Exceptional Food! My family have been coming to the Italian Job for over 25 years now and it's always been great. The staff are friendly always look after us. I love the family atmosphere of the restaurant. It's child friendly and the fish tank always keeps my nieces happy. There's a nice ambience for date night also. If you love authentic Italian food then definitely come here, I'm sure you'll love it!

Love this place came tonight the staff are great, Tony and Yolanda and sue are so professional and made a huge fuss of my baby. The owner came for a chat and a laugh what a lovely man. Also his young son was working hard and very polite and professional. The chef even sent over some pasta for my baby to try also got a bit of ice cream as a treat for my baby which again was a thoughtful and kind gesture. The staff all work hard and nothing is too much trouble they are friendly and courteous. The food is great and always hot and fresh when it arrives. Great value for money and a fantastic atmosphere. Love this place ❤️ xx

First time diner on Saturday. The place was very busy, and the staff handled everything perfectly. Food was great, service impeccable. 4 to our table and each of us got our food at the same time. We were really surprised at our bill and thought they'd left items off. A great experience. Recommended.

It was a busy evening but we got served in reasonable time. Beer nicely chilled. Starters were OK. Garlic bread was tasty bit too much sauce on the prawn cocktail. Calzone pizza was yummy. Young man was a bit keen to take our pint glasses away without checking if we wanted another drink.

Had starters & mains here this evening. We had chicken in garlic mushroom sauce & asked for extra garlic it came and we requested some extra garlic the waiters came with 2 extra pots of creamy garlic sauce it was amazing. What a fabulous birthday celebration for my uncle. The restaurant catered for around 70 people, we had all of upstairs. Food was brilliant, so was the service, also all the staff where so nice and friendly. Great place. Highly recommend a visit. Xx

This is a real traditional Italian family run restaurant, the portion size was plentiful and the quality more than I remembered. Can get quite noisy when there is a birthday party aswell but what got me was when I was served a really bad tangy stale orange juice that I could smell was stale just from it sat on the table! Apart from that, the staff was polite and welcoming but unfortunately I wouldn't go back!

I first visited here in 1978 when it first opened and ate here regularly until 1985 until leaving Urmston never having a bad meal it was always fantastic. My connection with Urmston has been rekindled as my stepdaughter has moved here recently. Today was my first visit since then and apart from the place being much bigger nothing has changed the food and staff were brilliant. To finish off my meal I had the ice cream gateaux which was on the menu back then amazing, brought back so many great memories. Thank you, you have more than survived the test of time and covid! Congratulations and thank you for bringing back happy memories we will be back. X

First time visit. The staff, food, atmosphere was absolutely lovely. Came here for my sister in laws 40th birthday meal. Only downside, we asked for a 10 minute break between starter and main and unfortunately this wasn't communicated. Amazing restaurant. Friendly staff and it is easily accessible for disabled people. Quick service and Delicious food. I honestly cannot find anything to complain about. They even gave us a free desert for the birthday girl and gave the kids and the adults (who are basically just big kids) a lollipop on the way out. I would 10/10 recommend them to everyone.

Always get a gorgeous meal at Italian job, well worth the travel from Middleton. The steak is amazing, best I've ever tasted no fat and always cooked to perfection for me. I've had pasta and pizzas over the years and they also never disappoint. Staff are lovely. Can't rate it enough if I had to give a bad point it would be that they need pavlova on the dessert menu, that would make it the ultimate dining out experience for me.

Booked a table upstairs for 30. Not a problem for them and there was plenty more room besides for far larger parties. Nothing was too much trouble when arranging menus, changes to menus, changes to numbers, cake, table setting up etc....... Made me really relaxed knowing everything was under control. The party menu has a good choice on it as is very well priced. The drinks menu also has a good range and is well priced. The staff were great and so too the food and service. We had a great having a dance at the in-house disco too. We would absolutely recommend The Italian Job.

I am only giving it a 3 because the food was lovely when we finally got it. Very short staffed for amount of people eating there. We were served our main meal without any side orders 1 in our party had eaten his whole pizza before we even got our side orders. And we were not asked if we wanted our main re cooked sat there for over 10 mins trying to get someone's attention.

Beautiful little place. Very welcoming and smiling and friendly. Staff will let you order when you are ready you won’t be forgotten about and you won’t be left to one side. They will even play music that you like if they have it and if it fits obvs ;) Food is extremely tasty and fresh, you can even bring it home if you can’t finish the great portion size. That’s 5* in itself ;) Coffee is great too. All fresh desserts in a glass display so you can have a little peep at what you might want next. Such a quaint place when you first walk in and you can sit and watch the food being cooked at the back or a quiet more romantic seat near the window if you like. Larger room in the back if you want a little more room and a bit brighter. Love this place.

I'm not a huge fan of Italian food, but my meal was amazing! The sauce on the peppered steak was spot on, and I can say, hand on heart, the cheesecake dessert was the best dessert I've ever had! Friendly staff and efficient service. Only minor negative was the sides (chips) came when we had almost finished the meal, but the fact they were so nice made up for it.

Nice people and service but not a great take on Italian food. Risottos made from long grain rice - not risotto rice, pizza bases clearly from frozen and not freshly made or baked. Clearly been around for years with loyal customer base who rate 4-5* and have very little knowledge of Italian cuisine

This is a genuine Italian restaurant, run by genuine Italians. It is long established in Urmston, over 40 years I think. The staff are warm and friendly, will modify dishes to suit. The chef is brilliant, and it is almost like eating at home with family. They remember you even if you haven't been for months. The food is lovely, cooked from scratch, piping hot and I love everything about this place.

I love the Italian Job. It's been around for donkeys years. It's always busy because it's brilliant. Excellent food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Gets a little loud when it's full (tiles floors and no soft furnishings) and the chairs are a little uncomfortable but on the whole it's great.

Just returned after enjoying a party for my friends 50th birthday party. Just superb on every level. After an extremely warm welcome, the food arrived. Most of us chose from the set menu. OMG!!!! Well done Italian / Job Well Done Booked and dined here tonight in celebrating a youngsters birthday. Restaurant bustling, plenty of staff, really friendly greet & dead friendly service and made our nippers feel very welcome in an essentially grown-ups environment. I think it's decent value & our grub was well gobbled up by all. This is an Urmston staple (seemingly been here forever, and I first came in here over 20 yrs ago), yet it still gets hammered & feels like a real treat. This town is thriving and dining is very competitive so I commend the Italian Job for keeping it fun, inviting and really good quality. Kudos to them & many thanks for making our 7 year old daughters birthday special meal really memorable.

We've been visiting the Italian Job for years, and we're lucky to have such a great little restaurant a short stroll from home. It had a bit of a wobble a few years back where things went off a little, but for the last year or two it has been back to its best. Great food and service, and staff who have been there for years who remember you when you return. The garlic bread is to die for, and the presentation of the meat dishes in particular is excellent.

Lovely atmosphere. Always enjoy my meal. Food made to order. Pizzas homemade are gorgeous. Staff always friendly when i go in a big party. In a smaller group can be alittle hit and miss with service. Still think its best Italian in Urmston as staff do make your time there enjoyable.
