wouldn't go back. Try the chocolate porter if you do go. My husband loved it

We loved this place. We went there because we bought a voucher for £30 and it included 3 courses and 2 glasses of champagne. The startes were quite big and delicious (we order nachos and wings), the main course was really good too (pasta and burguer), very good quality and for the desert I asked the waitress if the had a candle as it was my boyfriend birthday and they brought the plate like in the picture, such a nice gesture. Everything it would have cost us more than £30 so we believed it was a such a great deal. We will definitely come back. The stuff was really respectuful and the place has such a great atmosphere.

Had this place booked with a trip to the Shard after a 10 minute walk we entered and was shown to our table, the waitress was friendly and efficient, The fizz appeared and orders taken we had 3 courses and to be fair I have to say we enjoyed all. I had chicken wings which were spicy with a blue cheese dip, I went for the burger which was lovely then the brownie. It was not over crowded we could hear ourselves talk. it was early 18:00,

We bought a buy a gift voucher for an Afternoon tea here and had a great time. We asked to be seated in the lounge and it was a really nice area and had lovely decor. Roberto the manager and the Filipina lady were very attentive and provide superb service. I saw on the advert outside that they normally charge £22.50 per person for afternoon tea and with the voucher we paid less than half that and still got good service.

I personally found the menu very basic and quite restrictive, I can't comment on what the normal menu is like as we didn't have it. Food was OK, I would say passable. It isn't somewhere I would recommend or come to again.

The staff however, were very disorganised and despite ringing numerous times to confirm our booking, they had the incorrect afternoon tea prepared for us so had to make the italian one fresh for us. they were very apologetic but the staff need to improve.

Unpleasant welcome at the reception desk with an attitude that is as if blaming us for buying a package offer by the restaurant. We came here as we received a buyagift voucher for a 3 course meal and a bottle of bubbly. As previous reviews have stated, the restaurant is no where near London Bridge and is closer to Southwark station. From the outside the restaurant looks really unappealing - the outside definitely needs modernizing and a lick of paint. The inside of the restaurant is modern and well maintained and there is a nice little seating area. Just to mention before I forget - this restaurant is part of a hotel so you can have hotel guests wandering in for their dinner in their scruffy pyjamas - a little disappointing as we had gotten dressed up for the occasion. I noticed a lack a music playing the main restaurant which killed the ambience completely, and with the tables parked so closely to one another - we found it difficult to concentrate on our own conversation. As with most chain hotel restaurants the food was very basic and "run-the-mill" - there was nothing that left me amazed - it was all rather boring and predictable. However, the service received by the staff was friendly and welcoming. I don't think we'll be coming back again simply because there are far better and interesting restaurants in London which aren't so far off of the beaten track.

Excellent atmosphere on Christmas Day. The restaurant's location is not completely ideal as parking is not easily available but the ambience easily makes up for it. The restaurant is split into two: casual drinking and formal dining. The casual drinking area, located further in the restaurant, is quite separated and has some very comfortable seating. Both areas can be quite loud on such occasions and the staff can sometimes be a little impatient, however, overall, the food and atmosphere were great. Both, vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available.

The quality of steak is not premium if you go for the lunch menu where you can enjoy a 3 course meal for 12.99 which includes some good main course options one of which is the 6oz steak which is my favourite. However the steak from the a la carte menu is simply juicy and delicious. Yes it's an Italian outlet but I like Marcos for their steak and lunch menu options.

The restaurant is divided in 4 parts the lobby where you can have quiet discussilns, the bar to enjoy drinks and laughs, the restaurant rooms, one on ground floor accessible to anyone and one upstairs, with a cocoon atmosphere . Menus are mainly based on Italian and French specialities but you can also order some good burgers if you prefer ...

Located on the ground floor of the Mercure Hotel London Bridge this is a small restaurant with 30 covers. The menu is uninspiring and expensive, but it is London. However, the food is tasty and fresh, the wines are interesting (if you call Barbera adventurous) and the service attentive and efficient. The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that I had to ask for Parmesan to accompany penne pomodoro in somewhere that claims to be an Italian American restaurant.
