Y. H.Amazing pizza! This is honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!!
The dough tastes fabulous, and as much as topping you want for only £12, what a bargain!! The size of the pizza is great as well! My favourite toppings are pulled pork, bbq chicken, meatballs and broccoli. The Mac and cheese is decent.
Very friendly service, staffs are welcoming.
They have a lovely open kitchen and the vibe of pizza punks is amazing! I highly recommend it his place if you fancy pizza!
J. S.Great little place which my daughter loved as she could choose as many toppings as she wanted at no extra cost! We booked as wasn't sure how busy it would be on a Tuesday teatime. It was pretty full and it was nice to be able to see the pizzas being made. Lovely friendly staff, service a bit slow due to new staff but no problem and they made sure that we were ok for drinks whilst waiting. Pizzas did not disappoint and would definitely recommend.

There were 7 of us and one of the pizzas came about 5 minutes after the others and they knocked it off of the bill. When I got the bill, they had also taken off my son's dinner and drink because it was his birthday (20, not a little child) Plus we had taken a cake which they brought out singing happy birthday' and provided plates and forks. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, great service, great tunes, great food.

Was sat very quickly with no wait time however once sat down the staff quite vacant , I struggled to get their attention even when trying to pay and request a dessert menu .
One of my items was missing with wasn't a problem as it took too long to flag someone down anyway .
They still had it on my bill at the end but removed it once I pointed it out but didn't seem to see it as a problem .
I will visit again , maybe they were all having a bad day and I still left a tip but the too cool for school approach to service isn't my thing at all .

I seem to be eating an inordinate amount of Neapolitan sourdough across the country and feel a bit guilty at neglecting my beloved Rudy’s in Manchester. But to use common parlance, it was always going to be an open relationship.
This parlour embraces its punk vibe whole heartedly with appropriate decor but with splendiferous drink options that Johnny Rotten might turn his nose up at.
They eschew the wood fired orthodoxy in favour of gas and it makes no significant difference to my tastebuds. The issue was always a matter of heat and not smokiness. I found the dough lovely and light with the sourdough on the milder side. I suspect that they’re using mozzarella di latte di bufala as the cheese is chewier than Fior di Latte, but I could be mistaken.
The crust did not have much leoparding and was on the smaller side for my liking. I like big pillowy cornicione to soak up EEVO.
I sadly missed out on the specials which is where a pizzeria gets to shine and show it’s mettle.
The staff appear happy and that translates to good service.
M. N.For a busy Saturday evening the service was decent if not amazing however the food was brilliant. Zero complaints. We ate off the specials menu but it all sounds / looks / smells amazing.
Tables do feel very tightly packed in which would be the only real negative and it for that reason the place is very loud but that feels like nit-picking. Would certainly go back for another go at the menu!

j. b.Came here after afternoon theatre so early for us at 5pm...but he did have the Newcastle match to get to🤔😄 Liked the fact that you could get pizzas with unlimited toppings so had chicken, artichoke, mushrooms and onion. Did want broccoli but they'd run out. Daz had 1 off menu. Very tasty and didn't scrimp on the toppings either. Chicken was a bit dry. Brought some of mine home as they had boxes at the ready so obs a lot of people do the same. £12 per pizza and could see them all being made fresh as open kitchen.

Only spoilt by the waitress who stood basically with her hip on our table, maybe 15 cm away from my sons face, resting herself by the till, on her personal mobile. Showed disrespect for people in the restaurant. Was not able to communicate either, and it felt like she didn't want to be there. Needs some.mpre training and maybe a pocketful of smiles would help. Such a shame as the other waitress (blue hair) was spot on!

E.Really great menu! Who knew you could have so many choices with just pizza and pasta.
You need to try the caramelised sriracha chicken wings! They are delicious and probably some of the best wings I’ve had.
The pizza dough is great and cooked well.
We also had some Mac and cheese to start which was again delicious.
The cocktails also need a mention as they were well presented and delicious. The atmosphere was really good and they played good music.
I wish I lived in Newcastle so I could go again.
My only criticism is the garlic Mayo isn’t very garlicky.

The pizza was made and delivered to the table well within 10 minutes. Awesome service by the server too, she was friendly and prompt. A.The first pizza place I've been to which allows you to choose as many toppings on your pizza as you want without charging you additionally and still the pretty big individual pizza is only £11 so that's pretty decent. Also, they have loads of vegan options and toppings so no worries if you're plant based :D really recommend

M. L.This would have made my 4th visit to this restaurant and all I can say I’d every time the food has been incredible. Perfect pizza bases and a dizzying array of topping choices make for an incredible meal. I’ve took different groups of friends here each time I came as some where visiting from other cities and some just hadn’t heard of this place - every time we left the restaurant they’d say how incredible the food was. The food was so good infancy I had to thank the chef Andrew for doing such a great job. The waiting staff are very attentive and friendly too.
The bottom line is if you’re ever in Newcastle and want a guaranteed quality meal I can’t recommend this place enough.

The interior design and atmosphere is fantastic, you've got this charming mix of neon lights, old brickwork and massive wood stove that makes it a great venue.
The waiters are friendly and characterful and the food was interesting and fun. The pricing is actually cheap for a restaurant and really delicious. You can see the pizzas being made by the staff too!
For our main I got the hamburger, which is actually a pizza. I was really pleasantly surprised. The barbeque sauce on the pizza (or whatever it was) was delicious.
Will be coming back.

They are really great value for money, even when choosing your own toppings and I've never had a bad pizza, even with some of my questionable topping combinations.
Their popularity is reflected in the delivery times during busy periods and Deliveroo has let them down on occasion but it still doesn't put me off returning.

P. L.Pizza Punks is an industrial-looking restaurant, with exposed concrete and corrugated metal ceiling, lots of neon, and a central open kitchen. The staff are all friendly, and the menu has plenty of flexibility. You can choose one of their own pizzas, or build your own with unlimited toppings for a fixed price. I chose garlic bread to start, a salami pizza, and a pint of wheat beer. Everything was nice, and although the pizza was good I've definitely had better - the dough seemed quite "flat" . Price was good for what I received. I'd go back if I returned to Newcastle in the future, but it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had.

D.Ordered from here twice, first time fantastic. Second time picked chicken topping and got mostly skin and gristle rather than chicken, made me feel a bit sick, only ate one slice. I probably won't spend my cash with them again but if you do, don't get chicken.

It was just as good!The staff are all really helpful and friendly, the food was served quickly, and there are countless unique pizzas and drinks options.
This was my first restaurant visit during lockdown. All tables were well spaced out so social distancing was in place. Had delivery service recently as well and it was equally as good. Highly recommended for a visit or at home.

I was introduced to Pizza Punks by a friend when we ordered in, as she was impressed with their gluten free offerings. They offer most of their pizza options with a GF base, which is a god-send for pizza lovers with the misfortune of being allergic to gluten. Several months later and my waistline is wishing she'd never introduced me! I have ordered delivery many times through their website which is effecient and easy to the use, the staff are so accomadating with any additional requests put on the order comments or we have also called them a few times to check things and they are always happy to generously help. The punkd up pizzas are incredible: its like toppings jenga at times! Unlimited toppings for no extra cost is an absolute steal. The whole menu is really good value for money and the bundle deals they run on Mondays and Thursdays are incredible. The customer service is outstanding and I now will not order pizza from anywhere else in Newcastle! They once made a minor error on an order sending the wrong side dish, so we called to mention it and they were so apologetic and within 15mins the items were delivered and some. The pizzas are always hot when they get here, always made with top quality and fresh ingredients. I also had the pleasure of sitting in their restaurant during the eat out to help out scheme and it was a great experience. Very helpful and friendly staff again (can you sense a theme here!) and you can see the pizzas being made in the open kitchen.

H. L.First time we got takeaway from here. I'm a key worker and got hugely delayed when getting my Covid vaccine so by the time I got there for my pizza (an hour late) they had remade it for me and my family. I was so sorry for being late but they were so kind about it that I burst into tears in the car after them being so nice after a long, hard day.
The pizzas were pounced on when I got home so I didn't get any photos but they were really delicious and my son who doesn't like cheese on pizzas ate his in record time.
They also accommodated my allergies and made sure that my pizza was suitable.

T. C.This was our first visit to this establishment. The decoration is very industrial in style and has good use of lighting. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Although the menu was not extensive the food was good ( one of us had the build your own pizza that was novel!) and the food preparation area was open so that you could see what was going on. So why only three stars? On a very cold day an hot drink would have been very welcomed but we were told that the establishment did not serve hot drinks (!!!!!) and we visited around 3.30pm and the toilets were far from inviting ( enough said!). On checking the cleaning rota displayed we could see the toilets had not been checked since around 10am and it looked like it too. Overall a real shame as this establishment clearly has the potential to be very successful!

The first time I ate here I was blown away!!! And I could actually eat the food without it ruining my life afterwards! The pizza literally tastes the same if not better than what I remember!! Service was prompt, our drinks order was taken pretty much as we were seated, we then had a good chance to read the menu, after which our orders were taken.
I opted to create my own, you get to choose your base, sauce and toppings (as many as you like from a wide variety) I opted for candied bacon, caramelized onion, red pepper and chorizo, my good lady friend chose from the Staff faves, Messy Mexican.
The boy stuck with his usual margarita, which was generously covered in cheese to the point it dropped off when he picked a slice up, which he did find a little annoying lol
We all agreed the pizzas were really good but sorry if we're honest not the best we've ever had, we wouldn't fault this place tho as the food and drinks were good and staff great and would certainly try again.

It's not a hard restaurant to miss, unmistakably recognisable by meters of pink Neon Signs and very large Anarchy logos the restaurant was full of character and the amazing visual aethetic of the restaurant coupled with the banging tunes playing inside of the restaurant provided an excellent atmosphere inside the restaurant.
Met by some very friendly and helpful staff, I ordered an amazing and fully customisable pizza! For a great price, you could order a pizza, with any base, any sauce, any cheese and unlimited toppings from a list of what must have been at least 100 ingredients!
The pizza was excellent, I'd definitely recommend a sourdough base, it was delicious! And all of the brews, shakes and cocktails looked fabulous although I didn't get a chance to try them. The only major downside to the meal, was that they don't serve hot drinks, but for the pizza and the great menu, this was just a tiny upset to an almost perfect meal.

They were so apologetic we got it all for free! Amazing staff. Definitely will go again. Fantastic rustic atmosphere. Music was a bit loud but that's my only complaint. Wheelchair accessible although there didn't seem much clearance space around tables. I didn't chexk out the toilets. Easy to veganise.

Despite being tempted by the cheeseburger pizza (relish, meatballs and pickles) and the Mexican (covered in tortillas and sour cream), I played safe and went for pepperoni. What I got was a saucy, cheesy delight, with salty pepperoni and spicy njuda sausage.
Worth the stop? Definitely.

Pizza Punks is fairly new to Newcastle and has a simple concept - get a pizza for £10 and put whatever toppings you want on top of it. Aside from that there's a small selection of sides and desserts. Decent range of beers and wines too.
Our waitress, Rachel, was very helpful, and did her best to get as much nduja on top of my pizza as possible (she was let down by the kitchen).
Wouldn't call the pizza sourdough - it's not really a Neapolitan. This is much more like something from the likes of Grimaldi's in NYC, and to be honest although I saw a couple of chunks of wood in the oven the flames at the back really looked like it was gas powered. It made for a good pizza though, and the flexibility of topics from nduja through to mac and cheese, black pudding and doner meat, is the icing on the cake.
