I've been going there for many years, it hasn't really changed still the best restaurant around. The steak is particularly good, service excellent, prices very reasonable and I always enjoy my visits there.

A few years ago a friend recommended this restaurant but I’d never got around to eating here. I wish I’d visited earlier, the food, atmosphere and staff were lovely. The portion sizes were good value for the price and I can’t wait to have the opportunity to eat here again. A very enjoyable evening and despite being filled to the rafters there was never any pressure to eat up and leave. Thanks for a great meal, see you again soon.

Sad to say it was very average. We visited for my wife's birthday after glowing reviews from friends and family. It was quite busy for 7pm on a Thursday but we didn't mind that. Our starters were, for the price, quite disappointing. My spicy 'king' prawns were tiny and lacked flavour, on a bed of wet leaves. My wife's antipasti was mostly salad with a few slices of meat. My wife ordered a special, a delicious-soundjng tomato prawn spaghetti. It turned out to be bland prawns in a tasteless sauce. My main was delicious, ham and cheese tortellini in a corbonara sauce. The staff were clearly too busy and took a while to collect our plates. They also didn't offer us the dessert menu or offer to bring the bill. We sat waiting for about 15 minutes, during which time one of the staff looked over at us a few times but didn't come over. In the end I had to ask for the bill at the bar. Considering the recommendations from friends we were really disappointed. Authentic, non-chain Italian restaurants are hard to find and we were hoping Luigi's would become our regular. We will try again another time, hopefully we have a better experience.

Absolutely amazing, a hidden gem. I must have driven past here a hundred times and never 'seen' it, until a friend suggested eating here. What a suggestion! The food is exceptional, and very reasonably priced as well. The restaurant was absolutely packed by 8 on a midweek evening and I'm not surprised. Despite how busy it was, service was great and waiting times for food weren't long at all. Definitely recommended!

Excellent service and food. We were a big table and food came out almost instantaneously for all of us. Great that no one had to wait long for others to get theirs. Staff friendly and attentive. We asked to change the rice to tagliatelle on the beef stroganoff and nothing was problem.

What a little gem of a place. Amazing food, with a coeliac and a vegan in our party and the options were refreshingly good. Great value as well. Had it not been for a particularly rowdy bunch also being there when we were it would have been a 5star. Certainly try them out if you are in the area.

An old favourite of mine. Never had a disappointing meal here. The steaks are always perfect as well as the pasta. It's getting a bit old and could do with a decor update but don't let that put you off. Food quality is always impeccable.

This was a great find. Good value for money and lovely food. We went on a Thursday and it was packed- always a good sign. Although I like really solid arancini, theirs was nice, the pasta was excellent as were the puddings. The house wine was good too. I would go again. Try the cannoli!

I love Luigi's and have been a customer for several years. The staff are friendly & polite and the food is usually spot on. Bit disappointed to have a steak served on a cold plate and what seemed like reheated veg. I appreciate how busy you were but please don't let your standards drop £18.95 for a steak in Arnold is not cheap. Plus, what happened to my favourite honey flavoured carrots? :-(

Absolutely fantastic food, couldn’t recommend it more highly. Friendly staff, and pricing unbelievable for such high quality food. Doesn’t look much from the outside, but it’s about service and quality of food clearly that matters for this superb restaurant. Make sure you book in advance, popular every day of the week, not surprising as again, superb food. Love going here, have taken lots of friends when they stay with us, everyone has enjoyed it, will go many many more times I’m sure.

The best Italian restaurant I've been in the UK! And just 10 minutes from our house in Gedling! We went yesterday for my 68th birthday. Excellent service, food is not only gorgeus but is genuinely Italian. Homemade pasta, real antipasti, cozy place,what else do you need? I had my best birthday meal in years. We didn't know about this hidden gem in Arnold, but no doubt we will repeat the experience soon. Please go.

My family and I have been going to Luigi's for over 25 years and have never had a bad experience. We eat out on a regular basis and this restaurant is by far the best anywhere around the Nottinghamshire area. The staff are friendly polite make you feel welcome and the food is second to none. A bit expensive for an above average experience. The place started to become full and our orders got forgetten and delayed. The pizzas were fine, although the crust could have been a little softer.

This was my first visit to Luigi's. It is located on the main street in Arnold so is easy to find. It could do with a little TLC inside and out as it looks and feels quite dated, but the food is good. You'll find all of the usual Italian staples here, and it's very unfussy. Prices are good, and I enjoyed my meal. By the end of my visit the place was getting busy and it appears to have lots of regular customers. If I'm back in the area again I'm sure I'll return.

Luigi's is a wonderful little establishment located in Arnold, Nottingham. The food was great when I came by to it (Pizza). It would help to book your table before arrival in advance to avoid any delays in getting seated. If you love Italian food, you're sure to enjoy eating here.
