First visit, very pleasant experience. Service was great and menu choices great too. Food served was lovely, plenty there bonus they had peroni on draught. The only thing I wasn't keen.on was the lighting and decor which was a bit dated needed a lick of paint maybe. I would definitely return though.

Place was nice, food arrived quickly and staff were polite. Was quiet when we arrived and the place is pretty roomy so didn't feel stressed. The fish was excellent, I had the calzione which I really enjoyed however perhaps a nice tomato based sauce poured over world have made it even better. Recommended.

Oli and Joe's is a family friendly restaurant with lovely staff. The food is good value for money, with plenty of choice off the regular menu as Well as the set menus. There is a choice of pizza, pasta etc. The meal sizes are adequate but not huge portions. My only complain would be that the drinks can be quite expensive. Overall, tasty meal out and a pleasant experience

The best Italian meal I've ever had and I've been to Italy! The food was absolutely delicious and at a very good price! The menu had so many options for pizza pasta and fish dishes! The staff were wonderful, they were really kind and friendly! I really recommend their bubblegum ice cream dessert with popping candy, as it was amazing! Would fully recommend, and will definitely go back!

Lovely restaurant! Had a fab meal in there. Food was served quickly, very tasty, and the staff were so friendly. The venue is warm (on a cold January night!) and beautifully decorated (it's like a tardis inside when you go through the doors). Very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit. Absolutely love this place, been 30+ times and we can't stop going! The food is extremely aesthetically pleasing and tastes just as good as it looks, the service is exceptional and the staff are very friendly, good with kids too! Absolutely Amazing Place. We had a 3 course lunch and it was perfect in every way. Great service, fabulous food and lovely staff. This lovely restaurant has a great atmosphere and we shall definitely return.

Just a spontaneous visit as we were driving through Gateshead. Very pleasant little restaurant, with cosy decor. The food was fantastic quality. The food wait time was a little while, parties who had just sat down were being served before us. Also at the end of the meal when we received our bill, a waitress came over and added an extra £5.95 as she "got it wrong". Would like to go back but maybe on a week day.

Called in here with my friend & her neice and had a lovely night. Great food, service and ambience. Very competitive on price but quality does not reflect the price in any way. We'll certainly make a return visit. We'll done and keep up the good work. When a restraunt first opens it needs to set high standards to attract customers and to attain positive comments, reviews, and feedback and it's imperative that standards are maintained high at all times.

My first visit to this particular restaurant.. Nicely done out, friendly. Ordered a pint of lemonade for £2.80,and had to query the size... Was told that it was a pint as the half glass was smaller!!. My starter was a prawn cocktail, tiny very cold prawns in a sauce over lettuce. £4.50.My friend had black pudding with peppercorn sauce, 2 slices and sauce a touch of salad £5.50 However our main course was plenty and tasty. A Calzone with bolognese over and a Pasta Signora. Unlikely to be returning as was very ill that evening... I suspect the frozen prawn.

Me and my husband visited Oli & Joe's at Sunnside tonite for the first time by recommendation, and it didn't dissappoint. I had the tomato garlic bread which was divine and hubby had potato skins which were also delicious. Mains were calzone and pasta joe, which were brought home in a doggy bag as I was stuffed. Thoughly recommend this place and the staff were lovely, especially Phil who was very friendly and made sure everything was lovely
