Reviews of Okko
Nice little Japanese fusion spot - way calmer than the other places along the road. Loved the vibe. We had chicken ramen and salmon tacos. They are nice but not extraordinary.
TLDR; a better alternative to Koyako down the road but the food is generally too salty. The ingredients used were good for sure but everything was just a little too intense to be enjoyable.
We had the chicken and pork ramen. Both were served with a thick broth, very similar to Bone Daddies in Soho. However a lot of the otherwise rich and subtle flavours were over powered by the saltiness.
It was a similar story with the “Korean” Fried Chicken which was more akin to a Japanese karage than KFC. Too salty to taste anything else.
It’s a small cozy restaurant and the staff were attentive so no star lost there.
I really like the tacos here, the ingredients are always fresh and it’s a great light snack. The few times I’ve gone to get them for takeout (maybe 4 times) the impression I get from the staff is always abrupt and unfriendly. As if I’m bothering them with ordering and waiting. And today we considered staying in to eat but the guy who took our order really didn’t care enough to tell us when there might be space, after asking for a table and being told it’s for two people (we were 3). Maybe you have to dine in to be treated properly.
Really lovely intimate spot on Broadway market. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
I had the edamame, the vegan gyoza, tomato + miso tacos + the vegan ramen.
The ramen was delicious and the gyoza was really good too! Lots of choice for VG + GF
Would recommend
Excellent in all aspects. Great service, generous portions of fish, lovely atmosphere and good cocktails. The ceviche-like tacos were outstanding. Very good value for money. Will definitely be going back!
The space is cozy and intimate, the service is great (staff was very sweet!), and the food was good enough (though I can’t say it’s the best ramen I’ve ever had).
amazingly delicious ramen! fantastic atmosphere and a lovely service. don't miss this place when you're around
First time in a Japanese restaurant and absolutely loved it! Great food and even better staff made it a very enjoyable experience. I will DEFINITELY go here again! 😁
Delicious 😋 fast service, vegan choices, cosy little place
Amazing food and very nice experience in this small restaurant. The staff was kind and helpful, food was great, while prices are ok for what you get, I wouldn’t say cheap but is a good deal. We had sushi, few starters, ramen and gyoza.. enjoy them😄
Definitely recommended and I will definitely go back:)
My favorite place to eat on Broadway Market. Attentive and friendly staff, generous portion sizes for mains, and loads of vegan / GF options. The food arrives quickly and is delicious - ramen broth is amazing and the rolls are without fault. Cozy spot that has a great buzzy atmosphere!
Tried out this great Japanese fusion place and got hooked, have become somewhat of a regular!
Food is absolutely top notch, both meat, fish and vegan (I'm vegan, my partner eats meat). Apparently the sashimi is superb (from a real lover of sushi), and I can attest that the vegan rolls are awesome (more creative than the usual, but in a way that is not ridiculous).
Lots of specials that are regularly changed too.
The staff and service is awesome too.
Highly recommended.
Very delicious food — absolutely adore the special sushi rolls, and delighted they have gluten-free ramen as well.
I use to coming here often and it’s always so good , good vibes and good quality /food ratio, Niko the waiter is always so nice and try to accommodate in any occasion. Absolutely spotless ! X
Worth a visit! Right in the market depending when you visit in the week.
The restaurant is small, some may find it a little tight but not to the point where moving around make you conscious of hitting someone.
Staff is very helpful and welcoming. The menu has great variety, I didn't find the ramen to be the best choice but the poke was brilliant. On a typical visit you may spend about £15-£20 per head which is fair for the quality.
Overall it is worth a visit, the only draw back is the spacing.
Really reasonable pricing, simple, quick and attentive service, incredible and well presented food and it's a lovely well furnished spot! Will be coming back a lot :)
Food was delicious and the service was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have a booking but they accommodated us. Would recommend the double curry fries
Everything we ordered was delicious!
Great quality and tasty food, friendly and quick service. Slightly more pricey than others, but definitely worth it.
Okko delivers outstanding food. The tuna sashimi, kingfish nigiri, deep fried squid, sea weed & pickles a taste sensation. Oh & the prawn, avocado & eel roll delicious. Thanks Okko team
Great food but a bit small portions. We did take away. £62 /4ppl (no drinks).
Really great Japanese restaurant. Possibly the best sushi I've ever had. The katsu prawn was amazing.
Monday night I had dinner there and it was fantastic, very good quality food. my girlfriend and I felt great. The kfc was the part that I liked the most, the smokyking roll instead took my girlfriend and she was fascinated, and the vegan gyoza very tasty, to revisit absolutely . Thanck you Okko
Such a great spot. Sashimi is some of the best I've had in London and I love their chicken broth
Really great sushi and ramen. Small cozy place. Very friendly staff.
I love Japanese food and I tried today for the first time Okko in fancy Broadway Market and it was delicious. The ramen, the kimchee and the spicy things everything was super well done. They were super helpful. They even helped to keep my bicycle in a safe place. Super recommended
Absolutely spectacular food, we tried as much as we could manage and everything was amazing. Props to the chefs and the front of house staff for working their socks off on a busy bank holiday Monday. As I said, great food, excellent service and a generally brilliant experience. Thanks so much everyone!
This is the only place that I've ever been able to get gluten free ramen! There are two GF noodle options on the menu, spiralized courgette or
konjac. Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly and accommodating staff. This is a great place for anyone who has gluten sensitivities or a nut allergy!
Excellent sashimi! Vegan gyozas were really tasty. We also ordered the pistachio ice cream which is locally produced around the corner and that was truly creamy and delicious.
Super cosy place, cutely decked out with kimonos on the wall and projections of sumo wrestling. Staff were very accommodating and kind. A great dinner spot.
Amazing takeaway experience. We went for the off beat items on the menu and they did not disappoint. The highlights for us were the Red Devil rolls, the Salmon Katsu and the kimchi! Can not stress enough how good the kimchi was. Items were packed neatly. The chilli margarita packs quite a punch. Looking forward to trying out other things from their menu.
Had a very good takeaway this evening. It was all delicious but the Vegan Crunchy Roll was outstanding (we’re not vegan or vegetarian). We didn’t think we’d be able to eat it all, but we did. Well done, Okko
Nice - bloody good ramen + owner was a cool surfer bloke from Byron
Amazing sushi and service. All round brilliant experience
I think this is the nicest sushi I’ve ever had! Definitely up there with Roka. The soft crab rolls are amazing!!
Our favourite place to go in Broadway market. Staff always welcoming and the food is very fresh and amazingly tasty.
Tonight we ordered chicken Katsu curry, tempura broccoli, prawn dumpling & korean chicken, all were delicious , thanks : )
Insanely good food, great cocktails, lovely people.
We've eaten in here before & always enjoyed it, but just wanted to review their excellent delivery as well. It's hard to keep things crispy & fresh for delivery, but these guys did it beautifully. Highly recommended - we'll order again!
I really like this place. We go on Sundays often and sometimes the staff are busy or distracted but mostly they are nice and helpful. The food is tasty and they have a good meal deal which makes it worth it.
Ordered two sets of sushi, very average quality, especially the one with the crab meat. My friend ordered ramen and was deeply disappointed at the quality as well, simple things such as saying on the menu that ramen will be served with gyoza and then bring it with a meatball (ramen with a meatballs wow) and to top everything ice cream is the only desert and it is served in the plastic tubes, just don't bother serving desserts at all if you have nothing authentic or your own made just looked really pathetic to get that small tube of supermarket style ice cream at the restaurant. Anyways, I have been to Okko number of times last year for my sushis and they were waaay better, felt embarrassed to brag about this place and bring there a friend to 'show' her best sushi in East. Disappointing, most certainty lost its quality while pice does not reflect the service
Amazing foods/cocktails ,friendly waiters with amazing service and we had such an amazing night!! Will definitely come back again ! Highly recommended ;)
The service and ambiance here is nice but the food was a little disappointing. We ordered prawn gyozas but there were none (or veg) so we had pork balls instead, which were nice but came out cold (maybe that's how they're meant to be served). My chicken ramen had good chicken but - as someone else mentioned - it was very salty and overly rich and I was unable to finish it. My friend had the KFC curry which was good. We also had plum wine spritzers which I recommend. All in all the starter, meals and drinks for two people was £44 including service charge which was about right.
I think the staff was very friendly and the service is ok but the food is not for me. It is probably good for fusion lovers so don’t expect traditional sushi experience cause there is none. I do recommend the starter tofu, also cooked code from main dish went well with some sticky rice - I would not bother with rolls and tacos. Some of the side dishes are also ok.
The food and its presentation was exquisite, as was the service. The staff were attentive and made fantastic suggestions. The broad menu was very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the ingredients present in the food.
We cannot wait to go back! Cannot recommend Okko enough.
My first time visiting and absolutely loved it. The food is amazing but the service was even better. Especially the server, Ariel, was impeccable and so friendly. He was so accommodating and nothing was too much to ask from him. As a Japanese food lover, I can't recommend this place enough!! I'll be back very soon.
Stopped in here on a whim, and have to say it was one of the most unexpected culinary delights we've had recently.
Excellent food! Superb. We loved every single dish we had, a we sampled a lot of them - can't remember the last time this happened. The staff were friendly, and cocktails delicious.
Just go.
Lovely meal with lots of vegan options!
Excellent ramen with the best homemade noodles in the area. The sushi seemed a little overpriced (up to £17 a serving of 8 pieces) but they sure seemed of excellent quality. Ramen are more than reasonably priced though, £11 for a serving! The place is packed in the evening, come in early or you’ll have to wait a good 20 to 30 minutes before being seated.
The sushi is very good 👍the staff also very friendly 🤙✌️✌️✌️
I love the sushi here! I've only ever gotten takeout, but have found all of the rolls very very delish! I'm excited to eat in once all of this craziness has passed. Stay strong Okko! I'll continue to order takeout as long as you're open :-)
Brilliant food very highest quality gyoza and ramen excellent
The vegan gyozo here tastes divine! It's filled to the brim with spinach, ginger, edamame, garlic and beansprouts. I never knew gyoza could be so good!
Our fave Japanese in East London! Always such a pleasure, chilli margaritas are wonderful, the shredder role is great. The owner is always helpful, seaweed is delicious, spicy edamame not to be missed!
just had some amazing dinner at Okko tonight!! We had been meaning to go here for a while and finally went tonight. Food was amazing everything was delicious and we were spoiled for choice on the menu! Drinks were great had some amazing cocktails and some smashing sake after our meals. The staff were helpful and generous and the atmosphere was really relaxing. Loved eating there and would definitely go again.
Very good ramen and lovely staff. I would recommend this place
Small and cozy restaurant with great food my favourite being chicken kastu. Quick and friendly service always coming back
Not up to Japanese standards. This place is overpriced for what it is: very average Japanese-ish food. The sushi was bland, the poke was stodgy, the tempura was heavy on the batter. The gyoza were OK, but overall everything was a bit salty and didn’t get the important balance of flavours right for Japanese food: no subtlety.
We enjoyed a nice lunch here, lots of fresh and diverse ingredients. Can recommend the vegan ramen. Seemed weirdly empty and less popular than the other Broadway Market options, but not obvious why. Good spot to sit outside when it's warm.
Lovely little place with good, friendly service and some tasty dishes. Miso soup is definitely a cut above most Japanese restaurants. A little on the expensive side for what you get so go for the lunch menu especially, as it's quite good value - the poke bowls are great! Best place to go Japanese in the area, though there is not much competition. Deserves a higher rating on Google.
Somehow continues to be the most under-rated restaurant on Broadway Market judging by how busy some middle of the road places are compared to here. Great fresh sushi and sashimi, a menu that has expanded over the years but not out of control. Always lots of interesting specials on the blackboard. Vegan options in abundance. I live nearby and its my go-to for eating out. Love this place!
Okko was absolutely lovely. The service was really attentive and the food must be the best Japanese in East London. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a chilled dinner or a cute date night. Reasonably priced too!
Lively, relaxed and hipster Japanese restaurant in Broadway market was a pleasant surprise.
The street is like a hub of young crowd enjoying the weekend sunshine after the mayhem of weekend market. We wanted to have some simple food to fill up our stomachs after chilling out with a few drink nearby pub.
Japanese food wasn’t exactly we were thinking at first, but we could see people there casually posed with food and drink with beautiful daylight warmth. We liked that.
Food was fresh and delightful in fact. And some menu were creative and looked beautiful. I recommend tuna, avocado tataki. Also staffs were very helpful and accommodating, and mostly we didn’t need to break the bank like some of Japanese places. It was affordable between friends.
It can be my regular spot in east London.
Highly recommend.
Very cool place.. Fills up pretty quick on a Saturday given that the market is open.
My first time here and it won't be the last. I had a great super salmon poke (priced under £10) with my choice of brown rice and it was lovely, the mushroom broth ramen of the lady next to me also smelled delicious. Why was mine so good? A delicate balance of clean flavours and textures where every mouthful tasted a little different (perfect!). I had a gin fizz martini, no complaints..I had two and finished with white miso ice cream (think malted milk meets salted caramel). What a great experience..friendly owner in situ too..wishing this place every success!
average.. Japanese/asian fusion food with latin music in the background.
The food was ok (although the portions were quite small), and some things were actually quite surprisingly great (miso soup, pork gyoza) however we the service made it all wrong with our waiter forgetting our cocktails (we were starting our second meal when we got them), and that even asks us at some point "Are you expecting anything else?" - not the best impression, especially considering the high number of waiters for the size of the restaurant.
Won't go back
I fully recommend this place to everyone. It was my first time today and I want to come back already. Everything super fresh and done from scratch, super delicious. The place is super humble and the staff is👌🏻 in other words 10 stars. I'm reeeeealy pleased. A big thank you for your existence, and a big OBRIGADO too :) 🤙🏾
Stopped her on hot Easter weekend hoping for fresh and tasty food. We were not disappointed small cosy location and delicious food the KFC is wonderful and was the poor bowl. Great range for everyone's needs with daily specials and drinks to boot! Gets busy so arrive early or book.
Nice Japanese restaurant in the middle of Broadway market, the food is awesome (had salmon poke the other day, delicious) . It's a little small, but service is great even we were waiting a little for the food. This place is always a safe choice for Japanise food.
The korean fried chicken (KFC) is to die for.
awesome. menu changes occasionally so always something new to try. the sushi is fantastic. the korea fried chicken is a game changer. some great fresh salady type plates too. cocktails REALLY great. quite small, but usually able to find a table. they've got one big table for like 8-10 poeple which is great. love this place
Not sure how authentic this Japanese place is but it's still good. Small and quaint little restaurant. Fast service and polite. The service could be a bit friendlier. Not really wowed by their menu but it's a good option if you live in the neighbourhood and want a healthy bite to eat.
Dont be shy, chat to the staff, relax, have a chilli margherita and enjoy your meal!✌🏾
Very nice sushi place with a great set lunch menu!
The best ramen I’ve had in London, and believe me, I’ve searched. Perfect noodles. Also excellent sushi. Just a delicious meal.
Very elegant and convenient place. They serve big meals and for fair rates. We loved the menu very much and the staff were super welcoming and chatty. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Fast and efficient service. Enormous, well-seasoned, quality portions of Ramen. Delicious tempura prawns and green vegetables. Loads of ginger. Perfect little spot for some well made classic Japanese food.
Little tacos are amazing. Great place for a drink and a snack.
Everyone is kind, helpful and friendly. Great sushi and plum wine is a must try.
Without a doubt my favourite restaurant in Hackney. Absolutely rocking fish tacos and a frequently changing specials board that never disappoints. I would strongly recommend Okko to anyone in the area seeking delicious Japanese cuisine
Food is delicious - one of my favourite places to go! Love the vibe here and service is fantastic. Will definitely be back for more.
It's brilliant to finally have a good Japanese restaurant in the area. I've been living around East London for ages and every time I want a good Japanese I have to into town. Okko serves brilliant selection of simple menu with sushi, sashimi salad, tempura and ramen. The food is brilliant and the service is superb. Recommend.
the OKKO is a very cosy restaurant, we had a great dinner!! I highly recommend the salmon poke and the gyozas. They were really tasty!!! The staff were very kind and thoughtful.
I will be coming back, for sure!!
Decent ramen and tasty sushi. Our sever was really hospitable, a lovely Aussie guy who made it 5 stars in his own right.
We've been local’s in the area for years now. We see so many restaurants come & go but it's nice to see this doing well, plus its nice to finally have a Japanese in Broadway Market.
We eat out so regularly and so often when we'd like to go for Japanese you get such basic, common boring food. They're usually like an independent yo sushi (without the conveyor belt!), it's refreshing to be served a slight variance on these. Its not Heston Blumenthal, snail porridge different! It's just well presented & tasty. The sashimi for example tasted really fresh and the naked gyoza are a great take on a classic idea. Even the Lychee cocktail was great, if a bit small.
Staff are pretty friendly & relaxed. It's small so we had to wait for a table but that’s just testament to how good the food is. Decor was simple, but looked a bit raw. I guess that’s in keeping with the area.
Will definitely be heading back though :)
Very tasty food. Chilli Margarita cocktail is intriguing - give it a try. Don't miss the Hackney gelato.
Last night we had the most lovely time at OKKO! Our waiter was really thoughtful, food was excellently cooked and presented, and the dim lights created an intimate atmosphere.
Can’t wait to come back! Thanks guys!
It was the most delicious and pleasant restaurant! !!
I definitely recommend it and I definitely want to go next
Deliciously food, had the tuna poke, my only gripe was that the takeaway portions were bit too small to be satisfying.
Fantastic atmosphere, their windows are of top quality, no drafts were felt as I enjoyed the amazing food that Kieran and his team produce. If you want an authentic Japanese meal then look no further than Okko resto
Ordered the Chicken broth ramen, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive which is way too long, ramen is fast food after all.
Besides the noodle is soggy and the broth is kimchi flavour which isn't what I expected for.
Cosy Japanese restaurant with few tables and top service. All rolls are delicious and so fresh! You can really taste the quality of the product. Haven't tried the rest but will be back soon :)
My boyfriend and I had dinner at Okko last night. The sushi was delicious and fresh. We had Okko roll(Amazing!!!!!) and Ebi Furai also good ,as well as the sashimi plate and my boyfriend had beef tataki. We really enjoyed our dinner here and definitetly recommend.Great to have this place in the area
First time on Broadway Market as my son and his girlfriend have recently moved to London Fields.
OKKO has a great vibe and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was excellent (especially the naked pork Gyoza and the Katsu chicken) and we can’t wait to go back!
We were a bit worried because the rating wasn’t great, but were super surprised and happy with the delicious food! They also let us have our doggie in which is a big bonus! Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended!
Proper little gem! Amazing food - most like the Californian sushi I love - the flavours are incredible!
Are you koddddding meeeeeee?!!!!! Bloke waiter was a babe
Great clean and healthy dishes. The produce felt like it was well chosen and made the meal really tasty. Had the super salmon Poke
Great sushi, love the location and atmosphere was rocking. I loved the sushi especially the salmon sashimi which was fresh and beautifully presented. The fish tacos made of seabass were made to perfection. would definiens recommend visiting this place.
This restaurant offers superb service and enjoyable meals. The best restaurant in the area. The food served fast and the prices are fair. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Had a delicious dinner, first time for several different tastes for me and it didn't disappoint! fresh food, friendly staff, good atmosphere, thanks Kieran for an amazing Japanese experience in London from an Aussie
I have lived near Broadway Market for 20 years and watched new restaurants comer and go. Visiting Okko was a real pleasure, stunning food and great staff especially our barman, Antonio. The Wasabi themed cocktail with Prosecco was a brilliant delight and our main of Beef Tataki with Naked 'Pork' Gyoza on the side was suburb.
Brilliant food, location and staff - go enjoy!
Wow !! It was delicious 🥰 I strongly recommend spicy tuna tacos, tempura broccoli and Smokey king crab roll was out of this world 🙌🏽
Specials are really tasty. Go for obscure options rather than your typical California roll.
Naked Gyoza + Japanese Garden drink highly recommend!
Intimate Japanese restaurant with a surfer shack style. Communal table on one side (or seats a group of 8) and tables of 2 along the other side. Staff were a little confused when we used the group table as a communal table in 3 separate groups of 2 on a busy Friday night so food and drink got a little muddled but was of good quality. Tried a salmon set from the specials which was delicious and had a type of nigiri which had been blow torched and had a herby dressing, something a little different! Will return soon but on a weeknight when less busy.
I had 6 dishes here, nothing tastes fresh and watching staff run in and out of the shop next door for kitchen ingredients gives more of a grotty feel than local. I would return here for the drinks or the good service but definitely not the food.
Grumblings about the staff are accurate, but not for lack of trying. The place is rather small and a small wait staff works hard to keep up. Had a very good meal and enjoyed an episode of Pokemon showed on the projector.
Super tasty, great atmosphere, friendly staff. The white wine wasn't cold, but everything else was so good it still deserves 5 stars!
Delicious Chicken ramen!!! Highly recommended! Friendly staff! Thank you guys!
We're spoiled for choice in this part of East London but this is one of my favourite neighbourhood restaurants any day of the week, any season - equally perfect for sushi platters with a group of friends, catching up one-to-one over a few sharing plates (prawn gyoza and fish tacos are the best) or dropping in by myself for a quick ramen. On sunny days grab a window seat or outside table and do some people-watching - on chilly days it's nice and cosy inside and a warm sake goes down nicely. Also love the beautiful vintage silk kimonos hung on the walls and available for sale.
A little overpriced but I like it! Wish they had more tuna options but again - that is a personal preference. would definitely come here for a date night!
We got takeaway from here- so delicious. Proper Japanese food. It’s a little pricey but worth it.
Had a awesome experience in this spot with my kid. The food was served rapidly and the service is just great. Prices are reasonable.
I love this place and dont understand some of the bad reviews as I eat here pretty regularly and have always had brilliant food and solid service. Personally, I much prefer it to the Japanese in Hoxton under the arches (which some people have said is better) - great location too.
Incredible salmon poke & katsu curry! Aaaaaand delicious black cod & pork things! The tastiest Japanese I’ve ever had, easy. Thank you!
Good choice of dishes. I have been there many times and I always enjoyed it. Food is good, fresh, healthy, and the service is very good. They have a small terrace.
Food is great, good to dine in. Takeaway takes ages.
Great sushi and friendly staff
One of the nicest sushi places Ive been to. Really fresh every time and a refreshing bite. The staff are amazing!
Exciting menu with depth. Super fresh and attentive, prompt service.
I wanna try everything on the menu, plus the specials board is ferocious. (Milly and Katie)
Great for lunch break if you work in the area or your friends do, kinda difficult to book a table but we walked in and were sat immediately. Good set menu / price
Great selection and the best Sushi I ever tried.
Great dishes and friendly staff
Excellent ramen
Amazing tacos too
Fantastic food. Staff did not consistently provide correct allergen info on the deserts though so be careful when ordering.
I ordered their sushi and poke bowls online. It was so lovely!
Quick delivery!
So good. Food is so fresh and all the broths are hearty and full of umami flavour!
Negative reviewers don’t know what they’re talking about!
Delicious and a very cute place to eat. Polite staff who accommodated a request I had for the food (to have vegetable gyoza in a meal instead)
Very enjoyable experience, the squid starter was nice and the salmon salad was very delicious and healthy, our daughter enjoyed the pistachio ice cream too, would recommend this place the staff were friendly and the service was good too.
Avocado and crab tempura to die for! Unsurprisingly hipster staff given the area, but truly excellent sushi, particularly given Hackney is a bit of a Japanese restaurant desert.
Ramen was pretty good but not enough options although it isn't a ramen place so it's fair i suppose but still wouldn't have minded an option that wasn't pork or tofu, still though very nice
Enjoyed the food and the people-watching.
Very nice place and a really cool staff.
The dishes looked very good, especially the dumplings, which were suuuuper good.
the place is awesome , but now they are renewing the dinings so I suppose soon it will open 😺!
Friendly staff, the food was delicious especially the salmon tacos & agedashi Tofu !!
Great sushi, friendly service. Take your time, get the window seats and watch the world go by.
Wasn't bad but to expensive
The nicest place we ate in London!!! !!! 👍😍
Great food and intimate atmosphere, and not too expensive
Very tasty food and friendly staff. The restaurant is local to me and I consider myself a regular customer. :)
Nice little spot but the blandest vegan ramen i've ever had, very disappointing, really need to work on it.
It was great that they have gluten free options for most things. However, the food was quite heavily seasoned with MSG.
One of my preferred spots to grab something to eat. fantastic location, clean, and good customer service. Very good job!
Good food with a nice array of vegetarian/vegan options. Good range of specials, so always worth a visit!
Amazing service, the beef tataki was brilliant! The chicken was also brilliant as well as the sushi! Along with a lychee martini an amazing experience!
It’s the 2nd time I have been here & I have to say the food was simply delicious - we asked to have a surprise menu for £30 each & were not disappointed 👌🏽
Delicious food and wonderful service. Such a good atmosphere! Highly recommend
Love this place - cool vibe and super quirky! Great fish tacos and awesome rolls. Highly recommended!!
Delicious ramen, with lots of options!
The waitress was lovely but excused the slow service by saying she was the only waitress. Which meant no cocktails, late coffee and complicated bill paying. Food was nice though.
Food was tasty, but they forgot about us, and our food wasn't served for about an hour. Wait-staff were very friendly, otherwise.
Amazing food, really well presented. One of my favourite restaurants. Also, lovely service.
Had the tofu/mushroom ramen, delicious, really warming and wholesome, lots of noodles, mushrooms and seaweed. Very happy
Great food, friendly staff.
The food was amazing. Their gyozas were soo good and so were the lychee martinis. Fantastic service as always
I love this place, and eat here very regularly, the sushi is amazing, the veg ramen and lovely staff !!!
Best Vegetarian Ramen I have had
Great place!! Friendly and fantastic pork Gyoza. Get that dish. Definitely.
Incredible food every time. Funny, no nonsense staff. Something to fit all prices and occasions. Amazing.
My favorite Japanese restaurant East London. Not pretentious, delicious, great road and lovely staff!
Good for a quick Japanese lunch
Perfect Japanese comfort food. Even as a vegetarian I’m not getting tired of this place.
Very nice food and people. Cosy place and really japonese style. Recommended 100%
Good food, good people, good beer. Like it. Some dishes heavy, some light, some good to fill you up, and some great for flavours. Thanks
Delicious Tofu Ramen with an excelent service. I have been 3 times and im coming back definitely!!
Original Japanese cookery are so nice ,
I like miso soup and Japanese Ale.
Really good place! Delicious food and reasonable portions sizes, Katsu on point!
The staff are beyond inattentive, and the food is underwhelming. Miles away from authentic Japanese food.
Vegan dumplings were fantastic.
Food was delicious (fried chicken and the salmon), great spot sitting in the window watching the crowds, but the service, though friendly, was slow and erratic.
Super tasty ramen
Food is super tasty!! Fresh fish and original flavours.
Potentially the best Gyozas in town... meal servings are large and the location is lovely

Really good sushi rolls, super flavourful
(Translated) Well ... went there full of expectation, because friend's recommendation. It's OK. Ramen from miso good, from chicken unfortunately only ok because of poor taste and with too little salt. Speedometers good, sushi is well. All in all just ok.

Naja... voller Erwartung hin gegangen, weil Empfehlung von Freund. Ist ok. Ramen von miso gut, von Hühnchen leider nur ok weil recht geschmacksarm und mit zu wenig Salz. Tachos gut, Sushi such naja. Alles in allem gerade mal ok.
