Amazing amazing amazing! Can I give 10 stars? Went there for lunch with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed the while experience from start to finish! Food fabulous! Coffee fabulous! Staff amazing! Ambience amazing! What's not to like! Definitely recommend! We had the vongole pasta and two Napoli pastas and they where all cooked to perfection and fresh! Very tasty indeed

Past looked good but didn't taste as great as it looked. My the biggest disappointment was the mozzarella, I was expecting to taste a great bufala mozzarella but wasn't just a normal. Mozzarella, I am Italian i have tested few good buffalo Mozzarella in the past.

Food was absolutely delicious. From starter to dessert, every dish was perfectly seasoned and served at best temperature. Only downside was the service. It was extremely difficult to grab attention from waiters and took 10 mins for bills to come back. Every waiter has way too many tables to cover, almost out of their capacity. This place needs more staff.

Nice location next to South End green. The food is decent but it isn't mind blowing. I ordered the steak with mushrooms and it was fairly good. I would probably go there again someday as it is local to me. But it would not be my first choice. But then again I am not a huge fan of Italian food. As a side note I was in Puglia for a wedding and the food there was mind-blowing. I have been unable to recreate that experience in London.

Oh my goodness this place was awesome! We were very lucky to have found it on a warm day as we were able to sit outside. There were 7 of us and every single person left feeling very happy with the food. The service was good too, we were made to feel very comfortable. Top marks! Will definitely b coming back.

While the pasta is lovely and delicious in this little Italian joint staffed by people who know and love the food, I didn't get the dreamy pizza I had hoped for, wet and undercooked in the middle of an otherwise well seasoned dish. Don't let my one off experience put you off, the pastas were delicious and should be tried if you're nearby.

Absolutely delicious meal and fantastic service! Lori couldn't have been more helpful in helping us decide what to order as everything looked amazing. We ended up going for the calamari and scallops to start and vongole spaghetti and Paccheri for mains. Everything was cooked beautifully and plates were left clean. Even managed to fit in the homemade tiramasu which was delicious!

Absolutely loved my pizza. Nice thin crust, quality mozzarella and great base sauce. All my years hanging around Hampstead I tended to walk past this restaurant but now i shall make sure i go back in. My friend's gnocchi was delicious too. Really appreciated the warm friendly service we got too. Only eaten there once but so far I like it enough to recommend it to others. There are a few outdoor tables for Covid friendly dining.

The food came really fast and was really delicious. The service was excellent and the waiter was really nice. There were two of us and so he offered to split the bill into two which was really nice of him. We had one pizza slice left and he packed it up in a takeaway box for us. The atmosphere was really nice and although there weren't many people there due to Covid-19, everything still felt normal. There was really nice music playing as well. The plates got cleared away very quickly and although the leg space wasn't much (I'm really tall) it was still amazing and if I had chosen a table outside I probably would have had more leg room. There is an extensive dining room. The menu is varied and fairly priced and has food from £6.00 to £30.00. Overall a wonderful experience and would come again. I recommend getting a takeaway and then eating the food in Hampstead Heath Park (eating in is excellent too).

Visited with a friend on Friday evening. In summary the food was lovely but the service was dreadful. In fact it wasn’t service, we pretty much had to hunt down a waiter anytime we needed something. First drinks order was wrong, second attempt took ages to arrive and required us to prompt the waiter. Starter arrived followed by a very, very lengthy wait for our main. In the meantime we had nobody ask if we were okay, apologise or even ask if we wanted more drinks. We then had to ask for our plates to be cleared and then ask for the bill, from which we promptly requested the service charge be removed. We then requested if we could take the remainder of an unfinished pizza home. No problem they said as they took it away. It never returned. You guessed it... we had to go and find it ourselves. It spoilt an otherwise good meal given we were constantly trying to ply catch the passing waiter. We noticed other tables complaining. I might order Deliveroo pizza from here again but unfortunately I won’t be recommending it or trying again myself for some time.

Lovely place serving delicious Italian food, I have recommended this place to many people. Yesterday, I visited the place for the first time following the lockdown experience, regrettably service was slightly disappointing - the restaurant was quite busy, but were offered a table almost immediately, but had to wait around 15 minutes for the waiter to clean the table after the previous visitors. We were't offered the menu straight away, luckily the family that sat on the table next to us gave us a menu. Food arrived quite quick. After we received the bill, we wanted to use toilet facilities, but were stopped by administration quoting "due to Covid-19 restrictions, customers cannot use toilet facilities", which is understandable, but would've be great if we were informed upon arrival to to the restaurant, or alternatively offered a hand sanitiser. Hopefully things will improve on our next visit :)

Went to Mimmo La Bufalas for the 2nd time since I have lived in London, this time for my birthday dinner with friends. In my mind, it was a good Italian restaurant, but my memory was a bit hazy. It turns out, I was absolutely right. It is a charming setting, great food and great specials. Furthermore, the cherry on top of a lovely meal and evening was the wonderful service by our waiter Michele who took care of us impeccably and upon hearing it was my birthday served us complimentary Tiramisu. Best Pizza I have had in London - Can't wait to go back!

What a gem! Authentic Italian food, cooked fresh and simply. Top quality and delightful staff. Great atmosphere and we felt really welcome when we visited. Some of these restaurants can be a bit stuffy - pretentious as well as too hot to feel comfortable but the temperature was homely, again the staff super helpful though not overbearing and all this made a great experience. Try the crab starter and seafood soup :0). They make their own bread too so add this to your list and enjoy.

We had an amazing, romantic Christmas dinner. The food is very authentic, and the waiters were extremely kind, especially Sara. She gave us excellent reccomendations, and was very accommodating in helping my girlfriend organize a beautiful surprise for me. We recommend the gnocchi, which is homemade. This was previously part of a chain then spun off. The food is delicious. It's mostly adults there, but we've had a friendly welcome when bringing an under 5 and seen others in there with children. The pizza menu is fairly priced for what you get, try the mimmo pizza with scamorza and other cheeses, or go for the calzone that's so big it's hanging off the plate. You won't go home hungry ;)

My husband picked this restaurant to propose to me in. It was so good we had our wedding lunch here - and it was really fantastic. Had several meetings with Mimmo to plan (one of which he invited us to join him for dinner!) The food was wonderful - endless mixed starters of fresh, highest quality Italian delicacies followed by a selected range of meat, fish and veg dishes from the menu. Kind and attentive staff. Going back to celebrate my Mum's 80th there! A classic Italian restaurant.

I was taken along with a few friends who have been before as they love this restaurant. From the window it looks small but when I went into this restaurant it just transformed. I straight to feel like I'm in Italy and the smell of original italian cooking and pizzas in the oven. It felt so cozy and very nice feeling with real Italian food. As I used to work as a chef I can tell the restaurants food was so authentic. I can tell that the owner is so passionate about the food and wine in his restaurant. Freshly made pasta with smoked salmon was so so amazing. All the ingredients were fresh and generous and every ingredient was in harmony in my mouth. Yes of course folded pizza was soooo good and I even eat all the pizza bread base I m no Gordon Ramsey but I was thinking Gordon will say this pizza base was perfectly cooked. I can still remember the taste of the mozzarella of the pizza. Normally in other restaurant you can't taste the mozzarella cheese. The atmosphere was welcoming and surrounded by happy italian customers. Except one very noisy and very rude customer trying to not pay service charge as the card machine wasn't ready so that manager seems asking for the cash payment and she treated them like criminal tax evaders. The manager stayed calm with a polite, apologetic manner. I had really good service, altogether an excellent experience. Well recommended, I can't wait to go there again with friends and will have this special treatment feeling again.

I have first come here several years ago and was impressed with the quality of the food. I've been back many times since with family and friends who have complimented the menu. The negatives? Service can be slow when you're in a group and some of the waiting staff might come across a little off at busy times. During the summer months it's nice to get the table outside, or at the open window. The food is very tasty, my all time favorite is Orecchiette alla Sofia.

Not a bad Italian restaurant but the price is on the expensive end. The starters were good but the portions were on the small side for their prices. The pasta could have been more 'al dente' to my liking and in general the pasta dishes are more expensive than from a chain, like e.g. Caluccio. Only was there for lunch but it is still an OK place to try out if you are tired and looking for place to eat in the area after a long walk at the heath.

The food is OK. The sea bass was not cooked as the way I ordered. The service is awful. My friend ordered a starter and a main, but requested the main to be the same SIZE as a starter. The waitress totally messed up by serving the main as the starter and the starter as a main. If she was confused, she could just verify with us. Also my friend requested no service charge as the waitress got her meal wrong. The two receipts then appeared very different and it looked like there was some implied charges within service charges. Not going there again for sure.

Mimmo la Bufala is one of the best restaurants London has to offer. It's a real pearl in fact, with a real family business atmosphere where you feel welcome, surrounded by incredibly helpful staff who perform an impressive personalised, high level luxury customer service in a very warm way. When I paid a compliment to the owner's daughter Paula she said "we are all like a family here". That is very sweet. The atmosphere is very cosy yet chic. From the main floor with multiple tables each covered with a fresh, snow white table cover, finished with a romantic tea light you can see the kitchen through the glass window where all the magic happens. You feel very confident about the food being handled and cooked properly and with care because it's all visible. The other side of the floor is completed with a beautiful bar decorated with azure mozaic tiles and lights gently illuminating the floor. There is another smaller floor by the entrance with several tables and a few tables outside. And the most important -food! The food is absolutely beautiful. Served at the right temperature and as fresh as it can be, made from scratch. I was having a special starter of bufala mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, rocket olive oil; main- Fresh Seabass alle zucchine; side- roast potatoes and a chocolate tart for a desert. I can not say what I enjoyed the most because everything was just perfect. You would think simple roast potatoes is something you can cook by yourself. Yes, you can, but these were just perfect. Not too greasy, with a very pleasant garlic taste. The Seabass was so soft, it was melting in the mouth, but the zucchine on the top was crunchy. I am so thankful to my colleague for showing me this wonderful place and my friend who I took here today was very impressed too. I would definitely recommend Mimmo la Bufala to all the good people who want to enjoy great food, luxurious atmosphere and experience warm yet highly professional customer service.

After an especially gluttonous week within which Italian dishes dominated, we decided to visit Mimmo La Bufala for dinner on New Years Eve's eve. Between 3 of us we ordered a gnocci, a pizza, a lasagne, a penne, a variety of starters, and a bottle of wine. Whether because of the company, or the wine, or the cosy atmosphere, the meal was memorable and genuinely outstanding. I shall return at some point.

Probably as good Italian food as you'll find this side of Italy. Previously, this was Fratelli la Bufala, before the family went their separate ways and Fratelli went the wider, chain route. Here, you'll find perfect pasta, and hearty meat and fish dishes. Just be ready for them to expect you'll want a full feast of antipasti, pasta, mains and dessert!

If you are happy to spend a long evening here with slightly stereotypical waiter bant and don’t mind reminding the servers to get whatever it was you needed 20 mins ago, you’ll have a great time. If you’re stopping by for a quiet meal you might find it as my partner described ‘annoying at the time, funny in retrospect’.

What a charming, warm and friendly experience!!! After spending the day celebrating my birthday, my friends and I had the challenge of finding a restaurant in Hampstead that would suit us all. It wasn’t just due to availability but also dietary requirements, tastebuds and customer service expectations as we were very disappointed by another place that had such an unpleasant service after being there for ten minutes, we decided to leave. My friend found Mimmo La Bufala here on google maps. From the moment we arrived, we felt the welcoming warmth from every staff member, proud and happy with a positive vibe! Susy was our waiter, he was funny, charming and attentive -my brother ordered an Espresso Martini, which isn’t a drink from their selection, and instead of being told no, they asked how he would like it prepared and he absolutely delighted with the version they made for him! As for the food, ohhh there’s nothing better than having a “homemade” meal!!! Everything was delicious and the portions were much larger than your usual serving. Another thing we appreciated so much about this charming restaurant and their staff, is that they made us feel welcome the entire night, we stayed for quite some time and even though it got really late they never made us feel the need to order more or rushed to finish up and leave. Oh and Susy somehow gave me a nickname during the evening they used it whilst singing me happy birthday hehehe! It was such a lovely experience, it made my birthday feel even more special. We don’t get to Hampstead that often and don’t know any of the local restaurants so we took a chance on this place. We’re pleased that we did. We were warmly welcomed and, although there was only three of us, were shown to a roomy window table for four. The menu is extensive with many dishes that have been dropped from Italian restaurants elsewhere. I had the aubergine starter and the Osso Bucho, both of which were excellent. My sister-in-law is coeliac and can’t eat anything with gluten but the restaurant coped with this admirably. We also had a very nice bottle of merlot. The service was exemplary. Shame we don’t live closer.
