Fabulous birthday lunch! The restaurant was very warm & welcoming. Alex, our server, had the patience of the Gods and was very friendly and polite. The food was absolutely delicious and, we felt, great value Thank you Alex and all the staff involved on my special day!

Decided to have an evening out at the cinema, then wanted something to eat so we went into Frankie and Benny's. First off our waiter was Alex M, fantastic guy who was funny and very helpful and made time for everyone he was serving. Food was excellent had burger followed by tiramisu and coffee, just finished the evening off perfectly. Would definitely go there again.

We always come here when going to the cinema - the best place to eat in Lockmeadow! The atmosphere and food is great... a special mention goes to Alex M who provided an excellent and really friendly table service! We ate the Lasagne with Cheesy Chips and the MacNCheese Burger with Corn on the Cob - all perfectly cooked and really filling... we will be coming again!

One of our favourite restaurants of Lockmedow to come to as a family. They say it’s who you know, but I guess for this it is. I’ve known the amazing Alex since 2017 when I looked his eldest two girls, and since just got to know him and his family at home and at Frankies. He’s always been a great waiter, helping with dietary requirements, making us always feel welcome with family or friends whoever we come along with and like with any child, he is great with our 27 month old and most likely when our second child comes along in July. Also we love the music every time.

We ate in frankie and Bennys today and although our food was nice, we felt everything was just abit slow. From ordering the drinks to the time they arrived. From the time between starters and main. We just felt we was just sitting around for periods of time. They waitress did say they were short staffed but they wasn’t really busy when we first arrived. Overall the food was good and waitress friendly. So we will try again!

Ordered a mixed grill. Asked for no mushrooms, got mushrooms. Chicken was really dry and ribs weren't that tasty. Chips were scattered all across the plate. Would've been nice if they were in a pot. Had it cooked medium rare, family member asked for theirs to be rare however it looked the same as mine. Prices are good. No one else had any problems. Alright restaurant to go to if you're looking for a cheap place to eat.

They really enjoyed the whole thing and are F&B converts now. All had great food, great portion sizes, great waiter service too - thanks Alex. Will def come back - as will the Grandparents! Only slight challenge was volume of music makes it tricky for older people so if you could unplug a speaker it would be a totally perfect experience. The welcoming manageress was really accommodating on our arrival too.

Came in to avoid the cold and was not disappointed. Served by Alex,who was very polite and patient with me (i have slow speech) which means a lot. I tried the pizzaluna for a starter and they were really nice. The hot sauce on the side was a bonus too. I then had the carbonara,which was just how i like it: not too creamy and spaghetti cooked just right. My last visit here was several years ago,but i will definitely not wait so long before my next visit. Going home with a full stomach and happy :)

Unfortunately we did find a peice of metal in the burger (used to clean the stove) this however was dealt with perfectly. We understand these things happen and without asking the manager came over and was extremely apologetic and we were offered deserts and received a very heavy discount. I normally love Frankie and Benny's but I think although this is quite a small one in comparison to others I've been to previously, it's trying to take on more than it should. When you go in it looks very small but overcrowded, when you take your seat you feel squashed in and like a sardine in a tin. If you need the bathroom you don't just get up and walk in a straight line as they haven't spread the tables out even a little for you to manoeuvre they've just crammed as many in as possible for more business so it's like navigating a maze to get there. Also we had made a reservation as we know it's busy on a Friday night and we wanted to make sure we'd have a table as there were 6 of us for an occasion, we were shown to the table, ordered drinks and then didn't see anyone for 45mins after that until we stopped one of the waitresses walking by as we wanted some food (I know, who'd have guessed). The waiting staff seemed too rushed off their feet as they're clearly also trying to save money by employing less staff as well as cramming a tonne of ppl in so we didn't get that nice friendly service with a smile which you get from every other frankie and bennys I've ever been to, just a quick order take and off and wl away again, didn't even ask if we wanted more drinks to go with it as we were all empty from such a long wait, we had to call them back and ask for them ourselves. After our order was placed we waited an average waiting time for food to arrive so although kitchen must have been busy also, they served food quicker than we had been waiting just for someone to take our order. The food was lovely, the usual standard of other frankie and bennys. Then again at the end we were waiting so long for someone to come over and clear the table or ask if we wanted dessert or the bill that 2 of our friends had to leave as although they allowed plenty of time for the whole evening, everything took much too long. And again in the end, even though we wanted dessert we had to call someone over and just asked for the bill as we didn't want to be cramped in for another hour or two waiting for that and then the bill again. All in all I'd say if you want that nice family friendly feel that usually goes with the lovely food at frankie and bennys, avoid this particular branch. It doesn't have that feel at all. You can see they've thought about how to make as much profit as possible and come to the conclusion that more tables in same space to fit more people around = more business = more money, which to be fair, seems to be working so far but then they are one of the few options within a little complex with a cinema and bowling etc. so it's convenient location will probably mean you will always see it busy.
