Very good pizza Margherita, good crust on the outside, chewy inside. Simple but delicious, truffle infused oil to add is great as well. Garlic bread is very tasty too. The tiramisu desert to share is a great conclusion to the dinner. Recommended !

Incredible pizzeria serving some of the softest, tastiest pizzas I've had in a long time. Vegan options are also very good. Not a single thing tasted less than amazing - the olives, the mac and cheese balls, the pizzas, and so on. Jealous of those who are local as if I could I'd be here very often!

Loved the pizza and they managed to sneak us in on short notice which was much appreciated! Really quick service. Only criticism is that the music is very loud - a few people sat near us then asked to be moved because it was too loud to hear one another. Would definitely go back though! 🍕

Delicious pizza, friendly staff and speedy service. Got my pizza in no time. Server Carmen took time to double check my order and make sure everything okay. The truffle and mushroom pizza was lovely, with melt in the mouth cheese and soft base. Really nice wine to go with food. Will definitely be back.

Got an 8 cheese pizza and got exactly that with sweet chilli. Absolutely brilliant food and service. Was ready, from dough to service in just under 5 minutes. Made in proper pizza ovens too. Spot on 👍

The food was excellent…once you’re able to order it. Sat downstairs with a group of 8 but it was our responsibility to ask for the menu, and the to ask for the order to be taken and then to ask for cutlery. Food and drink were delicious. They were really helpful getting us a table for 8. One of our party was exceptionally slow, but they were very patient.

The 8 cheese pizza is one of the best pizzas I have eaten. Nice creamy buratta in the middle, gorgonzola is just the right amount and the chilli jam is a perfect accompaniment

Absolutely fantastic 8 cheese pizza. A good amount of cheese topped with sweet chilli jam that set off the flavours perfectly. Worked well with the pesto dip. Will definitely be back!

Lovely pizza and good atmosphere. Our waiter, Simone, was wonderfully helpful and chatty. The buffalo margarita pizza was a bit overly-salted for my taste but otherwise a fab experience in bustling Shoreditch.

4 of us had a meal here on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Shortly upon entering we were shown to our table underground. Food was very tasty and service was fast. The Salami Pizza & Macaroni Cheese ball bites were particularly good! They also have a screen downstairs which showcases a "live chef's view" so you can watch your food being made! The experience was great and made so by our waiter Simone! Thanks again and we look forward to visiting soon!

My friend and I went to this amazing Pizza place yesterday. Had super delicious food and loved the whole ambiente and service. Our wonderful waitress Giovanna helped us with the food decisions. She was always friendly and professional. We had a great time thanks to her. She is very efficient and that restaurant is lucky to have someone like her. We will be back and hope to sit at her station again. Highly recommended!

Staff are lovely and it’s cute inside but the pizzas aren’t great. The vegan margherita had a pathetic amount of cheese which made it an expensive piece of saucy bread. It’s great they have vegan options but please make them worth it!

One of the nicest garlic bread I've ever had. We were waiting for a place to open so we just wanted drinks, but we ordered some garlic bread too. All went well until I saw the staff looking at us and I immediately noticed how they were contemplating their plan for us to leave since we weren't ordering much anyways and there were other people waiting. We ordered some garlic bread again and they packed it up and gave us the bill while we didn't ask for that at all. So rude! My friend told the waitress that we wanted our garlic bread in plates just like she served us at the beginning. After we left we came back later and ordered 4 pizzas.

I was there few days ago with my family, Carmen was our waitress, she is amazing! she made sure we were well looked after, she was attentive, friendly, and always smiling. Really good pizza and service. Friendly and authentic atmosphere, definitely worth visiting the restaurant. However I have to change my review as recent experience with Deliveroo was not great, cold pizza, really joke size salad. Rocket retail price is about £1.5 for a huge pack, I pay £5 for a few tiny slices of cheese and a disparagingly small portion of salad. This is just ridiculous. In the menu photo I can see 4 cheese balls in a standard portion, I've got 3, what was it? Seems like the prices went up since my last visit, so I would not recommend to think that the customers are idiots. The place is obviously getting worse.

The place is small and they had to many tables. You ends up to be to close with other people and expecially downstairs where there isn't a very good ventilation is not very good. The toilets were a bit dirty. The service was very nice and the people working in there are smiling and friendly but we waited to long for the drinks. The pizza is not my favourite ( napoletana style - very high and chewie) but this is a personal preference. The ingredients were very fresh and the taste good but the menu wasn't the best I saw ( the fact that you can mix and match the flavours that you want with little choice for the already made it makes the waiting longer and easier to make mistake).

Came with a friend and was straight as we got in we were received with a smile. We sat down and settled down, made our choice of food, and suddenly this friendly and very nice waiter was next to us, speaking our language and making recommendations of wine. Lionel was the best waiter I've seen in a long time. He was friendly, polite, funny and always attentive to every detail.

Good Pizza. Decent drinks. Reasonable prices (a bonus in Shoreditch). Fitted us in (unreserved) between bookings. Music went a bit too loud/EDM at times (yeah I know it's Shoreditch but it was quite early evening) but sort of balanced out. Use the Soho branch too and it's always good.

I could feel the genuine Italian atmosphere from miles away... The variety of pizzas offered might not be that broad but the menu is extremely genuine- I loved how quality has been prioritsed over quantity. Awesome pizzeria, great location. Dual level seating, basement is air conned, very private feeling, but lively enough without encroaching on personal space (can still have good chat amongst selves and hear) ground level is busy with lots to see through the windows, as on the main street of Shoreditch. Great for groups of 2s n 4s. Very traditional menu with great variety! All the sides and sauces, i opted for the classic cheeses!

Nice, clean and cozy restaurant with fine selection of own made pizzas. Delicious, crispy dough, original and great quality toppings. One of best pizzas I have every had. Very friendly service, entire place is usually overrun by people, that is usually the best recommendation. You must be ready for a little noise, but it's just the spirit of that place, like a small italian family kitchen. Strongly recommended :)

I used to love Pizza Pilgrims, until I went to the Shoreditch one. Overall staff were polite and quick and pizza is tasty, but they couldn’t give me half of the pizza, as it’s only for kids and told me they can give me a box afterwards, also I only wanted half pint of their draft beer and they couldn’t provide that either, they said they only do full! What if someone is driving and they can’t get a half or I don’t want to get a full pizza as I don’t want to eat that much and I’m with a men who can eat the whole pizza and I’m way smaller and I can’t? I was very not happy with this situation, as I was very excited going there. From now on I would definitely choose a different pizza place to go to.

Great pizza, potentially the best in London, certainly in the top 5. Limited choice of pizzas (I think around 7) but that's not a bad thing. The dough is excellent, the sauce fantastic, the toppings top notch. We didn't have to wait for seating but we were a bit early, so this might be different at other times. Service was good.

Really great pizza every time! Have only every visited this branch as I live locally but as someone who eats a lot of pizza I can highly recommend this place. The pizzas are always consistently good and the staff are always friendly, even though it's usually very busy and they have a lot to do. I was looking for the popular capricciosa one.They don't have prosciutto at all. The pepperoni pizza is amazing but skip the honey. The spicy Calabrian topping was a disappointment.It wasn't spicy and it would taste better with sausage or ham.It was without meat.The side salad was tiny and nothing special. The shredded mozzarella was so blunt. I couldn't even finish it because we had no salt or pepper on the table. Awful. But from the pizza you won't get disappointed. I will go back to eat a pizza but i will choose my own toppings and i won't order any awful side dishes.

As we live closeby, we always pass by the window of the pizzeria and look at the delicious pizzas so we finally decided to give it a try! We are both Italian so our expectations about the pizzas are usually very high!! We were not disappointed. Pizza was fantastic, but even more than the pizza we loved the service! Our waiter, Pasquale, took very good care of us. You can tell he works hard and is passionate about costumer satisfaction. We waited a little too long for our pizzas to come out but we did not complain. However, Pasquale noticed and went above and beyond to make up for it. We will definitely come back! :)

This cosy little Italian pizzeria has everything you could want from a shore-ditch based pizza joint, pop culture posters and a mini games basement included . The menu is fairly simple and to be frank I found slightly limiting however the amazing fresh taste of pizza and the quality of the ingredients used makes up for the small selection, these guys definitely know they are doing, the salads may I also note are small but to die for. The service was fast and attentive, the two waitors running up and down the place took their jobs and their customers satisfaction seriously, what more could you ask for in terms of service? All in all will definitely be taking my friends and family here for years to come great job pizza pilgrims.

We asked our waiter about the very popular ‘calzonification’ that is being advertised absolutely all over social media, we had bought our own chocolate bars as instructed to do so by the restaurants website but apparently it was unavailable for a reason he could mysteriously not share with us. After finishing our meal we asked a waitress for the bill yet were left to wait 30 minutes until we had to just get up and track down a waiter so we could pay and finally leave. I would probably go to a different branch of Pizza Pimgrims in future since as I said before the food is of good quality.

I think Pizza Pilgrims is maybe the best pizza in London. I prefer it to Franco Manca's. This one is very convenient if you're shopping in Shoreditch. The toilets are clean and it's well laid out, with lots of light if you're on the ground floor. They don't serve alcohol but if you pay £2.50 you can bring your own. Unfortunately not all the staff are very diligent.

I'm afraid I have to downgrade to 3 stars. You can recognise a good pizza from the crust (in crust we trust). When the inside of the crust is not leavened properly you will find it sticky and not well cooked. A good crust should be light, airy and easy to digest. Neapolitan pizza tends to be a bit gummy but today the pizza chef got it wrong. The mozzarella is worrying too. It now seems to be of the same bad quality of Franco Manca, once a good pizzeria but now just a cheap low quality ingredients pizza chain (they were bought by Fulham Shore recently). Try Da Michele, Santa Maria or Bravi Ragazzi to experience authentic pizza with quality ingredients. It seems that this pizzeria has taken a turn towards higher profits and cheaper ingredients :(
