100% worth going! The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff are lovely. We had to wait for a bit but it was worth the wait the pizza's are fantastic and so tasty, I'll definitely be going back again.

Pizzas can be a bit of a faff at lunchtime especially you are on the go, and panini's are tried and tired. Welcome the panuozzo! They normally only do this folded pizza at lunchtimes on weekdays, but this appable sort behind the forno fixed me up with one on a bank holiday. It was like going into a mate's kitchen and sitting at the breakfast bar as he works his magic. Gosh, I wish I actually had a mate that does that! Within minutes a blistered ball slides out of the oven which is then slashed open and filled with aubergine, mozzarella and a healthy handful of rocket. The spoon of chilli sauce added a sniffling delight on a winter day. I got greedy and followed it up with a tirimisu for £6. Gone are the days I can scoop up the lot by myself...this brick of coffee and cream is one for sharing. They like what they do and they care if you like it. I do, very much.

My favourite thing I tried at Theo's was the aubergine parmigiana. The arancini had very nice texture but it was a bit bland. It needed just a pinch of salt. The pizzas were ok nothing special

Theo’s has some of the best pizzas and Italian starters I’ve ever had in London. The staff are warm and welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is rich despite the sparse decor. Highly recommend the tiramisu.

I randomly stopped here for lunch before a client meet and was wonderfully surprised, I got fresh stone baked pizza with quality ingredients and a lovely reception from an adorable waitress. This has been a great new find. This is clearly a local favourite, even though there were few of us seated, the delivery option was very popular with riders frequenting the place. Will definitely be coming again

Big pizzas, good value, nice staff and was lots of space between tables. Clean toilets and was easy to get a seat even though you can't book although it did get busy around 7pm. We weren't rushed at all once we finished. Would definitely go back. Homemade lemonade was lush too.

One if not THE best pizza I’ve had in London. Not in the most ideal location if you are a tourist but the “trek” is totally worth it. The dough is so light to digest, not at all chewy and perfectly cooked. The interior is simple but very well curated (marble tables and plants) with glazing all around. It doesn’t get too loud, the service is fast, the people lovely and the price more than fair.

The best pizza in London. Always. We are regular customers and we ll never regret choosing Theos as our favourite place (both elephant and castle and camberwell venues). The staff is great and welcoming and the food is pure happiness.

This is a review for 22 August 2021. Not sure Google gets return visits. The food this evening was amazing, as were the drinks. I'm surprised a place this good gets better, when it doesn't need to, but that might be the definition of excellence. Thank you to the team who work so hard.

Been to Theo's at E&C lots of times over the last couple of years since it opened. They do reliably good Neapolitan-style pizza. Prices are fairly standard for London (not cheap but also won't break the bank). Simple but decent drinks selection with some local beers. Staff friendly and efficient. The only thing I'd say is there isn't a lot on the menu by way of meat-free pizzas. I know you can customise etc. but it would be nice to see a bit of variation/experimentation, even if this would upset some of the Italian pizza purists out there!

Been buying from here since they opened in E&C. Always found the pizza well made and good quality although not cheap. Unfortunately my last few orders have been very disappointing specially since the they had a change in the pizza chefs. The calzone even though quite pricey was flat almost like a folded pizza compared to crispy puffy it used to be in the past. Also the margerita over done and while Napolean pizza suppose to have burnt edges these guys are over doing it now. Feel bad to keep telling them to re do the pizza. My request to please try go to the previous quality else comparing the price they charge there are quite a few other options in the area.

We popped in here for a late meal after having played sport so were pretty hungry. We were relieved to get a table immediately, which was great. Focaccia was ok but not spectacular. The pizzas however, were excellent. We finished off with some small scoops of ice cream. I had pistachio, which was fantastic. Service was less good, hence the rating. We were told the card machine had broken so couldn't have a receipt or pay by card which was irritating to say the least. Service was a little sloppy - my knife and fork was removed at one point.

The pizzas lack the wood smoke from the superior restaurant in Camberwell and the house white wine was..... not to my taste. Had 2x takeaways today (Sept 2020). The front staff and the chef were soo friendly and lovely. Pizzas were very lovely, their tomato base was just very authentic! They have hand sanitizer at the door. If you are in the local, totally worth trying their pizza! Pizzas were soo yummy that we forgot to take photos.

I am giving this restaurant 4 stars because I appreciated their atmosphere and the fact that they offered gluten-free pizzas, which were really good. However, I give the pizza itself 3 stars. I got a marinara pizza, and the sauce was slightly too salty, the garlic was undercooked (resulting in unwanted consequences for my subsequent interpersonal interactions), and the crust was a bit burnt. I would come again (and ask for less salt in the sauce).

When you order pizza from other outlets, it can leave you (at times) feeling too stuffed or that the base/toppings are too greasy. Pizza at Theo’s is the complete opposite. Obviously fresh ingredients and a base that’s super tasty also - and their service was great too! Highly recommend :)

Little gem this place... I had to leave a review because I've bought more than 100 now... including 2 lots of 10 for the office pizza... (all perfect)... group feedback was... If I was in Italy, this is what I would expect... I felt proud because I'm local to this place. It's got a great vibe in the evening and very very good starters which most overlook. If anyone has eaten more pizza from this place I would be surprised. I notice someone left a bad review for delivery, I had one mishap on delivery with bad drivers causing the pizza to mess up (probably put it in sideways because it was really messed up), and you can get varying quality... but I like that because it's hand made right... it's supposed to be unique each time and it matters not because right now it's the best pizza in London imo and if someone knows better hook me up.

Theo's stands tall and serves some of very best pizzas in London. Consistently delicious food - I eat in there a couple of times a month as it's conveniently on my cycle home. I'm always well looked after by the staff and managers (max and more recently zac), who even when busy are always friendly and look after you very well. Big thumbs up and a real asset to the area. The number of locals i see eating in there regularly is a testament to that.

best pizza in London hands down! came in for lunch on a Sunday with my vegan friend and we both left super happy. lots of choice for both of us and even though i love my cheese i was definitely eyeing up her vegan option. the pots with chilli on the tables to add to your pizza's were a highlight!

A small quaint little restaurant in elephant and castle that serves some delicious pizzas. It's a shame there's not many options but there's always additional extras on what you get. The desserts though are the things you need to try, especially the ice-cream panuozzo which is delicious however no delicate way for you to eat it with a spoon, unless I'm not versed in eating such a delight. Really friendly staff. Definitely would go again.

EDIT: Knocking down a few stars - been twice in the last few weeks and a few issues: 1. No GF dough during lunch - not advertised anywhere 2. Got a collection last night - despite calling to place the order and being told it would be ready in 5-10 mins - i was told quite abruptly when i arrive (10 mins later) it was only just going in as they were very busy. Fine - but please be polite about things. The pizza itself was really below average compared to usual. The dough was thicker and chewier and they clearly had it in the oven for the minimum time as it hadn't even bubbled on the crust. And there were only about 3 anchovies on it, all in one place. Expected far more given the great experiences i have had, but i think Theo's is falling from grace. Previous review: Not ashamed to say I’ve been here 6 times since they opened, the food is great. The pizzas are fresh, tasty and authentic and the lunchtime sandwiches are yummy and great value. Throughly recommend!

Pizza authentically Italian. The place was heaving on a Sunday evening and we were told that it could be a while before a table became available (We had dropped in on spec and needed a table for three). They said we could sit at the small bar If we were prepared to wait. We chose this option and had drinks. We only had to wait about 15 minutes before we were seated. Our drinks were taken to our table for us. The relatively short time at the bar was more than rewarded with some excellent freshly prepared pizzas. I opted for the 'Anchovies tomato, capers, olives, oregano, garlic + Mozzarella' pizza. This was a hand thrown, rustic and very tasty offering. Both the Calzone and Tuna & Onion pizza's were equally enjoyed, so I am reliably informed. They certainly looked good. I did not partake of dessert, but my wife had the Tiramisu and said that it was light and very morish. My son had the Fritta Nuttela, tried by my wife and both thought it was a bit odd. It was not to their taste. This was relayed to the server when she asked seeing that it had not been eaten. To our surprise it was removed from the bill, a nice touch as we had not complained. If you like pizza, with good and friendly service certainly try Theo's.

Popped in to see what Theo's was like - it's 2 mins from my work - we got a table immediately, had our order taken within 5 and the food arrived about 10 minutes later. I had the Napoli Salami which was very tasty - perhaps a bit doughy for some tastes but I enjoyed it. A good alternative to Franco Manca or Pizza Express ; most pizzas are around the £10 mark here. Staff were also friendly.

Passed by their first outlet at Camberwell almost a year ago and never made good on my promise to make the pilgrimage back down to Camberwell again. Needless to say, it was such a pleasant surprise to see a second Theo’s on google maps 10 minutes from my place. I immediately rushed over and was not disappointed by the pizza, atmosphere was gorgeous, beer was great. Only thing I was rather confused by was the chilli sauce - have had my fair share of Neapolitan pizza but I’ve only seen this chilli sauce at Theo’s. It really reminds me of Asian garlic chilli, if I may say so myself. Have been back twice since and if the unforgiving teeth of my recently purchased pants show me some mercy in the next few weeks, I will deffo head back to Theo’s.
