Nice restaurant. It was quiet when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Sadly, the staff would let us sit outside because they said they couldn’t see us. However, the food arrived relatively quickly. The food was okay, although Pizza Express and Zizzi’s both do better dishes. The food was cheap with the set menu. I probably wouldn’t visit again, as it didn’t seem particularly amazing and there are lots of other food options nearby.

We just visited this branch of Bella Italia and massive thank you to Lisa and Armand, who looked after us so well. Lisa was absolutely amazing, very friendly and extremely hospitable. Armand was great and provided a fast and efficient service, seeing as the children in our party were hungry and tired. Food was great (highly recommend the mushroom crostini and the chicken Milanese). The kitchen team looked professional and food was served in a timely manner. Definitely would revisit when back in the area

It was my daughters 11th Birthday on Sunday and we took 5 of her friends out for dinner. We had such a lovely time. I have been to many Bella Italia's over the years and this was by far our best experience. The service was fantastic, we had 2 waiters and both couldn't of been more helpful. They even made a fuss of my daughter and brought a candle out in her desert and sang Happy Birthday! The food was delicious. Will definitely go back . Thank you for making her day so special.

We were advised food likely to be half an hour so to order both starter and main course at same time. Our mains arrived but no starter. We asked the waitress who then promptly got them. They looked like they had been sat for awhile. Waitress grated parmasan for my friends but not me although id said yes. She rushed off and and esd gone. Meal its self was fine.

Excellent, friendly and welcoming service. On the whole it was great food but the bruchetta wasn't too my liking- too much style over substance, half cherry tomatoes with a little basil on toasted ciabatta doesn't make a bruchetta for me. The vegetarian pizza was great though, nice sweet onion and peppers, delicious.

What a curious place. I had a gift voucher to use so I elected to eat here. For some reason I keep going back here despite always getting some low level attitude from staff, my friend is very particular about her food and is unafraid to speak up, and this led to a uneasy exchange. Nothing serious but uneasy. Maybe I keep going back _for_ the attitude! Nevertheless it is an OK place to eat. Until the next time.

Service was excellent. The calzone was one of the best I've had. Deserts were excellent. Pricing was pretty on point for the quality. Only negative was the quantity of prawns in my King Prawn Tempura. 5 is not enough for £7.19 although they were very tasty. I'd happily visit again.

For a Saturday night (well 5.30pm) this resteraunt was great. It was packed out but we had our reservation and the staff and meal were brilliant. Expectations exceeded for sure. Staff worked hard and were attentive to us. Especially as we were in with an under 2. Ive been before and it was good. This time we were a party of 9. Two of us were served a starter which was not as described in the menu. These were taken back and were told to just serve all the mains instead. We waited over an hour after that for our food! Trouble is we had told them we had to be at the theatre (we had arrived two hours beforehand so we weren't rushing the meal). The food was good when it arrived but it didnt give us much time to eat ☹

I nearly always have the Marco Polo for Mains, as I have quite a sweet tooth and find it delicious, but all of the food is delicious. We will be back again very soon.

Good food served promptly by competent staff. We felt that we need to remove a star because of the strange layout of the restaurant. The tables were very close to eachother and the bar area. The noise from the bat was so loud that we could barely understand eachother. Otherwise a decent no frills dining experience.

We had a glass of the house red each which was also excellent and the waiter who served us was lovely. It took forever to get a drink, dirty plates not moved until we asked. We weren't offered dessert menu or asked if we wanted coffee, I think they just wanted the tables freed up as soon as possible.

Very impressed. Went to the pantomime at Milton Keynes theatre and afterwards tried to get a meal. Most restaurants were either closed or closing. Went to Bella Italia which had only a couple of people left eating but we're happy to serve 6 of us and the food was very good and the staff very nice.

Bella Italia is not the place you go for an up market meal, but it isn't trying to be. If you want delicious Italian food, speedy service and reasonable prices then this is exactly what you get. There are other places out there that may be better, cheaper or possibly tastier, but this is a perfect mix of all three for a pre theatre meal.

Took a girl there this evening for a first date. Beautiful location in the heart of a quiet market place. Before I walked in I knew I made the right choice. Beautiful spot if you're looking for something not too formal but with enough class and casualness. For starters we had calamari which was spot on the. Both went with the carbonara which again was perfect!! Had the chocolate melted cookie for dessert. Service was great and only waited about 10 minutes for the food. Would definitely recommend to anyone....get deals through Groupon. 2 course meal for 2 for £18.
