Now where to start. We came here because the first time was amazing, the vibes were on point, being both casual and comfortable, while keeping the essence of being a nice restaurant. We can say the same for our second visit, the food was on point, especially the pizza, being one of my boyfriends favourite places to eat pizza. The pizza is thin and crispy, great flavour and great size. Mac and cheese is delicious. Only thing were the potato wedges. They are cooked twice which sounds amazing, but they were a little bit dry, and the taste of the overcooked paprika doesn't let you taste the rosemary salt. Maybe adding the paprika when cooked would be a good idea. Overall 9/10 experience. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely, gorgeous restaurant! I went for my birthday and was definitely not disappointed! The food was A+ such big portions we couldn't finish but were happy to take doggy bags home with us! I got the buffalo chicken pizza and WOW it was so good ! Chicken was tender and flavourful whilst the pizza base was delicate and delicious! In addition to the great ambience and food, the staff were the loveliest people and were so patience with my indecisiveness haha! Genuinely such kind people and we will definitely be back many more times! Thank you ! Great start to my 21st!♡♡

First time here - Nice pizza, good size and different toppings, good selection, maybe somewhere for a quick drink and bite to eat. - Good atmosphere. - Best to book, as gets very busy and tables are quite close together. - There is music that plays in the background, good songs, but maybe a little bit too loud, couldn't hear the waiter and was very difficult to have a conversation at the table. Second time here Came with work for the all you can eat buffet, huge choice and portions, garlic bread, potato wedges, salads, all pizzas included in the deal.

We alternate between here and Suede bar because they're both equally good. Oscar and Rosie's win on quality of ingredients, Suede bar have an unbeatable crust. If these guys had a love child it would probably be the best pizza in the UK. Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed the Cosmopolitan today (serrano ham and tinned peaches). Great service and playlist too!

Great vegan pizza! So many options to veganise pizzas, and an amazing crust. Closest thing to a New York style pizza I know of in Nottingham! Been back so many times I couldn’t even count, it’s just always consistently great! Just as good dining in or delivering!

I don't think the photos do this place justice. The pizza is fantastic. Excellent stuff - i particularly liked that despite ordering a really oily pizza, the base stayed dry. Tasted great. The wedges were really nice (and I'm not generally a fan of wedges!) and the mac and cheese was reasonably good too. Only reason for the 4 star was a mistaken order. They did ask about swapping it, but it was made slightly awkward. It was only a slight issue though as the staff were quite friendly. Treat this review as a 4.5.

Went for a meal with a friend and it was delicious! The servers were attentive & friendly and the app to order was simple and easy to use ☺️ Very good social distancing with the tables and required a temperature check on arrival in addition to the track and trace login which made us feel very safe - fantastic job! Really great for the group unlimited pizzas! Although I felt the waitress a little rude and dismissive, and it felt a little bit like you'll get told off for asking for anything. Pizzas were really tasty though!

A walk-in pre-concert pizza with my 14-year old son. Seated straight away (6.15pm). Great position in the corner for people watching! Gorgeous pizzas (the Boom Chicken Wah Wah/St. Martin's Margherita. Friendly service, not overpriced. Will go again next time we are in Nottingham.

Work Do here. "Bottonless Buffet". Food was plentiful and there was certainly lots of choice. However, we felt a little "under manners" with rules being quoted (considering how much money it was in total) and also almost had to guilt them into taking some away as the food wastage is shameful. All of us decided we would not be visiting again.

Celebrated the 26th birthday of a friend at Oscar&Rosie's with a large group. For only £15 each we had more food than we could eat! The pizzas are very good and change from the ordinary, for instance one pizza has beetroot on it and it was actually great. Mac&cheese was very well made. They have a good selection of beers.

Great menu and lots of Gluten free options. They have a great lunch time deal of £8 for an 11inch pizza. All four pizzas we had were all very scrummy and you could tell they were freshly made. Gluten free pizza was very nice and didn't taste like the shop gluten free pizzas, which are normally overly sweet and taste terrible.

I heard about Oscar & Rosie's a long time ago but never got round to check the place out. And I am so glad that finally I did. We were celebrating a friend's special birthday - and while pizza may be considered by most as not that special for a special occasion - managed to book a table on a busy and hot bank holiday weekend. The service was polite and efficient. There is a decent selection of pizzas and pastas - not too many to choose from but not too intimidating a choice so that you get lost in what you really should go for and would end up buying the one with the pepperoni. Decent vegan selection as well, not that I am vegan but you don't have to be vegan to eat vegan food. Pricewise I reckon it is on the reasonable side, too. Overall a very good experience and will be happy to return.

Don't get me wrong, the food alone deserves a solid 5 because their vegan pizzas are bangin' ! The toppings include everything from caramelized onions to meat substitutes, so there's something for everyone. However, I've been here twice and both times the waiting staff weren't 5 star in terms of friendliness or efficiency. It's such a shame because I want to bring my friends here but I don't want to be greeted by someone who looks annoyed that I've come in to their restaurant :-/

Recently attended a meal with my friends at Oscar and Rosie's, the service was good, with the waitress being very helpful with any of our requests. Water was provided for free at request. The garlic bread was good, however the base was quite burnt, but the top of the bread was very filling. The pizza's especially the mushroom special, was well received by all members of my party. We did feel the pizza's were overpriced for what how much we ate, the drinks were also overly expensive, but the water was provided easily on request. Overall, the service and food was good, but the pricing of the food and drink did not match with the price paid.

Went here on a first date last week and the service was impeccable. Our waiter, Morgan, couldn't do enough for us and his manager Sacha was lovely too. Morgan answered all of our questions and checked back on us too. He made it such a great experience. The food was phenomenal. I really want to like Oscar & Rosie's but I feel like the pricing does not justify the experience. I get the aesthetic, it's supposed to be different, but if you charge £14 for a pizza and £5 for a bottle of beer, I would at least expect there to be hot water running in the toilet and maybe the option for a glass with the beer. Maybe I'm old fashioned (I'm 28), but if you are charging a premium, at least get the basics right. The pizza was fresh, but nothing special the cheese was really sloppy and didn't bind well to the pizza. There's definitely better pizza out there for half the price.

Didn't take any pictures because the food was so good... We ordered a Frenchman pizza with tarragon & mushroom macaroni cheese. The pizza caught my eye because of the pesto base, which is something I haven't seen before and it was good. The star of our visit was the tarragon and mushroom macaroni cheese, which I was seriously considering a second order of. This dish was cheesy but not too kuch with the right amount of sauce and a beautifully deep taste from the mushrooms that was balanced out by the tarragon. I don't normally feel that mushrooms make a dish, but this brought the mushrooms to life in the perfect way. Love it and we'll worth the visit. As a side note, we were there during Pride 2019 and the vibe was fabulous: bustling, happy and with pride candyfloss. So much fun <3

Good pizza! 14" is always a winner. The Mac and cheese was very tasty. It's quirky and little. Doesn't do draught beers or ciders, but has a good range of bottles at a non-inflated price. (Drinking is expensive anyway these days!) I have been upstairs in the function room on one occasion which was a great space if you've got 30 or so that need entertaining for an afternoon. The staff were really friendly and keen to help out. I came last Sunday for the 'each as much as you like' buffet'. If I'm honest, I thought it was very expensive if you're all not massive eaters! A group of nine of us has five pizzas, two bowls of Mac and Cheese, two garlic bread pizzas and two potato wedges. It came to 190. It would have been A LOT cheaper to order the items off the menu separately and munch on them. So be warned, think how much you're gonna pig out before getting that menu!

Very cute & cosy, and super-friendly for veggie and vegan diners. The pizzas are huge, stretched thin and stone baked, so the crust is lovely and crunchy. Very creative pizza combinations on the menu too, with a separate vegan menu that's just as big and inventive as the main one. Four instead of five star because the vegan cheese I ate had a strange stickiness to it - perhaps I just got a rogue batch, though. MOD Pizza seem to have the best vegan cheese in Notts so I use them as my benchmark.

Ok, so here’s what you need to understand about O&Rs - it’s uniquely awesome. It’s not Italian pizza, and it’s not American pizza either. It’s its own thing, and it is glorious. I’ve been spoiled for choice throughout my life when it comes to pizza and there are two very good reasons why this place gets five stars from me. The food is delicious. Specifically the pizzas. Doesn’t matter which one you get, it will be delish. Maybe not quite the best ever, but few live up to that, and this really isn’t far off. What gets it that fifth star though are the folks who work there. They’re awesome folk who make you feel welcome, and make sure you’re well looked after even when the restaurant is slammed as it often is (a lot of people want top notch grub, right?). Between those two factors, this place is at the top of the tree and I just can’t find any faults. It’s worth your time, your taste buds and the very reasonable prices too. Best pizza in Nottingham hands down.

A pizza with soul and taste. Oscar and Rosie's boasts the best pizza in Nottingham. I can't rock that boat. The pizza is traditional, thin based, cooked well yet still light and crispy in all the right places! The flavours are done justice and not just slathered on a weak soggy crust. The lunchtime 11inch is perfect for a light bite and reasonably priced. The decor has a very simple chic but one which goes with the ethos of the place. One to come back to...many times over!

Sourdough pizza in a casual setting, so what is not to like? The food is ace, the place is okay, if a bit tired, and the early 80's disco music is inoffensive. The service leaves a lot to be desired but it is a pizza joint, so if you can overlook it then you can enjoy the great pizza. The wine list leaves a lot to be desired. Argentinan Pinot Grigio with New York Sourdough Pizza is an odd combination, so get a Cola or a beer, or perhaps get the pizza to take away. The pizza is definitely better than at Suede, in fact it is the best I have had in the UK, but the atmosphere and the service need work.

He seemed quite pleased with himself, stating that he could take cash, but chose not to. The two of us that were paying cash got our cards out, but all six of the group were left feeling a little baffled about a) his somewhat flippant attitude b) no warning was given about this whilst ordering c) if it is even legal? I'm sure we will all go again - maybe this is a sign of things to come (I hardly ever use cash myself) or maybe it's just some hipster affectation. Hey ho.

Based on a combination of quality of food and service (good, not excellent) and value for money (adequate at best) I'm rating 3 stars. Clearly the ingredients are good quality. I ordered the salad with ham, and the salad was all fresh, and the ham was a good complement. Service in the restaurant is good, but the advance booking arrangement for groups is somewhat unhelpful, especially in groups where some individuals are already flakey. You have to pay a deposit and preorder your food. It's a system with good intentions in mind (someone will probably reply to this review explaining this 'we're a small business blah blah, food when you arrive blah blah, not that difficult blah blah'), but there's a reason most restaurants don't do this: people are flakey and unreliable. If I was organising a group meal, I'd take them somewhere that operates like a normal restaurant so that they know what to expect, and there's less stress on my organising. The next issue for me is the portion sizes. Mine was a good-sized salad, and I couldn't expect any bigger (even though my hunger wasn't satisfied by it, a salad that actually would satisfy my hunger would be massive, so it's not like I expected them to put the whole garden in front of me), but all my friends ordered pizza and, if I'm honest, they were a bit disappointing; just looked really thin and small (personal pizza size). For £7 I'd expect a bit more, really (for example, you can get a medium pizza from Domino's for £8 (as part of an offer), which would satisfy most people). So overall, underwhelming but not to the extent that I would recommend that you avoid it. The restaurant has good vegan options, and the food tastes good, with fresh, quality ingredients. Just bear in mind the group thing if you're trying to include flakey people.
