A great sign of authenticity is the fact that multiple middle eastern families can be seen eating here at once. I really have no complaints for this place. The food is delicious and presented wonderfully. The house wine is gorgeous too, I fully recommend everyone to try it. The fact it’s a chain can be off putting, but give it the benefit of the doubt! Not to mention, the staff were brilliant and friendly.

Never tried Lebanese food before, but it’s amazingly delicious and far exceed expectations. I cannot compare to other Lebanese restaurants, but the lamb here and the desert made with Tofu are both highly recommended.

First time here and enjoyed it. Went for the mixed grill which set me up for an evening of drinking. Nice decor inside but it is a bit chainy. If you’re after real authentic Lebanese it may not be the place for you. Still enjoyable though to fill a gap.

Amazing atmosphere. The Baba Ganuj was absolutely to die for. The lamb kofte tagine was very aromatic and fresh. The homemade pomegranate lemonade was the refreshing touch needed to complete the night.

Lovely decor very Alice in wonderland and welcoming. Menu is quite authentic to Lebanese food and we got the tagines with rice which were quite pleasant. Everything is halal and the homemade lemon drinks are lovely. Dessert menu wasn't quite to our tastes but still lovely restaurant and do encourage you go at least once to see if its for you.

I had an amazing night with a group of friends at Comptoir Libanais. The manager Frederico was very welcoming and seated a group of 7 without a reservation. The waiting staff were all friendly and have jokes for days. Most importantly the food was amazing and portion sizes are spot on. Great value for money and a really chilled atmosphere.

Unbelievable quality of food. This was our first experience of Lebanese food and it certainly didn't disappoint. Mezze platter starter was a highlight - good portion size and extremely tasty. Everything on the menu sounded delightful and I wish we could have sampled more. Service was good, never felt like we'd been forgotten about during a busy Friday night service. Couldn't be happier with our experience and we'd certainly return without any hesitation.

Went for dinner here last night as a group of 10…fantastic night! Our server Maria was so attentive, nothing was too much trouble and she went out her way to accommodate our big group and make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, so tasty! The lamb dishes were a big hit with the group and we loved the homemade lemonade! Plus the venue itself was just gorgeous, we all commented on how pretty it was and what a lovely atmosphere to be in. Would highly recommend this place if you like Lebanese food, and thanks again to Maria and the team for making us so welcome.

I love this restaurant and its decorations and I love their cute lemonade’s names! I really recommend trying the Roza and Romana lemonade. Also, the food is great. The Kebbe is delicious and fresh. The Kufta burger is a must. The tea is amazing and authentic. Finally, you should try the Orange Blossom Muhalabiya! This dessert is a goddess.

What a wonderful venue. The decoration is beautiful - lots of colour and character to lose yourself in. The food was delicious. I had a mezze starter and sea bass for the main and both were fantastic. I went for my Dad's 60th and staff went to great lengths to make it special. I gave them a birthday cake and our waitress made sure it came to our table at just the right time without my Dad knowing (they even pretended to take a dessert order to throw my Dad off the scent!) A pleasant evening made memorable by exceptional service ❤

We’ve been meaning to go here for ages, and it did not disappoint. Started with delicious alcoholic lemonades. Then enjoyed the Lebanese house wines. Best falafel ever. Generous and great quality mains. Crispy honey soaked baklava and a mango cheesecake for dessert. Excellent value for money. Our waitress Marta was great fun, very efficiently taking care of us, while also organising a birthday surprise for one of our friends - big shout out for Marta!!! We will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was very good. Starter came very fast and was spot on. The humus was some of the best I've personally had. The in house pomegranate juice was very tasty and went with the food perfectly. The main was cooked to perfection especially the chicken on the main Mix grill. The desert pudding was delicious. It came with the kids meal but I ended up eating it. The brownie was also very nice! Over all very good experience. Would recommend and I would definitely go again.

Lovely restaurant in the heart of spinningfields. The interior of the restaurant is very colourful and reflective of Lebanese / middle eastern culture. They have a wide range of authentic dishes and cocktails. They also have a good range of vegeterian dishes, and also have vegan options. Portions are generous and the food was very tasty! They are reasonably priced. We enjoyed our visit here and would definitely go back.

Such a lovely place to dine with distinctive and unique flavours! Has lovely Arabic/Lebanese music with Middle Eastern decor. Food is 10/10 due to such unique flavour combinations and you can taste that it is fresh. Large portions too so you should share larger dishes between two. Home made lemonades Mira and Roza are absolutely delicious with rose/orange blossom. Must give them a try. Fresh rose mint tea alongside dessert is a must, has it’s own unique flavour. Chocolate, petal and red berry cake is again absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere at Comptoir Libanais is lovely, beautiful decor and music. The prices are quite reasonable and the quality of the food was very good. We ordered the mezze platter for two as a starter, and the man'ousha with zaatar + halloumi wrap for mains. We also had a fresh lemonade and a carrot & ginger fresh juice. All very lovely. Speed of service was good, staff attentive and polite. Do note that a 10% service charge is automatically applied to your bill! Would recommend if you're in Manchester city centre!

Finally...! Somewhere I can get meze! And it was devine. Great extensive choice on the menu. Loved that meze sharing platter we ordered, was so nice to try so many different things. And I also loved that there was a meze of baklava as a desert option too, which I had...was lovely to try so many different recipes of one of my favourite deserts. Shame it was so quite when we were there and it lacked ambience because of this, would really like to see this place become a success...my favourite type of food

But unfortunately there are some negatives.. the juice it's suppose to be fresh but it isn't, okay it's might be fresh but they mixed it with water and the water was more than the juice.. when you ask for the bill they will give you the receipt and go away, with out asking if you will pay by card or cash and then they take ages to come back to you if you will pay by card..

Food quality was great. We ordered slow cooked lamb, and it was very soft and delicious. Also, a platter with a variety of small portions of starters is a must. Especially amazing was their hummus. We also tried Lebanese beer and were very satisfied with the quality. It was light and tasty. Service was exceptional. Fast, friendly, courteous. The restaurant has great home-like environment, and it is very comfortable and makes you feel relaxed. The only downside was deserts. We tried baklava and unfortunately it was not fresh at all.

Incredible beautiful place based in Spinningfields MCR. The only thing that stop it getting a 5 star review was how small the menu is apart from that the food is exceptional and so is the service. Price point is very keen considering the location however its a must visit and I shall be attending there again. We visited yesterday for our friend's birthday and had a fabulous experience. All of the food we had was delicious - fresh, tasty ingredients and really generous portions. The real highlight, though, was the service - our waiter (we didn't get his name, unfortunately, but he told us he was from Brazil!) was friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. He pulled out all the stops to ensure our friend celebrated her birthday in style and he really made our night. We will definitely return and recommend to others.

We were a walk in group of six diners who wanted lunch and were attracted by the decor and outside menu. The staff were friendly and were able to seat us immediately. The food was delicious, reasonably priced (for a city center) and catered well for the two vegetarians in our party. While the venue seemed clean and the decor was fun, the only tiny negative was having two of the three cubicles in the ladies toilets out of action which caused a queue even for the five females in our party who all went in together. A pleasant experience which added to a nice day out.

Initially coming into the restaurant they did not supply the halal sign on the menu. Upon questioning the first waiter to the evidence of the place being halal he was extremely rude and had no manners, he found the question for my dietary requirements too much to handle. The manager stepped in, great to the company and revised the treatment from a 1* to 3* he brought out the certificate and looked after us by placing another waiter on our table who was great. We had a midweek pre-theatre meal here. The place was virtually empty at 5.30pm but had filled up a bit by the time we left at 7pm. We had dips for starters, which were excellent and came with plenty of bread for two people. The mains (lamb and aubergine kofta tagines) were also very good and filling. I loved the decor and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our only disappointment was that a set menu advertised on an offers site, and showing as available for Manchester, was no longer on the menu, so the meal was quite a lot more than we expected. But it was pretty good value for money.

Food was okay, but not 'wow' I was happy to eat it, but felt abit let down by the taste, considering the price we paid for the food, however, I would 100% recommend the Hummus, it was delicious with the fries. The Bakalava selection, 3 of the 6 were great, but, the other 3 was bland to be honest. Overall, if you are looking for a place with a nice look, something abit different and happy to pay £35-50 for a meal for 2, then this is the place for you. But don't be amazed by taste (chicken wrap and burger). May be worth ordering some extra starters as I was not disappointed with the quality of this! I have dined in many Lebenese restaurants and well familiar to the Middle-Eastern food, so I would say I have 'high expectations', this maybe the reason, why me and my partner felt this way about the food. Would give this restaurant 7/10 at a push.

We went on bank holiday Monday and it was dead, yet it took about 10 minutes or more for someone to come over and take a drinks order. The waitress was really nice when she did come though. Food was really tasty and she gave me some really handy containers to take the rest home in, not like the standard rectangle plastic boxes you usually get. They use a suction method rather than clipping them on every corner so I've been using them since to take my lunch to work in. Nicely decorated inside the place too. Would go again

It's unusual decor makes it worth a visit. I've only visited in the day and the lunch menu is good. There is a wide variety to choose from. The wraps are normally a bit greasy but taste good. Definitely worth getting 2 courses but you will be full. Try one of the homemade lemonade - they are lovely.

Very nice decor and vibe, building on a strong Lebanese theme. The food was good, very tasty with a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Solid drinks menu with a wide range of cocktails. The service was very poor, taking 40 mins+ to get served drinks, mistakes in the drinks order and slow delivery. Waited ages again to order food, which was nice when it came, but then waited ages after the meal to get the bill sorted. Very disorganised and inefficient, no one checked on the table to see how we were doing, never asked if we wanted tea/ coffee/ desserts. The whole dinner took 4 hours, less than half of which we spent with food or drinks. Your experience might vary - but despite the food being great it wasn't worth the trip. Sadly, not recommended.

The main food has a reasonable price, but the side dishes and homemade drinks are really expensive (and tasty), but don't order the fried potatoes. They have a small shop at the enterance, selling Lebanese souvenir. I bought a syrup of orange blossom that they used in the homemade drinks.

Good food, beverages were normal as no juice was available nor milkshakes. The location was difficult to find, though it's my second visit. On the menu there're marks for non-vegetarian meals, however there were also beverages with alcohol that only waiter know, though it's proclaimed halal restaurant. The price was normal and good value for money.

However, their lamb mosaka is 👌👌the only downside for me are drinks. Tony (the founder) created these fresh juices that are so delicious you want to have 5 😅 I've tried the original version of the drinks in London and I thought it would be the same everywhere since it's a chain but nooooo! I am confident to say that at this branch you'll pay over 3£ for a regular glass of boxed juice!

We booked for a party of 5. The place is decorated wonderfully and has lovely staff. Great busy atmosphere on a Saturday night. The meze starters were great and interesting dishes. With lovely flavours plenty of mint. The mains were rather poor compared to the starters. The burgers with halumi cheese were very disappointing. Very average no cheese visible. The veg moosaka was cold. No savoury flours only sweet flavours. So I've dropped a couple of stars. Just above average I would say. Staff were wonderful and very clean toilets

The staff liaising with me, Katya, was very helpful and attentive to all the needs for the event even though things were arranged a tad last minute. We ordered the Feast Menu. The food portions were generous, and everyone enjoyed the starters. The Baba Ganoush especially was very enjoyable. Will definitely return to explore other dishes in the future.

Highly recommend Very nice place to visit. They offer a good variety of delicious food. Excellent service and the atmosphere of the restaurant is fabulous with our Arabic lovely songs. I tried the falafel, aubergine (Mtabal) and Tabouleh, the Tabouleh made with quinoa was really delicious. Also I tried the shoulder with rice was so tasty and cooked well really nice. As well I had some kabab of meat and chicken was amazing as well. Ended with dessert was lovely ending. We can’t forget about the drinks: water with mint and all the juice was nice I prefer the lemon really nice. Honestly, I really enjoyed was lovely evening. Definitely I will visit again and soon.
