I loved my experience here. Cheap to the point you'll double take, the pizzas were thin and delicious. For only £5/6 you'll first thing it's the cost of a slice. It isn't. Friendly staff and a vibey atmosphere. I'll be coming back!

It was pouring outside, so this visit was a spontaneous one. First of all, the prices are so cheap (comparative to average eating out prices in London). Next, the pizza was actually nice. Bingo, well maintained price and quality ratio found. Finally, the vibes are just good in here: friendly service, no rushing you around after you're done eating, dynamic music yet doesn't feel like noisy. Highly recommended.

Honestly the pizza itself is probably about 4 stars but it's such exceptionally, un-Londonlike good value that it has to be 5 stars. In terms of the value per £ it's probably the best pizza place I've been to in London and I've been to a lot. Service was also friendly and quick, got my pizza made fresh in mere minutes at lunch. Will definitely be back again.

Throughly excellent pizza at prices which are close to being impossibly cheap. They’re constantly busy which I’m not surprised about but food is always swift, well cooked and very very tasty. The garlic dipping sauce for 50p is an absolute must, and the £3.50 frozen margaritas or raspberry mojitos are worth a go too lol. Tried a variety of things on the menu over the last week but my favourite has to have been the Formaggi pizza with extra pancetta, which for £6 is an absolute bargain.

Well I don't think I've had pizza this cheap in quite a while. Even the drinks are extremely wallet friendly. This seems like a local, neighborhood pizza spot, most likely for the university community. 3.50£ Frozen Margarita - Tequila, Lime, Rosemary: The drinks are mild, and very light on alcohol, but it's not bad for 3.50! Frozen margaritas are always nice and refreshing. I don't think the rosemary added anything, just acted as a prickly garnish. 3.95£ Margherita - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil & 5.95£ - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, double pepperoni: Straight out of their fiery oven are cracker-thin, super-crunchy pizzas (Roman style). The pepperoni are the kind that are baked until they form concave shapes, and little pools of oil form. Parts of the pizza were a little too hard. Pizzas were not bad, but there was not much to them. If I was a local in the area, I would probably visit Pizza Union from time to time for an inexpensive, filling meal.

Staff were so friendly and even though it was all new to us we were made to feel at ease. Staff advised on pizza choises and explained a little about the place. Best pizza in central London. Pizzas are simple but that's the point - good ingredients and thin base, baked in wood fired oven. Honestly, does not get much better than that. Great selection of drinks (softs and boozy), ice cream, desserts, coffee. Staff is always friendly. It is a chain, but interior feels casual and relaxed.

Thin and crispy yet substantial crust, perfectly roasted toppings, and lighting fast service. I should also add they do wicked frozen margaritas for under £4 and they do not skimp on the tequila!

Wonderful pizzaria, great prices, nice dressings, even some cocktails. Right now it's a bit strange, due to the pandemic going on. Not everyone should enter at the same time, and it's only for take away. There's a beautiful square very close to it, by the Sainsburys, so you can buy your drinks also from there, and sit at the square - that's my hint. Margherita pizza for £4!!! Can't beat that price. Vegan option, that can be for milk intolerants.... Then you can ask to just use the vegan cheese and dough , and have your favourite toppings. Nearest station is Aldgate East, and it's one block away.

Quality/price it's fine, and they are fast. But the pizza bases are not handmaded and the ingredients are just correct. You can make similar pizzas at home. Go to Pizza East, for example, taste the difference of the base and the ingredients, and you will come back to pizza union only when you need some fast take away food. It's not bad, I bought one and was ok. 3 stars for me it's fair, because the service is nice but I can make better pizzas at home with much less money.

If in need of a fast cheap pizza then this is not a bad choice. Of course you can not expect to eat a proper pizza with only 5-6 pounds so quality is not really what you are looking for here. There are other “cheap-fast” pizza chains in London that make a better pizza but if you are hungry and nearby a Pizza Union store then enter order pay and 4 minutes later you’ll be eating. Dough is really mediocre, toppings are of better quality!

Incredible pizzas at low cost. Order one per person and it'll fill you up to just the right level. Staff behind the counter are friendly and efficient. They'll give you a wireless buzzer to let you know when your order is ready (usually within 7 minutes). Got taken here by my boss as it's just up the road from the office. It's modern and industrial-looking inside with plenty of seating both in and out. The service is very 'Nando's' style where you order at the counter from a large selection, take an electronic 'thingy' and find a seat - Your order then finds you somehow! It's got a nice beerhall kind of feel where you're sharing long benches and tables with other diners from suits to hipsters and everyone else in between. I reckon the place gets hammered every afternoon as we initially struggled to find a place to sit together but the turnover of tables is incredibly fast so you're not waiting long. Considering it's in a really busy part of the East End, close to Aldgate, the prices are really good at less than a tenner for a sit-down pizza meal, including a soft drink! The take-aways and other pizza chains should take serious notice of this place, they're doing it simpler, cheaper and far, far better!!!

This place is easily becoming my favourite place to grab a pizza. The sizes are generous enough. They have a wide range of pizzas to select and they are reasonable prices. Not like likes of dominoes that want to charge you £20 for the privelage of a big slab of grease. The restaurant has a good amount of space so you dont usually have to pre book. There is also outside seating should we get nice weather sometime soon! Only a 2 minute walk from Aldgate East station and also commercial road/whitechapel high street should you need to get anywhere afterwards. All in all a 5/5 from me.. nice thin pizza well cooked very quickly with an alert to the alarm given to you to say your pizza is ready.

Pizza Union is located on Lehman Street and a short stroll from either of the three surrounding tube stations (Tower Hill, Aldgate and Aldgate East) along with Tower Gateway. All pizza's come on a thin crust and are cooked in mere minutes which means... Your belly will be comfortably full before you know it!!! It's also worth noting that the Pizza menu is fairly broad and you can always add some additional toppings to up the flavours. What is also worth pointing out, it's cheap as chips and tastes great!!!

It's alright. The reasons I'm giving 3 stars is because quality and facilities. When it comes to quality the pizzas are ok. They are just a pre-baked thin dough, nothing special and they tend to be stingy with the cheese and sauce. On the other hand, I can't believe that having two toilets both of them are mixed. They should allocate one Gents and one Ladies. Gents toilets tend to get really messy and I know that women wouldn't appreciate having to use facilities like that. Overall, it is alright if you want a quick pizza and not spending much. But, it wouldn't be my first choice if I want something more elaborated.
