Nice little restaurant with italian style cuisine. The staff is nice and price acceptable thinking that's in the centre. It's situated on a side street so it's peaceful to eat. It has a simple and relaxing atmosphere. Down side the place is a little tight. The pizza is tasty with nice thin crust and fresh ingredients. The place needs some improvements however.

I am happy I tried this place. I ordered Bruschetta as starter and a pizza Crudo. Really liked both. I should also mention the first proper cappuccino that I found in London was served here. Also, for the location the price is normal. The waiter was kind and served us fast, did a good job. The toilet was also clean, however I should remark that there was only hot water coming from the tap which was so hot that is was steaming. I guess it is a temporary problem, hence still 5 star rating.

Visited here on my first night on holiday in London, and found Mio's on nearby on Google maps, needless to say we stumbled across a hidden gem! Absolutely the best pizza I have ever had and would recommend it to absolutely anyone visiting London!

Absolute hidden gem! The best part of going to the office is getting lunch from this amazing restaurant! They have even meal deals on takeaway pizza and pasta at lunch time, check them out!

It's a small place (not more than 10 tables), with a home feeling. The pizzas were great (excellent crust, non dripping slice). They went over the top so my vegan wife can have a great meal. They serve with a smile which gives this establishment a perfect 5/5.

Came here last night with the family and was beyond pleased!. We was coming from out of town and decided to try an Italian restaurant as we all fancied some pizza and my goodness it was beyond my expectations absolute 10/10!!!!, my daughter is very picky with her food so the waitress recommend a creamy pasta dish which she surprisingly loved!!. AMAZING service the waitress was so lovely and made sure we was looked after whilst managing a full restaurant with the food and service combined I can’t give them anything else but a 10/10😁, definitely recommending to my friends and family in London!

Such good pizza and a very convenient location. We had the Thai Chicken pizza and it was so much better than expected. Their crust is the perfect balance between crispy and soft. Our server was very welcoming and took good care of us. We will definitely be coming back!!

This place is a bit of a hidden gem and a go to for a mid-week after work dinner with friends. So glad to see Mio still here post-Covid! The food is fine (hence 4 stars and not 5) but it's outstanding value (a pizza and bottle of beer for £10) with friendly staff, excellent service and good change from the chains nearby.

Visited based on previous top reviews and I was not disappointed. Traditional Italian menu at very affordable pricing. Premises is small but a great atmosphere enhanced by attentive staff. Portion size are reasonable everything is prepared and cooked openly. Looking forward to a return visit.

They only do mainly pasta and pizza. I had their special of the day gnocchi al gorgonzola, which was great, Gorgonzola was not too strong but at the right note. I didn't eat the pizza but it didn't look too bad, not the original Neapolitan pizza but better then London average pizza.

A HIDDEN GEM Been there at least 5 times over the period of one year. MUST say the please looks clean and well furnished. Their pastas are very good and reasonably priced. This is a special place! Not very big but thank goodness because the service is second to none and it is spotless! Food? We’ll I have travelled and let me say we were delighted to find such a jewel so close to our hotel! Fresh pasta, excellent sauces and the red pepper sauce they bring you just try to not ask for more! They were so endearing even though we thought we couldn’t eat another bite they gave us a tiramisu on the house and we finished it ! Will visit again for sure. Fantastic find!! Just round the corner from Strutton Ground. This place has been around for 4 years and I only just found it today - pizza was both delicious and very good price. £6.95 for a standard size Italian pizza. I had a vegetarian one and it was fabulous😋😋

This restaurant is a real find. Sitting amongst the chain restaurants and the well known, don’t over look this place. It is small and tight but how much room do you really need?! The food is outstanding. Some of the best Italian we have had in a long while, so we ate here on consecutive nights. We tried the vegetarian ravioli, the tagliatelle, pizza and House special gnocchi; all of it was excellent. Welcoming front of house, good wine and the usual suspects of beers. Go and enjoy!

Best food we've had in our two week stay in England. Full of flavor in all the right proportions. Home made pasta, which was amazing. The three of us had ravioli, spaghetti bolognese and margherita pizza. I tasted all three and every one was stunning. Couldn't recommend one above the other, though I'm not sure I've tasted pizza this good anywhere. Very affordable. I would expect food like this to be triple the price. The restaurant is small so there wasn't a din of noise from dozens of conversations. We'd come all the time if we didn't live 8000 miles away.

Id recommend phoning ahead if you have special dietary needs and want rapid service. Highly recommend this place if you want good authentic Italian not from a high street chain.

I met a friend for lunch here and have to say, what an amazing find! The team are so friendly, helpful and professional! I dialled the number to save it before they opened so I could book a table, however I received a call just before they were opening to check if I needed something as they had a missed call! They took my booking and when I arrived the table was made available when in advance of the booking even thought he restaurant was very busy. I definitely recommend this if you fancy a simple pizza/pasta lunch at a decent price.

Small Italian restaurant, choice of pizzas or pasta. Food very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Pizzas were distinctly a notch above the normal chain variety. Prices were reasonable for central London, most dishes being £6.95 though it appears on Monday they have a special offer of the same dishes for £5. Can’t rate the Mio Restaurant highly enough. The food was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and also accommodated two guests in wheelchairs. A very small and personal feel to the restaurant, food prices are incredibly low (around £7 for a main meal) yet the quality is fantastic and the serving sizes are huge! I’ve been to this restaurant about 4 times now every time I’ve had to go up to London for a hospital appointment and I just have to say it’s some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. When my mum and I first were in London we stumbled apon this place and the atmosphere was so warm, cozy and inviting that it just made me like like I was in Italy. The staff were amazingly friendly and the food was the icing on the cake. It was fresh, tasty and beautifully cooked and it was cheap. It’s probably one of the cheapest restaurants in London and honestly, they deserved the extra tips we gave them because they made this experience amazing. My mum and I decided to come back again and again and every time the staff have remembered us and have always cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place for its amazing, mouthwatering food, cozy atmosphere and caring staff! If I could I would give this place more than 5 stars

Fantastic Friday Evening! Stumbled upon this beautiful small restaurant 2 years ago by chance as we'd decided to take a small walk. Wonderful friendly staff, the lady at the front was by far the friendliest we've encountered on trips to Central London. Whilst the restaurant is small it makes up for it with a lovely ambience. The food was out of this world and brought a sense of Italy right to our doorstep in London. Very authentic and ingredients were extremely fresh. I was still shocked to learn it is the only branch that Mio have, although don't be surprised to see a few more, with this standard of food. All in all a great evening!

The vegetarian pizza was quite nice and they served gluten free pasta for my colleague who is gluten intolerant. They were upfront about the gluten free pasta taking a little longer, because the chef has to handle it separately. Prices seem to be on the lower end for London.

Visited here for Christmas Lunch with work team. Classic farmhouse / Italian look, medium sized room but cosy instead of cramped (room tables laid out well). Staff very professional, had fish pizza which was excellent, large 24" but thin crust and cut so that you could eat it by a knife and fork or picking each of the pieces up. House wine also good. All in all recommended, definitely in the very good category of places to visit
