Enjoyed the food-it’s amazing but actual atmosphere-no table covers,paper tissues just seemed a bit poor. Also waitress didn’t put water in my glass and didn’t fill up bowl with balsamic vinegar and oil. For prices like they have I think service and interior should be a bit higher quality.

Impressive if I made it at home, subpar for an Italian Restaurant. This was written during the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme and therefore food quality may be have been reduced but also required a reservation so restaurant should have been at manageable capacity. 2 people, seated quickly and presented 1 paper menu. When asking for another was informed that they had to discard menus so wished to use them sparingly (did still receive one)- just laminate them and wipe them down... All food was received in a reasonably timely manner with starters first then main. Starters: Garlic Bread Pizza and Garlic Butter Pawn. Pizza was decent size and tasted good. Prawns were overpriced (£10), sauce did not have enough butter and lacked salt. No salt was provided on the table till the main. Main: Penne with Mushrooms and Spinach and Pizza with spinach and an egg in it. Very good flavours in the pasta dish but the sauce was too thin, likely because the spinach seemed too wet! You are not supposed to be able to splash the sauce especially when the pasta is Penne! Pizza was terrible. Uncertain if a particular style but no crust, base was very uneven with poppadoms thickness on one side and naan thickness on the other, sauce was super dry and flavourless and it was topped with what I suppose were caramelized onions but they were still raw (translucent). Again lacked any salt. Meal came up to ~£55 reduced to ~£32. Did not order any dessert. Overall, I would be impressed had I made this at home for myself but was very poor quality for an Italian Restaurant.

I love this little place! Definitely one of Northampton's hidden gems. Family run restaurantant with great tasty food! I've been here on a number of occasions and enjoy it every time. Steak is amazing and so are the pasta & pizza dishes. They don't skim on the portions either! I see people eat in here alone and in couples or groups so great for everyone. A great little touch at the end of your meal (optional) is a lovely shot of Limon cello to clean your pallet. I recommend you visit here and check it out for yourself..I'll be returning again for sure!!

What a lovely restaurant this is! The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was excellent and the decor is lovely. 10/10 (Don't be put off by the grotty looking kebab takeaway on the ground floor, it's got nothing to do with the Italian restaurant upstairs.)

Amazing food every time we’ve been here. So much food and great value for money.. the staff are really friendly too. I often have the seafood Don Giovanni, which is packed with lots of different shellfish and not just prawns. My partner has the fillet steak and it’s perfect every time. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

We enjoyed a fantastic, authentically-Italian meal here last week. The early-bird menu is £13.50 for two courses. Not being keen on very spicy food, I was worried about the name "Cannelloni Vesuvio", so the waitress reassured me that they would adjust the seasoning just for me. (It was perfect). My wife's pizza crust was amazing, and the vegetables on it cooked to perfection. The tiramisu was exquisite. The staff were all taking their Covid regulations seriously. They made us feel safe, welcome and satisfied throughout. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Visited Sorrentino's whilst in Northampton for work. They were recommended by colleagues that live in the area and it was well worth the visit. Good selection of meal choices and the party I was with all enjoyed the food that was served. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the venue is a little small but the atmosphere was good in the venue. Exceptional. Went for the early bird meal which was really competitively priced and we were really happy with everything. Booked online via Facebook and received a quick and courteous response. On the day we were slightly late so rang ahead and told that it was no issue and no need to rush. Really warm greeting on arrival and *fantastic* service throughout the meal. The food was excellent and plentiful and we were never rushed, despite spending the best part of 2 hours there. My daughter couldn't finish her main so it was packaged up to take with us. I didn't think that an anniversary meal out with 2 young children tagging along would be an enjoyable experience, but I was wrong. Based on this visit, highly recommended - thank you for a wonderful evening.

The food on the plate was delicious and skillfully cooked. We had the sharing platter,which could have been hotter. With the several dishes arriving at the same time, the lovely food went cold quite quickly. The biggest issue last night was the pricing. They've increased the prices in the menu at the table but the menu in the window and on the website says different. We had to pay the higher amount. They did not honour the old price as advertised. Disappointed with this issue.

Went to this restaurant on Monday evening for my partner's birthday. I phone in the day to ask what the latest time would be that we could book a table for as we had to wait to get our baby daughter to sleep, they were very helpful and accommodating. The wine and food were both lovely and even though we were the last there we were by no means rushed. Will definitely be going again.

Bit of a hidden gem in the town. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you. Food is great quality and served quickly. Doesn't feel like you are being robbed as the portion size is decent. Staff are friendly, although the service isn't the quickest, and they try and do the most they can for you.

Honestly, without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant in Northampton by far!! The food is always incredible, it's the type of food that makes you close your eyes and make groaning noises because it tastes so good! The staff are extremely friendly and impressingly attentive, for example, I was drinking shorts, my first one came with a straw, I didn't use it. My second drink came without a straw but my partners did because she had used her straw. So someone noticed I wasn't using a straw and served me a perfect drink. I know it's a small thing but it shows the attention to detail. The fillet mignon with percini mushroom sauce was simply out of this world! The best steak I have ever eaten! Absolutely love thise Resturant and would recommend sorrentinos everytime!
