Reviews of Santoré
B. W.
Popped in here for an early dinner. Service was friendly.
I loved the selection available, but was disappointed with the "garlic pizza bread", I was expecting garlic bread, but it was literally a whole pizza base with a thick tomato and garlic sauce on top! All that was missing was cheese and it would have been an actual pizza! It was way too big to be a starter too, it would be enough for four people to share as a starter.
The sausage and broccoli pasta I ordered was absolutely divine though. Delicious and perfectly balanced. Again, a very large portion though.
Great price for how fresh and well made the food is, and for the enormous portions of course.
G. M.
Great and fast service and authentic Italian food. Been twice and always tried pasta. Cakes are amazing as well.
W. y. C.
Love this place and so glad to be able to have a bigger table than 6 again. Resturant was very accommodating with pee ordering and bringing in a lovely birthday desert at the end. On a nice day there's outdoor dining too, lunch menu is such good value and food is wonderful, really recommend. Staff were at tentative and very polite, thank you! 💛
P. B.
Santore is a great restaurant with a cozy ambiance and great food. My friend and I ordered their 1/2 meter pizza and it is so fun to share and eat. They have great vegetarian options. The service can be a bit slow but only because they are so popular. The staff are also very friendly.
A. F.
We went before a play and the place is great! The portions are huge and the food is delicious. No photos from our mains since we devoured them immediately!
The service is great too and they were very quick.
E.
First time here with friends from work and it was very nice! Plenty to choose from, pizza, pasta, fish etc. Reasonable prices as well for how much food you get. We went for the 1 metre of pizza for sharing with 4 different topping combos. I would visit again! Next time I think I'll try the risotto as that's another favourite of mine.
H. p.
Came here for lunch. Was amazing. I had the pappardelle ragu, which was delicious and the zucchini fries. The staff were super lovely and friendly. Great experience
L. M.
Amazing food and super friendly staff. Great location for a large group (we were 9). Food came so quickly and they accommodated us for a larger than expected group. The aubergine pasta is to die for. Thanks!!
C.
Amazing service, great food! 1 meter pizza sure is something
L. B.
Had the best vongole that I've ever had! Lovely meal pre ballet. Spaghetti Vongole is my favourite meal and when I saw it on the specials board I couldn't resist. It definitely didn't disappoint! Lovely light dessert after too.
L. M.
Went for a date, highly recommend the pizza 🍕 👌 lovely atmosphere!
K. O.
Delicious food, friendly service and great prices. Some of the best seafood I've had in this country and very generous portion sizes. Will definitely have to return.
s. f.
Being Italian I am ever so glad this fantastic restaurant exists in London. I've been twice and both times I felt like I was just at home.
Food is incredibly good. I've tried both their Pizza and their home dishes. Generous portions, cooked incredibly well and the ingredients taste so fresh and yummy. Some of their ingredients come straight from Italy.
If you are a fan of REAL Italian food go and you won't be disappointed. If you never tried Italian this your chance. Looking forward to my next visit. Yum!
S. M.
Love the Marinara Mussels! Whenever I go to Santoré, I get them! And love the lemoncello shots in the end if you're lucky to get them!
S. J.
Wonderful! Definitely go back there. Had the calves liver, which was lovely.
D. C.
We had an enjoyable meal here with friends on a Sunday afternoon. Most of us had the authentic Bufalina pizza and it was delicious. I had the tiramisu, which was also a joy to eat. The service was good, but one of our party was Italian! ;)
s. s.
I had an amazing experience tonight at Ristorante Santorè!! The welcome was amazing as the owner has found a table for us even without booking!!! Guys the food was just amazing!!!! An amazing neapolitan pizza and a great sea food meal!! Prices very good compared with the quality!!
S. F.
Amazing quality food, portion size is incredible and great value for money. Staff are super friendly and made me feel very special on my birthday! Will definitely be visiting again.
a. d.
A truly Italian experience. Plus most of the people in there are Italian. Great food, awesome service. Mussels out of this world. Don’t tell others tho, this is a gem. 🤞🏽
L. O.
A little slice of Italy. Located in the buzzy Exmouth Market, Santore has many tables spilling out onto the street. The pizza was delicious as was the pasta, we took some away as a doggy bag it was so filling. The house wine was reasonable and the staff friendly. The atmosphere feels like you're on holiday.
T. A.
The staff are friendly and helpful. I had the white pizza with sausage and mushrooms, the chocolate cake with pistachio icecream. There is outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the fresh air and the people of Exmouth Market.
P. B.
Santore is a landmark in London if you’re looking for a great Italian meal. It’s completely authentic, no pretentiousness & simply unbeatable for atmosphere.
A. C.
Nice place for good pasta and pizza. Spacious restaurant with friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
S.
Great place for a dinner. You can sit outside with heating lamps and it's warm enough. The service was superb and the overall atmosphere really chill. I would definitely recommend pizza, but the wine by glasses slightly overpriced and seems like simple house wine, probably it's better by bottles. Should be great place for lunch as well.
C. H.
I really enjoyed the calve liver I had there. The food was good portion and very tasty. However, they have limited options for gluten free. The onion ring that they put on top was not gluten free so I had to leave them aside in the end. The service was good too. We ended up having extra person, but they managed to fit all of us in. We will go back again for sure when we are near the area.
A. S.
Great food, service was good to begin with but took over 15mins and multiple reminders to get the bill, spoilt the experience a bit.
K. M.
One of my colleague ( who is from Italy) took me this restaurant and I would say this restaurant is superb in quality of the food served and also the quantity. Also Best pizza I have ever had over here. It was so delicious I wouldn't forget the taste for long time. Worth trying if you're searching for Italian food. 👌😋
S. R.
We're regulars for years. Tonight was hopefully a blip. Our starter contained paper. We told them and they did a new one. One main was missing one main ingredient. We couldn't bother so told them at the end. They wanted to offer is a liqueur at the end as an apology but we needed to leave.
B. P.
Authentic wood oven pizzas and great wine. Lovely al fresco dinning and atmosphere! Very good customer service.
F. L.
Amazing pizza. Really book a table and try it out. Picture speak for itself
S. C.
We had to wait quite a bit for our orders because the place was full, but it was worth. The food is delicious and the service good. Affordable prices.
C. P.
great restaurant, authentic food and generous portions. been going for many years, still enjoying it every time
P. K.
Excellent resturant, in particular the pizza is great! Very authentic dough in wood fired oven. Prices are very reasonable and they have offers and discounts for September and October! Enjoy.
A. A.
Pizza al metro is pure joy. You can choose 2+ flavours and share. High quality food, good prices, lovely staff. Authentic Italian. What are you waiting for?!
N. K.
I've only tried the Pizza but it was the best this side of Italy!
We will return
S. B.
I arrived a bit late, called ahead, of course, the team were great. They understood late there also meant time pressure for a show and expressed our order.
Food was excellent.
Thanks to the team, our evening was back on track!
A. D.
One of THE excellent restaurants of Islington, warm welcome, fully attentive service, authentic Italian food, and a deep desire to return and enjoy again, - and again. WELL DONE SANTORE!
H. M.
Nice pizza but we felt rushed and we were crammed into a small space, felt a bit like a factory and lots of rushing around.
R. O.
Amazing pasta selection and the meter long pizza is not only hilarious to look at but taste authentic and delicious! king prawn courgette pasta was the best out of all!
R. B.
Very friendly staff, the food was amazing, couldn't eat all of it. I had Salmon steak which just melted in my mouth. Very reasonably price for 4 people. Would recommend to my family and friends. Will definitely be going back.
S. F.
Really good Italian restaurant with huge menu choice
G. A.
Loved the place and the service! Try to go on less busy times. I highly recommend the seafood risotto and saving room for the delicious desserts. I'll be back with other friends, for sure.
V. H.
The food is great, and you receive it at the right time.
S. M.
Lovely pre ballet supper always delicious and helpful friendly staff highly recommended
H. B.
We really enjoy the food here. Out of everything my favourite has to be parmigiana melanzane. We try to go in the week, however, as it can be too noisy for us due to the acoustics.
V. C.
if only these pizzas could speak... one of the best in London that's for sure! Typical Italian pizza, amazing toppings, amazing dough. Strongly recommended
M.
Authentic Italian! The pizzas are amazing! We'll definitely visit again!
P. P.
Did not give us the attention to even seat ourselves. The pizza was good, the service wasn't
F. S.
Pizza a bit greasy but the chicken was really good. Good outdoor seating options and good service.
p.
Traditional Italian restaurant with great calzone pizza.
G. H.
It was our first weekend out after the ease of lockdown and we stumbled across this place. What a delight it was! Really excellent quality pizzas and lovely cosy outdoor heating especially on a cold night. Great service too. Thank you
D. W.
Excellent pizza! They do meter long if you have a few friends
O. O.
Fantastic food, well priced, good portion sizes and great service.
M. C.
Friendly staff, great food. If their pizza isn't the best in London, it must come pretty close.
S. P.
Generic Italian restaurant, with good pizza.
Look for the lunch menu and daily specials.
O. T.
Excellent food and service. Portions are very large as well, which is fantastic (but be aware)!
D. M.
Fabulous food , Great Price and Friendly service ..
J. R.
I had a really wicked time at this place. Double date with good friends to catch up and this place was the perfect setting. Service and staff were great although we were kept waiting at the start, but once we got their attention they kept a firm eye on us. All of us loved food and the pizza's where AMAZING!!! We are all wine lovers and we thought we'd try the house white, it was so good we went though 3 bottles of the stuff. Really liked this place and will be back to try the 1m pizzas.
s. r.
Always a great place to visit. It gets extremely busy which is always a good sign that the place is good, Whatever food you order, whether pizzas, pasta . meats it is extremely tasty and very good portion size, staff are very friendly too, Give it a try !!
I. W.
Lovely atmosphere, great food, helpful staff. Although it was pretty quiet when we went, the tables are pretty close together, so if it was busy it'll be uncomfortable if you're COVID wary.
S. S.
Great food. Perfect as an authentic italian restaurant run and served by italians. Good service. All the dishes are excellent.
G. H.
Really good food. The staff was very helpful
F. B.
Delicious, good food and polite waiters!
M. x.
Yummy food for a good price. Nice decor. Servers were not the most friendly and quite slow despite it not being busy. Would go again though.
E. M.
Lovely place with delicious food! Its intimate, we came after a show at Sadler's Wells and had incredible meal! Services was excellent and wine was tasty.
C. D.
Bresaola and steak fantastic but could do with more gluten free options for mains!
O. A. T.
Amazing pasta dinner and really lovely staff. The ambiance really reminded me of all those Italian restaurants with simple decor but great vibes - and lots of Italian customers which is always a good sign. And special thanks to our waiter who also made us laugh. ^_^
J. C.
Great food. Only complaint was that one of our dishes {hot} was served on a cold plate.
A. P.
Great food, friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere. Felt like home.
P. A.
Always pay these guys a visit when I am in London. In all the years I have been visiting Santore I have never been disappointed.
S. E.
Been here for 4 consecutive Saturday nights because the service is always excellent and food is always delicious. The staff always made me feel welcome.
w. t.
Amazing pizza, amazing wine, friendly staff!!
T. F.
Nice reasonable priced Italian food, good service and great location .
J. E.
We really on Santore for an almost weekly family Italian meal. There are more expensive and gourmet places for special occasions, but this is a place that will satisfy kids and adults without breaking the bank.
A. J.
Best Italian Pizza in London. I was introduced to this place by two Italian friends of mine who resided in London several years before I got there. Ever since, every time I'm in London, I visit Santore at least twice. The waiters at this restaurant are extremely nice and friendly.
m. L.
Good quality Italian food, the portion is big
N. S.
Lovely food brilliant service ,and served quickly at our request(train to catch).
D. B.
It's very good pizza. Although I'd prefer to alter the toppings.
A.
My pizza was amazing as usual. Better booking in advance, as it is always quite busy.
T. R.
I cant think of many restaurants that have a “family run” feel. The pizzas are minimalistic and brilliant! The menu is reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Ive been here about 5 times in the last two months and have never been dissatisfied. Its usually crowded and for a very good reason, they are one of the best italian pizzerias in london.
C. S.
Best real Italian pizza in this part of London. Lost count how many times I’ve ordered from them on Deliveroo. 10/10 recommend.
S. P.
Wow! Wonderful pizza in very lovely location. Will go back for sure
M.
Reasonable authentic Italian restaurant that offers value for money and quick service. The menu is varied with plenty to choose from, mainly classics such as pizza and pasta dishes, in a relatively nice interior although being close to the door can get cold around lunchtime due to the volume of customers.
G. M.
One of my favourite places to enjoy the real Italian pizza in London!
B. S.
Excellent pizza, nice service with a smile (staff were wearing face masks). Home made Naples style Tiramisu was excellent 👍 Happy to recommend and will return!
A. Y.
We chose the restaurant as it accommodates all our dietary and nut allergy requirements. The staff also called beforehand to confirm the allergy details to make sure they got it right. Lovely food!! We had a great night out.
A. 1.
Always a pleasant experience at Santoré and the last, most recent visit did not disappoint. The waiters are effortlessly friendly and courteous. Their rectangular pizzas, available by the half metre, are sublime.
J.
Affordable Italian food, great portions. Ordered the Seaford pasta and personally found the pasta to be a bit too tough for my liking. Nevertheless, a very good feed.
I. B.
We arrived just after 6pm without a table reservation...were shown to a table for 2, requested drinks quickly arrived and our menu selection given...our meal arrived without any undue delay and was excellent. Later diners might not fare so well as the restaurant quickly filled after 7pm and the wait will increase.... overall the food was great the staff friendly and helpful the restaurant was of a rustic Italian style and worthy of a return visit....
B. N.
Food was amazing, place is really cozy with outdoor tables and waiters were really friendly. 100% recommend
R. T.
Just based on my own personal experience, this was and still one of the best pizzeria in London, now while dealing with social distancing, etc, because of Covid-19 various issues, you could find even less crowded or was just my lucky day. So more reasons to visit before eventually we get stuck in due to another unpleasant lockdown(and really nobody needs or want that)
s.
So cheap £3.99 for a three course meal, wow.
G. P.
We randomly chose to have lunch here and it was a great decision! We asked them for a 45 minute lunch and they helped us. Panuozzo was delicious, veal rolls with aubergine parmigiana too! We didn't eat the pizza, but it is also made the proper Neapolitan way and looks yummy. I'd like definitely recommend and I look forward to coming back soon
A. A.
Oh this was spectacular! Prompt service! Very friendly Italian guys. I really loved my chicken with mushrooms! The salad dish was great and my wife’s sea life choice was cooked excellently (I don’t condone fishing industry products). Will definitely come here again!
The decor is excellent, very cosy and clean.
A. P.
Probably the best pizza I've had outside of Italy (actually it was better than a few in Italy too!). Super busy and popular, but staff is very friendly and they can immediately tell you how long it'll take until the can find you a table.
G. A.
Went here for a special dinner. We had the fried mozzarella and aubergine, and the meat and olives to start. The former was probably the highlight of an evening full of tasty food - it was slightly smoky, substantial, and went wonderfully with the aubergine. We had half of metre of pizza between us, and had to take a few hundred grams home with us after - we were completely stuffed! A congenial atmosphere for talking :-)
D. E.
Great restaurant in Exmouth Market, you need to book as it's very popular. Four of us went, I had Swordfish, the others had pizza (really good and in 3 sizes to choice from) and Chicken in a mushroom sauce. We will go again when in London.
P. S.
One of my favourite local restaurants. I'm not always big on authenticity (if it works, it works), but here it's charming and irresistible. Try the rucola pizza!
S. G.
This is a real Italian experience. From decent Wines, to outstanding Pasta dishes and Pizza al Metro. Do not expect "cheap": remember good quality food can't be cheap. But it's fair, like the service. You won't be disappointed, if you like authentic Italian food.
O. S.
Really great service and stunningly yummy food. Restaurant decor is very simple but place is always packed so would recommend to make a reservation. Calamari were especially good!
M. B.
Lovely place, authentic pizza from Naples. If you are a group of people I suggest to take the meter of pizza with different toppings. The stuff was nice. Price a both high but worth it.
J. A.
Great food, nice terrace for a sunny day.
J. I.
Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff. Authentic and tasty Italian food served fresh. Can get quite busy and noisy in the evening but that just adds to the European vibe. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table which was worth it I the end, but they don't have a proper waiting area so have to mill about near the entrance which wasn't too good. They have packed a lot of tables in a smallish space but that adds to the cosy-ness of the place. 12% service charge is added to the bill automatically. The food was quite reasonably priced too. Recommended!
S. S.
Pretty good of course not the next pizza I had but it's definitely up there
D. P.
Amazing pizza.
The reason I came here was for a work lunch, what it has are these metre long pizzas or something, all the different pizzas we ordered, arrived as soon as they were made, they all tasted amazing.
Now some reviews are saying it isn't the best, but what I had was, fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection and fast for a big business lunch, is what I want and Exmouth market is a great place for food.
Y. G.
Classic italian restaurant!
Good dishes, i suggest you to try " panuozzo". It is a tipical napoletan pizza, it's like a "sandwich pizza" ( it isn't but just for the idea 🤣) and it's soooo good!!!
P. W.
This is a very good place to eat food and service was excellent please book very busy
S. M.
Excellent Italian food, service, prices.
S. G.
We ordered wine and pizza. Very delicious, but the crust is a bit soft for my taste. After the pizza had been sitting for 5 minutes, the middle became soggy. Still tasty!
M. V. B.
Authentic Italian food in the heart of Clerkenwell. The choice of menu is wide enough, the staff is friendly and efficient.
J. U.
I thought of modifying one of their bianchi pizza, the kitchen politely recommended against this. When it finally arrived, I totally understood why...it was absolutely perfect as they intended! The Cod in tomato sauce was also exceptional. Thanks guys!!
A. S.
One of the best Italian restaurants based in Exmouth Market. Offers a wide variety of Italian dishes and delicacies. The restaurant's special pizza is a must try! Someone looking for an authentic Italian taste won't be disappointed.
C. S.
No, seriously, that was the best Pizza I've ever had. No joke. We showed up after 10pm on a Sunday and were warmly welcomed. The restaurant was busy but relaxed (with lots of Italian customers). Service was friendly and efficient. We ordered bruschetta and a Vegetariana Pizza. It was a good size, cooked in a wood fired oven, the light, crispy dough was great with deliciously fresh tasting toppings almost all the way to the edge; none of this practice of only having toppings half way to the edge that one increasingly finds in Pizza Restaurants in Shoreditch and the like. I am definitely coming back as soon as I can.
P. J.
A great little find! Recommended by the guy I was staying with! Very popular with lots of Italians dining there (which is always a good sign!). Fantastic food and beautiful wines.... reasonable prices....what's not to like :-)
F. J. L.
Very good pizza. The dough is excellent (rarely had as good). 2 comments: The quattro formaggi didn't have a lot of cheese (no blue), so a bit disappointed on that one. Last but not least, some members of staff were very rude and unpleasant.
J. B.
Really pleasant and relaxing supper venue. Queuing out of the door too even on a Tuesday in March, a good sign. Yet unhurried good service. Interesting Italian food, and good value at £100 for four with wine, a very drinkable house red.
K. L.
Delicious Italian food, great service and a brilliant wine list. Accommodated our group at short notice on a busy Friday night. The gnocchi with smoked cheese and tomato is so simple but one of the most delicious things I've eaten.
J. A.
Great Italian food art great price range. I am a fan of most restaurants around the exmoth market area and this confirmed the standard. Very tasty and traditional food, they make great pizzas and pasta dishes. Don't skip on having a look at the desserts either
D. B.
We ate at Santore last week, and had a superb meal. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The style is quite loud and crowded, but feels lively and comfortable. The food was remarkably quick, and absolutely delicious. They didn't even mind when a passing friend popped in to see us - they found an additional chair. I couldn't recommend this place more, and hope to return in the future.
E. S.
Best pizza in London <3 for a moderate price, friendly service
C. A. M.
Nice and friendly staff. Good and fast service. Good Italian food.
S. Y.
Probably the best pizza I have ever had. Italian friends tell me that it's better than at home, and that must mean something! Let them combine your pizzas into one large one served on a nice wooden platter.
M. R.
I've been here so many times and I would definitely keep coming back. The food is superb and the wine selection is super extensive. Seafood pasta is awesome - one of the best I've ever tried in London. The place is always clean and very well kept.
I. S.
The ricotta and pear tart was maybe the best dessert I've ever had. Everything else was also lovely, and nice outdoor space with heaters.
R. F.
One of the greatest institutions for Italian food in London. The pizzas are all excellent and don't forget to try their "panuozzo", which is their trademark specialty - you can only find it here and in Gragnano, outside of Naples. The pasta options are also very good. Overall a great place, with very sensible prices.
B. V.
Very nice Napoletanian restaurant. Friendly Italian staff, give you good advice in ordering. A bit expensive, but food is very tasty. Ingredients from Italy, traditional recipes, very good pastas and amazing pizzas. I got a pasta this time, with broccoli salsiccia and parmesan cheese, it was like eating in Italy! They also do meter-sized pizzas which is very popular for events or big groups!
Tip: ask for the dish of the day!
Ps: remember to book, it is always full!
P. P.
I really find it hard to choose a better pizza place in the UK. Been here loads of times. Very authentic italian feel. Staff are true Italians but have great temperament. Well worth getting a sharing pizza for the experience or even a calzone. Just writing this review makes me want to go back very soon. I miss you Santore!
J. P.
Perfectly professional serving staff. The most incredible spaghetti carbonara I have ever had. A real surprise.
R. P.
I went for a group lunch for work. The food was generally good but there's room for improvement. The price reasonable. The service was excellent. Our food generally came on time, they staff was attentive but not overbearing. They also were able to remember what we all ordered even when we didn't.
O. B.
We all really enjoyed our meal here. The pizza and the pasta are all first rate and generous in portion. The vibe and the atmosphere is quite special too. I highly recommend this.
j. K.
Simply put... This place is wow!!!!! The BEST pizza me and hubby have ever had (even better than the ones we tried in bologna earlier this year). Really nice staff team too!
A. R.
Great atmosphere and service, and big, robust, rustic Italian food. I loved the aubergine, tomato and cheese bake to start, then enjoyed my cod with capers, baby plum tomatoes and black olives. It wasn't perfect; menu said pan-fried fillets, this was one (pleasingly) very large filet which was chargrilled flesh-side down, resulting in some strong burnt flavours. I quite like this, but not sure it's the best way, especially as the skin on the other side wasn't crisped. Perhaps they could have grilled half the time flesh-side, then finished it off skin-side leaving that part nice and crisp?Very generous side salad, and sauteed potatoes lovely. Apple tart was nice, but the standout was the Salice Salente - absolutely gorgeous wine with a non-cloying sweetness and chewy yet soft tannins. I love this sort of unpretentious food, and others at various tables were ordering enormous lengths of pizza - all served-up with panache and a sense of fun. I'll definitely be going back as I eat quite regularly in the area. Hygiene rating of 4/5 at March 2017.
D. L. M.
One of the best pizza in London. Particularly good for big groups as you can get a pizza as long as your table. Other Italian dishes are also available but I rarely see people eating them...
D. C.
Best Italian pizza 🍕 in central London. This doesn’t mean anything coming from my mouth as I’m not Italian. Good news is that this comment came from my Italian acquaintances. 👍🏼
Order by the metre if you're with friends to make it special.
C. T.
I LOVE SANTORE! IT'S THE BEST RESTAURANT EVER!
Their pizza and pasta are great, the staff is super friendly, their drinks are fantastic, and their desserts are even better. This is one of my favorite restaurants in London for Italian food.
R. H.
Very popular but still got seated. I'm glad that we did as the lasagne was wonderful! So fresh and tasty it was one of the best lasagna that I've had
W. L.
We had three people and we ordered a pizza, a Ragu pasta and a calamari starter to share. The calamari was not good - oily and small portion for the price. Though we only had two mains, all of us were very filled by the end of the meal and we couldn't even get desserts. The thing is I wasn't feeling well so just ordered water, and the staff seemed unhappy with that.
K. L.
An Italian friend swears by Santore as the best pizza in London, and I'm inclined to agree (though I haven't had too many pizza points racked up in England yet).
Cheery welcoming space with a view of the big tiled oven that pumps out all the crispy pizzas. A very hefty amount of food since the pizzas are a meter across, and they don't skimp on the cheese. The spicy oil drizzle is perfect contrast to the meaty oil.
Such a good next-day breakfast with an egg atop!
N. B.
A great italian restaurant, my new favourite in London. We always book in advance as it can get quite busy. Really nice menu with fantastic tasting wines. Recommend to try the Ragu!
V. F.
One starter, One Margherita and One pasta (orecchiette with broccoli), 2 sparkly water and 2 coffee for 45£. Everything was nice and tasty. The service was very good. Raccomanded but out of budget for a normal day lunch. :)

It is a really good pizza place in between farringdon and angel station just a few minutes walk away.
It is the best pizza I have had in London since I am not in Italy anymore. Good size, perfect amount of toppings. I would recommend the Masaniello pizza which has mortadella, ricotta and fresh rocket. Very tasty and filling.
The pasta is nice too, but I only tried the maltagliati with courgette and prawns.
The only down point (that's why 4 starts) is that the last time I visited with my friends we were rushed out by the manager of the evening shift even though according to the timetable the kitchen was still open. He just put the whole bill on one card when we wanted to split it. As people who work in the customer service me and my friends were surprised as you should never get in the way of a payment issue. Waiters who had been excellent were mortified by his behaviour.
M.
Really good Italian pizza. We really enjoyed the food in this place. Probably the best pizza money can buy in London. Honest price just £10 for a pizza definitely a good quality/price ratio.
J. L.
Amazing meter long pizza, nice service as well.

I just want to say before that this is a very wordy review because I can’t say how awesome this place is with simple words.
I don’t usually go out to restaurants, and I decided to have a treat. I took my partner, and we were very pleasantly surprised! I ordered a garlic pizza bread as a starter, and because it’s very big we had half each. It was delicious, but not as delicious as the mains! My partner had chicken with tomato, cheese, and ham. I had a lemon-infused charcoal grilled swordfish steak. Both came with sautéed potatoes which were absolutely delicious. My swordfish steak was beautifully cooked, and filled with flavour. I’ve never tasted anything like it, which makes me feel like I’ve missed out!
My partner says his main was perfectly cooked and very flavoursome - thankfully he gave me a little taste so I can fully back that up! (Definitely much prefer my swordfish steak though, hehe)
Then we had desert, and it was beautiful! We had the pear cake, which was very light and fluffy. Each spoonful was full of this lovely pear flavour, not overly sweet, but just sweet enough. On top of the cake was a raspberry and mint leaf which really enhanced the flavour, and mixed up the flavour halfway through the desert. Warning, don’t do what I did and eat it too quickly! This is one desert which you want to savour, definitely. If you eat it too quickly, you’ll wish you had more!
Afterwards, we had a cappuccino, and just sat comfortably, food in our bellies, and relaxed for a while. There was no pressure at all to pay, so we got to sit and talk for a while.
After paying, we got complementary lemon liquer, which was really lovely, and gave us a little buzz for the evening.
So, as you can see, the food was absolutely perfect. But a restaurant doesn’t get five stars on food alone! All the servers were friendly and attentive, and the service was perfect. We got our food swiftly, but not too fast. Just at the right speed so we could eat comfortably, and then have a conversation.
It was a bit pricey - £60 for 2 having 3 course meals. Honestly, this is the first time I can say that is well worth it! The price is definitely fair, I can’t argue with it.
I’ll definitely be back, and I will recommend this to anyone in the farringdon area!
I. H.
Great pizza, fantastic host. I highly recommend the Napoletina.
B. M.
Reasonably priced. Bigger than expected. Actual menu in situ better than website and there's an okay selection. Took a while to get served after being seated. It can get quite busy though after seven even on a Monday. In a cool area and has outdoor seating. Clean and tidy. Staff helpful and polite. I'd recommend.
B. L. (.
Currently my favorite Italian restaurant in London :) very “family” atmosphere. Perfect for friends gathering. I tried mussels and prawns pasta. The ingredients were nice ~

Just a few minutes walk from Farringdon tube and situated on Exmouth Market this is a very friendly Italian restaurant. The staff, food and ambience are lovely. However the deserts were nowhere near as good as the starter's and main course. Overall a lovely restaurant
C. H.
Food was good, service as you would expect (however we weren't asked if our meals were okay after they had arrived) however the "discretionary" service charge suggested at 12.5% we felt was high as we had only a main and a drink. We paid 10% tip and first a waiter came over to point out we haven't paid enough, at which point I said we paid a 10% tip, and then a manager came over afterwards to ask us what was wrong with the service. Made us feel incredibly awkward as we felt we had tipped appropriately at 10% for what we ordered and received, and now we had a visit from the manager. Bit much!

Santore feels like your average local Italian restaurant (in that the waiters make you feel like you're family), but it's definitely worth travelling to for the pizza alone - easily some of the best in London. I managed to order one of the few cheese-less pizzas on the menu (to be fair, they warned me) but my Marinara was still delicious and the perfect size. My friend and I were too full for a dessert each, so we shared the chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream and tiramisu sauce. Not particularly sophisticated (it's basically three desserts in one, isn't it?) but really delicious and only around £4. Santore also has outdoor seating overlooking Exmouth Market and the aforementioned service is wonderful. If the delicious food wasn't enough, I was completely won over by the shots of limoncello that came with the bill.
C. A.
Such amazing flavours in some colourful and well presented dishes.
Happened to find this restaurant by chance whilst working passed but will definitely be back again.
Nice, friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely meal, good value for money, highly recommend it.
A. M.
Authentic finest neapolitan cuisine and pizza. Santore' in Exmouth Market is not as busy as the other branch, Sartori in Leicester Square, therefore it is possible getting a table even without booking. Staff are very efficient and friendly. I recommend the veal parmigiana involtini with tomato sauce!
M. S.
Lots of outside tables under rainproof awnings with heaters so very comfortable even on a wet autumn evening. Good food and generous portions. Thanks
D. B.
Good solid Italian serving a range of simple dishes. Excellent pasta and pizza. Service is attentive, warm and friendly.
A great spot for a long lunch or lazy dinner.
D. C.
White pizzas with smoked mozzarella 😋😋😋 So tasty thought I'd died and gone to heaven!!
T. B.
Love the place. My Italian colleague showed this place to me. Great genuine Italian food, efficient service. Gets busy during dinner time, I prefer to book in advance to secure a table.
P. L.
Exmouth Market is a fantastic street for places to eat, and it's hard to go wrong really. Santore is at one end of the street and is a busy little place, so booking is advisable! It's not the cheapest restaurant but the food is excellent and the service good, if a little businesslike rather than friendly. There's a good choice of dishes, all of which are tasty and well presented. One of my favourite spots when I visit London on business.
A. A.
One of top 3 pizza places in London. Would highly recommend, couldn’t comment on the rest of the food as I only tried the Pizza.
J. J.
I had a lovely tuna pizza with an old friend this afternoon. She had a veggie pizza. The atmosphere and chat was warm and amazing, although it was pouring outside.
O. E.
One of my favourite pizza places in London!
A. R.
The pizza at Santore is one of the best you'll find in the area. It's close to a Naples style with a doughy crust and fresh-tasting sauce toppings. Staff and cooks are Italian and they know their pizza. They also offer pizza 'al metro' which is great fun for parties of 4 or more. It's basically an elongated, larger pizza that can be shared. Pasta dishes are also good, but go for the pizzas. Prices are good for the quality offered.
C. L.
Authentic Italian restaurant with delicious pizzas ! The service is great. It’s more like a canteen and can get noisy so if you’re looking for something quiet you might want to try another place.
E. N.
Very livley. Good lication. Very good Italian food
M. H.
Real Italian cuisine and services. Che bello.
R. F.
Great place with everything you can want on the menu. Service is pleasant and the dishes portion size is large. Good times enjoy with a glass of red wine
F. P.
The best pizzeria in London, full stop.
Reservations are accepted here, so make one and enjoy the best pizza you can possibly have.
They also offer an excellent selection of entrèes.
N. S.
Great food. This place is always busy, so go in a small group, go early in the evening, or book! Try the antipasti plate and then share a pizza for real value. Probably best to ignore the puddings.
J. L.
One of the best Italian restaurants in London. Highlights are Smoked mozzarella with sautéed aubergines, Pappardelle with beef and porcini ragù, and Pasta with king prawns & courgettes. The food is absolutely incredible and so well-priced. Definitely be back soon!
M. L.
Excellent middle range Italian food near Sadlers Wells theatre. My young niece (nearly 13) was a little daunted by the Italian menu and initially 'wasn't hungry' but she ended up eating all hers and polishing off the last pieces of everyone else's pizzas, saying it was all delicious. And we made it to the dance on time as well.
R.
Pizza tasty, service fast. A little cramped. Wait staff efficient and friendly, but manager rushing us to give two of our seats away after we had cancellations. It was Saturday night, but he was rushing us through the experience to give our table away, not pleasant.
J. B.
Stumbled across this place by accident and glad I did. A little cosy between tables but adds to the ambience. Pizza was light, crisp and freshly baked and tasted amazing.
I. M.
A top three best Italian restaurant in London. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly and professional. Book a table as it's always busy.
Each plate is amazing!
v. b.
The best pizza in London: fantastic pizza without any fuss. It really feels like a pizzeria you can find in Italy. Service is very friendly and helpful.
A. D.
Guys i can't live without bread. I know my breads. This is hands down the best pizza in town, it beats the metro in battersea and the franco chain. Great ingredients super base and the aubergines are to die for. Staff also super friendly!
S. J. N.
Great pizza, I love santore definitely one of the best pizza restaurants in London. The pizza is in southern italian style and the ingredients are good quality, the wine list is good as are starters and desert and the staff is very friendly.
B. W.
Always a fantastic pizza! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, there is little wait between courses and the food is generous and beautiful.
R. L.
One of the best Neapolitan pizza in London. Also the other dishes are awesome and the staff is super nice, kind and welcoming. Forza Santorè!
A. B.
Came here for dinner on Friday night. The pasta with prawns was great. However the swordfish was utterly overlooked. It was really hard and chewy! Weird! But managed to gulp it with my pinot Grigio
P. S.
If you are looking for good italian food then have no doubt that you will have a great meal here. Friendly staff, good service, nice prices. This is one of my favourite restaurants in London
t.
Had a large family function there a few weeks ago and cannot compliment the food and service enough. The staff and Management were a credit. No request too difficult. if you want great food with no fuss Santore is a great place to eat.
D. C.
Great Pizza and Pasta! Pizza is Naples style (thick and juicy), nice toppings and quality/quantity balance: great as a starter! However, the main course has to be Pasta! This is by far one of the best pasta restaurants in London.
E. P.
Authentic Italian wood fired pizzas, classic recipes. The antipasti look home made and are delicious. Staff ooze Italian hospitality!
F. D.
The dough was a bit too chewy to me while the toppings were really fresh and tasty and the spiciness was just right. Staff nice and thoughtful.
A. V.
Food was amazing, good portion sizes and it isn't too expensive. Would recommend!
D. L.
Lovely pizzaria on delightful street which is bikes only.lovely atmosphere. Thankyou for looking after us post covid
S.
Best pasta and pizza around! The fusilli is amazing and so is the orrechette. Pizzas are great too. Cocktails not so good, but wine selection is good.
J. C.
We are regular visitors to Sadlers Wells Theatre and the foodie corner that is Exmouth Market is ideally placed to serve pre theatre diners.
Having tried a few of the restaurants on this strip, many of whom didn't last a season, we've now settled on Santore as our 'go to' eaterie. In return they have accommodated parties ranging in size from 2 to 10 in good time from arrival at 1800 to leaving at around 1910 in time to get to the theatre.
I cannot comment on service that is describable as anything other than friendly, sometimes cheeky when they've got to know you, but always professional.
I'm no lover of anything that had anything to do with water but other diners regularly indulge in these dishes.
I do enjoy my past and pizzas and on a good day, persuade them to let me share a pizza as they seem to have one speed for portions - large. Try ordering a small milanese - won't happen, you can usually park a small car on the bread-crumbed offering that arrives.
Deserts are consistent. I never bother looking past the Caramel pudding but do be aware that a couple of their puddings appear to use a chocolate sauce to anchor the desert to the dish. If you don't like chocolate or can't eat caffeine you need to shout first.
Is it cheap? No - then again nothing worth anything usually is and Exmouth market is certainly trendy. Is it dear - again no. Fairly priced quality food. In fact I've just booked for 5 people again this Friday - and have lost track of the number of times we've been there.
Nuff said?
E. T.
Absolutely one of the best Italian pizza in London, cooked with a wooden oven.
Very good range of pizzas and panozzi, a typical Napoletan sandwich. They are usually quite fast to serve you during lunchtime.
L. G.
My absolute favourite Italian restaurant. Delicious food, lovely staff and atmosphere.
N. W.
Was ok, nothing special, scrimped a bit on the mozzarella. Limited selection of drinks. They automatically add a 12.5% service charge - would be nice if they took tips based on merit.
G. S.
Good italian pizza. Staff are friendly and engaging and quite accommodating. Particularly pleasant for summer evenings when you sit outside with the bustle of the street.
V. D.
Amazing garlic pizza bread - cheap too! The staff inside can be a little rude at times, very rushed. But great food!
R. C.
Lovely restaurant on Exmouth market. Waiter very friendly. Broccoli and sausage pasta was bland though. Bruschetta & Veal Milanese was good.
F. K.
Never disappointed, very good restaurant located in a good atmosphere street with quite a lot of pubs all around. Their fish and pasta are one of the best I ate in London since a very long time
you can get a very good plate of pasta for around 9.5£ !
J. H.
Bruschetta Napoli was really delicious. Pizza funghi was very good; great "mochi mochi" (as the Japanese would say) texture to the base, very fresh tasting tomato sauce, and mozzarella was tasty. Mushrooms perhaps a bit unadventurous but that wasn't really a big problem. Tiramisu and limoncello to finish: yum! Service very good, staff genuinely warm and very efficient. They really got everything right here.
D. L.
Very nice pizza made as in Italy (so don't expect a pizza hut style menu). Pizzas here are up to a metre long, and we're made very quickly.
S. N.
Lovely pizza, staff attentive, but got a bit confused when serving drinks and poured some wine into a glass which already contained water.
R. R.
Very good Italian pizza 🇮🇹
A. F.
We ate vegetarian mains and they were lovely. The portion of gnocchi didn't look huge but in the end I hardly finished it. Lovely staff too
S. S.
Fantastic pizza and pasta ,brilliant service and very friendly prices, I can't fault this place at all. One of the best pizza restaurants in London.
E. S.
Great service. Tasty food. Defo reccomend.
K. Y.
Santore is a great casual spot for delicious Italian food, run by friendly Italians. I came here for lunch with my boyfriend, who is Italian from Roma (and critical of Italian food), and we both loved it. The orecchiette with broccoli and sausage is exceptional! The pizzas are don't disappoint either. I'm already dreaming of my next plate of orecchiette...
J. D.
Food is excellent. Good service. Good experience.
N. S.
One of the best pizza and pasta places in town. Ask for a Panuozzo Sarracino and get ready for a treat! Pasta and fish very good as well.
F. K.
Dined there the end of August 2018 and found the food to be fantastic...Had the breaded veal and it covered the whole plate..Very good....My wife had pasta and found it to be very good as well...Alex our waiter was excellent and very friendly and attentive...Thank You ..from a appreciative Canadian visiting London...
J. J.
One of the better places to get authentic Italian pizza. Very good service and good wine selection.
a. h.
LOVELY PLACE FOR BRUNCH ESPECIALLY IF ONE IS INTERESTED IN ITALIAN...PIZZAS..PLEASE BOOK IN ADVANCE FOR A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY SO THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR LONG.I HAD BOOKED IN ADVANCE FOR EIGHT PEOPLE AND HAD A SUMPTUOUS MOUTH WATERING MEAL.
L. C. K.
They say good things come to those who wait, and that stays true for Santorė. It was a slightly longer wait due to its packed restaurant but the wait was definitely worth it. Try everything! All of it is cooked perfectly and is just enough to keep you wanting more.
P. C.
I only seem to come here every few years, but it's always consistent good.
D. N.
Lovely food here and friendly service. Nice Italian wine too though can't remember which one. Would like to revisit to try some more of the menu
V. N.
Stefano and Ralf very professional and friendly. The pizza is amazing and the staff is very nice and they have the extra smile.

M. S. W.
Excellent Italian food and wine. Service and atmosphere are great. It’s also nice how many of the tables overlook Exmouth Market
D. F.
This is an underrated yet very good place for pizza. It’s the only thing I ever order. Normally the hot Americana. One day I will come with friends and order the huge metre of pizza.
B. K.
I've been here a couple of times. Always great service and the quality of the food is fantastic. One of my favourites in the area!
J. “. B.
Excellent service, awesome pizza. We got the food really quick. Will definitely return again if I can!

Great food, friendly staff, good vibe
N. T.
The best italian restaurant ever! Friendly staff and excellent food! There is no dish I can fail them on.
P. C.
Best pizza in London hands down!
E. E.
Hidden away in the beauty that is Exmouth Market (not the easiest to get to if you don't know where you're going), this restaurant is where I go to get my Italian food fix. Having spent a year living la dolce vita in Italy some years ago, I was delighted to find a place in London where the pizza tastes as good as in its native country and all the staff speak Italian. I was once told they train their pizzaioli in Italy before 'importing' them to work here. If you go here for just one thing, try the Rotolo Rustico (baked cheese goodness!).
P. K.
I would say that they produce some of the best pizzas in London alongside Theos in Camberwell and Sodo in Clapton. ALWAYS get Pizza by the metre - definitely adds to the dining experience.
J. B.
Lovely service and excellent pizza; reasonably priced wine. Good place to sit outside on a nice summers evening.
M. P.
One of the best places for pizza in London, said by Italians. If you are a few people, go and order pizza by the meter. So much fun!
R. L. P.
Absolutely delicious! Great pizza crust, pappardelle pasta was wonderful. Service was excellent.
M. M.
We were there in a group of some 10 people, took all sorts of dishes and everybody was really happy with the food. My gnocchi were delicious!
a. v.
Amazing italian restaurant. I'm italian and I can say it's one of the bests pizza I've ever had abroad. Also antipasti are delicious and they make handmade pasta.
Very very good
M. T.
Delicious Italian food (pizza, pasta, antipasti etc.) by the same people of the old Spacca Napoli.
Don't miss the antipasti!
Bread is complimentary like in Italy.
R. K.
Lovely friendly Italian restaurant. Great food, and atmosphere. Staff really nice. Service was included but left in "tipp" anyway.
I. R.
Great pizza - I've tried other dishes which are also good but always go back for the pizza! Service can be a little lacking but generally friendly.
M. P.
As an Italian I can say this is the best pizza in London hands down!! The guys are a good laugh too. Don't listen to other non Italian reviews..
K. K.
Went there before theater show. Staff was great and attentive. Food was ok. We went with friends who are going there for years and they say that the pizza is not as full of toppings as it used to be.
E. S.
The place is just fine. Not the best pizza but nice. The waiter was a bit rude, sometime they forget who is the customer.
C. M. J.
I really enjoyed eating on the street out front but the food was just ok. Service started great and then got bad after our food came.
J. O.
Great staff... authentic Italian dishes. Pizza was fantastic!!
T. K.
Great food, great atmosphere and not too pricey. Pizza oven is tops.
M. H.
Excellent pizza and a great place for sharing a meal with friends. Would highly recommend booking ahead as this place is always filled up!
G. C.
Very good pizzas. Prices a bit high. Reserve with time, if there is. I reservation and there is place, you can still sit down outside.
P. D.
Very good pizza. One of the few places in London where I can have it and not feel abroad. Prices are a little high but quite average considered it's London!
A. S.
Excellent, family style restaurant with classy touches. Good pasta, salads, wine selection and pizzas by the metre. Book in advance for busier evenings.
E. C.
Fresh pizza, a warm friendly environment and excellent seafood makes Santore a great place for lunch or supper. Not overly expensive considering its location and they also deliver through Deliveroo.
M. M.
Nice Italian food. Heating outside. Kind staff. Good experience.
G. Z.
Very nice environment! pizza is traditionally baked in a stone oven and the flavour reminds you of Italy!
D. S.
We have just had the prawn courgette pasta and it was absolutely delicious. Three types of prawns and the right amount of sage - gorgeous!!!
