My friends took me here last night for a pre birthday celebration meal. None of us had eaten here before but reviews were good so we decided to go and glad to say we were not disappointed. Great food and drinks menu and a cozy atmosphere all counts for a great evening catching up over delicious food. My choice for starters was the patte, followed by my favourite main in an Italian (but something I rarely have as I'm trying to loose a few pounds), namely pasta carbonara which was simply nothing short of exquisite. Dessert was a delicious Italian gateaux which was a treat in itself. Great drink choices too. I enjoyed more than a few double pink gins. Service was flawless and management and staff very friendly. We will definitely make a return visit here

My husband picked this place and when reading the menu I wasn't sure if it was a real Italian or not but actually the food exceeded my expectations. I had the capesante (scallops) for starter and the seafood linguine for main. Above all the starter was AMAZING. Also my husband was really pleased with his choices. I'm Italian myself so I can tell there are some differences with the traditional Italian way of cooking certain traditional dishes but if anything the chef has taken a personal twist and modernised some of the old school recipes. I was really impressed. Also the waiter was a really nice friendly guy and he made 2 excellent proper espresso coffees (the real Italian way :-D). Absolutely recommended!

Pleasant modern interior, a good staff, non-intrusive music (and no Papa Loves Mambo thank god). Then the food, which was out of this world. Two starters, two mains, bottle of wine, £60 Inc. tip. Couldn't ask for more.

I stumbled on this undiscovered gem right in Newcastle Central.The decor was unique and incredible. Everything I tried was bursting with flavor.. The food was cooked to perfection. Make sure to save room for dessert. Easily earned their 5 stars!

Wonderful Italian restaurant in the centre of Newcastle. The menu is wonderful and the service is spectacular. You’ll leave satisfied and happy, and that’s the main thing. Oh and the wine list is superb.

Had a wonderful meal here. The wine was chilled and good quality. The staff were helpful, welcoming and attentive without being overwhelming. The food- I had asparagus and pancetta pasta which the waitress described simply as “carbonara”- well, it was the loveliest pasta dish I’ve had for years. With a “green salad”- sounds simple, but was served in a beautiful dressing and had olives, artichokes and lots of other other ingredients. My husband had a chicken dish which was also lovely. The atmosphere was just right, modern but nicely lit and unsurprisingly fairly full of customers. Well worth a visit. Do go.

We only had a main meal here but it was outstanding. My carbonara was the best I've eaten and my husband said his calzone was his best to date (and he eats one in every Italian restaurant). The waiter was very helpful and chatty. We are recommending this restaurant to friends and family and will be returning and going for more courses.

Had a dinner with a business colleague. From the initial greeting, through to leaving, the service was excellent. We were given time to talk, order, ask questions and get recommendations. Food was first class and the Sardinian wine was wonderful. Thoroughly recommend.

Called in here, ad hoc, on a Monday evening and were given a warm welcome. Beautiful restaurant, decor is lovely, service superb. The restaurant itself was great. The food was great. However. The card machine wouldn't work. My card and Google pay kept declining because of a connection error with the hand held device. After being prompted to go run and get cash at an ATM I then had to pay the £1.99 withdrawal fee which for their issue seems to be something I shouldn't really be paying. Simply restarting the card machine would refresh the connection to the router. Come on its in the user manual for the device!!

Arrived in Newcastle late and with a newborn found very few places suitable to eat. Nico the staff member was extremely accommodating and his service was first class. Food and drink were delicious.

I recommend this restaurant if you want authentic Italian food ,the ambience is love and staff very attentive. I had the mussels and they are delicious and the we both had pizza which was excellent thin ,well fired,and very tasty.you can also add toppings with no extra charge.if you like Italian food whilst in Newcastle then you must visit only5 minutes from station .

My sister and I like to enjoy a catch up with good food and a good ambience. This restaurant meets all.the criteria Good, friendly attentive staff - great food Good price. We love the Insieme in Seahouses and were very happy it is also open in Newcastle. Lovely food and great service. Will become another must visit when we go to Newcastle. The seabass with seafood was great, as was the Capesante. My wife loves the Gemberoni Infuso
