Hi the food had no flavour or taste to its dishes, very basic and small portion all from the set menu (3 for £10.99). However the a la carte menu, I got ribs and they were impressive but come with no sides or salad so had to order extra. The dessert was lovely, presented beautifully and tasted great, no complaints. The service was poor, ask the waitress to change the dirty glasses but she was very rude and not happy. She was very argent and had attitude. Hope this help. Thanks

Came here for my partners birthday today for lunch. The service was pretty good but food could be slightly improved on. Would not recommend the caprese salad as it was served without basil (a main element!) Food was good value for money but my partners pizza arrived burnt and the fried chicken was quite greasy. Decor and atmosphere were really nice though and I would visit again if I was in the area :)

Really enjoyed eating here. The deal where you get like three smaller side plates for £10.99 is a pretty good deal I must say. All three of the meals that I had were really nice aswell, the pasta and meat were both cooked and season really well and the sauces had lots of flavour. The restaurant itself was really nice inside and gave a nice rustic Italian feel and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food came in very good time and was hot. Can't really complain about my time here at all was very impressed.

I hate the Trafford Centre. Full of zombies . The only saving grace to this place is this exceptional eating establishment. Have been braving the traffic and been coming here for years . The ambience, even though it is situated in a very busy shopping mall is lovely. The decor is superb with copies of famous art plastered everywhere - but now the food . The food is lovely , little Italian tapas dishes. So basically you can order and taste a multitude of things all exceptionally cooked. The devils temple does have its benefits. Bravo Pesto.

What can I say! Good is delicious, staff are lovely, great value for money. I only recently visited for the 1st time and came back the week due to the amazing service and food! Italian Tapas, I love it! Just like Alto By San Carlo. food was incredible, service was even better. massive variety of options and VERY cheap, about £5 per dish! They also have set menu offers and lunchtime offers. wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Trafford Centre.

Just had a delicious early dinner here. A veritable oasis in the Trafford Centre. Staff excellent as was the food. Nice quiet atmosphere and some classic tunes from the speaker system. Highly recommended for a nice Italian menu. Wife had the £10.99 menu and I ate from the full menu. Always our go-to place when in the Centre.

Pesto is an adorable little restaurant for tiny folk. I am a giant that towers over them and thus am in need of bigger portions, luckily the kind staff at the restaurant quickly inform you that all the dishes are a bit smaller than you're used to. There's lots to choose from so embrace your tapas loving inner child and pick yourself at least 3 dishes. If you don't you may be disappointed at the demo of a meal placed before you. With lots of choice, each one being delicious, pesto offers a unique experience that gives you the chance to try lots in one go. As a giant I would definitely recommend. Four Italian hand gestures out of 5 Italian hand gestures. 👌👌👌👌

A trip to the Trafford centre with the kids, we visited Pesto! First time here and it was ok. The food was tasty but the portions were very small, it was reflected in the price once we'd seen the portion size but it was too late by then! The food was Luke warm when it arrived too! Had 2 hungry children afterwards despite ordering deserts also! The staff were courteous and helpful, and food came pretty quickly considering the number of people dining there! I'm not sure we'd visit again to be honest with the choice of places to eat! As I said it was ok, nothing special but certainly wasn't the worst!

Been here a couple of times and it’s great. Very reasonable prices and food was tasty. I usually find Italian food quite bland, however the food here was spot on. The service was good, the staff were friendly and attended to us well. The £10.95 menu where you get 3 starters is a great value for money. The main reason I like this place is because there are plenty of V options! Most Italians don’t tend to have as much of a variety in the Vegetarian section. One of my favourite places to eat at, at the Trafford Centre.

Visited Pesto @trafford centre 3.10.21 this was my first visit to this restaurant. The staff was very welcoming directed my self and friends to a good table. The waiters are very attentive taking our order promptly. It took awhile for our food to arrive however it was well worth the wait . The dishes 🍽🍺🍷 we had were tasty and freshly cooked. Prices are reasonable . There are customer toilets 🚻 and there is good wheelchair ♿access. I'd recommend visiting this eatery of at Trafford Centre 👍

I ate with my daughter at The Trafford Centre restaurant on a Wed evening at 5pm. The pricing and the menu tempted us in, but as is often the case, once we had been fed we were pretty much ignored. No offers for another drink or any other food. We caught someone’s eye and requested a glass of water,… no water ever turned up. Plates were not cleared from the table and again, after much waiting, we managed to catch someone’s eye and request the bill. Still no bill… sorry Pesto… poor service so no tips. Disappointed.

U need to understand a bit of italian or have google on ur hands(duh) to understand the menu. The waitress was a wonderful person. Explained everything so we could make a decision. My family and I really like the food here. But I do have an issue with the restaurant. We are a family of 5 now pre lockdown the will use the tables at the front of the restaurant for bigger groups. However now they have the tables dressed to use but won't let you use them. They make life hard for the customer that does not fit in with there seating plans by actually not releasing those tables. They say it's because they don't have enough staff. The place is always busy so take on more staff and open the tables. Not rocket science and the money they must be losing by not making use of these tables is ridiculous.

This is our go to place in the Traffotd Centre although this time it was exceptionally busy and a couple of dishes were not upto the usual standard being cold, although changed quickly when we brought it to the attention of the brilliant staff. All in all though great food and staff and exceptional value for money. We also liked being told there was a wait for food of about 30-35 mins which in reality was 15-20.

It is our family’s favourite place. Our favourite dish is the ribs. It is ordered every time. It also has baby’s toilet and larger space than any other restaurants in intu Trafford centre. The tables next to the main entrance has very good view over the grand hall. The only issue is the waiting queue will be very long in peak time.

Restaurant was understaffed with only one waiter catering to more than 5 tables, so the wait time for service was long.Occasionally the bartender would also come to help serve food but she was pleasant. The food was very, very good. Italian Tapas for about £11 for 3 dishes and it was top quality. Service was mega-quick which I didn't really understand because we arrived just as the restaurant was opening for the day (in half term) and was almost instantly full soon after at 12:00 (people queuing to get in). Always a good sign in my experience. My kids loved it and when I asked them the "McDonalds or this" question, Pesto won hands down (thank goodness!). Basically it was ace. Defo will be going back. FWIW, the Chicken and Parma ham skewer (1 of the 3 dishes) was worth a tenner just on its own.

Not busy on a Wednesday night. Getting seated and service was pretty slow. 3 of us had the sharing plates menu and there was plenty for reasonable appetites. Some dishes were very good, some mediocre and some not so great. On the end there were probably rather too many flavours and they all blended into 1 a bit.

The food is decent, there are certain dishes that are definitely worth a try, however the service is extremely poor as for quality control in the kitchen we've found a few hairs in our garlic bread. You should try the meatballs and the pizza. If the staff are rude to you it's nothing personal they don't like anyone :)

We were enticed into this restaurant by the tapas menu as there was a large selection which seemed good value for money with their offer of 3 dishes for £9.95 or £11.95, depending on the chosen dishes. Between us we ordered 6 dishes to share, all of which delicious however there was some wait for them to arrive. Overall the experience was enjoyable with friendly staff and both my partner and I would return in the future and look forward to trying their other dishes.

For a restaurant chain in a shopping centre, this is not bad. I like the idea of their tapas like lunch menu as you get to sample taste a few different dishes. The decor is very quaint and has lots of lovely touches, such as vintage radiators. However, as you can expect it is not the best Italian food you will ever have, some of it was served only lukewarm and the service was mediocre.

Went in here as a group of 8, staff really friendly and happy to help. Food was really nice and for the price it was really good value for money. I had a visit to the restrooms which were very clean, my rule is if the toilets are clean the kitchen is clean. They also have a disabled access toilet in their unit. Ambiance is fantastic, with a relaxed atmosphere which is great for s leisurely catch up. I'd highly recommend the mushroom bruschetta. Some of the pasta dishes were under seasoned and there's no salt at the table, but the waitress was more than happy to provide some when asked.

Ahead of a trip to Italy with my family we popped in for some Italian tasters, and all our plates were very tasty so gives us something to look forward to. Nice atmosphere, and service was of a high quality. It was a busy day and we didn't have to wait too long to be seated.

A large dining area, so easier to get a table at busy times. The food is served in a tapas style, ie. numerous smaller dishes rather than one large meal. There's a good selection, including veggie dishes made using veggie cheese, all tasting great. Only slight quibbles would be that food wasn't quite as hot as it could be, and so because of the nature of the meals, by the time you're on your second dish it's becoming slightly luke warm. Also the lighting is quite bright, giving a dining room kind of feel rather than restaurant. Still, I would recommend it, and it isn't over priced.

Loved the small tapas style meals!..you can pick one or more dishes to try which I thought was great! The king prawn linguini is to die for!!... It's a restaurant that's that bit different, only complaint.. No desserts on menu without nuts! (except ice cream!).. Not good for my friend who has a severe nut allergy!... But over all.. I was here at the weekend with my 8 year old son and we absolutely loved it. The idea of an Italian Tapas is quite unique but it definitely works. We tried the Pizza (which I felt was as close to what you would get in Italy as I've tasted), the Bruschetta and the Bolognes, all dishes went down a treat. Not to forget the drink, I had a lemonade which was the freshest drink I've ever had. How do you do that? Please send me a quick "how to" guide:) We were served in perfect time and had an extremely courtious and friendly waiter. The price was very reasonable for the service and quality of food. When we're back in Manchester, we'll definitely go back. My son gave you a 10 out of 10 score... I've gone with 5 stars! Keep up the good work

I loved the tapas idea for italian food small dishes so i could try different th8ngs i had 4 fish tapas dishes and they were all delisious, we had a very sweey waiter boris who was very helpfull hard working and took all my chatter on the chin with a big smile. I thinlk its a family run place as i met mum too. Hard working family our waiter has made my hubby and myself want to return to enjoy the food again, so thank you all for that. Feel like this place is in need of a makeover as it looks a bit tired and scruffy. The food was okay but nothing special. Service slow but that could be because they sat us away from everyone else and almost completely out of sight of staff. We had to go the bar to order coffees and get the bill. For the price range and style, our experience over at the Pesto of Trafford Centre was good, but not great. Though the waitresses are very helpful, friendly and caring overall, the kitchen failed to meet our expectations. The incident - funny for us - not too much for the guests next to us - happened, that the chicken wings weren't cleaned properly and therefore it appeared as though pieces of hair (or similar ew) covered our spicy wings. If you didn't come prepared with a skinning knife - I would not recommend the chicken wings.
