Reviews of Mele e Pere
D. D.
Incredible Italian food. Booked a table between a theatre show, was able to bring the booking forward as we arrived early.
Reasonably priced, 3 starters and 2 mains with 2 soft drinks for £60.
Food was very well presented and very tasty as well as great portion sizes for the prices.
Would go again if in the area.
K. S.
A nice place if you crave Italian food. Truffle pasta was very creamy and aromatic - definitely recommend trying. Pizza and dessert were okay but nothing too special. Staff was nice however the service was very slow despite a quieter time.
M. M.
Great little place to eat thats well positioned for anyone craving good quality Italian food around Leicester Sq / Shaftesbury Ave area. Arrived early and they were happy to move our booking. Friendly staff and the food was really flavoursome. Freshly made pasta and you could tell!! And... well priced. Definitely coming again.

This was my first time visiting Mele e Pere. The food and atmosphere was great, perfect for dinner. The drinks were lovely too, and staff were really welcoming and friendly. They've got a great range of gluten free options and are very attentive. Would recommend, and would definitely return!
S. K.
Food was good. Apparently they make all pastas in the store which was impressive. Staffs are not too bad. Oh the manager was amazing. However, I couldn't find any unique reasons why I should be there again rather than other countless Italian restaurants in London.
J. N.
Amazing! A hidden gem in London. Would eat here again in a heartbeat. Contender for best tiramisu in London.
Got the set menu (at time of review: £25 for a starter, main and dessert + a glass of Prosecco) to get a broad taste of everything.
Ambience is chill, and the staff are unbelievably friendly.
J. K.
Not attractive from the street but head inside and down the stairs and it opens into a beautiful romantically lit restaurant. The food was delicious simple italian and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. It's location makes it ideal for the theatres

What a gem this place is!
Situated in the vibrant streets of Soho, it's one of our favourite chilled-out watering holes.
Grab yourself a window seat to watch the world go by as you sip on some top quality wine or a grown-up cocktail.
The staff are very friendly and provide exemplary service.
The food is first class. You'll be hard pushed to find a better place to while away the time in central London.
We can't rate it highly enough.

This restaurant looks pretty modest from the outside, but the food quality was fine dining. Very tasty, well presented dishes. Will be coming back.
K. R.
A recommendation from a friend that delivered on all aspects: food, hospitality and design is always a win.
The pressure was on in choosing a restaurant fit for a friend that I had not seen in three years but by a mile we were impressed. We ordered Heritage Beetroot and Burrata Pugliese to start which perfectly matched the ray of sunshine with fresh, vibrant flavours. For mains, my friend ordered the hearty Beef Ragu, and I ordered the Ravioli alla Carbonara. My dish offered a blend of creaminess and tanginess so much so that I bought a pasta machine the same night and have tried to emulate the meal in my own home!
This restaurant came as a recommendation and I would also recommend it to anyone looking for Italian food but elevated.
M.
Very tasty italian food in Soho. Good service, however slightly too expensive even considered the location.
E. W.
Went here yesterday, the food was great but the standout of the experience was our waiter. He was so warm, friendly attentive and accommodating! We were so shocked to find out it was only his second day! Highly recommend especially if you have the same waiter we did.
A. P.
Came here because another place was fully booked, but was not disappointed! Everything we tried was delicious, and despite the restaurant being packed the service was attentive.
W. W.
Nice venue and excellent quality of food. I came for some drinks and nibbles and would happily return to work my way down the menu. Service-wise the staffs weren’t familiar with what’s on offer and the service was a bit hit and miss, but that’s understandable seeing everyone is getting back on their feet.
A. B.
Incredible food experience, the food was so clearly authentic and freshly prepared, and we had some of the best martinis we’ve had in London. The service was also impeccable and the staff were so friendly and accommodating to our requests. Will definitely be coming back when the indoor dining reopens!
S. H.
High quality, very good food and service. Basement area has a good atmosphere. Very good value. We were in need of a pre-theatre meal and time was fairly tight but that was no problem. Always good to find somewhere not part of a massive chain.
H. S.
Stopped for a quick bite and a drink on the basis of this being the "largest selection of vermouths in London." The octopus salad was so-so and a little bland (we didn't stop for dinner) but the vermouth list is as advertised. Our favorite was the Londinio (made in Fulham) but the house spritz (made with the restaurant's own vermouth) was a close second.

We had dinner with friends at Mele e Pere and the impressions from all ofcus were more than positive. Service was excellent and food was well presented and tasty. Deserts were also very nice and of good size. Overall we were all happy and we agreed that we can recommend it and definitely we are coming back soon.
V. P.
Here are the most authentic pasta🔥great value and vibe🥰 beyond my imagination!❤️🔥👍🏻👍🏻
L. P.
Had the carbonara and tiramisu. Would go for them both again, especially the tiramisu!
a.
Fantastic pasta, beautiful flavours and ingredients. Great starters too. The service was excellent, wouldn't hesitate to return!
P. P. O.
Visited this restaurant with a group for lunch. First off, it's a really nice spacious restaurant. Don't be deceived by the look. All the seating is downstairs. The pork balls were great. We had the tagliatelle beef Ragu and tiramisu for dessert which were both nice. The food was ok - not overwhelmingly good or bad. I've had tastier Italian meals. I still give them a 4 star because they got an order wrong and didn't bill us for it and it was a nice venue to chat and eat due to all the space we had. For an intimate lunch/dinner will go elsewhere but for large groups I'll recommend!
K. H.
Service was non existent. Menu includes ham as vegan. tiramisu was great. Venue looks nice. But generally a disappointment given the Michelin star.
M. A.
Challenging. Very short staffed and we were told that a staff member had walked out, earlier in the evening, leaving the few others under more pressure. Food was good but a little pricey. Staff were excellent under what seemed trying circumstances.
Z. A.
We went here for team dinner at work. They did not have the chicken meal I wanted and called earlier in the day to confirm they had chicken dishes. Some of the deserts we wanted were also not available on this particular day. We came around 7:30pm on 05/05/2022.
S. R.
Cozy and friendly venue, highly recommend for family and friends meetings. Good quality of food, nice Italian vibe! I grabbed set menu in price of £20 with 3 courses and a glass of Prosecco, great find!
Z. Q.
Really good restaurant, friendly staff and great food
D. A.
What can I say, it’s my favourite Italian restaurant in London!
I’ve been here a lot for the past few years and always had a good time.
Delicious burrata, beef ragu pasta, tiramisu. The OpenTable £20 set menu is great value for money!
The service is on the slow side, but you should expect this from an Italian place.
Totally worth a visit and not only once!
L. D.
A nice slow late lunch. I sadly came for gnocchi which isn’t on the lunch menu (I guess I’ll just have to come back), but a tasty starter and a homemade pasta for under £20 was still a steal for the city. I appreciated the languid pace, though it might not make sense for a working lunch. Will definitely come again to try out what else the menu has to offer!
R. J.
We loved our cocktails! Great Espresso Martini's & Hugo Sprits. Polite & attentive staff.
R. K.
We were really well looked after here. We had a set menu and all of the items were delicious. My partner wasn't feeling well and could only eat his entrée. The staff very happily packaged up his mains and dessert for takeaway no trouble and asked if there was anything they could do to help. Beautiful decor and great music too. Thanks so much to the team. Hopefully we can come back soon and enjoy the full experience.
A. M.
Over all a disappointing first visit to this restaurant on a Friday night.
Food was good and our server was friendly and helpful.
However, our group of 4 were drinking red wine. When we arrived we were told, as we went to order wine. The lowest priced wine they had run out of (£25 a bottle from memory). So we had to go for the next one up at £35. Once we had finished this bottle between the 4 of us, we went to order another only to be told that they had run out of this one too. So the only one the had was £45 a bottle.
They wouldn’t honour a lower price, which for a middle range restaurant, if you wanted to drink red wine which I’d say is fairly typical with an Italian meal it was £45 a bottle!
Poor customer care or ability to make any compromise.
S. O.
As someone who is a picky eater, even I was able to find an amazing dish. The food was lovely, the drinks were good, and the atmosphere was so enjoyable! We left very satisfied.
A. W.
Delicious food; friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable staff; good beer; tasteful and engaging decor; reasonable prices. The food and drinks menus part from the usual Italian fare into more exciting realms. My new favourite Italian
T. H.
The ambiance at Mele e Pere on the Saturday evening when I went was great - Iive musicians playing, a real buzz and a very cool basement space. The food was fine but certainly not memorable - I had some nice enough foccacia and the pasta. Both were a little light on flavour. My friend was unimpressed with the pizza which he felt was sloppy in top! Service was competent if lacking a little warmth. So it's the atmosphere and the setting rather than the food or service that would tempt me back.
R. H.
Probably one the best pizzas I've had outside of Italy!! Great food, great wine, excellent service. Will definitely be visiting again
V. R.
Delicious food. The burrata with purple sprouting broccoli was so good. Highly recommended the three course set lunch with a glass of fizz for £20 - amazing value.
L. H.
Friendly greeting on entry. Quick efficient service. All staff polite and smiley. Food was AMAZING couldn't move as we were so full. We'll be back
A. M.
We were celebrating a 40th birthday on a Saturday night. We had a table of 12. Food was good, service could have been more attentive. Drinks were slow to come out from the bar. I didn't love the pizza I ordered. Would return though.
J. H.
Great location and super friendly staff. However a main of ravioli turned out to be 5 pieces in a bowl! We were all hungry an hour later. Please increase the portion sizes.#billwasn'tcheap
S. M.
Just had a couple cocktails upstairs. Aperitivo only menu, and basically vermouth drinks. Very good though.
Downstairs has a restaurant that looks cool when you're walking to the toilet
D. B.
I love this place, with its unconventional offering of vermouths, the large, dimly lit room downstairs, the huge portions and the great quality of the food, the kind and caring staff.
l.
Great interior, very vibe-y, interesting cocktails; the food is decent but it's quite price-y for that it is (perhaps the location) the service was good
R. R.
Ordered off the set three course menu. The starters were very good, particularly the beetroot salad, but the mains didn't particularly impress. The pesto pasta was quite stodgy and slightly felt like something that could be made better at home quite easily and inexpensively. Good for a quick lunch perhaps.
p. s.
Didn’t book on a busy Friday and was treated wonderfully, from being seated to service, all the staff where professional and friendly, food was a pleasure, look forward to returning, thank you.
A. G.
Overall the food was excellent and only let down by a poor Beef Ragout which appeared to be made out of mince rather than steak. Great range of starters. Nice environment but possibly not enough staff as we were left waiting for service a few times - those that there were lovely. Oh and get some grappa glasses rather than serve in a champagne flute!
J. T. M.
Great food, lovely atmosphere and staff. Hidden gem.
A. M.
Cute little restaurant! I liked the summertime menu and had bruschetta with goat cheese and sweet peppers, and roast lamb rump. The lamb was really delicious and juicy. Portions were decent, and the wine we had was delicious too (can't remember the name). Can recommend!
E. V. S.
Amazing Italian restaurant. Very good quality and the staff are very friendly. Also absolutely loved the Vermont made by Lucio! Delicious! Definitely recommend
F. L.
Delicious food! Would highly recommend the gnocchi fritti and any main dish. The pasta is fresh and as soft as silk. Nice setting too, with well spaced tables, chilled vibe and friendly staff.
F. H.
Another fabulous meal. Whats great about Mele & Pere is you are assured of delicious, real food. I haven's visited for 5 - 6 years and was not disappointed.
3 starters, 2 pasta main courses drinks and coffee for lunch at a very reasonable price.
The courgette fritti were so fresh, burrata with tomatoes was creamy and rich , calamari - delicious & the pasta was clearly rolled out and made to order with fabulous carbonara sauce.
If you are in the area make sure you book and enjoy a similar experience. We went at lunchtime.
V.
Attended on a Friday night with my partner to celebrate our anniversary, using a virgin experience voucher for a 3 course meal with prosecco (£90 booked precovid) . Staff were attentive and the environment quiet and private. However we were disappointed by our restricted choices on the menu of only 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts (tiramasu, expresso ice cream or cheese). My partner had calamari starter which was well cooked and a good portion. I had gnocchi which was fine. We both had a beef ragu tagliatelle and then we asked for different ice cream which they kindly provided as neither of us like coffee. A glass of prosecco was included in the voucher. The reason why I wouldn't rate it higher is it was nothing special. We also ordered drinks which never arrived and an additional side that also did not arrive. We had to share a napkin as my partners wasn't replaced. For a bottle of still water it was £3.50 and a glass of coke was £3.
A. Q.
Food very good. Service was a bit slow as it was very busy. Extremely warm in there so don't go wearing thick jumpers!
S. D.
Wow! Amazing salad and HUGE sandwiches. Best value in the area!
A.
I love this place. Had my first dinner out the other night after a long lockdown!
The food is authentic Italian. I was delighted to find out that the mozzarella comes from the town were my parents were born! Beautiful Puglia.
We had the honour of meeting the lovely chef. She is from Sicily and I can assure you all she knows how to cook! Will be back
G. D. G.
Very relaxing ambient, great Staff, amazing food and cocktails. A guarantee for a fab weekend!
K. F.
Small unbusy.restaurant food was very nice but extremely small portions e.g.5 pieces ravioli for a main course at approx £12. Bill for two came to £84 with one small glass of passable wine each Not good value for money in my view I wouldn't go again
Y. V.
The best service so far. There was two lovely girls Verona and Leyla the experience with them was amazing. We had so much fun and laugh. Highly recommend
F. W.
Food was okay, nothing outstanding. Juice wasn't fresh. Service was prompt.
O. O.
Excellent Italian place, friendly staff, amazing bar downstairs and well priced traditional italien food.
D. A.
Nice food! The menu is a little difficult to decipher. Went there for Sunday lunch and was a pleasant meal
S. S.
Average food but great atmosphere and good service
M. V.
Nice food and nice staff. Will be back!
R. B.
Excellent Italian Restaurant, food was very good and well priced.
R. M.
Good friendly service, fair prices, varied menu, lovely food. Would recommend
D. K.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Tiramasu was wow.
M. S.
Food was brilliant. The service was great to begin with, when it was busy, but tailed off when it got quieter. The 'Dolce' whilst slow coming, but well worth the wait.
P. S.
A post pandemic return to form for this excellent, good value Italian. The San Danielle ham and burrata were delicious and the drinks are very good too.
A. N.
The restaurant has a lovely ambience, the staff is so friendly and the service is good. My gnocchi was divine and honestly the best gnocchi I've ever had🥰
N. B.
Nice restaurant. Lovely staff. Meal was super tasty.
I. D. R.
The food is great and the restaurant is in the heart of London. This place is 100% Italian and I love it. 4 stars instead of 5 because the volume of the music was very loud and people were talking even louder.
A. C.
I had the biggest bowl of tagliatelle ragu and it was outstanding
a. w.
Gave me an amazing birthday experience. Great pasta. Good wine xxx
P. C.
Friendly staff and very good food. A bit pricey but this is London. Grazie mille
J. B.
Very accommodating when we needed to change a booking last minute. Food was great and staff were excellent!
S. K.
Great food! Great service! Very friendly waitress.
R. M.
Food is amazing. Starters are the best. Service was excellent. However we had three servers which was not very professional. First a very knowledgeable Italian guy, later a fabulous Estonian young lady and finally a quite unfriendly older woman that came with the bill. We would have appreciated to be served by one person. That's the only reason not to have 5*
P. B.
What a great find, we had a pre theatre lunch here for party of 7 and its lovely to come across a non chain family run italian. Atmosphere fab staff friendly and informative re the menu, which is limited - maybe only lunchtime? - however one of our party is dairy and red meat free..... they could not have been more helpful in adapting her choice. We chose a selection of 'small plates' for starters, lovely. Main courses were tasty and filling, good portions. Great wine and complimentary vermouth. Altogether an excellent start to our day out. Highly recommend.
T. A.
Place is nice, starters and bread were great. Wine was fine. But the main course was very very late to come. It was okay but not great.
Staff was very nice to manage situation but we had to stuff food and leave for the theatre. I think it is a good place but we had a tough luck.
J. B.
I've eaten here four times now and it is consistently excellent. We've always gone for the set menu: 3 courses and a glass of prosecco for £20! And for that price, you can't fault it. Great staff and good atmosphere. Highly recommended.
J. C.
Lovely place in Soho. Staff were very friendly - initially my partner and I just wanted a drink and some cake. This turned into a few more drinks and we were then met by some other friends. Venue was very accommodating, and incredibly reasonably priced. Spritzs were excellently made - would heartily recommend to anyone!
B. V.
Decent, down to earth simple Italian food. Unpretentious and competent service. Love the lighting. It is just the right atmosphere for after work socialising. I usually don't like dining in basement but the simple and spacious setting won me over. One of the better Italian restaurants in Soho and good value for money.
M. F.
Second time eating there. As always food is good and portions are generous. However experience was blighted by poor service. Firstly the waiter serving us struggled with his English, which meant we received the wrong food later on. Then, the wrong dishes were brought out at the wrong time and when we received incorrect food, no apology was given by any member of staff.
My first visit was great, second visit less so. Not sure there will be a third.
D. D.
Just had a lovely get together with friends and stumbles across this gem very randomly, and what a delightful surprise. Fantastic menu and very generous portions. The atmosphere was so relaxed and homely and the staff was beyond exceptional. The manager - Pietro, is the most wonderful human being in the world, so personable and kind. You should definitely check the place, you will not be disappointed! Can't wait to take my parents there next week. Thank you guys, you rock! X
W.
We visited the restaurant for our 5 year anniversary, and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend it. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant, very social, but perhaps a little loud for some tastes.
The selection of wines was good, and we had no trouble finding something we liked.
The food was lovely, and very reasonably priced considering the high quality. I would recommend the ascolana olives and the gnocchi.
We'll definitely return!
A. C.
Very busy place. Staff very attentive despite being so busy. Food was great. Vermouth cocktails even better.
P. B.
DELIVERY DRIVERS.
Deliveries go downstairs,
there's no lift,
and no help from anyone. So may be problematic depending on your policy.
A. D.
Excellent Italian food, some of the freshest pasta I have tasted in a long time. Crab brushetta was amazing
K. K.
I booked a table for two to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. He loves Italian food so I wanted to pick the best place. I read lots of great reviews online so I knew this was the place to go. They staff were so friendly and helped me to surprise the BF with his cake. Fabio looked after us that evening and he was absolutely amazing - really friendly! We ordered from the set menu which included two glasses of prosecco. Every course was 10/10. I'm not a big fan of Italian food and I loved the food here! The BF was very happy! A special thank you to Fabio for your help in making this such a magical dining experience. The decor was funky and colourful too. 5 star service and food!
U. T.
I visited the place on Friday, the 1st of February in the evening. The guy who served us was fantastic. He was warm, very friendly and made the best homemade lemonade ever. He really made my evening. I regret that I did not ask his name. He was a tall, black British gentleman. If the owners of the place read this review, please give him a tap to the back for the great job that he does.
I. W.
One of my favourite places in Soho, I come here quite often. Love their vegetables and these large gnocchi :)
M. B.
Love the selection of Vermouth and other wines. Staff is usually pretty attentive. Upstairs is quieter whereas downstairs gets a little too noisy later in the evening. Have been back a few times, and everyone I've taken with me so far really enjoyed it, too.
B. R.
Lovely staff and food, because of my dietary restrictions I had a simple tomato and basil spaghetti but it was so fresh and beautiful! I also had 2 cocktails which where amazing and made by the friendliest staff
D. R.
Nice place.. Quite commercial, food ok, nothing special
W. O.
Loved the warm atmosphere, the friendly service and the drinks. I'm a big salt user but unfortunately our steak was really over seasoned and my friend's turbot was a bit of a disappointment. The rest of our food was good and the desserts were top notch, I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
G. B.
Nice restaurant. I have previously been here for a birthday party and also more recently just for a drink. Ground floor bar is good place to sit at the bar and have a drink while in Soho. Food is good and they can cope well with large groups. They also let us bring in a birthday cake for the party. If you like vermouth I would highly recommend.
A. B.
This time we had to wait quite a long time for a table. The food was ok apart for the pasta where the chef simply forgot to salt the water. I might give it a last chance but they have to be careful with slow service especially on weekends. The tiramisu was nothing special and the coffee not up to standard. A generous 3 stars given that last time it wasn't this bad.
G. P.
Great cocktails and the bar is lovely. I had a homemade Vermouth which was excellent. Unfortunately the food was only average. There is a lot better Italian fare available in the area. A price of £24 for a veal cutlet that was nice but not exceptional felt too expensive .
Y. R.
The best gnocchi I have ever tasted.
S. M.
I love that this place is in the heart of Soho, yet isn't try hard! Delish food, amazing service and a lovely atmosphere - excited to make this a go-to :)
A. D.
Mele e Pere has become one of my favorite places to go when walking through Soho. This place is predominately a wine and vermouth bar. I had never had vermouth before, but upon entering the staff guided me though what it was and what I should try. Now this restaurant as become a place I take all of my friends as it is a great place for a catch up.
The staff are excellent and accommodating, the food is extremely well made. All in all, 5 stars are not enough for this fine place.
M. T.
Not our first choice, but Soho just before Christmas is busy!
It was full in the restaurant so we were offered a high table with fold-out bar stools - not the most comfortable table ever but it was good of them to accommodate us.
Decor is fine - unpretentious, functional, quite middle of the road. Verging on boring...
The service was very friendly - especially considering service charge was included. A refreshing change from the hurried, bustling service elsewhere in central London.
I had the pork - it was tender and well cooked, and £16 was probably about right. My companions had the steak, which was a big piece of meat - £48 shared between two - perhaps a little on the expensive side but it was well cooked and tasty.
We finished off our meal by sampling their home made vermouth - which was very impressive, especially the white, which had lovely herby, earthy flavours.
All in all, I prefer somewhere a little more intimate and with a stronger sense of identity. It was a good evening, with helpful, friendly staff, and tasty (but not extraordinary) food.
A. S.
Lovely cocktails. Good service
H. S.
Excellent restaurant. From there very well prices 3 course set menu (£20 WITH a glass of bubbles!) to the informed and attentive staff - my experience at Mele e Pere was top notch. All courses were freshly prepared, cooked and season to perfection. We opted for a bottle of the house white wine which was refreshing, and well priced. If you are looking for a great spot for a great price you cant go past this gem in amongst the rough of the west end tourist food scene!
J. N.
Wow. Just had a lunch here for the first time and will definitely be back. If you want the quick review then make sure you head there asap and try the T-bone steak alla fiorentina which is absolutely great. If you like decent meat then you just cannot be disappointed.
Actually, all of the food was spot on with the sharing starter dishes all being beautifully prepared. Favourites were the squid and the sardines which were bit of a change from the norm.
Staff were brilliant and the wine selection good.
S. a. E.
This was a nice and pleasant venue with happy friendly staff and good food. You even get a free complimentary shot upon arrival. The menu was a bit limited as we had a theatre and meal gift. Worth popping in if you are in Soho. Check out my YouTube videos and subscribe.
R.
Very nice freshly made pasta.
L. s.
Amazing food and value for money when using Virgin voucher. Starter (fried gnocchi and salami) was amazing. Beef Ragu was outstanding but the meat to pasta ratio was not very balanced, but can't complain about more Bolognese. Espresso on top of ice cream was to die for and tiramasu was not bad too. Amazing prosecco included in the voucher price. Could not have asked for a better meal. Thank you so much!
J. H.
I have been twice to Mele e Pere and both times was impressed at the quality of the food and value for money. My family and I visited with a £20 for three courses and a glass of wine offer from Open Table and had a great evening in a warm atmosphere with really delicious food. You should also try their range of vermouth!
R. L.
Nice place to have a drink; they offer a wide selection of Vermouths and wine. Snacks used to be quite generous a couple of years ago, but last time I visited (3 months ago) they had gone for smaller portions.
Z. C.
We were surprised at how big and nice the downstairs dinning area is. We were very excited about this place but I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed. Our waitress was grumpy, forgot about us right from the beginning and we had to chase her just to order drinks after a long wait. We ordered water (tap) but she sneakily brought us a regular bottle. Twice. Overall, service was slow and food was just ok.
Won't come back.
C. T.
great food and atmosphere with friendly staff
B. M.
Big fan of this place which at the edge of Soho. They have a solid pre theatre dinner: Good two and three course.Their pasta tastes home made. The boss is a pro and the staff are very cool Italians. They have a fair value spritz happy hour: 2 for 1. Also a brilliant selection of vermouths.
P. E.
Great service, authentic Italian food, good value for money and nice ambience! Highly recommend it.
A. D.
Food was ok, nothing amazing but good value for money. Service wasn't great though - I was sat at the table waiting to order a drink for about 15 minutes before a waiter came over - when I asked him for a Negroni (which is on their cocktail menu) he just replied "no" in broken English. I tried to explain, and he went away to speak to another waitress. After about 10 minutes he came back again. My partner had arrived by now, and she ordered a Negroni, and I asked where mine was - we had to point to it on the menu before he understood, then admitted that he had never told the barman that I had already ordered one!

Great place to spend time with friends. We stayed for hours and never felt like we were supposed to leave!
Food was absolutely gorgeous, good portions and authentic Italian flavours.
Great dinner, great service!
Thank you for the lovely evening

I was looking for somewhere for a quick lunch and when I saw "vermouth bar" on the pole by the door knew I had to drop in. They had a seat for me immediately, and happily complied with my request for a small taste of the house vermouth. My gnocchi was covered in truffle shavings and buttery beyond belief. (I almost asked for a spoon for the sauce!) The negroni was good, if a little over-iced, and the home-made vermouth added a lovely little extra spike to my cocktail. The staff were pleasant enough for a fast lunch. Over and done in 45 minutes; what more could you ask for?
S. M. A.
AMAZING! The welcome by staff, the food and the venue were faultless! Nothing negative to say and can only re-iterate every possible positive said before. Definitely going back. Thank-you for a wonderful evening.
Staff were extremely friendly.
Pietro and Matteo ensured that everything was perfect.

Lovely basement dining area. Lively atmosphere, cozy surroundings despite the open space. Magnificent bar. Superb service. Great place for a relatively casual get-together with family or friends.
If you enjoy quality wine, Mele e Pere offers much to please the taste buds.
I look forward to dining here again.

Absolutely awesome restaurant! I had spent 7 hours over two days trying to find a restaurant in Soho at such short notice that could accommodate 10 of us for a team dinner, and eventually found this place. Wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't heard about it and the reviews were not too amazing, but from the moment I tasted their balsamic vinegar (sweeet and thick - so delicious!) to the moment I smelt my amazing truffle risotto (the BEST I have ever had!), to finally the chocolate fondant with ice cream, that was it - I am hooked on this place! Good value for money. Great service. Excellent food! Enough said.
p. w.
Well worth the visit - pity the building is shrouded with scaffolding at the moment. Friendly service though a little too quick downstairs when eating unlike some previous reviewers. Excellent choice of Vermouths and my wife enjoyed her Aperol spritz. Set menu good value and tasty.
S. R.
Really tasty and good value for money. I went there for a business celebration and we absolutely loved the 3-course menu. The only thing is portions depending on different dishes can vary a lot, which isn't common but the food was amazing and I would recommend this place.
J. R.
Well priced set menu and I really enjoyed the food. Expected it to be average, tourist trap Italian but it all had an air of authenticity. I don't think I'd pay full price, it did look steep, but I'd come back for the set menu.
S. S.
Everything was over the top,
Wine was nice,
Starter simple but delicious,
Main: risotto was amazing.
Best tiramisù ate in London.
Waitress was friendly, polite and nice.
I recommend this place to everyone that is around Soho.
L. B.
What a surprise! The outside doesn't prepare you for the space inside, and they still manage to keep it intimate. Soft lighting, excellent food and all without realising you are in the heart of London. The staff are polite and efficient and the service leaves you feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy the remainder of the evening. Would definitely take a lady on a first date, take clients for a business meal or share an evening with friends. The best thing was how reasonable the price is, always the deciding factor - keep it up
J. D.
Nice little place and food was good. Would have been better if we actually knew what we were ordering from the menu. Tried to have a romantic meal but couldn't as we were put near the kitchen door where the staff hung out and we felt like we were being watched all the time.
J. H.
There was no possible way I was not going to like a place which has a whole page on its drinks menu dedicated to my favourite cocktail, the Negroni, with multiple options to choose from for the gin, the vermouth, and the bitters. This is probably the best place to go in London if you have an interest in vermouths, there's a good selection to try here and the (mostly Italian) bar staff seemed to have a good understanding of them.
Food was fairly good - I had the gnocchi with black truffle, which for the price I thought came with a generous serving of shaved fresh black truffle. Would have actually liked a slightly larger portion of gnocchi though.
We were there at the end of an evening when our group was already quite well, how should I say - refreshed? So I ought to return some time soon when a bit more objective to give it a fairer assessment - I could well see this becoming a five star place.
M. C.
They were possibly unusually busy or short on staff but we didn't have a great experience.
- 15mins wait for table
- Forgot our bread and olives
- Wrong dish for one person
- Raw prawn in another dish!!
We also weren't too impressed with mushroom risotto and beef ragu. We showed them the raw (grey) prawn and no one actually said sorry but they took the price off the bill.
N.
The food was very nice. The arancini were exceptional. Pumpkin risotto was delicious. Service was also very good.
I'm only giving it 3 stars because in the bill they added more drinks than what we had actually ordered. We only realised the following day so we could not claim the money back. So if you go there with a group check the bill!!!!!!
M. K.
Good atmosphere but food over cooked and waited a long time.
J. M.
One of those places that's opted to go that little bit more special. Worth coming here for their made-on-site vermouth-- and not just because it's homemade, but because it's genuinely good. The staff were busy (wise to book if you're in a group), but friendly.
It's a little dear-- not unreasonably priced, I think, but also something of a treat.
I didn't have a chance to try the food, but it sounded good on the menu.
C. T.
lovely food & drinks, great prices, superb service, Rona was our waitress and she was fantastic, we all had a great laugh with her
J. F.
Great but noisy Italian provider of well chosen and executed classics. Comfortable but crowded and noisy downstairs restaurant. Ground floor cocktail and vermouth bar slightly more spacious but spoiled by excessive music. Enthusiatic but not always accurate staff. Good for its Soho location.
L. H.
Delicious food and good service would recommend highly.
T. P.
Came here on Sunday for a birthday lunch. There was a huge group of us, and we had an amazing value Sunday set menu, 4 courses for £25...what a treat! Every dish was perfect, and the staff handled our messy group with humour and patience! Thank you Pietro and team, we'll be back!
T. P.
Amazing food. Fresh ingredients, great taste! Also a big thumbs up for the waitress that served us, Sarah, for her excellent service. Highly recommended.
C. L.
Food is truly amazing, but unless you have deep pockets , don't go hungry. I found the portions a bit small. The last course also includes cheese which helped curb my hunger. The wine list also has a super choice of Italian wines.
S. K.
We went in before the theatre and ordered from the pre-theatre menu which was reasonably priced (£20 for 3 courses) The food was very good quality and the service was fantastic. We sat upstairs and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. I’d happily go back again.
C. J.
I like this restaurant. The food is good quality - the burrata starter was delicious, although my main course (Ragu) was quite small and my dessert (vanilla panna cotta with fresh rhubarb) was a little bland. I've never tasted rhubarb so sweet (not in a good way). But overall, for a Soho restaurant it was good value, nice food, and a really nice atmosphere. The wine was slightly disappointing - I've bought their most expensive options in the supermarket for a tiny, tiny fraction of the price.
K. G.
Great place. First vermouth bar I've ever come across. Even does a fizzy wine/prosecco on tap! Lovely food. We had a set menu but would definitely return for the a la carte menu. Lovely friendly staff.

Perfect Modern Italian for a group of 8 on a busy Friday night in Soho
It is such a pleasure to write this review having been at Mele e Pere for the first time last night. I had taken a group of 8 friends out to watch some comedy and had booked Mele e Pere a few days prior for 9.30pm on a busy Friday night.
The whole experience from the initial booking was perfect. Working round the corner there are 100's of places to choose from in the West End but this place managed to get the right balance of friendly staff, casual but buzzy atmosphere, fantastic food and overall an easy manner with which the whole experience is run.
Having booked a table at 9.30pm we actually arrived 30 mins early as it was easier to head there than try and get 8 of us into another bar and out again post the comedy. Ed the GM was very accommodating and although our table was not ready suggested we grab a drink downstairs at their bar while our table is prepared.
With presecco on tap for the girls and beers for the boys we happily chatted away. We went for the £28 set menu which was excellent from start to finish. It turns out I should have told them before arriving that we wanted the set menu but the owner simply said, "give me a minute and I will check that we can still do it for you" returning with a thumbs up from the kitchen. The sharing plates worked well, the wine was good and not overpriced and the food was full of flavour.
Our waitress was excellent and when i asked for a break between mains and deserts she did exactly that. The 15 mins was just what we needed to give us time between courses.
Several drinks, lots of tasty food, coffees and all for £50 a head.
Well done guys. I will be back and happily recommend Mele e Pere to others.
T. W.
Booked for a pre-theatre time slot on a Thursday via their website, which was easy and quick with instant confirmation.
The decor is a little quirky, but very cool and had just the right vibe for the evening I had planned and didn't feel pretentious. We sat downstairs which was a lot larger than I expected.
We ordered off the pre-theatre menu, which had a small choice - but some very safe options which should suit everyone. The food was excellent, with nice portions with lovely flavours, so cannot fault.
Toilets are pleasant with paper towels and fresh soap.
R. C.
Food was fantastic. You MUST try the meringue dessert. Its heaven in a bite. And very light so you'll find room even if you are full after dinner. Main was ragu which was good too.
N. Y. L.
Very good Italian food. Their deep fried squid, smoked garlic aioli was superb and the helping was generous. The silver bream was superb while their tiramisu is very well done and is not too sweet. The panna cotta is a must try desert.
J. A.
Decent for lunch. Friendly staff. Nice location.
K. W.
Beautiful area, and the basement is hidden so it feels like you're walking backwards in time. Visited here with a tour, and came back two days later. Try their homemade cocktails, better than what you'd get in most bars, as they brew their own liquor for some of them. Get there early, book a table for a large group, and relax.
V. R.
Lovely hidden place in Soho. Amazing pasta with truffle and beef ragu tagliatelle.
Vibe was amazing and the staff very attentive. They made us wait quite some time for our pasta dishes after a (very good) melanzane parmigiana so they invited us to a couple of limoncello's at the end!
A. C.
As an Italian, I am generally not inclined to eat italian food when out because the original recipes, outside from Italian borders, are twisted to meet local tastes. Despite all of the above, this restaurant has maintained the original recipes and is definitely one of the best restaurants I ever tried so far. Go on!
F. P.
Left disappointed as had high hopes for this place. Starters were pleasant as were the cocktails however the service was disjointed, the beef ragù was exceptionally salty and despite offering feedback, there was minimal interest or desire to compensate for the negative experience.
J. C.
Lovely little gem in the middle of soho
S.
Gorgeous hidden little spot. Unassuming from the street but downstairs is a vibrant basement setting with Italian charm. Great for groups or more intimate dinners alike.
J. P.
Italian restaurant and vermouth bar perfect for pre or post theatre eating. It is about 4 minutes walk from the Queen's Theatre and, whilst being expensive (I mean, for central London you'd be hard pressed to find cheap options) the food is awesome. We had the black truffle gnocchi, nduja olives and beetroot with truffled goats cheese. All of the food was exceptional and the wine was great too (malbec). The staff were attentive and overall service excellent. Just be prepared to pay a 12.5% service charge that seems to be included in all London eateries. It's discretionary, but I would still pay it, the cost of living in London is foul!
s. c.
Ate the 2 course lunch as part of the pre theatre package. Very tasty, nice ambiance! Overall it was a fantastic start to afternoon at the theatre! Just be aware that some of the theatres are approx 15 min walk away!
S. D.
This place was on my list of places to try out for so long. Went there just for an Aperitivo and we were very pleased with the drinks and nibbles. Good service too. A bit pricey for our budget, but we will definitely be back!
P. H.
Food: pasta and wine was decent. However the food took a long time to get ready. The ambiance was very noisy and overcrowded (talking was difficult, and we had to shout).
A. S.
I haven't eaten at Mele e Pere just yet, but I'll definitely be back to their basement bar. It wasn't too busy for Soho, with decor that nodded to retro Italy and, best of all, this place makes their own vermouth on-site - definitely an interesting fact to impress someone with. Staff were incredibly charming, and that delicious vermouth really needs to be tried.
D. D.
Rib eye very tender and tasty! Food in general good quality. Service was friendly. And the tiramisu has an amazing surprise.....a real coffee kick at the bottom of the savoiardi...well done!
H. M.
A lovely time. Lovely atmosphere, great price deals and meals, can accommodate big groups, nice staff. All round positive time in a very central spot.
P. N.
Lovely place, went there for aperitivo, can recommend the Negroni
G. B.
Mele e Pere is a place in Soho that you can easily walk past without even grasping what this shop is about. One lazy afternoon I popped in and was delighted with some very tasty Italian food.
Immediately when I entered the restaurant, I was seated in the street level bar area by a very nice and friendly waitress. There is also a restaurant seating area downstairs.
I started my late lunch with an assortment of delicious bread. When I questioned the waitress about the orange-coloured bread, she explained that the colour comes from tomatoes. They bake the breads themselves, allowing them to create different mixes when they like. Besides the bread, I also ordered arancini as starter, which tasted fabulous.
As main I went for a small tagliatelle with beef ragù. First of all, it was looking beautiful. Besides looking great, it also tasted excellent. Although you could think of it as just another bolognese dish, it tasted far better than any bolognese pasta I tasted before.
To finish my meal, I selected the strawberry tart. It was difficult to pick one of the delicious dessert options, but the strawberry tart sounded good and was even better on the plate.
Mele e Pere is truly an excellent Italian restaurant. The dishes look great and taste even better than they look. The service is impeccable and the staff are very friendly. I did not quite understand, why I got two glasses of cloudy homemade lemonade instead of one and after I did not look at my bill in detail, I did not notice it when I paid. But as I will definitely go there again, I am sure I will make up for it rather sooner than later.
C. T.
A soho tour took us in here for a sample drink. From outside, the wall of small glass bottles was stunning - as another review says, it's not immediately obvious what the place sells (it's vermouth and drinks). We sampled some vermouth (and were given a great history about the way it's produced, though I now forget this). I loved the vibe - relaxed, noisy, but not too boisterous.
Y. R.
food is good , nothing unique .
price for the 2 dishes in 16 GBP on Sunday is a good deal
general atmosphere is nice
I drunk a vermouth to start with, I don't recommend . it wasn't that good.
the wine was great
H. P.
Came here for NYE's dinner. Excellent food and the staff are really friendly. The drinks are really something special though and would recommend working your way through the cocktail and amari list!
L. G.
Very nice, young Italian, stylish restaurant. Excellent food and service. There was a wide choice on the menu and all the usual drinks plus some unusual ones.
H. T.
Nice space, good value for money, great negroni's. Beef ragu was very nice with fresh silky pasta and sauce with a nice depth and body of flavour.
Beer menu could be better, but made up for with the spectacular negroni line-up.
E. M.
Great Italian food. Portions could be bigger.
C. C.
Very fresh and tasty Italian food and style! We had spritz, bruschetta with pesto and mozzarella, clams, cheeses choice, focaccia etc!! You can't miss the his place!!
A. P.
The staff were amazing, really friendly, and the food was delicious. Not really expensive for London either, I will be going back. I would recommend booking though, it was very busy
K. W. C.
Lovely food, helpful staff and reasonably priced for the area.
W. H.
Really friendly place with excellent pasta, proper homemade tiramisu, and lovely spritzes.
A. K.
Have been here many times over the past 3-5 years and it only gets better.
Tucked away from the street level, it's a hidden gem with amazing Italian food and drinks, great decor and ambiance as well as attentive, kind service.
J. M.
Delicious and authentic Italian cuisine
N. B.
For me it's a bit overpriced for what you get. Is quite chaotic inside. Our table was over half an hour late being ready, so we ended up getting food at the bar to start us off whilst we waited for the table.
V. R.
I was treated tò lunch here by a friend but felt a bit guilty that the price tag for the food was far more substantial than it's portions. A very pleasant environment though.
S. F.
a very nice italian restaurant with a friendly staff
D. A.
Great Italian bar and trattoria. They have an impressive selection of vermouths, and some delicious and authentic Italin cuisine.
P. L.
Mele e Pere has to have one of the most beautiful window displays in London - filled with coloured glass apples and pears (inspired by the name) that glisten in the light. Once inside, the decor is simple with the basement filled with chunky wooden tables and chairs. The food is traditional Italian with a modern twist, and is really good, although a tad expensive. Go during the week and try it out with their lunch menu for just £8.50.
S. W.
Fabulous food, menu short but always changing, and amazing value set menus (3 courses with a glass of prosecco for £20). Great atmosphere downstairs as well.
S. C.
Popular and busy bar and restaurant. The food is good and fairly reasonable priced, especially if you take to one of the offers or fixed price menu. A good bar with good range of drinks.
D. M.
Really nice fresh Italian food, had a set menu for £20 which was a bargain. Attentive staff, can't fault at all. We will be back.
L. G.
Very nice, young Italian, stylish restaurant. Excellent food and service. There was a wide choice on the menu and all the usual drinks plus some unusual ones.

What an amazing restaurant.
Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, beautiful drinks and impeccable service.
Will definitely come back very soon. 10/10

Food was a restricted menu and fantastic. All the dishes were fantastic. Not very Christmasy but brilliant all the same.
I. R.
Had my birthday dinner there and I could not be more impressed! Lovely food, friendly staff, amazing prices, good location and well-decorated restaurant. Would highly recommend to anyone!
L. K.
Lovely, spacious space downstairs. Great stuff. Delicious food. Famous place to try vermouth, great selection, check spesial menu for vermouth to select.
R. J.
Nice place (Soho), not very expensive. The service could be more efficient. Meals are ok. Good place for a quick glass of wine or beer with your friends or family.
X. C.
Great welcome and fantastic service. I loved the food.
E. B.
Had a great dinner here -- food was delicious, staff were great and it had a cosy feel to it. Would go again! Only comment is that it felt slightly pricey.
J. R.
Excellent £20 menu with a glass of bubbles and the food was very good. Shame the waiter didn't listen, when I said I didn't want another beer, and he brought one, anyway.
P. E.
Go for the starters : ultra fresh and high quality.
Stay for the pasta : better than in many an Italian.
And of course, the vermouth are truly nice.
Also, friendly staff.
G. B.
Mele e Pere is located on famous Brewer street,Soho district. We came only for a drinks,as it was part of American Express small business promotion , and it was our first time here. I was looking for premium spirit's,however I coudn't find Belvedere or Grey Goose vodka on the menu. For £8 they offer very average spirits. Coctails in my opinion are expensive in terms product quality and ingredients used.
Downstairs was more space and additional seating. Place are clean, however not modern. 4 stars.
V. L.
Love the authentic Italian vibe of these place. Pop in for a Vermouth at the bar downstairs, just like Italians do, or try their kitchen which mixes Italian and English ingredients (for instance they have "panettone and butter pudding" in december).
Amazing selection of white and red vermouths.
N. S.
One of my favorite meals from my recent trip to London, this Italian restaurant is a total success. The upstairs room when you walk in is small, but the entire window is adorned with glass apple and pear (mele e pere) figures, which made for a dynamic display. The main room is downstairs, and has a very trendy but not overkill vibe, with vintage tables, chairs, lighting and posters all over the place. Everything I ordered was a hit, from the negroni to start, to the burratta, right down to the pork dishes and meatballs that filled our table. If you're looking for a great Italian meal in the neighborhood, this is it.
L. C.
Albanian staff super nicer with us. Good tasted so good.
T. R.
Amazing Italian dishes ,good balanced cocktails and good service! it’s was a valuable food taste experience
E. S. P.
I visited this place for an Aperol Spritz, therefore I cannot comment on food. My drink was nice and well presented, staff was also friendly. Definitely worth going back for a dinner!
M. R.
The best Italian in Soho, the food is fresh and the staff are the best. we love this place
J. H.
Great service, value for money on the set lunch menu and a friendly, warm atmosphere. Highly recommended, try the ‘Vermouth Tasting Flight’ if you are not that familiar with the drink.
P. R.
Great food and wine. Bruschetta and Olives were especially nice.
d. s.
Amazing food the pasta was gorgeous
N. E.
Really enjoyed our pre theatre meal. Excellent value for the quality of food we had. Would definitely return when we are in London again.
G. L.
Terrible service - at every point we had to ask the waitress to order, to pay etc - would not recommend coming here
f. s.
Proper cooking mild tasting recepies
A. C.
Very good and authentic Italian food, I love their Fiorentina stake. The restaurant is in the basement but it's so nicely decorated that it's not an issue. Recommend
B. H.
Some of the best Italian food I've had in London, and brilliant staff too. Not too noisy, great for a catch up with friends.
V. P.
What an amazing restaurant.
Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, beautiful drinks and impeccable service.
Will definitely come back very soon. 10/10
J. V. R.
Sub-level restaurant is a great hidden jem. Great Italian where flavour is priority! The variety off choices in Vermouth are great
O.
Overall a very good Italian place where to have an aperitif and a meal. Food is good. Spritz is lovely. Staff is caring.
g. f.
Had a pre theatre meal. Great price £20 for 3 course n glass of bubbly. Food was lovely, staff were very pleasant would def go back.
K. B.
My friend Jess promised me a fabulous Dirty Martini there - and she wasn't wrong. Lovely and quiet, with a chilled out ambience. A shining light in an area not blessed with bars!
W.
Authentic Italian. Their san daniele ham with Fritti is a great dish to start. Beef ragu pasta is always a go to dish for me. Their before theater menu is the best option for a under 30 gbp dinner.
T. C.
Excellent food. Service was a little slow considering only a few tables of customers, but otherwise a solid choice for lunch.
C. S.
A nice cozy place to have a drink and a bite with your friends.
If you are into food, you definitely need to try the "gnocchi fritti " and the "burrata"!
D. H. G.
Damn good. Ragu is enormous, tagliatelle properly al dente, wine robust and characterful, service proper, style spot on. Bangin spot in bonkers Soho, a sweet spot that'll please a lot more people while it's this good.
O. T.
Good italien restaurant with Nice dinner menu at only 20 £ for good quality of food. Atmosphere is nice and staff is friendly. Recommend !
J. L.
Decent lunch well priced. Went with set lunch which was good and very Italian. Might go a large care next time
S. S.
Ambiance superb , staff 'the best' , food exquisite -try 'rib eye ' & T-bone steaks , plus authentic Italian dishes.
Vermouth / cocktails to die for !!👌
A. P.
Had the 3 course meal and prosecco option. Great although I wasn't a fan of the Orriechette, which I found slightly bitter. Good service made up for it though
C. C.
Great food and atmosphere. Could be a little too busy and loud on Fridays and weekends so if you want to experience more quiet dining a weekday is better.
R. G.
Popular and busy bar and restaurant. The food is good and fairly reasonable priced, especially if you take to one of the offers or fixed price menu.
A.
great Italian bistro. fantastic food, original wine from Italy. worth going!
F. B.
Great pre-theatre menu, very well priced and interesting selection of food. Shame that the service wasn't a very good standard although they seemed very understaffed...
S. M.
Unassuming vermouth bar in the heart of Soho offering a wide variety of interesting drinks, comfortable seating - especially downstairs - and friendly service.
C. E.
Lovely food, friendly service, excellent value prix fix menu for lunch/pre-theatre, cosy atmosphere too!
F. D. C.
An authentic Italian cusine in the very heart of London. Amazing the antipasti and the pasta. Good value for money
n. w.
Cracking place for pre theatre food. Absolutely fantastic steak, best I've had in a long time. You have to book but it's worth it.
J. B.
Good food, great service. Don't get phased by the front. Always been a bit off putting but go in, walk down and it's a lovely cellar. Definitely recommend it.
P. G.
This restaurant won’t blow you away. But the value on their set menus makes it an easy choice for group events with mixed tastes.
S. K.
Nice restaurant, a bit pricey but the food is great and good service. It was recommended to me by an Italian friend who rated it highly.
T. B.
Amazing meal and brilliant value for money too. Very good service. Well worth a repeat visit.
G. E.
Lovely and convenient place, with genuine recipes and enough space to accommodate even small groups relatively easily. Very friendly service and on the whole worth the money.
E. S.
Wonderful modern italien comfort food. We had the lunch deal with fizz which was incredible value.
P. B.
Food was a restricted menu and fantastic. All the dishes were fantastic. Not very Christmasy but brilliant all the same.

C. C.
Decent price with good cocktails, main menu food is just above average but reasonably priced given its location
M. S.
We love it here. Extremely good value prix fixe lunches, warm welcome, excellent cooking
O. P.
Starters were huge, but overly salty. Steak was ok, but I'd expect way better for that price. And it was not salty enough. Service was quite fine.
P. C.
Always great food, great service. Front of house staff get a bit dramatic if you haven't booked.
M. W.
It's all about the vermouth and THAT spag bol!
S. M.
Loved the food set menu was so good and reasonably priced and you got a glass of bubbly
T. L.
Food OK, service very good, pretty decent but not outstanding. Expensive for average pasta, but pleasant place to catch up with friends
I. C.
Fresh lovely ingredients accompanied by an extensive vermouth menu. Great value for money with the pre-theatre menu!
B. N.

Underground Italian who aren't afraid to serve up a healthy portion. Lovely atmosphere with soft mood lighting
M. M. D. C.
Went for a group birthday and we had great fun! The service wasn't super precise but they made every effort to accommodate our needs.
B. M.
The food is very good.
The service staff seemed pre-occupied so to get 5 stars means that whoops it's dropped to 4.
A. M.
The set menu was excellent value and they serve the best prosecco
R. P.
For a place near the tourist hub of Piccadilly Circus, the food was of surprisingly high quality. Definitely recommend.
N. D.
Good food and drinks. Mulled vermouth at Christmastime was interesting (in a good way!) and the espresso martini is delish
J. C.
Very nice competitively priced restaurant I the West End. You'll eating a lot worse and pay more.
